Easy to use, filled the crack on my antique chest of drawers brilliantly!
Really does the job I needed it for it really makes the rough smooth
and inexpensive if you already have the batteries. Coped well with everything i have throw at it so far. the dust collection is great- but the bag is a pain to wash out. Coped well with sanding and sheepskin mop polishing
I wanted a sander to attach to my existing batteries. Has proved to be very useful but have yet to use in anger.

his sander is much bigger than you would expect. Which means it will cover the surface area more quickly. No pressure needed to get a fantastic finish due to design and heavy weight of it. Sands anything with ease. One of my favourite tools from ryobi
I’m using this with Ryobi 4amH batteries and getting 30 minutes on a charge. Great power and sucks up a surprising amount of the dust also.
the biggest issue is it starts to feel heavy in the hand if you use it for a full charge – a small complaint.
Purchased to sand down an old table, very pleased with the performance, easy to handle and build quality is superb as expected from Ryobi.
Run time on a 1.5AH battery is <10 minutes, I have two in rotation which is okay if you're not in a hurry (charge time is 40 mins) but if you've got any big projects would be worth getting a 4AH battery or higher.

Das Ryobi Schleifgert ist Top. Wie man es von Ryobi gewohnt ist. Der einzige Punktabzug gilt der Beschreibung. Im Lieferumfang sind falsche Anzahl und Strke der Schleifpapierbltter angegeben. Es sind tatschlich nur 3 Bltter im Lieferumfang enthalten. 1x80er, 1x120er und 1x 240.
Sanding plate rotates as well as vibrates, which seems to make the movement experienced by the user less intense. Also, seems to give a smoother finish – far fewer of those little ground in circles when a tool is less random-orbit than suggested. Vibration is significantly less than the little delta sander by Ryobi.
Battery life isn’t bad at all with a 5Ah battery.
The dust extractor actually seems to work – it’s not perfect by any means but WAY more dust comes out of the built in exhaust than I expected, which in turn means cleaner work, less dust to breathe in etc.

Utiliser avec une batterie 5 ah, l’autonomie est de 35-40 min avant d’tre plat compltement.
Quelques batteries d’avance ne seront pas de trop.
La ponceuse fait son boulot convenablement ceci dit je la trouve un peu lourde et on hte de la poser.
L’aspiration fonctionne moyennement bien c’est dire la moiti dedans l’autre au sol…
Je la recommande pour un usage occasionnel pour un particulier. L’autre avantage c’est qu’elle est compatible avec toutes les batteries ryobi one plus 18v.

An excellent tool which exceeded all expectations. I have used it on two major projects. The refurbishment of a classic wooden dinghy and the removal of anti foul and abrading the hull prior to undercoating of a 38ft boat.

Habe den Schleifer als Erweiterung zu meinen restlichen Ryobi-Gerten gekauft. Macht was er soll und reicht fr meine Zwecke (gelegentliches abschleifen von Tischen oder anderem Holz) vollkommen aus.
Well, seven ball-busting years later I’m still using the said same drill/drivers and of the three battery power packs I bought initially two are still going strong despite having been near beaten to death and charge literally hundreds of times. I am utterly amazed at how good they have been and because of that have instead of replacing Ryobi instead I have bought more. Much more. And they have become better and better.
Which brings me to this palm sized sander which, is absolutely excellent. Really. The plastic despite being having a colour chosen by a blind man is properly high quality with a solid robust feel to it. I suspect it might be PA6 which is a fibre reinforced plastic used by better quality brands.
Speaking of which Ryobi is owned by Tecktronic Industries of Hong Kong. Who also own AEG and Milwaukee tools as well. Now, you are not telling me that in their factory they are making three entirely different sets of power tool electro-mechanicals. I’ve used just about every major brand out there as an engineer and I’m pretty sure that the main difference between my Ryobi and Milwaukee is the colour of the plastic case…
Anyway, bottom line is that I honestly think that Ryobi is a genuine alternative to the likes of DeWalt, Milwaukee and Bosch (pro – the DIY range is junk). Not quite up there with Makita but not that far off.
Now in use this sander is superb. When comparing it to a mains powered version – I have three others from different manufacturers – this is just as good but has the benefit of no cord. It has loads of power and easily sanded for test purposes a bit of white kiln dried oak I had lying about in my workshop.
Noise is lower than my mains powered sanders which is a nice bonus but, most of all the dust collection is better. Properly good for an add on bag type. Of course using a vacuum is even better and the location of the air outlet on this makes fitting and using a vac easy.
Overall a superb cordless sander and highly recommended if you are a user of the Ryobi One+ batteries. And a quick reminder that this is a bare tool so factor in another fifty or sixty quid if you don’t have any.
Bought this to replace my old blue Ryobi 1+ orbital sander that the wife broke after years of loyal use, this modern version is much more comfortable to use and doesn’t transmit so much vibration to your hands when in use, so well recommended, the dust collection system and tubular bag works well
I already had several Ryobi tools, and have been very happy with them, they are fantastic value for money
Eats through battery like a demon. But it’s a decent sander. Easy to use and gives good results. Cordless is the way forward for sure.

