I love the versatility of this machine. I wish it had a key pad for just setting time for microwaving instead of having to punch the button over and over to increase time increment.
It's big. Like big big!
Having had and used it for over a month it’s a decent piece of kit. It feels, looks and works like it should for the price. It’s powerful so it’s fast and heats your food up quick. The many multiple options mean almost anything can be done. Tried cooking a whole chicken just to try and whilst it can be done, it does take a while.
Bargain, Very big inside, many features BUT not easy learning curve
Did not expect this to be very big ( good thing) It has so many features packed into one. However, the instructions are a tad big to difficult to understand and there is too many steps to take before you start it. Otherwise this purchase was great when its on sale.
Combi ove
Mainly used as a large microwave so havent had the chance to use other functions fully yet. Instruction book is fairly large and has to do downloaded which i.m not a fan of . Quite robust machine although i’m not convinced it will last the test of time as there appears to be steaming on one side of the screen already but we’re see
What a great combination oven. With many illustrated options on the screen, which are self-explanatory. I have cooked several dishes, using a combination of cooking methods, without even needing the instruction manual (which is still in a sealed bag). I think my favourite thing is the option to disable the turntable, with one easy press of a button.. Bought from Hughes Electrical, at an unbelievable price for the style, options and Samsung brand. Highly recommend both the combination microwave oven and the seller!
I bought this to replace a similar Combination Microwave Oven from the same brand. Previous one became useless when the start button stopped working.
This one has no number buttons despite a fair sized key pad so I fear the up / down buttons will get a lot of use. Max temp is only 200c (not 220-240) but it can prove dough make yoghurt and works well as combi oven and microwave. Easy to clean a
nd a good size. Hope it lasts!
Compact for the capacity
eplaced another 28l Samsung and went for this model as it had touch buttons and hopefully wouldn’t break / stop working. i did see on a review that someone had purchased this model and had very similar issues. I continued with my purchase dur to getting a great price for it. but did take out the added 3 year care which still meant it was really good value for money. so far easy to use but only used microwave functions so far. the only down side is if you up the up and down arrows for times it can be a little annoying – ive switched to just adding 30+ to save effo

Had this microwave since the start of august. Generally very happy with it. It’s easy to use and having a convection over built in is great. Only two issues:
1. There’s no way to tell if the oven is up to temperature
2. Max temperature is 200C, which isn’t hot enough for certain things. E.g. I find it great for part-baked baguettes but no good for pizza
I’ve found, like other reviewers have said, that the inside of the door steams up a bit, but it seems to clear by itself later on.
We had an 80s microwave that lasted 30 years but needed an up grade. So far I love this. Strong microwave, grill & convection oven are very handy instead of switching on main ove
Good points- fast, even cooking on convection. Powerful microwave, easy to use.
Bad points – Even after downloading the instruction manual, I had trouble with setting the timer. I have now found out that I need to press the Up button harder, and the time sets quickly. When I did not press hard enough, it only went up by 10 seconds at a time !
Overall, this was a good buy, particularly as it came at a much lower price from Amazon Warehouse.
Our last Samsung Microwave lasted 12 years before the controls stopped working. This one has more advanced features which are useful. All-in-all not a bad buy and we have come to trust Samsung products, TV’s Sound-systems, etc
I only got this a couple of days ago. I have baked, cooked and used the grill. And am impressed. The only thing you do need to increase the cook temperature of the oven, but that’s not bad.
The package arrived well before time and nicely packed. Its not plug and play!
The literature with it merely asks one to scan the code on unit that takes one to register the product. I looked through the brochure that gives a link to download instructions for use . Opening the door the instructions are visible at eye level
First attempt was able to set the clock, figured out how to use microwave. First attempt to microwave, result was good. Ascetically the unit looks good.
I did not realise that its microwave, grill and oven and has combi functions – Microvae + Grill or Oven+Microwave or stand alone functions. TandSamsung prooori chicken came out superb.
So far have tried three functions Microwave, cook and heat, combi function oven+Microwave – Frozen pizza was like out of Pizza place. ill try dough proof and home made yoghurt in it. One of functions.
So far very satisfied with this Samsung product.
I am having my son to train me how to use parts with so many buttons, but I am starting to pick it up. I am in my 70’s so tend to forget at times.
I loved everything about this convection microwave, easy to use apart from the control panel which does not have a light and therefore makes it very difficult to see the right button to press.
Cooks the meals fantastic, the only problem is plate on the glass turntable is a bit slippery if you put a casserole dish on it,still dosent turn me off
I bought this in September 2018 (about 4.5 years ago). It’s withstood a house move and still works. I’ve been looking recently at possible replacements just because the fan has become very noisy when using the oven function and I fear it may be coming to the end of it’s useful life. I don’t know how easy it would be to fix the fan if it stopped working but I’d still try that first before letting the machine go.
I’ve found it be an invaluable device and even left out a conventional oven when designing my previous kitchen because I had stopped using one with this around. The kitchen in my newer house has an oven but I’ve never had to use it in the 4 years I’ve been here. Just be sure to read the dimensions and allow for sufficient clearance because this can affect the performance. My fan problem might be due to my not leaving enough clearance at the back in my new place.
Looking around for a replacement I haven’t found anything that offers the performance of this machine at anything like a comparable price and if the need arises I will just replace it with the same model if it’s still available.
The programs are good and I’ve used quite a few but not all of them. It can be used easily with just the basic functions but I like to keep the manual in a handy drawer for the different programs. I find the instructions quite adequate and I’ve not had anything go wrong yet. Unlike your “typical male” I like to read manuals for everything I buy and I suggest reading this one through to at least get a knowledge of what it can do and keep it handy for more detailed instructions when you want to try something new.
I recommend this machine based on my experience of using it.
I don’t know if it is relevant but for context I’m a 73 yr old man living on his own.
I’m really glad to get this smart oven, its heating food much quicker than oven and using less energy, the only minus is that i found few deep scratches inside on the back (looks like a manufacturing issue) but to late to return and probably not worth the hassle. Will recommend anyway.
I have had this oven for almost 6 months now and am mostly really pleased with it. I have used all the functions and found them to work overall very well. There are only 2 of us and I now use it far more than my main oven. The Roast chicken in the photo cooked in just 29 minutes and was moist and tender with a crispy skin. The Samsung Combi looks good, wasn’t super expensive, is easy to clean and isn’t too noisy. So what’s not to like? Well, I find it completely infuriating trying to get the crusty plate positioned inside the unit on the high rack. If it isn’t exactly central the crusty plate rubs along the back of the oven causing it to arc! This has to be a design fault, you can spend minutes stopping and starting the appliance to make sure it’s okay and isn’t going to spark. I don’t know if this could damage the oven but it is in the least super annoying. If the turning glass plate had dimples for the rack feet on it’s surface this would at least mean you only had to get the crusty plate positioned correctly, as it is it’s a nightmare. I’ve googled this and found I’m not alone in having this problem. Samsung designers sort this out and your combi would be amazing.

