The PureMate PM-510 air cleaning system has its efficient 5-stage filtering system. It’s quiet, easy to use and maintain with its unique 5-Stage filtering ability, it can cover a wide range of air pollutants.
The first part of the 5-in-1 system is the pre-filter which uses activated carbon to trap larger particles found indoors such as dust, lint and hair. Activated charcoal is very porous, and its uneven surface is great for trapping larger pollutants, but there is another benefit to it as well. A carbon layer efficiently eliminates odours stemming from household pets, cooking and tobacco smoke. During the second stage, the air is filtered through a True HEPA filter. True HEPA filters have to meet strict standards which involve being able to collect 99.97% of airborne particles as tiny as 0.3 microns in diameter. For instance, stuff like pet dander, dust mites, mould spores and pollen all fall into this category.
The third and fourth stage involves air filtration using UV-C light. This technology works to help kill airborne viruses, bacteria, mould spores, and with titanium dioxide (TIO2), decomposes odour molecules caused by smoking, cooking and pets.
And finally the last stage the unit releases negative ions which enhances the mood, keeping you alert and active. It eliminate most tiny particles suspended in indoors air. In addition, the air will actually smell fresher because of the Ioniser.
The PureMate PM 510 is suitable for rooms up to 400 square feet of in size which makes it perfect for most bedrooms. It stands 22-inches tall. The unit’s CADR (Clear Air Delivery Rate) is 110+ which effectively means it’s able to deliver 110 cubic feet of clean air per minute with 5 changes of air per hour.
The PM 510 has 5 fan speed settings available. When set on low, the unit is impressively quiet at 20 dB (A). In fact most people won’t be able to tell its working if it weren’t for the large blue LED, and the cleaner doesn’t get much louder when the fan speed is set to medium.

Brilliant product!
I am so impressed with this air purifier! As a chronic asthmatic with so many annoying allergies which are at the absolute worst in springtime, I was suffering terribly until I bought this air purifier which was recommended to me by my brother in law. My asthma was out of control, my eyes were red and constantly itchy, I was coughing and sneezing and my brother in law mentioned that he had bought this machine to help with his hayfever. He recommended it so highly that I ordered one straight away and got it ordered express delivery. Within 24 hours i didn’t need to nebulise and the itchy eyes stopped. Then the coughing stopped. I can’t recommend it highly enough! I use it every day. And it’s good to know that the filters can be bought separately online too.
Great quality. I was a little dubious at first, but after two months the amount of rubbish the filter picked up was phenomenal. Highly recommended.

It’s great. I run it constantly on setting 3 which is an acceptable hum. I only run the ioniser when the room is not in use as I believe this can be detrimental to health. My lounge, kitchen and diner are open plan in an L shape , quite a large area, so could probably use another one for the amount of space but I move it from the kitchen/diner area to the lounge area in the evening. The air is fresher and the dogs seem to be less sneezy. You’re supposed to keep doors and windows closed for effective use but when it’s really hot I have to open windows to get a through draft.

Simple to use straight out of box. Instructions say remove plastic bag from filter before use but no bag inside the one I received so just plug in and run. It is a little noisy on setting 5 but only because it is blowing so hard. We have found that setting 3 is good for general use and then reduce it to 2 when watching television. Only had it a couple of days but am satisfied so far that it is working as advertised.

This works really well you can put just fan on too if room too hot ! Help with my allergy there is a blue light which goes off when fan alone on ! I had this in my bedroom but the light was bright so I got a smaller one for my bedroom and this one is in our living room where the dogs are and I’ve noticed my mini pin does not rub her eyes since we had this as she as allergy problem too so I’m very happy with this ! It is load when on 5 the highest level but I only have it on 2 in evening

However first impressions: It is indeed extremely quiet on the lower settings which is great. Aesthetically looks better in person than in the pictures I think, very sleek with a very nice easy to use display on it too.
Have to give them credit for the ease of set up as well, literally was plug and go no need to fiddle around with the filters or anything like that, and the buttons for modes are intuitive.
Thus far all is good.
My room is quite small, so there was a noticeable difference in air quality very quickly, after I’d set it up I went out for a lecture(so about an hour and a half), leaving it running. Upon returning there was an immediate noticeable improvement in air quality.

It’s noisy at higher power levels. Difficult to avoid as it is a fan with filters. It is also large. Hard;y a complaint but read the measurements carefully and compare to something you have in the house to avoid surprises.

