Big really very big I didn’t manage to get it on the wall of my house. I had completed a lot of research to add this to my reolink collection. This reads well, has excellent capabilities but if you want to turn your house into an industrial warehouse and secure it – this is for you.
I returned and bought sim Reolink 833’s – which are equally excellent just not enormous.
Good value for money Great value for money does everything it says on the box. If i was critical it is regarding the interface with my ipad etc. There is no consistency with the different screen options. One will say give you the option of activating the flood light and on another screen it is not there.
Fantastic Camera, love the auto spotlight optio So this is the second Reolink PTZ camera I have, and boy oh boy, this is a great camera.
I enabled the colour night vision and changed the spotlight setting to come on when it detects people and not cars.
Wow, it just works!
Anytime a person comes into the cameras view when it gets dark it switches on its spotlight.
This allows the colour night vision to work brilliantly, so win win.
The AI on this camera works extremely well, and the spotlight really does only come on when a person is spotted, all the cars going up and down my road so not trigger it.
Really happy with this purchase.
Top caméra performante Camra de belle facture. Elle est moyennement imposante mais pas trop lourde. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour l’installer. J’ai achet un switch POE Netgear pour la connecter au rseau et l’alimenter + carte micro SD Amazon de 256 Go. Trs belle qualit de l’image que ce soit en vision de jour ou en nocturne par l’clairage infrarouge. Les 3 spots Led assurent un clairage suffisent en cas de dtection pour avoir un revu de qualit. L’autofocus est un peu lent mais pas trop pnalisant, le zoom x5 est suffisent pour mon besoin.
Le paramtrage de base de la camra est facile faire, point de rfrence, mail… est relativement complet (je ne sais pas ce qui se fait ailleurs). Tout est accessible par le rseau local ou en 5G. Le paramtrage de la dtection des alertes est un peu plus pointue et sera que qui pose le plus de difficults. Je filme en faade avec une rue parfois passante et un trottoir, les alertes sont nombreuses et l’affinage des rglages n’est pas encore termin. Ne pas oublier de dfinir les zones d’exclusion.
Bref je ne regrette pas cet achat ( ne fait que 5 jours mais j’ai confiance).
Au top les yeux fermés Une vraie sentinel rien lui echappe et la qualit de l’image est parfaite. Pour visualiser en direct sur Smartphone, il faut une connexion fibre et une bonne rception 4g. Je conseille cette camra pour protger sa proprit.

Anfrage am Reolink suport am Sonntag abend fhrte am Montag morgen zu einer antwort nebst neuer Firmware ( somit suport reaktion in meinem Fall Top ) jetzt arbeite die cam wie sie soll schwnken drehen klappt.
eben so ist die camara sehr robust aufgebaut, das sollte man beachten denn Sie hat richtig gewicht…

Brilliant Camera I have had lots of cameras from lots of different brands but this is by far the best, clarity is excellent, conection speed to my mobile is very fast, app software is very good.
Gute Kamera mit kleinen Potentiale Ich habe die RLC-823A seit ca. 2 Monaten in Betrieb. Im Vergleich zur vorherigen RLC-423 kann sie alles besser und hat zustzliche features, wie Personennachverfolgung und LED-Licht. Wenn man nachts nach hause kommt, wird einem so der Weg ausgeleuchtet. Allerdings bringt die Einstellbarkeit, wo die Bewegungserkennung startet nichts. Ob sensibel oder trge, kein Unterschied. Die Bildqualitt ist am Tag gut und lt nachts nach, auch mit LED. Ich kann damit leben. Die Fokussierung geht etwas schneller und besser als mit der RLC-423. Das eingebaute Mikrofon funktioniert, die Mglichkeit von Durchsagen ber die App mag jeder selber beurteilen und wer bedarf hat, kann noch einen Warnton auslsen. Die App ist o.k., die Mglichkeit des automatischen Updates finde ich gut. Gibt aber noch keins. Die Einbindung an meinen Qnap-Server funktionierte. Das Preis-Leistungsverhltnis finde ich angemessen.

