Battleship “Bismarck”
The Bismarck was the largest and most modern battleship in the world at the time with 42,343 t (next to the Hood). On 24 May 1941 she sunk the largest British battle cruiser, the Hood, in a sea battle together with the heavy cruiser Prince Eugene at the pack ice border off Greenland with the 5th volley of her 38 cm guns by direct hits. Launched on 14 February 1940 at Blohm & Voss in Hamburg, together with the identical Tirpitz it was the most modern ship and the prestige object of the German navy. With a length of 251 m, the mast tip reached 52 m above the water surface. A total of 17,450 tons of steel were used as armour protection. The newly constructed heavy artillery fired 800 kg projectiles up to a distance of 34.2 km, whereby 350 mm armour could be penetrated up to 21 km. While the Prince Eugene did not get a hit during the battle on 24 May, the Bismarck, damaged at the bow, set course for a French port.

konnte es aber trotz weniger Erfahrung gut zusammen bauen sieht Top aus sobald es fertig ist!
Leider sind hier keinerlei Revell Farben dabei,daher muss man sich diese also noch selber dazu kaufen (steht aber dabei welche Farben gebraucht werden).
Sonst kann ich nur sagen ,dass es ein Top Modell ist !
(Ps: habe so ca 50 h gebraucht geht bestimmt auch weniger :D)

Have not started making yet but have checked over and very impressed . Unlike other models I’ve made all the parts are on the boards not detached and loose in the box It should be a good model I’m looking forward to making it I’m glad I bought it. Would recommend buy.
The only thing that (IMHO) it needs is photoetch rails as they are chunky, and two custom decals. You know the ones.
If you’re a seasoned model maker you’ll be doubting the quality of this kit due to the manufacturers reputation. Don’t. This is the best Revell kit I’ve ever built and it’s up there with the best. It’s blown me away and i highly recommended it. Superb.
it has not been made yet, as it will be done when i get around to it in the near futurer. it came to me in a large box from you, my husband open the box up and it look, great to make, but at this time it is in the spare room as i have a few models to do first.i have just finshed the HMS TYPE 45 DESTROYER and before that it was THE US NEW JERSEY. i reckoned that the BISMARCKis going to take a few months to do with painting the parts before putting together. when it has been done i will contact you again and tell you how i got on. thank you so much.
J’ai mis 3 toiles au niveau du rapport qualit-prix car lorsque je l’ai command il tait beaucoup plus cher alors que le lendemain quand je suis partie sur l’article il avait baiss d’envrion 10. Sinon l’article est arriv au complet et bien emball.

Da quanto ispezionato, c’ tutto per realizzare una fedele riproduzione della Bismarck in scala 1:350. I pezzi d’assemblare e colorare sono tanti, ma con la passione per questo hobby e la pazienza si possono ottenere buoni risultati.

Premetto che devo ancora iniziare a montarla, comunque ho esaminato attentamente il kit e lo trovo ben fatto, Revell rimane una garanzia di qualit degli stampi e di precisione dei pezzi. Tutto ben riprodotto, peccato che manchino nelle decals le svastiche di prua, quella di poppa e quelle delle bandiere, ma per fortuna il mercato delle decals post vendita le rende disponibili (anche se a 15 circa).
Il prezzo proposto da Amazon era troppo invitante e cos ho acquistato anche se non era nei miei programmi.
Il servizio Amazon sempre puntuale e veloce.
La scatola della nave arrivata dentro un’altra scatola di imballo, nei tempi stabiliti e completamente integra, neanche un graffio. Non per principianti, con l’aggiunta di dettagli sembrer vera.

Tout semble comme il faut, mais j’ai une imperfection l’avant du bateau c’est dommage, j’espre que a ne gnera pas et que a ne se verra pas la fin.
Les autocollants ne font trs bon effet d’aprs moi, sur la coque en tout cas.

This is a very nice model to make and is big in size. While you can spend money on extras the reality is every you need is in the box to construct the kit. Instructions are coloured so really easy to follow, decals are superb and the fit is exceptional.
Paint wise, you can get away with just Grey, Black, Hull Red, Brass and Wood so you do not really need a huge pallet to make it.
What you do need is a bit of time, this is not something you can throw together. In terms of the price, it is my view that it offers great value. When complete it is massive and pretty impressive.
Should you tackle this then my only advice is to plan ahead a little bit. Treat it as lots of little models which you add together.

Das Modell ist wie erwartet und gefllt meinem Mann sehr gut.
Was mich jedoch gestrt hat ist, die Sendung kam ohne Umverpackung. Das Versandlabel wurde so auf den Karton geklebt, nicht so schn da der Karton doch sehr dnn ist und so schnell htte was kaputt gehen knnen.
Arrivato in anticipo , pacco super robusto e sicuro prodotto eccellente . Contentissimo di tutto Grazie AMAZON .