I have two Persian cats that are very fluffy. Fur goes everywhere. This product has helped so much to keep the air clean. Very easy to use and I keep it on all day on setting 1 which is very quiet. Only time I turn off is when I go to bed.
There are 5 speed settings, another button for Ioniser/UV, another button for Timer and then a ON/OFF button.
The unit itself looks really nice and well built. The discreet blue light comes on when UV is activated.

My son is 2,5 years old and he some major issues with the cough throughout both winters. Since I purchased PureMate over two months ago, I see major improvement. Not only hospital and GP visits are now reduced to zero, but seems to have more energy as he sleeps well though the night. I couldn't ask for more. Great purifier… I would highly recommend.
Could almost taste the difference within days. I lived in a small old cottage with no ventilation. The air was like soup! Had this running overnight or when I was out and it was like a new house when I came in. Noticeable difference when I was dusting as well. A lot less surface dust in the rooms I had it in.
Definitely a must for a bedroom or lounge to make it more comfortable. I don’t suffer from allergies but I took it to my parents house to use when we had a cat allergy sufferer staying. Used it for a day beforehand in the bedroom she was using and in the lounge when she was downstairs and she only had a mild reaction – we did put the cat outside for the duration but I would still recommend it for part of a solution in that situation. About to buy 2 more. One for mum and another for me. Filters are easy to change. I do mine every 6 months or so.

Professional grade HEPA air purifier with UV and Ioniser built in. This machine is super modern looking and well made. It is quite big (looks smaller in the images online) and arrives well packaged. The unit is super easy to operate and there is an option to turn off the cool blue light on the unit. This is the only air purifier I could find that states a proper CADR clean air delivery rate that was sub 300. The unit has 5 power levels from ultra quiet to mega powerful and the noise from the unit increases as you up the power. The output also acts as a fan. I have the unit in a smallish bedroom and it is very effective. Super clean air, a great nights sleep with no congestion or nose blocks. I like to sleep to the sound of a fan so this unit is perfect as it makes a nice white noise which can be altered in power. The filters seem easy to change out when the time comes. The instructions are in proper English not any Chinese crap as this is obviously not made in china it is of a decent quality construct. Pricey but worth the money – no more stanky bedroom. No more coughs sneezes germs pollen my bedroom is now my clean room. Ps would recommend you fully clean the room you intend to put this in prior to using it, i.e. Under the bed etc so that this unit can be left on and keep the room clean afterwards.
The best in the market. Few minutes in and I could already “smell” that our bedroom air was so much cleaner. It is unreal. Its so important to have air purifier particularly with HEPA feature. We have a carpet flooring in the bedroom and also a dog. Since Puremate the dog is no longer sneezing, and neither does my husband. Job done!

I have suffered very bad sinus problems and even had surgery. Allergic to everything, including my cat, which i didn’t want to get rid of. The headaches (around 4 a week) were like migraines and would last around 6 hours! At first i didn’t notice any difference and thought i had wasted my money! It took about 2 months for me to really get the benefit. The filter is chock a block with dander and muck that i would have been breathing in. I don’t need to use my inhalers anymore and just came back from having an MRI and no need for another operation. Also Haven’t had a headache since Christmas! Best buy!

