The Safetots Self Closing Pressure Fit gate is installed by simply twisting the handwheels to apply the pressure. No drilling of holes is required. After a few pain free minutes of installation, simply lift the handle to open the gate, walk through, and the gate will slowly close itself behind you. It really is that simple !!

The Safetots Pressure Fit Gate Range are available in a variety of colours as well as widths from as narrow as 61cm, up to over 3 metres.
Pressure fit baby gates do not require drilling any holes for installation. The pressure fit pads on the gates simply twist outwards until the correct pressure is applied for installation. All of the gates which are advertised by Safetots have passed the EN1930:2011 standards.

Seul bmol pour ma part ouverture que d’un cot ce qui n’est pas forcment pratique quand bebe est dans nos bras bruyante au moment de la fermeture cause de l’aimant.

Just narrow enough for our motorhome door to keep the kiddos in. Only one I could find in this size. Pretty funky in black! Recommended!

Good buy
Not the cheapest of gates but we needed a small one to fit on the cupboard under the stairs. We use it to keep our dogs in thier homemade bedroom under the stairs. Plus side is that because its small we took it with us on our caravan trip and we are able to keep our puppy out if the living area at night where there is carpet.
Great gate
Great gate for my sons room. It has a loud click sound when you close it but thats not an issue for us because he’s such a heavy sleeper . But it’s super sturdy and looks great!

Bought 1 before was complete and a really good gate purchased another and there is a bolt missing could I get another bolt sent out pls?

Cette barrire correspond parfaitement sa description, elle est trs bien conue, facile installer et son systme de portillon soulever est trs pratique.
Worked for us, no issues so far...
Picked this up after reading some of the various both good and bad, so far for us it had been a straight forward install. When it’s all fully tightened it does the job we want perfectly keeping our 1 year old out of the kitchen. Happy that it does the job we got it for. As with anything around a little one just make sure it is tightened and properly fitted before they get near it.

Bought this as a dog gate as have a 12 month old rottweiler and it is brilliant really sturdy

On ne pensait pas que cela fonctionnait. Qu il y avait peut tre un dfaut de fabrication car il y avait un grand espace entre les deux et que cela ne fermait pas. Mais sur le papier ils prcisent que l espace disparatra quand la porte sera bien serre. Et effectivement cela a fonctionnait. Photo avant et apres. Je reviens sur mon commentaire. Excellent produit impossible pour bb de l ouvrir. Il faut soulever la barrire et pousser le loquet.

Sturdy and easy to fi
A strong and heavy product. It was really easy to assemble. I fitted it with the Wall Nanny, they worked a treat together. This also gave me the option to change the gate opening. I would recommend this product 5 stars.

This is perfect for a slim opening from 61cm.
I have used this as a pet gate to convert understair cupboard for pup. No standard size would have fit this opening. This gate is definitely child proof too took a few lessons to learn my 12 & 10 year old to even open it!

Don’t have kids but I got three cats and the new one is not getting along with the residents cats. So I have to introduce them more slowly, than what we did with the first two. Flat is small so we needed something to fit in the hallway (standard sizes was way to big), this fits perfectly and the kitties can’t get through the gaps. Hopefully this helps. Will donate to my friend, with a new baby once we’re done. Perfect size, feels sturdy enough (happy it comes with screws in case it isn’t sturdy enough and definitely prefer that it’s black, rather than the gross looking white ones. Struggling to figure out how to open it but that’s exactly what you want, so your kid can’t figure it out either. Would suggest for people with small hallways.

Command spcialement pour ses dimensions rduites, la barrire est de qualit, trs solide et facile fixer.
Impossible pour le petit d’ouvrir… Le systme est d’ailleurs un peu difficile ouvrir : Il faut soulever fortement la porte pour ouvrir.

Fairly simple to put it together.. would have been better if it had metal nut instead of having plastic ones. Abit difficult to open the gate.. u have to press n then pull it up.. need strength to do tha

I can’t quite understand how many negative reviews there are! These were the only gates we could find narrow enough for our staircase and in black! We received the gates this morning, followed the instructions exactly how they’re written and we’ve got both gates installed in less than 20 minutes with no issues! Everything works perfectly and they seem really well made, I’ve marked them down a bit on sturdiness as they don’t feel totally solid but I think that’s a given with pressure fit gates? I’ll get my partner to check them over this evening to make sure I’ve got them tight enough, but overall they’re absolutely fine! No issues here!

Gate DOES self-close well but you MUST remove tiny plastic cube shaped piece at bottom of gate!
Love this gate – perfect for blocking off steps to garden for our puppy. Sturdy and well made and looks great!
Sturdy and stylish produc
Great product, stylish looking and easy to install. This has taken some beatings from my little boy and still it has stood the test of time. The latch once came out of place but it just needed adjusting. I would recommend this is checked and adjusted frequently. Easy to open and close when you are carrying a child up the stairs
sturdy and easy to install
This was very easy to install and has remained in place now for several months without shifting and without causing damage to the wall (it comes with protective cups for the wall, which help keep it from shifting). It’s tall enough to keep even the bouncy puppy in place, it closes securely and it’s a bit less industrial looking that some gates we’ve tried. Very pleased with it. Had to ring the company about an extra part, and they were also extremely helpful.

Je ne comprends pas un des commentaires mentionnant une fermeture par aimant, qui serait facile ouvrir pour un enfant en bas ge. Il faut dverouiller (sur le dessus) et en mme temps soulever la porte d’1 ou 2 cm (qui est plutt lourde) pour ouvrir. A mon avis, si un enfant peut ouvrir cette porte, il doit tre suffisamment g pour pouvoir utiliser l’escalier sans danger.
Pour fermer, c’est plus facile, pas besoin de soulever, juste dverouiller.
On peut changer facilement le sens d’ouverture une fois mont.

I instaled this gate as per the instructions and could not understand how it opened with just a 2mm gap. I then realised you have to lift the gate first before opening and it then opens easily. This is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions.
Cannot comment yet on its long term reliability but now using it properly i don’t see any reason for failure.

J’ai utilise cette barrire pour sparer certains de mes chiens car ils se bagarraient un peu.
Cette barriere est solide facile installer et facile d’emploi, en plus elle est aimante lorsqu’elle se referme on entend le petit CLIC.

Can’t comment on durability as we’ve only just got it but good stair gate – exactly as described. Had to read up about pressure gates before installation but the instructions were very clear. Love the Matt black finish.

what a brilliant company this is, from time order was placed to delivery was two days, item arrived in a very secure cardboard box protected well from any damage with good support inside the box.
. This item it is of first quality and the finish is the best you can get, and for the price all the large chain store’s could not sell me a better item, and most of all they would charge you more to purchase one.
My son’s baby daughter is very fast at 14 months and the stairs are somewhat a danger so this will stop her, as the narrow fit gate fits perfectly