Very happy with this PTZ I purchased last year a SV3C 5MP WIFI Security Camera, which stopped working within a year. Thankfully I was refunded (appreciated) and started looking for a new PTZ after much searching I found this camera which has mixed reviews on Amazon, however Utube showed differing examples of the camera in action which compared with the SV3C the sound and picture quality was far better, motion detection and movement really good, camera does have auto tracking and the motor seems much smoother than my previous camera. Setting up was easy, though the bottom screw fixings into the wall need a long handled driver. All in all and it is early days I know, I’m really happy and can recommend this PTZ.
Good camera I have been installing reolink cameras for a few years now, and you can’t fault them, simple to set up defect warranty and good customer care. I used to use hikvision but they could be a pain to set up, these just work out the box.
Great, I wish I had all 4 like this one! Great camera, replaced static one with this and no complaints. Had to update firmware to add more features which is not straightforward unfortunately. I wish I could throw more cash to replace all 4.
Zoom is alright, but wish it was better.
Not Quite There This camera is good, very good, but not quite 5 stars. Has loads of features and quite easy to setup, however there are issues with making it work as expected. For example: You can only have tracking active on its own, not in conjunction with Guard Point. Set guard point to your drive for instance. If someone walks past your cars you want to track them so the camera moves to them. But it does not stay there watching them, it goes back to guard point. If you make the time after the detection to record them longer, say 10 minutes, the camera will not go back to the drive for 10 minutes. This means the drive is no longer protected.
Very Well Built Camera, And Better Than I could have hoped for the price I ordered this camera to set up a webcam of our Used Car Ptch for our customers to view over the internet, it is far better than I could have hoped for, for the money. At the moment I have only tested it in the office, linked up to the Reolink NVR Hard Drive Recorder whilst we are waiting for a rooftop bracket to be fabricated. Today I discovered I had ordered the wrong one and I have to say that Reolinks customer service could not have been more helpful and were prepared to exchange it even though it was way out of Amazons return period, its seldom you come across such great service these days, so I have decided to keep this one and order a complete CCTV system off them, I can thoroughly recommend, the product, the firm, and above all their customer service which is second to none

Giunge impacchettata in modo sicuro, ma non viene distribuita con un POE injector, solo con un alimentatore che, comunque, fa il suo mestiere.
Quanto alla rilevazione del movimento appare molto sensibile, va tarata di conseguenza, altrimenti giungono allarmi in continuazione.
Devo ancora provarla all’aperto e sotto la pioggia, ma il calore che emana l’elettronica dovrebbe essere sufficiente ad impedire qualunque condensa sull’obiettivo.

Best price here with coupons Been waiting for this since August when they were made available in the US. Reolink put me on their mailing list but didn’t notify me. I found it on ebay at 239.99 or best offer, I submitted 230.00 and they countered with 237.00. Then I found it here on Amazon at 239.99, with coupon price it was 227. and delivered next day, happy as Larry. Got good reviews and spec, 4K and 5x zoom, vehicle and person recognition, alarm and spotlights, just waiting for good weather to put it up. Note: this will only work with Reolink. Really good PTZ Camera This is another really good camera from reolink, a nice upgrade from the 423.
The one thing they still haven’t gotten right though is the motion detection. Even though it’s now supposed to be AI but it’s only marginally better than the 423.

Tolle Kamera die macht was sie soll, POE Betrieb leider jedoch nur eingeschränkt möglich Die Kamera funktioniert soweit gut. Lediglich im POE Betrieb funktioniert sie nicht, sobald die LED Scheinwerfer eingeschaltet werden. Die Kamera hngt sich auf und versucht sich in einer Endlosschleife neu zu starten. Da hilft nur der Resetknopf. Habe es mit verschiedenen POE Switches probiert, es liegt definitiv an der Kamera. Evtl. knnte da ein Firmware Update helfen, ein solches ist fr diese Kamera im Moment jedoch nicht verfgbar.
Verarbeitung vom Gehuse fr diese Preisklasse sehr gut.
Die App zur Kamera ist ziemlich schlecht.

Reolink 4K PTZ Poe Überwachungskammera Gutes Produkt, auch wenn ich eine Kamera wegen Mngel zurckgeben musste.
Der Reolink-Service hat die Problem-Kamera letztendlich doch ausgetauscht und so die Situation zum positiven Abschluss gebracht.