I bought this oven for my own use when my Rayburn was being removed and I was waiting for my full sized oven to be installed, so when my daughter needed a temporary oven while her Aga was being restored I bought the same oven for her. I haven’t used all the functions yet but the convection oven and the microwave functions both work excellently

Am delighted with my new microwave. Its not overly big, so I’ve still got plenty of workspace and it doesn’t overload the kitchen. It’s easy to use, I’ve hardly had to refer to the manual, which incidentally it doesn’t come with – you have to download it! Rather annoying but never mind I’m sure this is progress/or not! It’s very easy to clean and comes with 2 stands of different heights, which are also easy to clean. I’ve cooked various dishes so far using the grill and the conventional oven. It preformed very well….I’m really pleased with it. It gets a 10/10 from me

Our last Samsung microwave just broke after 8 years so got this and it was cheaper than the last one and this is a combination other wasn’t.
It’s very easy to use and I’m very pleased with it, definitely recommend this microwave
Very useful
This combination microwave is very useful as my large oven is faulty so needed an oven in order to cook meat etc. It looks great in my kitchen. The downside is that there are very few instructions so I had to resort to trial and error. There was a lot of error!! Eventually I worked it out but a more detailed instruction booklet would have been helpful.
Easy all purpose cooking method
Wish I had bought one before. Easy and quick meals in a much quicker and cleaner way.
It does what it should.
We were drawn to this model by the slim fry facility.
Having used it several times for chips the results are nowhere near as good as deep frying them.
The other facilities on the oven work very well.
Great microwave with many functions
This product is great, with lots of functions. The instructions for use are clear and easy to understand.
This does what it says – microwaves, convection oven upto 180C and grills. Saves on energy bills. Great for heating smaller amounts. We use it for rice, casseroles, my husband’s lunches and currently grilling sausages. Well worth the effort of learning. May need to think about what containers if microwaving as well as grilling or oven and microwaving the item. Make sure you have space as biggerthan most microwaves. Also side heat vent (left when looking from front) puts out a large moist output which steamed up a large window the first time we used it. Needed more space and then never happened again.
The downside is the interface and has to be laboriously learnt and is not very intuitive. A key pad or turn dial would improve matters. Needs time and in our case our own quick reference guide. Well worth the effort as rarely use the main oven these days. That is what resulted in 4*.