Recommend this air purifier as it really works, for a small to large rooms for living, bedroom or anywhere in the house.
You might experience some headache or breathing difficulties in a day if you leave it on to much as I did in a small bedroom.
The Ions get to you as you are not use to the o3 air condition but it really works and for the cost its affordable and a reasonable price. It’s the top air purifier you can buy I wouldn’t advise you to buy the Vax.
Delivery was great quick delivery and this product is very good. Recommended for large to medium rooms. Only use it for small bedroom if necessary but only for a short amount of time like 10 to 30mins no longer than 30mins otherwise you probably have some side effects with your health.
Worked great for 5 hours. Then I turned it off for a few seconds and on again, the fan whirred up, stuttered, made an odd noise and ground to a halt. Since then the fan does not spin up at all, despite the unit itself turning on without any error indicators. Troubleshooting / instructions say nothing about this kind of failure mode, it is now effectively useless so will have to send it back. Shame really as it seemed rather good while it worked.
EDIT: Returned to Amazon and had a new one within 2 days (they had a Courier collect the broken one), have been using it since with absolutely no issues. Increasing from 2 to 4 stars.
I work in an office with no ventilation and mould starting to grow on a wall where there is a leak from the floor above. My allergies were so bad until I got this purifier. Now I can tell a huge difference between sitting at my desk (where I have the purifier blowing on my face) and when I walk to other parts of the office. The air feels notably different. When on the lowest setting, it is plenty of air movement without distracting fan noise. Just enough to be nice background noise. Highly recommend.
I’ve had this item for about 3 weeks. It’s good looking and easily portable, though too heavy for me to lift and carry by the hand slot provided – I need to grip it with the other hand, but it’s nowhere near as heavy or awkward as a basket full of wet laundry! As you’d expect noisy on full blast, but I tend to have it on number 1 or 2 most of the time when I’m home and it just hums quietly away – not disturbing at all. My son burnt something really greasy & smelly in the open-plan kitchen/sitting/dining room today I had this on full blast for 30-40 mins & it cleared the smell from the whole space. I can’t comment on the effect that it may have on allergy-sufferers, fortunately don’t have any. Works quickly and is very effective. I like the control of opting to use the UV and/or ioniser or not but I’d like the option of an auto function, even if I have to pay extra. It also looks great and quickly clears a large area. I use it in the living room where my troublesome cats live and I can now sit with them without having breathing problems. I’m very pleased with it and believe it is good value for money due to its effectiveness and quality.
For the 3 months I’ve owned it I leave it running on average 15 hours a day.
Today I’ve cleaned the filter for the first time, you can see the pictures, and I’ve included a comparison with a new filter which I bought at the same time.
The dust accumulation on my room has lowered noticeable, it also smells fresher.
This is my first air purifier so I can’t make any comparisons but I’m really happy with it.
The only downside is that it resets the program every time I turn it off, it automatically goes to max power but I want it running at the minimum setting with the UV and ionizer turned on so it requires about 3 to 4 clicks when I turn it on every day.

My bedroom feels like a forest glade after a rain storm. I love it.
Ordered this for a four year olds bedroom who has high sensitivity to dust and allergens. So much so, that having an ambulance called once a month because of sudden tightness in the chest and difficulty breathing was a regular activity. We’ve had this for two months now and what a miracle worker. Not one visit to the doctors and no ambulance calls either. One very happy four year old and happy parents! It’s pricey but worth the money.
Very good product. Worked well clearing cigarette smoke produced by a chain smoker, in a small house. The unit was noisy when running, but to me that was expected. I was happy with this purchase.
This is fantastic. We have been having all sorts of allergy problems since moving into a flat a few months ago. Running this for a couple of days has stopped those problems completely. It is very easy to use and very quiet at most settings – you can hear it at the highest fan level but even then it isn’t really intrusive. In any event is is so effective I don’t think we would care if it was 4 times as loud.

I originally purchased this when I was having difficulty breathing after buying new furniture. Having this in the sitting room made more of a difference than having all the windows open.
I have one kitten, a four year old cat and a very elderly cat who needs access to a tray – so of course they all use it. I have this plugged in near their trays on the lowest setting with ion and uv both on and find it really reduces the odours. When I come home from work my nostrils are not assailed by the scent of triple-cat-pee. Also my dad who has a cat allergy was here all morning the other day and didn’t ask for antihistamines, nor rub his eyes nor wheeze. He even commented than he couldn’t smell he cats!
I have wooden floors and stairs and find that the stairs need washing every other day because the dust in he air is caused to drop to the floor and and walls.
I’ve bought other similar items, some bigger, some smaller, all cheaper. None worked as well as this. I’m really pleased with the item and may buy another for upstairs.
I do not know if the filter reset light comes on after a set number of day or just when the filter is clogged but I’ve had this going continually since September 2016 and today 28th December the filter reset light has come on for the first time.

Very nice machine. Quiet and seems to process a large volume of air. I have chronic allergies to dust so will probably need a few days to tell if it can help extreme dust allergies.

My favorite purchase so far.. i have it on all the time. yeah it’s loud on 4 & 5 but the air feels and almost tastes fresher so who cares. i wake up less puffy and congested. i live with cats and i’m allergic and this is just the bomb. best part is when i open the back and see how much cat hair and dust etc it’s caught in the carbon! i’ve had it well over a year now and still haven’t needed to replace the filter.

I purchased this to keep my room clear of vape clouds indoors. It does an excellent job. On level 1 it is near silent and I leave it on all the time I’m vaping. On level 5 it is very loud, but is only needed for a couple of minutes to clear the room if I forget to switch it on. Awesome product. Highly recommended.

