The RH86GH701B gas hob from Russell Hobbs has a sleek and modern black glass base, with black burners and black cast iron pan supports, to keep your hob safe and look stylish. The hob has 5 accessible dials that independently alter the temperature of your hob rings, meaning that you can easily cook a variety of different dishes at the same time and change the temperature to best suit your dishes.
This gas hob has 5 different cooking zones for your convenience; a triple zone, a rapid zone, 2 semi-rapid zones and an auxiliary zone. With varying wattages, ranging from 1000 watts to 3600 watts, you have full control over how you want your food to be cooked.
With an automatic ignition, the RH86GH701B is incredibly easy to use. Just the action of turning the dial will ignite the gas, saving you time and effort.
The appliance has a flame failure device that cuts the gas flow if the flame is extinguished.

Really happy with the hob considering the price.
Looks great and easy to clean.
Just as the other reviewers have said that lowest is still too high and you can not simmer. I thought I could turn the injectors down but they were already at the lowest point.
The best way to turn the heat to the lowest point is to turn the knob to the opposite side and just before the burner turns off you will have your lowest.
Buy big hob in CENTRE. Much easier to use.
Excellent hob! Easy to clean. But please buy big burner in the CENTRE. I changed this one and bought the centre one as my cousin has it and found it difficult to use big hibif it is at the side.

Very good.
Very good product but the fault is that the gas is not as easy to control as you think for a gas hob. The lowest setting is really not low enough and you do need to buy heat defusers. Actually the heat deffusers do save you money as you use less gas! Cleaning is fine but not as easy as I would have hoped but at same time its acceptable. This is a cdesign problem. However I do reccomend it.

I like to so stir frys but when the main burner is in the middle difficult to use other burners as the main burner is to the left with this layout means you can have other pots on the hob

Pan supports go right to the edge. They don’t fit snug inside the cooker. Quite disappointed.

Had to return as it was to long for my work top.
Easy to install and easy to clean. Nice gauge of material and decent cast iron pan supports for the price. Quick and easy ignition. Had to grind down a bike spoke to a flat on one end in order to adjust the simmer setting on each burner (pull knob off to expose the adjustment screw down inside the shaft on each burner knob) but once that was done it provides a great range of flame adjustment on each burner. Overall very impressed for the money.

For the cost, this hob is satisfactory.
Didn’t like the fact that even the lowest setting was too fierce to simmer.
love the amount of space being able to use much larger cooking pots etc.

Very happy with my purchase looks lovely in my new kitchen.
Used in domestic situation for a 95 year old female who operated it without problems. I’m not as old as that as it happens but I can say it compares well with a similar Bosch hob I have. The Russel Hobbs is a nice bit of kit. The knobs could be considered old fashioned or retro depending on your point of view; importantly they are easy to manipulate. Good flame selection burning bright and hot and easy to control. Other family members commented on its looks as well. It was as cheap as it could be bought anywhere as far as I could tell and I received it next day with Prime. Couldn’t really fault it.

Very pleased, however only quibble was one of the pre-fitted jets was difficult to remove,needed to drill it out as impossible to unscrew.
