Be patient!
When opening this product and removing from the zipped cover i was initially disappointed. The memory foam looked so squashed and flat i couldn’t imagine it would do the job of offering a comfortable night’s sleep. However, i do encourage patience- i left it in a heated room for 2 days and it did indeed puff up. Ive slept on it for 3 nights now and can say it really is comfortable. There are a few areas that have not fully fluffed up but all the reviews state to give it at least a week to settle in and get used to your body sleeping on it. Its not perfect but its very good. Ultimately, yes i would recommend this product for the price.

I don’t suffer from back pain but did move into a property that had a very firm mattress. This topper is dreamy! I have had wonderful sleeps. Do follow the instructions and allow to sit opened for a few hours. You won’t regret purchasing.

having invested 1000 in a mattress and still waking every couple of hours in agony, I bought this topper and had a pain free night, every night since using it. It does have retaining straps to stop creeping. Cannot fault, highly recommend esprcially if you suffer with RA.

Mattresses were so expensive so I opted for this. The first morning I got out of bed and all my aches I usually feel were gone! However my hip was still sore and it has taken trips to the osteo to get that fixed, but it was still a bit sore. Now though after a few months if sleeping in this my hip is completely pain free and i wake up with not one ache anywhere! Absolutely brilliant.
The only down thing was it arrived and smelt a bit toxic and I should have aired it but i put it straight on the bed as I was desperate and hence the smell lasted over a week and made all the sheets smell, bit now it’s fine.
I’m really satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend it for aches and pains!

This has really improved my nights sleep. My mattress is very firm and this just gives my bed that hotel quality feel. I can’t wait to get into bed at night. Would highly recommend everyone to have one of these.
Firm but comfortable
I left it to come to size, it took around 2 1/2 days. Popped it back into it’s cover and it fit’s the bed perfectly. It has taken me a couple of days to get used to it but I’m very pleased with it now.

Excellent quality toppe
After buying a mattress that was a little to firm, I needed a topper
This topper is % original quality memory foam. It does take 72 hours to regain shape but comes quickly , conveniently packaged. There is no smell , it’s non slip and is extremely comfortable.

Very warm but comfortable
The mattress was very well packaged and delivered in time. It was much heavier than I expected and probably not suitable for travelling. I opened it and left it to regain its shape for 72 hours as recommended. Getting it back into its cover was a challenge. My daughter had to help and it’s still not 100%.
It fits over my existing mattress well and up to now has remained in place with the elastic straps and a fitted sheet.
The first night I was extremely warm (it was about 12* C and I the next night I used a lighter quilt which resolved this problem. I don’t wake up several times in the night to change position due to pain and I don’t ache as much in the morning. I’m also less tired during the day.
There is still a residual smell which I presume will fade in time.
Overall I am happy with my purchase. It’s good value for money and would recommend to anyone looking to refresh their mattress or add a memory foam layer. However, this is not a cooling mattress, so if, like me you’re a woman of ‘a certain age’ you might want to look at other products.

I purchased this because I was having a lot of back pain waking up in the morning, but this topper is amazing! It’s nice and thick and the bed is so much softer whilst still providing support for my back.

It took just 4 or 5 days for my back ache to completely disappear permanently. While not cheap this topper seems to be an excellent alternative to an expensive new mattress. May I offer a couple of hopefully helpful tips. As the topper is heavy so if you live alone, I really recommend you unroll it directly onto the mattress. I found it incredibly difficult to move about the flat after I had undone it. The other thing is it is very warm, which I adore but maybe people who like a cool bed would find it uncomfortable.

Finally, one that works!
I have purchased mattresses and toppers in the past with no success of releif from pain at pressure points (shoulder and hips) for several years. With 3 discs bulging in my lower vertebrae recently also i couldn’t sleep on my back so was a side sleeper.
Tempur mattress and Simba mattress returned. Slumberland mattress in the spare room and this topper is on a premier inn mattress that was also causing pain.
I followed the instructions, removing its cover and having it flat for 3 days in my spare room with the window open. Folds disappeared and thickness increased. Re-covered it and fitted it last night.
Initially you might think it’s too firm, however, last night i had the best nights sleep in several years! No pain, stiffness, soreness or numb legs during the night or this morning. Finally my mattress hunt has come to an end. I can also sleep on my back again!! Will see how long it lasts but will happily get another when that time comes.

Sleep wise, it is very comfortable and being a propper memory foam, it is supportive and works very well. All in all a big improvement and I find this exceptional value.