Good looking machine that has enough settings to suit most circumstances.
I was hoping that it would remove a peculiar smell in a spare room, the smell is not exactly unpleasant but it is distinctive and I can’t seem to trace it. The PureMate helps a bit but hasn’t helped eliminate the smell completely.
On a low setting the machine is quite, probably not quite enough for some people but it probably couldn’t be any quieter if it is going to do any good.
Many have suggested the fan on this is noisy, but at fan level 2 it is scarcely audible, and even less so on fan level 1.
It does make the air more breathable.
The only reason it has lost a star is because of the very bright (and totally unnecessary) blue LED that makes it wholly inappropriate for use in a bedroom. Some others have suggested the LED should be covered with masking tape, which I may try later, but it serves no function at all and the manufacturers could have saved themselves a few pennies while making a better product by just leaving it off.

An excellent unit. I like the fact that I can switch off the ioniser (I’ve read bad things about the ozone this function generates) whilst still using the UV function and it couldn’t be simpler to setup or operate.
We use ours in the cat’s room where the litter tray resides; let’s just say that he has something of a talent for the malodorous! Remarkably, and somewhat unexpectedly, the unit has conquered this odious challenge; a Hazmat suit is no no longer required in the vicinity of his litter tray and the rest of the house is hence saved from the fall-out.
The unit is virtually silent on low so eminently suitable for use in bedrooms though there are quite a few lights on it and I didn’t see an option to switch them off. The ability to disable or dim the lights would be a good feature to add, along with a ‘boost’ function to switch it to maximum for say a couple of hours (i.e. after the cat has spent a penny) as per our dehumidifier.
Love it! I could feel the difference By not having to wake up with a stuffed nose in the morning. Can also see the difference by not have to clean the apartment every 2 days. Easy to set up and works like a charm.

An excellent purchase if you want an air purifier that does as it says on the tin. Not exceptionally noisy which is a big plus, cleans the air and leaves it smelling fresh. The unit is a blessing and I am so happy to have bought it. The service was excellent and the delivery was before expected which for me was a major plus. You won’t go wrong with this Puremate.
This was bought because my wife has hayfever which has worsened over the past 2-3 years. We run it all night, on a low setting and for the past three nights she has slept without taking anti-histamines and without snivelling and sniffing all night. She says it has changed her life. It certainly has changed mine as I get an uninterrupted night as well now….

We run it all night, on a low setting and for the past three nights she has slept without taking anti-histamines and without snivelling and sniffing all night. She says it has changed her life. Great device. It does catch significant amount of nasty dust from air in room. It runs 24/7 for 3 months no problem.
At first I purchased cheaper clone but noise level was to great, this one on level 1 produces very small amount of noise.
Down side replacement filter could be cheaper.
I could not recommend this product any more – this is great. We had a the dreaded dead rodent smell in our kitchen after pest control had sorted out the problem. The little fella must have died in the wall or floorboards. The smell would just not go – we tried all the products out there! This was our last resort before we started demolishing our house! It literally took a couple of days of having this on over night and the smell has practically gone. It really has saved us a lot of money and a lot of unpleasant smells! Would totally rate this product and am so happy it worked!
I highly recommend this product my husband suffers from copd and it does seem to clean the air around you. It can be bit noisy but you do get use to it,I’m actually going to buy another one for our bedroom.

Very pleased with this purchase. Previously, I was having sinus and chest infections all the time. I also suffer with hay fever. All these symptoms have considerably reduced since using this machine on a regular basis. I keep it on a low setting at night. I use it on full power when I am dusting or when there is extra pollution.
This works really really well, and living near a busy town in London we think it really freshens the air in our bedroom.
Having on the lowest setting isn’t that loud and and really works.
Our only issue is that we have to cover the panel at night as there are SO many LED’s and a bright control panel! Remember to switch off the UV setting at night too, else it resembles an evil robot in the night.

The unit itself is whisper-quiet at it’s lowest setting. It performs brilliantly – when used in the bedroom it removes all the pollen; when used in the kitchen it eliminates the odours. Pretty portable as well.
I can’t praise it highly enough.

This does everything I expected and more it was perfect. If your not sure….just get one.
We suffer from stuffy noses and dry eyes. Central Heating only makes the condition worse. We find using this Unit, together with the PureMate PM908 Cool Mist Humidifier helps relieve the symptoms. Very pleased with the performance of both units and would recommend them.

