Bought as a wine cooler but on arrival- this is a fridge. Traditional cooling and therefore a bit noisy. My fault for not checking further. nevertheless we will keep it as it looks good and works. Temp control is “old-fashioned” dial therefore will take time to set to reqd. temp.

It’s built well and works fine. If you’re looking for a good quality mini fridge then this is as cheap as you will want to go.

I like the style and design perfect for what I bought it for. Nothing to dislike at all. Temp easy to control and keeps everything lovely and cold as we like and need.

Definitely not as countertop as I expected!

Larger than it looks in the images, but considering the amount of space in the fridge, not sure what I was expecting! Great little fridge, with plenty space to keep wine and other drinks cool — meaning you still have plenty space in your food fridge!

Very well built, and easy to use. I like the fact it has a lock and key as well keeping it safe from smaller kids, or people just looking to steal your wine! It is also fairly attractive so you wouldn’t mind having it on display.

i got this to replace an older fridge i had. That was fine, except the ice making compartment kept icing up and that was becoming a pain

This russell hobbs version wont have that problem. I primarily use it to keep soft drinks on the upper floor so that we dont have to go trooping downstairs to get them.

The look is pretty sleek and you can fit quite a few cans in there. But because this is primarily for wine bottles and beer. you do have to get a little creative to fit the smaller cans in without them rolling around

The reason I’ve knocked a star off is that when the compressor comes on there is a weird sharp sound which I’m not sure is meant to sound like that

It hasn’t stopped the cooler working, but was startling the first couple of days

Price wise id say this is pretty well in the middle of the range

Came packed in a box and secured properly. A bit tricky to carry to upper flat as mine as the packaging was a bit on a heavy side. Design is simple, cooler looks sleek and super smart, comes in black colour, which suits my kitchen design and other supplies I have got in the kitchen already. Instructions are easy to understand and straightforward. It is explained nicely how to place and connect the small fridge and how much space you supposed to leave from the wall behind, or above the fridge. Capacity is amazing- can take 12 bottles of wine or up to 38 cans of drink. Has a lock system, which in my case I don’t particularly need but I am sure this will be useful for family with older children or so. Temperature can be set up from 5 to 18 degrees, perfect for rose, white or red. This is a great space saver especially if you like to organise parties, bbq and so on. Price seems to be a bit high but compare to the quality of this product I don’t mind it at all- definitely worth its price. I would fully recommend.

Russell Hobbs Table Top Wine & Drinks Cooler with Lock & Key

I have placed this wine cooler in my outhouse. It looks lovely, well constructed, but It is a shame it doesn’t have an interior light. Still, I am ok with that, not a big issue because I have a sensor light in the house if I want quickly grab the drink at night.

It’s heavy, smaller than my previous cooler, but the internal space is quite ample. The cooler I had before ( from a different brand ) was very noisy. This machine was a bit noisy when I start it up the first time, but it runs reasonably quiet after one hour.

I like the lock on door idea, the safety feature if you have small children in the house, and the reversible door is another excellent feature.

I am using it for nearly a month now, so far I don’t have any issue, and I am pleased with the performance—worth extra money.

I hope this review is helpful for you to make a purchasing decision.

Very nice design, very stylish and modern. It is a shame not being able to choose a different colour.
My furniture is mainly white but I could take this cooler only in black. It would have been nice to have a white one.

The temperature range goes from 5 to 18C. In this case, suitable for red or white wines. Of course, you would need to choose whether to put all white or red wines as you need to set the right temperature for one or the other. Other than wine, this cooler is suitable for other drinks like beer or any other type of drink. Suitable for around 12 bottles of wine, around 30-38 cans of beer.

I have two children, I was very happy to find out it has a lock and a key system so I am able to lock it and avoid children to access it.

The size is quite small. It is quite surprising so many bottles fit in there, but the weight is quite high, it is about 20 kgs. I was thinking to put it on to of my sideboard but decided to leave it on the floor as I was worried it would have damaged the sideboard.

It has removable racks. This allows anything you need (not only wine bottles or beers) to be put in the cooler.

And also it has a reversing door which I did not need personally but can be very useful for whoever needs to put the cooler in a position where they prefer opening the door on the opposite side.

The price is a bit high but considering the quality, I am quite satisfied overall, therefore I would recommend.

This is quite an odd size for a drinks cooler. Its too big to go on the kitchen countertops becuase its too tall to fit underneath the wall cupboards, yet it is too small to go on the floor. I have ended up putting mine on top of my freezer.