I’m not particularly sensitive to smells, but this mattress topper is really very smelly. It has a rubbery, harshly chemical reek. The instructions say to leave the topper uncovered in a well-ventilated room for 48 hours before zipping it back up and using it. I ended up leaving it for about 80 hours, turning regularly. After this time, there was still a noticeable pong in the air, despite me having a large bedroom with large windows left wide open, with air freely circulating from the rest of the house to the outside, and leaving a fan on the whole time. Hoping for the best, I washed the cover and my bedclothes with a nice fabric conditioner, put some scented dryer sheets inside the cover, and made up the bed. A week later, and my bedroom still stinks. Whenever the windows aren’t fully open, the smell accumulates, and the bedclothes have absorbed the foul odor and they too stink. Although the stink is possibly getting less pungent as the days pass — I wonder if I’m just getting used to it?
I’m going to give this topper a several more weeks and go through another cleaning cycle to see if the problem resolves, and then update this review accordingly.
I notice in the “Answered Questions” section above, someone asks about the bad smell — and a lady replies advising to leave the topper to air out in well-ventilated conditions for FOUR WEEKS and says “good luck”. That reply is heavily downvoted. Why? I can well believe that might be what it takes to get rid of this smell… and I’m puzzled that more reviewers haven’t mentioned the issue.
I really hope for the best because in all other respects this is an excellent topper. The cover is very well designed, a good fit with a non-slip texture on one side. My mattress is somewhat too soft, saggy, with lumpy hard bits and this topper resolves all those issues. But if it doesn’t stop smelling so bad I’ll just buy a new mattress.

Love it such a difference it has made to my sleep I just nod off now and sink into it and don’t want to get up. One of the best investments I have made yet! Highly recommend. Leave for a few days when remove from packaging allow it to expand .
New Toppe
Last night, was first night to use it. Very solid feel to it, different from my old mattress. Not a problem. I feel completely satisfied, that it will be great. Like the idea of a Bamboo cover, that can be washed.

Amazing pain relief
Brought a single topper to take on holiday as the beds in the holiday cottage had mixed reviews. It was so brilliant, it’s relieved my hip pain and on returning home, I’ve ordered a king size version to go on top of our own 5 year old Simba mattress as this didn’t compare. Don’t delay, buy one today if you have back or hip issues.

Ordered the small double, it’s a little under the required dimensions. Maybe 2″ too short.
The ends are not as yet expanding to size so the first few inches at each end are pretty flat.
But it’s fairly firm and comfortable for my needs, helping with back pain after laying on it for a number of hours compared to without.
Overall seems to be a good product, for the price. Bought it on sale. But only a few days of sleeping will know for sure.
I would say a 4-5 star product but for the minor issue of being a bit short and the ends.
With that I would still say 3.5, but Amazon doesn’t allow for that. So a 3 but may increase after a few days of use and see how it works out.
But as it stands I recommend.

This did exactly as I wanted. My divan bed is 10+ years old and instead of buying a new mattress or complete bed, I decided to give this a go. This has completely changed my bed, it now feels like a complete new mattress.
Only downside which will be an upside in the winter. It holds heat very quick. Great in the winter months but im glad I didnt have it a few weeks ago with 30 degrees plus outside!
Nice product, I was skeptical at first but..
I was a bit disappointed at first when I opened the box and put it on my mattress that has springs and made my sleeping uncomfortable, but after 3-4 days it came to its full size.. It has to be on the flat surface for several days to reach its full ‘potential’ so to speak so that the memory foam is fulfilled with air..

Caravan sofa’s tend to be a little on the cheap side, and much like a very cheap mattress. I was struggling with trapped nerve in my shoulder, and painful back when getting up in a morning (took a while to “loosen up”)
Adding this as a standard double to the caravan cushions has completely transformed our sleeping experience. Okay, so it does feel a little hotter, much like a lot of memory foam mattresses do, but being 5cm thick, the effect isn’t as pronounced.
Provides great support, gives nicely around shoulders if you are a side sleeper, and provides a nice restful sleep. We haven’t brought it in to try on a cheap mattress indoors yet, it’s staying in the caravan, suppose we may bring it out if we have guests over in the spare room. Worth every penny and some.

Improved sleep quality from first night!
Worth every penny, after struggling with a too hard orthopaedic bed bought for back pain! I bought the topper. I followed the instructions to remove from cover and allow to expand. The first night I slept on it I felt immediate relief, no more being woken up with hip pain and nagging back pain every morning. I have been using it a couple of weeks now and I now look forward to going to bed to actually sleep. I would highly recommend this product.

