Eye-catching desig
The look and colour is fantastic. Simple to use. Yes, I miss the digital controls but it is still satisfying to turn the dial and here the ding. 750w or 800w would have been preferable but the looks more than make up for it.
Great microwave, but can be noisy
Recently renovated the kitchen and this Scandi style really fits in, with a fantastic shade of green. I was a bit worried about the size of the microwave, as others have commented it’s a bit small. However, when I really think about the microwave doesn’t play a big role in our kitchen, so I’m much more pleased that workspace has been freed up.
The only problem I have is that the rotating plate (or the mechanism, not sure which) vibrates and causes quite a bit of noise. Annoying, but not enough to go through with returning the unit.
Fantastic addition to our new kitchen. It is a lower wattage than previous so we need to heat things slightly longer, but thats a user ed issue, not an issue with the device.
It is available as digital, we opted for the analogue simply because we want the simplicity, digital ones are all well and good but they can be too complicated to use…

Great microwave does the job
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the door doesn’t close completely the first time it needs bit of a nudge. Apart from that that its a good microwave, heats food up well, defrost works nicely too and colour is true to picture and wood finishing on the knob and microwave handle are a nice finish
Great little microwave
A great little microwave, looks really nice on the kitchen side because of the vintage look of it in terms of shape, a nice shade of blue and the wood effect handle is a nice stylish additional. The front of it is in a tinted mirror effect which is handy. Easy to use. I don’t tend to make the most of the different settings so can’t comment on that. I’d recommend as good value for money.

This is a lovely looking microwave and it really suits my kitchen and I am very pleased with it. It would have had 5 stars, other than the sticker on the front of the machine. I did read this in another review, however I kid you not I must have spent a good 40 mins gentle teasing off the sticker and the glue residue. Olive oil in the end did the trick!
Ideal size
We bought this microwave for camping. It is an ideal size and worked well. It’s appearance is pleasing to the eye.

I love the handlel with the wooden effect and the colour looks very modern. However the functionality is basic and fairly hard to use if you want to use the more advanced features. Also I LOVE how it has a handle that opens easily and doesn’t have the stupid button to open it that other microwaves have.

Not bad for the price
A good, compact, simple to use machine, just what I wanted. It was strangely wonky, the two front rubber feet were not the same thickness, so I had to put additional on one to stop the microwave from rocking.

Looks great if it wasn't for...
Microwave is small and stylish, and works great. There’s only one drawback so far… The labels. I’ve no idea what glue they used to haphazardly attach the warning labels to the thing, but cleaning it off is a nightmare – engraving would have been easier to remove!
Love this
Love this microwave, the colour looks very mint green but it is more sage – the wooden effects really make the microwave pop and it looks very sophisticated and sleek! Digital timer, and functions are very easy to use, all great so far!

Great microwave…BUT….why oh why do you put stickers on the front of the microwave that will not peel off and then leave sticky paper after removal? Just stupid to put stickers on the front that don’t remove. Truly annoying.

Lovely microwave, works beautifully. Looks gorgeous in my kitchen and no issues this far. Only little qualm I have is the height of the inside, could just have done with 5cm taller in the middle.
Even my children went ‘Oo!’ when they first saw it. It looks fun and quaint. Easy to use – I can’t abide digital ones with loads of cooking modes.
It lost one star because of an annoying red sticker that took a hairdryer and patience to remove.
Otherwise, a great addition to a kitchen.
Not easy to see the mark on the knobs
Looks nice and good quality. Works faster than the 32 year old one it replaced. Got it for my mum, whose eye sight isn’t great, and I have had to mark where the line is on the dials.

So aesthetically pleasing to look at with not only the most gorgeous green surround but the door is mirrored & the wood effect handle & dials are stunning.

