Ryobi EMS190DC 18V ONE+ Cordless Mitre Saw (Body Only)
The Ryobi EMS190DC delivers powerful 18V performance with the convenience of cordless. The 190mm 24TCT blade cuts up to 38 x 108mm at 90° in wood. Pre-select mitre angles from 0-45° and a 0-45° bevel give greater cut versatility, while the compact and lightweight design provide great portability.
This EMS190DCL is sold as a ‘bare’ tool (without a battery or charger) but is compatible with all batteries and chargers across the 18V ONE+ system.

Really great tool, cuts really well built loads of raised beds
If you are invested in the Ryobi One+ Line and need a small mitre saw, get this. I currently have 3 mitre saws I like to use for different jobs. I purchased this as a small portable saw for framing and cutting cladding, this it does perfectly! I had to set up the fence when new (as you do with most saws) but the angle cuts are bang on 45 degrees on the stop. It cuts accurately.
It’s not a powerful saw but it will chomp its way through CLS with no problem even on a 45. It’s light and easy to move around and pack away. It feels well-made and solid and Batteries last well.
I’ve not cut any hardwood with it and don’t plan on. I have a bench mounted for that but I am happy in the knowledge that if I needed to I could use the Ryobi as a backup for a short time and it would do what I needed it to.
Honestly, I am really pleased with this, especially for the price. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a saw for the same reasons I was (above) an amazing little saw that I would purchase again if it broke tomorrow.
For a small mite saw it is value for money. It cuts are accurate. Worth the spend
Very light, with a 5ah battery I used it all day. Still 4 bars on the battery. Only cutting battens, but still. Thumbs-up.
I won’t lie, I was sceptical that a saw of this size would perform via battery power but it’s worked brilliantly so far.
I actually forgot to charge a battery and so used the partially drained 2.0ah battery from my drill. Surprisingly, it ran absolutely fine whilst trimming down some Venetian blinds and cutting some skirting board.
Easy to set up, easy to use, well built, and nice cuts.
Perfect for home DIYers with existing ONE+ batteries.
Always uses Ryobi tools. This mitre tool is good. Mitres, bevels, straight cuts no probs. Separate garage to apartment so no power. Hence battery mitre. If you want wider than 7_8 cm cuts go for the sliding mitre.
just keep adding to the collection im addicted to ryobi..!! the price is high for what this saw does

Its such a small saw ,but do the job perfectly. I was dropped from 2m. And still work perfect. Very accurate and light. Perfect for skirting ,architraves and decking. I use attachment for makita and dewalt batteries ,no problems at all.
Always wanted a good quality mitre saw and having moved and now having my own dedicated workshop, this Ryobi saw just had to join my other Ryobi products to make my woodworking experience even more productive. I have used it almost daily since become a dedicated Pallet engineer, having already made a mud kitchen and raised beds for our vegie patch. Next in line will be a couple of vertical strawberry planters and a patio bar for those days when the sun is shining.

Saw works well, but batteries don’t last that long really, well definitely need two batteries at least if u intend on buying this saw. Cuts well tho & I’m pleased with my purchase…

A great addition for portable moderate cutting (e.g. trim, skirting, etc). Totally agree with the comments about using the Dewalt blade.

Good battery life cuts well a must have in one plus Ryobi range. Great value for money if you already have 4-5mah one plus batteries.

A small well made portable machine which works well in confined spaces, small rooms, hallways, conservatories etc without the need of trailing mains cables. Obviously you need to be locked into the Ryobi 18v system otherwise this could be a further big expense to power it.

Having this run on a battery ( not included ) no dangling leads makes it a better and safe way to use this tool
Ease of use – very easy.
Included blade – reasonably good general purpose. Suggest swapping out though. as a Dewalt DT10303-QZ Framing Blade is far better with wood.
Issues noticed after a week:
Accuracy – it’s not bang on in alignment at default zero, blade is out. Which means it’s 1-2 degrees out at 45 also. I’ve made a jig to help compensate for it.
No pre-drilled fence holes. This is really annoying.
Blade removal was difficult the first time. It’s not only opposite of what you expect it took a huge amount of force to get it turning.
Over all – I’m reasonably happy as this is very portable and the quality is there. I can get about 80 cuts out of a 4AH battery if taking my time, possibly more (didn’t top it up before starting).