Ich habe gestern eine sehr detaillierte und technisch versierte Antwort vom Reolink Support erhalten. Am Ende funktioniert die Verbindung von auerhalb genau so wie bei anderen Anbietern auch; Reolink setzt einen p2p Server ein, der mittels UID der Kamera aus der App die Verbindung zwischen Client und Kamera herstellt. Von diesem Moment an werden laut Reolink die Daten der Kamera direkt zwischen Kamera und Client App bertragen, verschlsselt mit dem notwendigen Passwort.
Die Tatsache, dass auch namhafte andere Anbieter so vorgehen und die theoretische Architektur, wenn sie denn genau so umgesetzt wird, lsst mich nun mit ruhigerem Gewissen die Client Apps von Reolink selbst nutzen und die Kamera darf auch wieder nach drauen kommunizieren.

Die Kamera an sich ist sehr gut verbaut, macht was sie soll und das auch zuverlssig.
Warum also die negative Bewertung?
Nun… Was mich persnlich sehr strt und was jeden Punktabzug in der Gesamtwertung rechtfertigt ist, dass meine Videostreams und weitere Daten auf einen Server auerhalb meines Heimnetzes gesendet werden. Dies fllt auf, wenn man unterwegs ohne Probleme auf die Livedaten seiner Kamera zugreifen kann ohne jemals davon in Kenntnis gesetzt worden zu sein, geschweige denn akzeptiert zu haben, dass meine Daten an Reolink verschickt werden.
Ich habe bereits ein Supportticket bei Reolink erstellt, um die technische Notwendigkeit dieser Praxis rechtfertigen zu lassen. Ich habe zudem darum geben, diese fr eine berwachungskamera meiner Meinung nach untragbare Praxis, in einem Firmware update deaktivierbar zu machen. Je nach Rckmeldung werde ich meine Rezension auch hier anpassen.
Bis dahin werde ich die Internetverbindung fr die Kamera schlieen und mit der Synology Surveillance Station oder in OpenHAB die damit wegfallenden Features abfangen.

If you use reolink cameras with the reolink NVR this is probably the best experience I’ve had yet with any IPC system. The defaults just work pretty much as is and I haven’t had to do hardly any tweaking. I especially like how you can filter motion detection points. Brilliant kit for the money so far.

Très bon produit PTZ pas chère Je tiens prcis que j’ai eu cette camra en promo pendant une vente flash 220 euros.
Je cherchais un fabricant ou je pouvais tout centraliser pour mes quipements, j’avais test IMOU qui malheureusement, ne permettais pas de faire du masquage et n’tais pas POE (et en plus est tomb en panne) j’ai donc essay REOLINK, et je peux dire que c’est vraiment de la bonne qualit / prix. c’est donc ma 3eme camras de cette marque. Une premire fixe assez performante et une seconde d’intrieur PTZ. Celle ci est donc une PTZ extrieur que j’alimente sur un petit switch poe de la marque D-Link (DGS-1080P) Elle parait grosse sur la photo mais finalement elle est plutt petite. Par contre trs performant !
La rsolution est un peu overkill et cela demande une grosse bande passante ! Je vous conseil de la rduire (cde base le max est 2560*1920 et je l’ai rduit en 2048*1536 pour garder le mme ratio. Cela permet de passer sur un flux de 7168 kbps (H264 oblige) ce qui est stable pour un de la lecture. Par contre sur le NVR intgr de QNAP (QVR PRO) avec la configuration constructeur, je suis brid 4000 kbps, ce qui me fait une image qui lag sur 11 fps (au lieu de 30) N’ayant pas trop de passage devant, cela ne me drange pas. Peut tre utilis le onvif pour rsoudre le problme.
Pour une lecture en direct en tout cas, ce paramtre est bon. Pour la rsolution “fluide” en SD, j’ai mis 640*480 15 fp avec un dbit de 384, ce qui permet de lire la vido mme avec une petit connexion (sur le tlphone en dehors de la maison par exemple).
Vous avez le choix de les connects au cloud (et donc envoy vos images chez Reolink) ou pas pour que a reste dans votre sphre priv. Si vous voulez utiliser les fonction Alexa ou Google, la liaison est OBLIGATOIRE sur le cloud pour que les camras soit bien connect a votre compte (et aussi en cas de vol, la personne ne pourra pas les utiliser correctement vu)
Par contre du ! Il est indiqu Audio et Lumire, j’ai bien la lumire infrarouges pour la nuit mais 0 son ! l’audio ne marche pas (dfaut de la mienne peut tre ?) n’tant pas une camra principal, je peux m’en passer)
La dtection de mouvement .. .atroce ,je l’ai dsactiv, elle n’arrte pas de s’activer ds qu’elle bouge … pas terrible.
La qualit des images est trs bonne cependant, de jour comme de nuit. Par contre, je n’arrive pas lire de plaque, ou trs mal. Etant une camra de jardin, a ne me drange pas mais il faut y penser pour ceux qui l’utilise pour ceci en camra principal.
Il est donc possible de mettre un titre avec la date et l’heure et de retir la “pub” sur la camra (inique de base reolink en bas droite)
la fonction PTZ fonctionne trs bien (mme un peu trop) elle est trop rapide, je vous conseil de faire des patrouilles (car c’est possible) avec une vitesse lente pour viter d’abimer trop vite le moteur
Eviter aussi les zoom dans la patrouille, l’optique ne zoom pas trs rapidement et met du temps faire le focus. Si vous faite des mouvements partout avec des zooms, c’est la mort de la camra assur rapidement (exprience dans la vido surveillance) .