Makes my kitchen look awesome & coordinating
Bought this microwave because it looks pretty. But it turns out looks aren’t everything.
The internal space is a little bit too small. The two main products that cause me problems are…
1. Microwave popcorn (the bag as it starts to unfold will get stuck stopping it from rotating and causing it to burn
2. Rice pouches. They’re kinda too tall for the low roof.
For everything else it’s been fine.

Bought this microwave partly for the design. The functions are basic but work as needed, if buying again I would pay more for the digital display as it can be difficult to get exact timings.
Great microwave, works good but scratched
Arrived with a big scratch at the top of the door. This is very disappointing as apart from that is a great microwave, looks good and works easily. A shame that either in transit or at manufactory it has been damaged in this way.

Good looking, compact and intuitive
The wood effect inlays worked in well with the kitchen and the compact design took up minimal space on the worktop which is always at a premium. The microwave is intuitive to use and takes a standard dinner plate, coffee cup or bowl of soup without issue and that’s all I generally use it for. Cooks evenly when using the menu programs or just setting power and time manually.
Very stylish looking
Wanted a very small microwave to put in our motorhome and this fits the bill. Very stylish looking -only 700w but that’s ok, I tend to over cook stuff anyway! I love the digital display, mirror surface and scandi wood effect handle and knob. Something different and a reasonable price
A simple practical produc
This simple unit from Russell Hobbs was the perfect replacement for our old oven.. colour plus it’s wood effect handle and dial fitted our kitchen perfectly… Okay there are better ovens on the market but we’re more than happy with this lower powered unit.
So I’m pleased to offer my recommendation on this oven which offers good value for money..

Just the Job.
It’s not the biggest or the most powerful, but for what I use it for – defrosting, warming drinks, and reheating plates of food it’s great. I also love the way it looks, the grey and wood are so much nicer than the black plastic you normally get on microwaves. What’s not to like? Well the three notification buzzes it makes every time the timer’s up are perhaps too loud and red light telling you you’re on the clock setting seems unnecessary but those are minor gripes. All in all I would definitely recommend it.
Emergency purchase.
Bought when old microwave died and needed one quick. Looks great, works fine- simple controls and I love the scandi style. Early days as to whether it stands the test of time but so far , so good.
Looks slightly different to the website
The timber handle is only painted on, it’s not timber, and it’s actually more of a mahogany colour than would appear from the website image so looks a bit dodgy. The microwave works fine though.
Small, easy & stylish
I’ve had this microwave for 7 months. I chose it as its on the small side and looks sleek. Its easy to use & clean. The only downside is that the finished beep carries on going after you have opened the door. There is no way of stopping this within the settings. Only a minor irritant though. I’m happy with it.
It's good but small
It’s a good microwave, lower wattage (700w) but we knew that when we bought it. Still heats things up great. My only problem is that it’s not very big inside, my bigger plates etc won’t spin as they don’t have enough room. Looks great though.
700W Scandi Microwave
Stylish looking microwave from Russell Hobbs which is cheaper than the Swann equivalent model as well as being slightly smaller at 700W.
I liked the retro look of it and it also fits neatly in the corner being quite compact. Probably not really suitable for heavy usage if you have a large family but it seems simple enough to use for heating up smaller portions and drinks etc.

Easy to use
A great product, as expected from Russell Hobbs, without fussiness. Easy to use and does the job. Wood darker than expected but the colour of the microwave itself (green) is just what I wanted. Good value for a basic microwave.
Good Smart stylish microwave
Good little microwave for small kitchens or if you occasionally need it. Nice stylish design, easy to use, only downside is (which i was aware of) the 700w power which takes significantly longer to warm food as compared to our old 800w, i wish I would’ve gone for 800w model in similar design.
Very nice looking microwave
The microwave looks very nice. I have had no issues with using it except the plate inside the microwave always gets misaligned. Once you stop caring about it it is no longer a problem.