Its heavy, it weighs 20kg so its not easy to move around so find a place with the intention of keeping it there. It is much louder than i thought it was going to be to be honest, but it does keep drinks cold. I also plan on keeping my chocolate stash in there during the summer.

Being able to free up space within my main fridge was an absolute game changer – I’ve managed to free up so much space. We regularly purchase wine and alcoholic drinks, we dedicate a space on the main fridge for these, the Russel Hobbs table top win and drinks cooler is suitable for around 12 bottles of wine, around 30-38 cans of beer.

Upon receiving the fridge, we plugged it in – it sounded a little loud at first but this was expected as the item has been in storage and needed to get to temperature, it didn’t take long at all surprisingly and within a few hours we were able to start adding drinks. The fridge on the front has a lock and key system which means you can secure the fridge, and keep children out – a nice feature and will come in handy. (I’m keeping my chocolate in the fridge also!)

I like the design of the fridge, I received the black option – it looks really sleek and smart looking; the glass front allows you to easily and quickly see inside the fridge. Due to the size of this wine cooler/beer fridge, it’s suitable for storing on the counter top or inside a cupboard – it’s discrete and can be easily moved, it’s really convenient. This would be great for a caravan or someone who wants a fridge in a small space. The slide out shelf feature sallows you to easily find your favourite drinks/snacks.

This fridge is excellent value for money in my opinion, it’s a great size, 46L allows you to store plenty of goodies within it – I like the design, it’s great quality and certainly does the job. Highly recommended, would recommend to family and friends.

This wine cooler is well made, strong and looks good. I bought a non brand wine cooler a couple of years ago, very similar is size and it was one of those buys I regretted – too noisy, didn’t fit in the amount of bottles it said it could and far too bulky for the actual volume.
This Russell Hobbs wine cooler is completely different. Good sizes capacity – 46L but not too bulky. Initially it was a bit noisy when I first turned it on but within half an hour the cooler had reached it’s cooling cycle and just became a quiet hum. Good range of temperature with the adjustable thermostat dial at the back of the cooler. My first thought about the dial being at the back was it might be a bit awkward to get to but it’s not and the cooler looks better without it in the actual body.
My only niggle and I have knocked off a star which might seem a bit harsh is there’s no internal light. I know you don’t really need it because you can clearly see what you have, with a glass door. I just would like a light to come on when you open the door especially if you kept this in a garage/shed or where lighting isn’t the best – it would be good just to open the door and a small top light illuminated the contents. Its just a preference but not necessary. A big plus is the cooler is lockable, comes with 2 keys.
Overall a very good cooler that looks sleek.

    Works well

I now have more room in my fridge as I can chill my wine in this so the family are happy they don’t have to squeeze all their food in now and I am happy because I have a dedicated frisge for wine. The machine is great. It’s compact and most of the size of it is for storage of your beverages. There is no back bulky motors and can fit flush to the wall. I have out ours in the utlity room on top of the counter but it could go on the floor I suppose.

You can use it for wine and there are racks in it to support the bottles but you can also remove these and use it for anything that needs chilling like bottles of pop, cans and soda. I love the glass front because you can see whats in the fridge without even opening it. The lock system is great to keep your drinks secure if you have teenagers in the house , you know what it is like. Nice large interior, I have even put some snacks in there so it’s like a mini bar.It chills to 5 degrees. I am impressed how quiet it is, you hear the compressor kick in now and again but most of the time it’s silent. The door also opens wide which helps accessing the drinks and restocking the fridge. Very happy with the build quality, performance and look of it. Also low energy use makes it a great buy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve always wanted a wine chiller integrated in to the kitchen and this is certainly the next best thing and perfect for freeing up room in my fridge. I’ve placed it in my utility and it looks really smart. Firstly this is really heavy so definitely need two people to lift in to position. I’ve found it to be generally quiet but when the compressor kicks in on its cycle you do hear a click and a bit of a rumbling but it lasts less than 10 minutes.
The appliance comes with two keys and locks easily from the front – not sure we’ll use this feature as were constantly in and out but could be handy with young children around. The wine holder and shelf can be moved around to suit inside but we found the original set up works best as shown for holding the 12 bottles of wine. Also worth to mention that the doors can be reversed to suit. External dimensions (H x W x D) 513mm x 430mm x 480mm.
It’s recommend to leave 5cm between next to cabinets and a 30cm clearance above and 6cm away from the back wall to allow adequate ventilation. We’ve filled with wine, cans of pop and bottles of beer for the time being and it’s brill. Looking forward to when we can have parties and people round again and not struggling for space in the fridge to keep drinks cool.
    Would recommend.

    Good looking drinks coole