Tracking fixed
Fortunately Reolink have finally fixed the tracking issue with their latest firmware update.
I was so close to return a second camera because of this issue.
If you have purchased a RLC-823A and start using it plug and play, you might find tracking issues.
Email reolink support about the issue and they will attach the latest firmware update. Follow instructions to install into the camera. Job done!

Expensive but worth every penny
It’s a fantastic camera and using the Reolink App makes for a great package.
Very quick to setup and a brilliant 4K zoom lense with many advanced features including auto track with follow with spotlight.
If you want a great camera, this is highly recommended.
Really good wee camera , the 5x zoom is perfect for your average bungalow but from up in the eves of a big two storey house it’s not really enough
Very happy with this PTZ
I purchased last year a SV3C 5MP WIFI Security Camera, which stopped working within a year. Thankfully I was refunded (appreciated) and started looking for a new PTZ after much searching I found this camera which has mixed reviews on Amazon, however Utube showed differing examples of the camera in action which compared with the SV3C the sound and picture quality was far better, motion detection and movement really good, camera does have auto tracking and the motor seems much smoother than my previous camera. Setting up was easy, though the bottom screw fixings into the wall need a long handled driver. All in all and it is early days I know, I’m really happy and can recommend this PTZ.
Good camera
I have been installing reolink cameras for a few years now, and you can’t fault them, simple to set up defect warranty and good customer care. I used to use hikvision but they could be a pain to set up, these just work out the box.

Great camera, replaced static one with this and no complaints. Had to update firmware to add more features which is not straightforward unfortunately. I wish I could throw more cash to replace all 4.
Zoom is alright, but wish it was better.
Not Quite There
This camera is good, very good, but not quite 5 stars. Has loads of features and quite easy to setup, however there are issues with making it work as expected. For example: You can only have tracking active on its own, not in conjunction with Guard Point. Set guard point to your drive for instance. If someone walks past your cars you want to track them so the camera moves to them. But it does not stay there watching them, it goes back to guard point. If you make the time after the detection to record them longer, say 10 minutes, the camera will not go back to the drive for 10 minutes. This means the drive is no longer protected.

Excellent image quality, day or night, also ptz and tracking totally on point.
Very Well Built Camera, And Better Than I could have hoped for the price
I ordered this camera to set up a webcam of our Used Car Ptch for our customers to view over the internet, it is far better than I could have hoped for, for the money. At the moment I have only tested it in the office, linked up to the Reolink NVR Hard Drive Recorder whilst we are waiting for a rooftop bracket to be fabricated. Today I discovered I had ordered the wrong one and I have to say that Reolinks customer service could not have been more helpful and were prepared to exchange it even though it was way out of Amazons return period, its seldom you come across such great service these days, so I have decided to keep this one and order a complete CCTV system off them, I can thoroughly recommend, the product, the firm, and above all their customer service which is second to none

La telecamera ottima! Veramente soddisfatto dell’acquisto.
Costruita molto solidamente, si collega immediatamente senza necessit di alcun intervento sugli indirizzi IP.
La visione perfetta, forse lo zoom ottico andrebbe potenziato ad almeno 10x.
In condizioni di oscurit ha una leggera difficolt a focheggiare.
Giunge impacchettata in modo sicuro, ma non viene distribuita con un POE injector, solo con un alimentatore che, comunque, fa il suo mestiere.
Quanto alla rilevazione del movimento appare molto sensibile, va tarata di conseguenza, altrimenti giungono allarmi in continuazione.
Devo ancora provarla all’aperto e sotto la pioggia, ma il calore che emana l’elettronica dovrebbe essere sufficiente ad impedire qualunque condensa sull’obiettivo.