Arrived promptly as described. is very quiet on the low setting which is great when you need it on at bedtime, it looks sleek and not obtrusive. I have only used for a few days for my sons room who suffers from allergies and so far he has noticed how fresh the air is in his room so we’ll see if it helps but so far so good he had a good nights sleep with it on. I would consider getting another one for my lounge if this one proves to be working efficiently over time. You can switch to different functions ie. if you don’t want the uv light to be on or the ioniser off.

Buy this product if you have allergies. it has made all the difference to the quality of life as my daughter suffered cat allergies and this was also her asthma trigger….but she wouldn’t give up her pet!We noticed the difference in air quality in just a few hours of using this amazing air purifier.and after a week my daughter has no asthma symptoms and only sneezes rarely.

Have this in the lounge on all the time , set at number 2 ( noise level not too bad). Have all three functions operating to clean the air . Works well and removes a lot of the dog smell . Better than having electric plug ins masking dog odours and destroying your lungs in the process. Very happy with it going to buy another larger version of this one for upstairs.

Excellent machine, does the job perfectly, no problems at all
It turned out that I was very sensitive to the new carpet we had put in and the chemical smog it was giving off was making me ill. As it was the middle of winter we couldn’t leave the windows open to ventilate the air properly so we bought one of these. It really has made a huge difference to the air quality and although I still can’t sit in the living room for too long, the air quality in the rest of the house is so much better. I no longer feel like I’m suffocating in my own home. Level 5 is pretty intense but levels 1-3 are quiet enough to leave on all day and we don’t notice it. I can leave it on level 1 next to my bed all night and I sleep really well. I love it and am so glad I bought it.

Very happy so far but they don’t give (or I couldn’t find) information about how many hours a day and at which mode you have to use it.
This arrived within two days of being ordered. It is far better than the first one I bought with five speeds on the fan plus UV light for killing viruses as well as an ioniser. I would thoroughly recommend this air filter and I plan to buy another one for upstairs soon. It really improves the air quality of my home.

helps with asthma and allergy`s we also have log fire burning night and day through the winter
the amount of dust is crazy, my room smells better and don`t have to clean it as often.
Does what its surposed to do clear the smoke and dust out of the air. Stylish and discete stands next to the tv and blends in and looks like an extra speaker. Have it turned on to 3 in the afternoon and can clear the air of smoke smells quickly and effortless then turn it to 1 for the rest of the night. Have noticed I don’t have to dust as often so result for me, as we can get a lot of coal dust when its cold. No funny smells off it like some I have had. Ideal if you have a large size living room. Possitive side is I can now stay warm in the winter instead of having to go outside to smoke.
Down side is the cold air that comes out the front. Silent it isn’t unless you put it on 1 fan is noisy.
I ordered one of these first to see how it worked & I loved it so much that I’ve ordered 2 more for my bedroom & study. I was worried that it would be too noisy but I have it on the 3rd setting which is adequate for me as I’m a non-smoker & I can barely hear it when the room is silent & can’t hear it at all when the television is on. Even on the highest setting it isn’t as noisy as I expected. I love the UV mode which kills bacteria. I suffer from fibromyalgia & I am also on an anti-cancer drug which leaves my immune system compromised so this function will be brilliant for me to kill any bugs in the air. My friends & family won’t need to worry about staying away from me when they have the slightest sniffle now 🙂

I’ve used this product for a few weeks now, and I can confirm that I saw an overall decrease in dust particles in my room, however they are definitely not fully gone. My allergic reactions have also lessened enormously.
One thing that I hope is not placebo is that I seem to be a much better sleeper lately, even if I leave the filter on all night (it’s very silent). I will continue to use it and feel that this product is good value.
Really quiet on the lower settings and I swear it makes a difference really quickly to the room. Looks nice and sleek and seems like it is built to last. I’d encourage anyone thinking about getting something like this to get this one!

I’ve wanted to try a purifier for quite some time and finally placed my order about a week ago. I received it a couple of days ago and was astonished at how well this unit has cleaned the air in my house. Between the cigarette smoke and other household odors I was pretty skeptical that anything would work well enough to make a notable difference. I was wrong. I use to sit with a blanket covering my nose when my husband was smoking and now I no longer notice the smell. It is extremely quiet on low but I’ve been running it on high and while you can hear it running it is still a quiet running unit. Now that I’ve tried it I plan on ordering one more to place at the other end of our house. It has made a remarkable difference.