Portable, easy to handle and fast removal of wood stain to bare wood. Also good for fine finishing.
This is an effective sander but the cut is not effectively captured in the dust big which is a major disappointment. The claimed 80% dust capture was unachievable – more like 10-20% making the job far more messy than anticipated.
Works exactly as it should do. Don’t know how long a 5Ah battery lasts for yet as all of my jobs have been for less than that so fa

Another great tool from Ryobi. Decided to by this for some garden furniture renovation bas my 10 yr old Ryobi corded sander decided to go wrong. I can honestly say I wasn’t disappointed. It’s lightweight and very comfortable to use. Does a great job of sanding with the right sanding sheets. Obviously it won’t get right into corners being it’s round. By great for everywhere else.
My only real gripe is Ryobi state approximately 45 minutes run time with a 6Ah battery. That’s being over generous, I have 2 6Ah batteries and only managed to get about 30 minutes out of each. So if you are going to purchase this tool it’s worth having 6Ah batteries at least 2 with a fast charger to keep you going if you are going to be doing a lot of sanding.
All in all well worth the money.

If you have the One+ battery system already and are after a cordless orbital sander then this is a fantastic option. However it is a bit underpowered compared to a branded corded option which can be picked up for a similar price.
I suspect a cordless one from a brand might have a bit more power at the same price point.
It’s very subjective to determine ‘Value for money’ so make your own assessment, but it is simple to use, easy to hold, very effective on the few jobs where I have used it so far. HOWEVER my small batteries (can’t remember what they are 1.5 or 1.8AH) proved to be naff with this sander and quickly became flat. Get a 4AmpHour battery or one of the 5AH batteries. I’m using a non-Ryobi compatible and it works fine, so far.
Works very well with any velcro sand paper.

Works well but the dust just goes through the bag and into the room. Covered the tool and battery with dust. That’s the only downsides. If you don’t have other tools from the eco system I’d look elsewhere. If you do then this is a great addition to the collection.
Eine Drehzahlregelung fehlt bei diesem Gert, vermisse ich aber auch nicht.
Die ersten Oberflchen konnte ich schon fein glatt schleifen. Die Staubaufnahme ist gut.
Es werden ein paar Schleifpapierscheiben mitgeliefert, habe mir aber gleich noch 125mm Rundschleifpapier bestellt, das passt auch von der Lochung.
Der Tisch auch auf dem Bild WAR Rot lackiert.
Die Maschine ist sehr einfah in der Handhabung durch das geringe Gewicht.Mit den richtigen Schleiftellern ist die ntige Arbeit schnell erledigt.Mit der intrgrierten Staubabsaugung bleibt das Umfeld im Arbeitsbereich staubfrei.Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhltnis und daher sehr zu empfehlen.
Good power and finish for a cordless, drains batteries quickly though and dust collection not great.
Great sander. Works with my Royobi battery set and replaced my old sander of 6 years. Worked hard on my first project and gave an even finish.
Bei dem Preis sind zwar weder Akku noch Ladegert inbegriffen, da ich aber schon einige Ryobi Teile habe, kann man das gut kombinieren. Sehr empfehlenswerte Schleifmaschine fr den Hausgebrauch.
Ich habe die Schleifmaschine mittlerweile fters benutzt, und bin echt begeistert. Auf jeden fall weiter zu empfehlen. Ich wrde jedoch zwei Akkus empfehlen da diese bei Dauer Benutzung echt schnell leer gehen.
Akku etwas zu teuer. Wer bereits im System ist sollte zugreifen. Ein wirklich bessere Maschine aus dem professionellen Lager kostet inkl Akku ein Vielfaches…
Very comfortable to use and performed well. After about two hours of almost continuous use the 4.0aH battery still showed 50% charge left. Pads are easy to change and dust bag means that it produces very little mess.