Been waiting for this since August when they were made available in the US. Reolink put me on their mailing list but didn’t notify me. I found it on ebay at 239.99 or best offer, I submitted 230.00 and they countered with 237.00. Then I found it here on Amazon at 239.99, with coupon price it was 227. and delivered next day, happy as Larry. Got good reviews and spec, 4K and 5x zoom, vehicle and person recognition, alarm and spotlights, just waiting for good weather to put it up. Note: this will only work with Reolink. Edit: no longer best price, item was supposed to be in flash sale, 1st Jan it is 24 cheaper, not happy Reolink
Really good PTZ Camera
This is another really good camera from reolink, a nice upgrade from the 423.
The one thing they still haven’t gotten right though is the motion detection. Even though it’s now supposed to be AI but it’s only marginally better than the 423.
But, I still really like this and a nice upgrade.

Tolle Kamera die macht was sie soll, POE Betrieb leider jedoch nur eingeschränkt möglich
Die Kamera funktioniert soweit gut. Lediglich im POE Betrieb funktioniert sie nicht, sobald die LED Scheinwerfer eingeschaltet werden. Die Kamera hngt sich auf und versucht sich in einer Endlosschleife neu zu starten. Da hilft nur der Resetknopf. Habe es mit verschiedenen POE Switches probiert, es liegt definitiv an der Kamera. Evtl. knnte da ein Firmware Update helfen, ein solches ist fr diese Kamera im Moment jedoch nicht verfgbar.
Verarbeitung vom Gehuse fr diese Preisklasse sehr gut.
Die App zur Kamera ist ziemlich schlecht.

Reolink 4K PTZ Poe Überwachungskammera
Gutes Produkt, auch wenn ich eine Kamera wegen Mngel zurckgeben musste.
Der Reolink-Service hat die Problem-Kamera letztendlich doch ausgetauscht und so die Situation zum positiven Abschluss gebracht.

Ich habe gestern eine sehr detaillierte und technisch versierte Antwort vom Reolink Support erhalten. Am Ende funktioniert die Verbindung von auerhalb genau so wie bei anderen Anbietern auch; Reolink setzt einen p2p Server ein, der mittels UID der Kamera aus der App die Verbindung zwischen Client und Kamera herstellt. Von diesem Moment an werden laut Reolink die Daten der Kamera direkt zwischen Kamera und Client App bertragen, verschlsselt mit dem notwendigen Passwort.
Die Tatsache, dass auch namhafte andere Anbieter so vorgehen und die theoretische Architektur, wenn sie denn genau so umgesetzt wird, lsst mich nun mit ruhigerem Gewissen die Client Apps von Reolink selbst nutzen und die Kamera darf auch wieder nach drauen kommunizieren.

Die Kamera an sich ist sehr gut verbaut, macht was sie soll und das auch zuverlssig.
Warum also die negative Bewertung?
Nun… Was mich persnlich sehr strt und was jeden Punktabzug in der Gesamtwertung rechtfertigt ist, dass meine Videostreams und weitere Daten auf einen Server auerhalb meines Heimnetzes gesendet werden. Dies fllt auf, wenn man unterwegs ohne Probleme auf die Livedaten seiner Kamera zugreifen kann ohne jemals davon in Kenntnis gesetzt worden zu sein, geschweige denn akzeptiert zu haben, dass meine Daten an Reolink verschickt werden.
Ich habe bereits ein Supportticket bei Reolink erstellt, um die technische Notwendigkeit dieser Praxis rechtfertigen zu lassen. Ich habe zudem darum geben, diese fr eine berwachungskamera meiner Meinung nach untragbare Praxis, in einem Firmware update deaktivierbar zu machen. Je nach Rckmeldung werde ich meine Rezension auch hier anpassen.
Bis dahin werde ich die Internetverbindung fr die Kamera schlieen und mit der Synology Surveillance Station oder in OpenHAB die damit wegfallenden Features abfangen.