De trs nombreuses longues heures de plaisir la construire et peindre et le rsultat est superbe !! Notice complte et bien illustre. Attention, il faut un peu d’outillage assez pointu pour la monter car de nombreuses pices sont fragiles et minuscules.
Habe ich fr einen bekannten Bastler bestellt. Seine Bewertung: Sehr deffizile Angelegenheit, liegt an dem anspruchsvollen Aufbau. Die Teile sind zum Groteil sehr empfindlich, brechen leicht, z. B. Antennenmasten, Kanonenrohre usw. man muss sehr aufpassen, ggf. wieder zusammenkleben. Die Rumpfffnungen fr die Geschtztrme sind nach seiner Feststellung zu gro, die Trme mssen befestigt werden damit sie halten. Sind dann aber nicht mehr drehbar. Die Aufbauanleitung lsst zu wnschen brig. Bauteile werden beschrieben, aber es gibt keine brauchbare Explosionszeichnung, die darstellt, wo die Teile hinkommen. Man kann sich nur an den Fotos orientieren. Der Stnder ist etwas niedrig, man kann das Schiff nicht richtig von der Seite/unten betrachten. Insgesamt fr intensive Bastler brauchbar, Ergebnis als Anschauungsmodell durchaus sehenswert, wenn man bedenkt, bei den vielen Ausstattungen und dem Zubehr, Flugzeuge mit Abschussrampen usw. Aber nicht schwimmfhig, auch nicht dafr gedacht.
Je ne lais pas encore termin.

Die Plastik teile sind sehr gut getreu nachgebaut und es macht Spa zu sehen wie es immer Grer wird von Stunde zu stunde..:D
Ich wnschte es gbe noch das Schwesternschiff die Tirpitz oder die Scharnhorst in Mastab 1:172 oder noch Grer, falls ja wrde ich mich ber eine kurze Info mit link freuen 🙂

Super maquette, elle n’est pas encore finie mais je suis dj trs content de ce que ca donne beaucoup de dtails, les canons bougent et les dcalcomanies font une trs belle finition sur la coque

Certaines pices trs fines et fragiles sont un cauchemar a enlever de la grille des pices (j’utilise des ciseaux), quasi impossible de ne pas les casser!
Conclusion:
Trs bonne maquette que je recommande, beaucoup de pices, beaucoup de surfaces peindre et de quoi s’occupe

Es una maqueta muy completa, la recomendaria a todas las personas que deseen pasar muy buen rato y montar un barco muy bonito.
Muy bien acabadas las piezas. Las instrucciones de montaje se pueden mejorar. Hay piezas de sobra que no tiene sentido.

This kit of the Bismarck is right down my line of interest. It is properly rated Level 5 for difficulty and complexity and when you open the big colorful box it comes in, you’ll know why. The parts trees are many and on some there are almost 100 parts. There is also an extensive decal sheet (one would not think there would be one for a ship model) with very helpful waterline striping lines. If there is any indication of how detailed and accurate this kit is there is 101 steps in the kits assembly in its 28 pages of instructions, not including the painting chart and historical information page.
I have been assembling model kits since 1960 and have sen the hobby develop and mature into what it is today. For example, here is a kit for almost every conceivable version of the Messerschmitt Bf-190 fighter, when I started there was one, from Aurora, it cost $1.98 then.
To be honest in my review, I’ve just finished assembling and painting the hull and am awaiting paints and tools I need to make the kit a success and will be happy to post a final review when completed.
Oh, one more thing. To be a successful model builder with kits of this scale and size one essential trait is required: patience. I recall when much younger I was in such a hurry to finish the little kits that they looked just as hurried as I was to play with them. At my current age, you don’t play with a 42″ German U-Boot model. It stays in its acrylic case, as ship will, for all to see and admire.

Je suis contente de mon achat, tout est de bonne qualit et soigneusement rang. A l’intrieur on y retrouve les pices de la maquettes ainsi que la notice et des autocollant. Revell est un trs bonne marque de maquettes.
la notice du Tirpitz avec PE est disponible en 0 5096, ce qui permet une approche avant achat

Man kann es nur weiterempfehlen.
Genauso wie ich es mir vorgestellt hatte, zwar viel arbeit gerade mit Kleinteilen aber dafr gibt es ja das Modellbau-Zubehr Set. Wrde es jederzeit wieder bestellen!
Arived well in time and was good packaged, but the kit had one part that was broken, still looking into getting a replacement for it.
Would recoment using PE for the extra details.