A lovely looking little microwave, a little confused with the 700w power as I thought 800w was the industry standard minimum.
It heats food fine but you do need to find some sort of conversion table to help adjust cooking times for the lack 9f powe
Stylish and mode
I’m not a fan of microwaves, they take up space and look ugly. This one, I really don’t mind. It’s stylish and looks far more expensive than it is. We’ve had it almost a month now and have absolutely nothing negative to say. It functions perfectly and looks great.
I bought this microwave because it’s an integral part of my time travel experiment. I’m attempting to generate a quantum energy field with my time machine to travel to the year 565 billion. I will return with the technology of the Gods to rule Earth and conquer the galaxy. Must have buy. I highly recommend this microwave. See you soon Earthlings.
Decent looking, works fine, glad not to have a digital display

Yep it looks good. It looked bluer in the pics but it’s really dark and the front is reflective.
It arrived with a ding in the top metal casing. Wasn’t sure if I should have notified or raised this. Instead I’m using it. It’s fine. A bit fiddly and basic but that’s what I wanted – no digital display (you can choose between that or non) apparently for anything under 2 mins you need to set it to 2 to start then decrease it. There is no start button – turning the dial turns it on. I realised after a while that it needs extra time than those given on microwave meals – as it’s not a high powered microwave. Not always told this. Does the job. Smells a bit plasticy when in use it’s new and I’ve never had a microwave before so maybe it will fade

Looks great in my kitchen and so glad I bought it. We have white topes and splashbacks and matt black doors so wanted something that wouldn’t look too dark in the counter space and this was perfect. My only thing to say as a negative is I wish it was an 800W for slightly quicker cooking but to be honest we don’t use the microwave that often so it’s not that bit a deal and I would rather have the asthetically pleasing look than the speed.
One point to note as it took ages for my hubby to realise, if you hit quick start and then use the dial to increase the time this saves a lot of time rather than doing the full time with the buttons
Colour is darker than the picture
The grey is a very dark grey and the wood is alot darker than in the picture.
Other than that this is a lovely little microwave, i have had a similar russell hobbs one in white previously that lasted well.
Good microwave with small problem
Good looking, cheap, low powr microwave. No problems with heating function.
One unexpected issue: the LED display on the front of the machine makes a very small noise when on. Because the clock divider flashes every second, the noise goes on and off constantly when the clock is on. It’s an almost inaudible buzzing, but if you’re sitting in the same quiet room as it, it’s enough to be irritating.
Prettiest microwave ever and it works too!
Looks absolutely great! And works like a dream. Best microwave we’ve ever had. Only downside is I find it a bit noisy but perhaps no worse than other microwaves, hard to tell. Love it though.
Cute and potent for it's size (but I'd go with the digital one next time)
This microwave is really cute and surprisingly potent for it’s size. It seems to to a better job of heating the center of things like soups or stews than previous microwaves I have owned, despite being smaller. That was a pleasant surprise. It’s quite compact so it’s ideal for kitchens with limited space. The front is really nice looking–practically like a mirror. I can’t really speak to how well it does for cooking things because I only use the microwave for reheating food, not cooking. For reheating, it’s fine.
One thing to note is that I went with the manual one because I thought the knobs looked nicer, but in after having used it, I would recommend the digital one instead because I think it probably allows a lot better precision in terms of setting time. The knob isn’t very accurate and you cant specify the time nearly as well. That aside, it’s been a great purchase.
Great little microwave. Easy to use and clean. Looks really good. The wood effect is soft to the touch and if you fancy a “ping” at the end of use, then choose the manual version. 700 W is more than enough for my use though you may want a more powerful version for heavier use.
Ok. So I saw this, and loved it. Which I’m guessing, most of you did. It’s very aesthetically pleasing. It doesn’t disappoint in the flesh either. It looks beautiful in my kitchen and oddly gets compliments? Ok SO, it looks great but performance is……also great. Has a nice white light in it, as opposed to the warm yellowish ones. It’s quiet when running and loud when done. Handy if you go in the other room, deafening if you don’t lol. I love it all so much! AND for like 50! This is when alarm bells started ringing. Something isn’t right here…and this is why I begrudge the perfect review…
Because, I’m a moron and didn’t notice it was 700w! Omg, it takes ages to do anything. I’m sure the one before it was like 1000+. So, basically the product is listed perfectly and I’m an idiot. If you are in the market for a **700W** microwave, this is perfection. Can you please make me a bespoke 1000w one? Thanks 🙂