I w used hikvision for years, I’ve also used blueiris and many brands of cameras. I’ve recently purchased some reolink cameras, including this one and a reolink NVR. What can I say, I’ve got one gripe so far which reolink are transparent , they don’t support (fully) cameras of other brands. I had this issue with 2 old PTZ cameras, the worked but where flaky and PTZ functions didn’t work, so I’ve upgraded them to these cameras. If you use reolink cameras with the reolink NVR this is probably the best experience I’ve had yet with any IPC system. The defaults just work pretty much as is and I haven’t had to do hardly any tweaking. I especially like how you can filter motion detection points. Brilliant kit for the money so far.

Je tiens prcis que j’ai eu cette camra en promo pendant une vente flash 220 euros.
Je cherchais un fabricant ou je pouvais tout centraliser pour mes quipements, j’avais test IMOU qui malheureusement, ne permettais pas de faire du masquage et n’tais pas POE (et en plus est tomb en panne) j’ai donc essay REOLINK, et je peux dire que c’est vraiment de la bonne qualit / prix. c’est donc ma 3eme camras de cette marque. Une premire fixe assez performante et une seconde d’intrieur PTZ. Celle ci est donc une PTZ extrieur que j’alimente sur un petit switch poe de la marque D-Link (DGS-1080P) Elle parait grosse sur la photo mais finalement elle est plutt petite. Par contre trs performant !
La rsolution est un peu overkill et cela demande une grosse bande passante ! Je vous conseil de la rduire (cde base le max est 2560*1920 et je l’ai rduit en 2048*1536 pour garder le mme ratio. Cela permet de passer sur un flux de 7168 kbps (H264 oblige) ce qui est stable pour un de la lecture. Par contre sur le NVR intgr de QNAP (QVR PRO) avec la configuration constructeur, je suis brid 4000 kbps, ce qui me fait une image qui lag sur 11 fps (au lieu de 30) N’ayant pas trop de passage devant, cela ne me drange pas. Peut tre utilis le onvif pour rsoudre le problme.
Pour une lecture en direct en tout cas, ce paramtre est bon. Pour la rsolution “fluide” en SD, j’ai mis 640*480 15 fp avec un dbit de 384, ce qui permet de lire la vido mme avec une petit connexion (sur le tlphone en dehors de la maison par exemple).
Vous avez le choix de les connects au cloud (et donc envoy vos images chez Reolink) ou pas pour que a reste dans votre sphre priv. Si vous voulez utiliser les fonction Alexa ou Google, la liaison est OBLIGATOIRE sur le cloud pour que les camras soit bien connect a votre compte (et aussi en cas de vol, la personne ne pourra pas les utiliser correctement vu)
Par contre du ! Il est indiqu Audio et Lumire, j’ai bien la lumire infrarouges pour la nuit mais 0 son ! l’audio ne marche pas (dfaut de la mienne peut tre ?) n’tant pas une camra principal, je peux m’en passer)
La dtection de mouvement .. .atroce ,je l’ai dsactiv, elle n’arrte pas de s’activer ds qu’elle bouge … pas terrible.
La qualit des images est trs bonne cependant, de jour comme de nuit. Par contre, je n’arrive pas lire de plaque, ou trs mal. Etant une camra de jardin, a ne me drange pas mais il faut y penser pour ceux qui l’utilise pour ceci en camra principal.
Il est donc possible de mettre un titre avec la date et l’heure et de retir la “pub” sur la camra (inique de base reolink en bas droite)
la fonction PTZ fonctionne trs bien (mme un peu trop) elle est trop rapide, je vous conseil de faire des patrouilles (car c’est possible) avec une vitesse lente pour viter d’abimer trop vite le moteur
Eviter aussi les zoom dans la patrouille, l’optique ne zoom pas trs rapidement et met du temps faire le focus. Si vous faite des mouvements partout avec des zooms, c’est la mort de la camra assur rapidement (exprience dans la vido surveillance) .

Picture perfect/ easy install
Easy to install,picture is so sharpe. And being able to zoom in and out is a great feature. Highly recommend it to all.