Great mattress topper but can get warm
Great mattress topper took a full 48 hours to regain full shape. Only downside is that it gets quite warm.

I have rhumatiod arthritis and have been struggling for months spending a fortune on new mattresses I bought this and honestly cannot belive the difference it has made no pressure on my joints and wake up in the morning feeling refreshed.. a must buy its amazing the difference it will make

When I unpacked the mattress topper I wasn’t convinced it would ever lie flat – it was folded, rolled and vacuum sealed for delivery which resulted in some pretty extreme creases and warping. After 24 hours though it was perfectly flat and even.
My old mattress is a bit threadbare and the springs would keep me awake at night before, but with the mattress topper I can’t feel them at all. It’s like a whole new bed

Taking it out and putting back the cover was a bit tricky. I let it get back it’s shape over a few days.

This matress wasn’t for me, however I have given it 5* because the service of this company is exceptional and I will not give it a bad review in any way. When I contacted Recci with an issue they were responsive and immediately put everything right. The matress itself is good quality and there were no fumes at all (I did wash the outer layer to be sure). I can not recommend highly enough. Absolutely worth giving it a go with a genuine 30 day trial…. everyone’s needs are different…you have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Having bought many mattresses and toppers over the past two decades to alleviate a lower back problem,
my wish has finally come true. The support this topper gives is superb, firm with enough absorption to prevent that ‘sinking’ feeling, Being of a larger frame (100 Kg+) finding a topper that retains its spring has been a truly heaven sent experience.
Super comfortable!
Lovely topper very thick and squishy. Perfect if you prefer a softer mattress as it feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud.
The only thing that bugged me was the smell when I opened it but this went away after a few days of letting it air out.
Not as comfortable as a memory foam mattress in my experience.

I’m very skinny and the current mattress I have is spring loaded and digs into my ribs! This mattress topper is amazing! I work nights and sleep in the day! I now sleep right through the day without waking up in any pain! Good quality sleep and comfort! highly recommended.

We bought this for our caravan bed which felt a little soft. My husband and I have both had operations on our backs & need to ensure our mattress is supportive. We both found it extremely comfortable & suitable. I fully intend to buy another for the spare bed. Some comments mentioned a smell – even in a confined caravan this was very minimal. I didn’t notice anything but my husband said he thought he smelled s faint smell once!

Quite comfy mattress pad
I do like this mattress pad, it has improved my sleep quality somewhat, however, it hasn’t improved my back pain as much as I thought it would. However, I have an electric blanket over the pad, so that may be why it’s not helped my back pain. I’ve been a long time user of memory foam mattress pads, and they are excellent if you like a comfy night’s sleep. This pad seems to be of good quality so far, it’s nice and thick, and has kept its shape, just as you’d expect from a memory foam mattress pad. I especially liked that I could get it in a smaller than single size, because my husband likes a very firm mattress, so he won’t use a mattress pad like this. This pad fits perfectly on my side of a king size bed. We even measured to make sure we got equal bed width for both of us, and it was spot on! Highly recommended.

This mattress topper is very thick, very plush and really comfortable. You will love sleeping on it! I know I do. The sleep (and nap) quality is great. This mattress topper doesn’t fix my chronic back pain but it does help quite a bit. It has a strong “factory” smell when you purchase it but we gave the cover a good wash and let the foam sit out in the open air for over 24 hours and that helped. After a few days sleeping on it the smell disappeared. The cover has little rubber dots along the bottom to keep it from sliding and four extremely sturdy and good elastic straps to hook it to your mattress. We are both toss and turners and it hasn’t budged!

Would recommend this topper for anyone who suffers back or other pain.
I have bought two mattresses recently that are supposed to help me as I have spinal stenosis. Both were expensive but I still suffered bad pain.
I then decided to try a mattress topper. Looked at several reviews and made up my mind to get this one. How glad I did. Have had the best sleep for a very long time and almost pain free. Would highly recommend it for anyone with back, hip or leg problems.

Best thing I've bough
As a 22 stone trucker that lives in a cab all week away from home I have found some bunks really uncomfortable, so I purchased this and wow, I’ve never had such a comfortable night’s sleep. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend this to otuer truckers and in the home too … it fits a Mercedes actros bunk a treat, it isn’t head to toe but is shoulders to toes and so your pillow will cover the head part.
The company offeres a 30 night sleep test and if you’re not satisfied you can send it back but this one’s staying with me!

It smelt of newness – which is my only comment, like a smell of plastic almost but I should have aired it properly for a day or two like everyone else has. I just wanted to sleep on it and was impatient.