Massive Ryobi fan, this sander is perfect, couldn’t recommend enough.
This is good. Sands very well, nicely balanced and well made. I have used Ryobi for 20 years and still use all of my original blue tools. Highly recommended.

Top Schleifer. Sehr gute schleifergebnisse. Praktisch mit dem Akku, kein kabelgewirr mehr. Habe schon mehrere Produkte mit Akku von Ryobi.

This is my fourth Ryobi one+ product. Extremely good value for the keen DIY person. Not sure how good they would be for commercial use but judging by how much use i give them they would probably cope well.

Funciona perfectamente. Noto que tiene algo de menos potencia comparada con la que tengo de cable, pero nada importante. Comodidad absoluta. Adems es bastante silenciosa teniendo en cuenta que se trata de una lijadora….

– le ponage est efficace (test sur un vieux morceau de palette non rabot avec le grain 80.
– l’aspiration est efficace et rien ne sort du sac. J’estime qu’environ 95% des poussires sont aspires (en comparant ce qui reste sur mon plan de travail au gros tas que j’ai sorti du sac).
– la tenue en main ( 1 ou 2 mains) est excellente.
– le manchon se retire trs facilement pour vider la poussire mais reste bien arrim la machine lors du ponage.
– le disque est particulirement bien fix (il en est presque difficile retirer)
– les vibrations sont bien contenues (attention, j’ai ponc 5 minutes, donc… relativiser et voir lors d’un usage plus intensif)

My husband loved this another one towards his Ryobi collection.
Er Liegt suer in der Hand und auch lngeres arbeiten fhrt nicht dazu das dir die Hnde einschlafen. Mit einem 2,5 Ah Akku schafft man ca 20 min zu schleifen. Grade im berkopf Bereich ist das denn auch die grenze bis zur pause. Mit dem 4 Ah Akku schafft man ca 40-45 min und hat er grade zu Anfang auch mehr dampf.,
Ich habe fast 6 Std am Stck damit gearbeitet und bin mit 5x 2,5Ah und 1x 4Ah Akku gut ausgekommen. Jeder der mehr Ryobi gerate hat weiss auch was das One Plus bringt.
Immer wieder zu empfehlen.

Va de lujo. Tengo una mquina orbital del mismo tamao pero esta tiene la comodidad de poder moverte sin cables. Lujo bastante y con la batera de 4 mA va genia. Dura unos 30 min continuos
De plus Le petit tube poussire est penible vider totalement.
Habe damit meine Kche abgeschliffen was tadellos funktioniert hat.
Man sollte aber genug Akkus zur Hand haben oder zumindest einen mit groer Kapazitt sonst muss man nach ca 30 Minuten eine
Zwangspause einlegen.
Den Staubfilter empfinde ich als weniger gelungen, da trotz allem viel Staub in die Umgebung abgegeben wird. Auch das
ausschtteln des Filters erweist sich als umstndlich da viel Staub zurck bleibt
Lautstrke geht in Ordnung, ist nun mal ein Schleifer

Les assemblages sont de qualit et les matriaux utiliss sont robustes. La prise en main est agrable, y compris en usage vertical malgr le poid de la batterie.
avec une batterie 4Ah, ce sont les disques (taille standard) que j’ai d changer le plus souvent ! j’ai t impressionn la par la puissance de cette petite ponceuse. J’ai pu poncer avec de gros grain et en appuyant assez fort pendant pas loin d’1h en continue avec la batterie 4Ah. Aucune ide de sa dure de vie avec un usage intensif, mais pour le prix et pour les bons bricoleurs, elle est amplement suffisante.
le concept Ryobi One+ me plait beaucoup = 2-3 accus, divers outils, plus de contrainte de fil.
j’ai remplac ma perceuse sans fil, je regarde la scie sauteuse et le petit compresseur. La puissance du petit perforateur me laisse envisager d’autres travaux venir.
