Does the job, looks nice, sturdy and secure but squeaks every time someone moves! Which is irritating but not a massive deal when the product is good.
Sturdy and good quality. Good length of coverage on the side of the bed. Kept my daughter safe when she broke her ankle and couldn’t get out of bed without support.
Easy to put together and fit on the base of the bed. Won’t stop a child getting out of bed but does stop the child from rolling out.
Easy to put together. Stopped my toddler from falling out of the bed whilst leaving her able to get in and out by herself. Cable tied it to the frame, so it could withstand all kinds of abuse that a toddler may throw at it.

This is great. No assembly needed simply folds out. Very easy to slide under the mattress and instant protection from your child rolling out of the bed.

We built a fixed to the wall high bed in our spare room. This rail was ideal to make sure that anyone that slept in the bed wouldn’t fall out. Great product easy to fit to the bed and very sturdy

Husband assembled this but it seemed quick and easy to do. We’ve taken it on holiday and used at grandparents houses. It is sturdy to a degree but because it’s collapsible it does wobble and bend when pulled towards you, so wouldn’t want a child standing up and rocking i

It took me 5 mins to install on IKEA bed. Very sturdy and safe, the best looking bed rail I could find on the market, actually makes bed look nicer. Only minor downside is that by law the maker is obliged to impress warning safety notice on visible side.
Really pleased with this side rails. I would recommend getting the extra wide and extra long as when you have a climber it is worth having something safe. The only thing is that it does move backwards and forwards when rocked (as children do) even though we have it screwed to the bed like recommended. Otherwise I am really pleased with this purchase.
Bought for grandson as he didn’t like his other bed guard as he said it was for babies and he is 6 now
The bed side is easy to fit and matches his bed and ideal for him as he has a disability and often fell out of bed
Overall good, although the sturdiness of the side could be better, I only use mine at night time when child asleep, wouldn’t trust it if child was full in leaning against it (bit wobbly)

It is expensive but well worth the money
It was for an adults bed because we were suffering from condensation and had to move the bed away from the wall and this was ideal to keep bedding etc. falling off the side also the grey colour matches perfectly with the grey walls it looks really nice.
I’m very pleased with the bed guard, made of solid wood, very sturdy and super easy to install. Also looks great unlike the fabric ones. Baby is safe and cosy, a fantastic product!

We are currently using this on our toddlers bed Ikea Hemnes Day Bed, it does the job perfectly and looks nice too, simple product but does everything in needs to.
Is a bit of a shame the warning text is rather bold on the outside when in use.

Speedy delivery and a sturdy rail. It’s shame that the top part of the frame isn’t as smooth as the sides or the bars. It was almost like they forgot to polish part up.
Nice looking product suits out white bed really nicely for our little girl.
My only gripe with it is the warning labels are all on the outside of the guard so always visible.
Would be better if these were up against the mattress.
This is a great length. It’s sturdy and you have the options to screw it to the bed which is what we have done to achieve the height and rigidity we wanted. We were surprised how our toddler did not climb out of bed at night despite the fact she could have done so easily. Would recommend for any appropriate toddler bed.
This is not portable so for travelling you should buy a foldable portable bed guard.

This bed guard is fabulous. I have installed it on the lower bunk bed for our 18 month old and it is solid.
Easy to assemble with two screws that are included. The bed guard also comes with two locking plates that are screwed into the wooden bed slats for extra protection.
Highly recommend this product!
Looks great with my mamas and papas ivory toddler bed. It does lift the mattress a bit but I tested it out myself and you can’t feel the wood underneath a sprung mattress at all! It’s definitely worth paying that little bit extra.

There is no oil or wax on the wood surface, which I think is perfect, but some may what to know that.
Easy to put up but had to use our own larger screws. It came with tiny screws that wouldn’t hold anything in place, similar issue with the stair gates. Black writing on outside which is annoying also. But it’s safe, looks smart and overall happy. Just make sure you have your own screws!

Just what I needed for a 18 month old who loves a big bed. As the bottom goes under the mattress she is unable to move the cot side. Very sturdy would recommend this product.
This is a fantastic bed rail and fits my daughter’s cot bed perfectly. It has a gap at the bottom to allow her to climb in and out easily but not fall out at night. It looks so much nicer than some of the fabric ones available and is much sturdier. My daughter ripped a fabric one within a week of it being on the bed. It’s a nice height and secures to the bed easily. Very easy to assemble as it simply folds down and then you can secure it to the base of the bed. It literally took less than five minutes to put on, we were very very impressed! Highly recommend! Fast delivery and worth every penny!
Happy with this. Attached it to IKEA Hemnes day bed for our toddler. It’s a fairly thin mattress so as an adult you can feel the base of the wooden rail through it, but our toddler is light enough to not feel it. It feels sturdy and is working well so far.
The bed rail came easy to assemble and fit to the bed. Its solid wood and feels very sturdy so have no worries about it breaking, it appears very good quality with a nice paint finish and does the job it says perfectly.
I bought this to prevent my granddaughter from roll off my bed when she comes to overnight, it works perfectly – she even suggested I put a blanket over it so it’s soft against her skin and I do
Reasonably sturdy and looks good but the locking bolts required to set the thing up are quite a poor fit and difficult to install, there are only 2 of them though! Great once it’s installed though.
This came in good time and is of good quality. It looks good on my son’s white toddler bed. It’s main drawback is that if you want to take it places with you you have to use the Alan key to take it apart and put back together again, which is a bit of extra time and another thing to remember.
Perfect size for a single bed, helped my son transition to his single bed as ‘it’s the same as my cot but bigger’ so he was more than happy to sleep in his new bed.
It also looks like it is part of his bed so it looks really nice.
Is nice and sturdy, I don’t put my weight on it when I kiss him goodnight, although other people (grandparents) don’t realise it’s not part of the bed and lean on it and it is still totally fine.
The paint is fairly thinly applied so we did touch it up a bit but it is perfect for the job. I know it suggests not for use on a top bunk however I modified it with secure bolts into the bed rungs and it is perfect. Looks good and just is a bit more peace of mind that our son will be safe.
Was a bit of a pain to work out how to put it together correctly but once it was figured out it was sorted quickly.
Bought this for our 3 year old on moving to share bunk beds with his older brother, and very pleased with the result, it fits well, is a good height/length to provide safety/security, and looks good. We also like the fact that whilst you can screw the fixings in to the bed, the guard works perfectly well without them and saves you the hassle! The colour of the guard also matched the wood of the bed we’d bought perfectly, which was a bonus. All in all we are very happy. The one criticism is that because the two ends of the guard do not sit flush with the bed slats, the base of the mattress bunches slightly at each end, but not so much that it is very obvious or noticeable when lying in the bed.
I have bought this product after returning a Babydan Wooden Bedrail which was a potential safety hazard. The screw came off the rail after 3 weeks’ use and as it is a pressed up screw, it could not be fixed. I am quite concerned as I found 2 year old daughter playing with it and she could have chocked on it if I did not see her on time. I am happy to say that the Safetots Bed rail does not have this issue as the screw is safely fixed in place and if it is loose, you can tighten it up. There were no instructions sent with the product and it was badly packaged but the product itself works. It could have been cheaper especially when you are also paying for postage.