This is a great easy to use compact microwave, simple is great, does the job it’s designed for and easy to clean, easy to fit in without taking up too much space, I love it.
Great, can’t go wrong
Lovely looking microwave that really blends in well with a nice scandi modern kitchen. Easy to use, lovely finish. No fuss no frills works great, love the rubbery handle too it feels really nice.
This microwave only arrived today, but I’m pretty pleased so far. I have a very small kitchen so have lived without a microwave for about ten years, but my oven has broken down and can’t be repaired at the moment due to covid restrictions, so I finally decided it was time. My criteria was something small enough to fit, functional and inexpensive. This fits the bill, and looks pretty good, though it’s not perfect: in wiping down the microwave before using it, I’ve already wiped off the word “power” from above the first dial.. I didn’t think I’d been that heavy handed with the damp cloth, but maybe I don’t know my own strength?!
It’s not silent but doesn’t “sound like a tractor” as one other reviewer phrased it.
As others have mentioned, the colour of the “wood” is darker in real life than it appears in the photos.
Overall, it’s a neat little machine that fits in with my kitchen better than I had hoped.
Stylish & Easy to Use
Utterly stylish: love the dark mirror front, the rubber wooden dials and handle make this look very expensive. Idiot proof to use. Couldn’t be happier with it abd if you’re looking for retro style, look no further.
Looks good and does job OK
It’s slightly underpowered, even for a 700W microwave. It cooks all my regular things fine, just have to add a little more time.
I like the look of it. The only problem is the two knobs are slightly too designer, rather than practical. The shallow groove to indicate which setting has been chosen is so subtle it’s almost impossible to see. I cut narrow strips of masking tape and stuck those over the indicator lines to make it easy to see what settings it’s on.

Never thought I could love a microwave the way I do with this one! It’s lovely to look at, feels sturdy and not cheaply made, it arrived quickly and was perfectly packaged. 5 star for sure from me 🙂
Great for what it is
Great little microwave and highly complementary to a wooden top kitchen. I do miss the addition of a clock though but if you’re looking for a simple manual microwave I’d say look no further.

Good looking machine, limited door opening so a bit tricky to get the plate out in a limited space, but probably no different than other machines. Heats food well, with straight forward controls .
Lovely microwave
Lovely microwave just what I was looking for east and simple to use. The only downside the sticker above knobs when peeling off leaves the sticky residue which is hard to get off…so a tip to anyone buying this put a little bit of peanut butter on a damp cloth and it comes right off..
Faulty
Product became extremely hot after first uses on Christmas Day, product then stopped working, as if it had overheated. Same thing happened twice, Amazon refunded, not sure what was going on with this.
Spotted a similar looking one on bake-off and liked the design. Considering my other half didn’t want a microwave, he liked the look of it too and we got one! Looks very nice in our kitchen and nice and easy to use so far. Only used the main setting but comes with defrost and other settings too
Stylish
It’s really nice looking, delivered promptly, does the job and not too bulky. Apparently if you cook for under a minute you need to turn the time dial to 2 mins and then back down to the desired time which is an unexpected quirk.

I bought 2 of these, one for myself and one as a house warming gift. Great little microwave. The wood effect gives it a nice touch. Really easy to use. Be good to see them in different colour wood effects.
I really like this M/Oven. Fits perfectly with my newly painted kitchen. very basic manual model, no pre programmes which is what I wanted so if you like to use yours a lot for cooking this may not be enough for you. I only use to occasionally reheat. The wood effect is about 2 shades darker than in the advertised image, but great quality product !! 5 Star!!