Unfortunately had to return this microwave. The back portion sticks out too much and probably only suit if you stick the microwave on the corner. Otherwise a huge gap is left between the wall and the unit. Does not look pretty because of it.
Versatile cooker with good capacity and lots of programming options
Our previous (Daewoo) blew up so we went for this because of brand reputation. Hope it lasts longer than the 12 months our last one did! 20 litre capacity is plenty, though there are bigger ovens around. We use it as a conventional oven as much as a microwave and it bakes perfectly. User guide is pretty hopeless, but after some trial and error you get the hang of the controls. We like the touch controls which are easier to clean than knobs.
Just what you expect from Samsung
Still early days so I haven’t used all the features yet, but it’s very similar to my old Samsung microwave so no real surprises. As others have commented, the timer setting is a bit annoying – it would be better to be able to key in the time you require, but that’s just a small thing. Looking forward to many happy years ahead with it.
A few weeks further on, and have used it a little more. Disappointed to discover that the convection heat function only goes up to 200C – my old appliance went up to 220.

Great so far no problem
The power is not as good as my last combi but at half the price I cannot complain.. Everything working as stated. Would recommend.
Bit complicated to figure out, so I started with the basics, microwave to heat things up, then microwave-grill for pizza, then I tried baking brownies in the convection oven, I moved on to roasting a chicken using the combination microwave and oven and today I’ve just finished making bread in it, using it to both proof and bake the bread (aiming for subway style rolls, which haven’t turned out to bad for a first go!!)
Its taken a few weeks to get to know but I’m so glad I put in the effort, its a cracking oven and well worth the money!
Versatile Cooking
We had bought an earlier version of this Samsung which gave us great service for 13 years.
The old one stopped heating so probably magnetron issuebut it will be fixed!

Good value, plenty of features
Replacement for similar model at an excellent price. Efficient, good functionality and ease of use. As always seems to be the case, the instruction manual enclosed is basic, and the on-line one still not detailed enough to maximise the full functionality. I wish they’d give more examples of settings to use as there is a lot of functionality in the unit.
Poor warranty from samsung
When I bought the microwave it was great. Unfortunately after a couple of months the corner started to get a stress fracture. I didn’t think too much of it as the microwave has a 3 year warranty. Over a year had passed and it got worse and worse, I then called Samsung and they said it only has a year warranty even though the box says 3 years. They wouldnt fix and gave me the impression I dropped it. Won’t be buying again!!
Superb. You do need to commit t getting to know how to use this oven but it is well worth it. There are many functions and as such, the instructions are lengthy.
I roasted a chicken larger than the auto cook timings so I had to work out how to add some time (auto for the biggest chicken size then hot blast micro and oven about 5 mins extra, then micro and grill about 5 mins for the extra browning). I’ve made yoghurt which is really good but does take 7 hours of very gentle tick-over electricity so I must compare that to a pot from the supermarket. Next time I do yoghurt I will put much more in than the 5 pots suggested, and there definitely is room for more.
Boiled potatoes in a few minutes – excellent. Non frozen pizza – a touch overcooked on auto but v close to the mark. Rice gets a tick.
Roasted half peppers filled with basil and tomatoes drizzled with olive oil did not hit the spot. I used the straightforward oven feature. Some things like a good time to develop maybe?. I will stick to the real oven for those.
ordinary microwave use is easy… and so on.
I am measuring the electricity consumption and will have to report back to you in a while with the full details. I’m using a clamp meter so not very scientific, but a smart meter is due end of November. At the moment though, just that magnificent 1.7kg roasted chicken in half a hour plus a few minutes final faffing makes it worth every penny.
The white is rather good by the way. I am glad it is all they had at the time of my purchase. This is not a plastic coated microwave, it is powder coated metal.

Edit March 2022. The bread proving function is amazing. Pop the covered bowl in the oven and leave it on auto for an hour. I use a no knead 500g flour recipe most often (James Morton’s Brilliant Bread, which I bought on Amazon), and that has three proves – two on auto for an hour in the bowl and one in the pan it will be cooked in for a further hour. The oven warms very slightly and the plate rotates. This is a revolution for my bread making and I’m no longer chasing spots of sun around the house with a bowl of dough.
On the down side – I struggle with the oven/baking function because the heating element is exposed on the roof of the oven. So, there’s direct red heat on and off during the cooking process and a combination of microwave and grill or the hot blast functions on things like macaroni cheese leave a cellophane browned texture on the top and not the normal browned bubbles I’d get from the big fan oven. I’d not use this for entertaining.
Warning – the heating element I just mentioned is touchable and I’ve burned myself once trying to turn toast over on the high rack. As such, I will not be buying one of these for my elderly parents and I’d not want children to use it.
It is still great and I’m happy with this item – please could we have a recipe book for it.

My only criticism is the manual, more of a start up guide, it isn’t informative enough. I know I can go and download a manual but I’m a bit of a dinosaur and like products to come with a printed manual, just a personal preference. Having said that it is very easy to operate and understand, it isn’t overly complicated. It’s very neat on the counter top and I like the fact you can see your food as it cooks, not all microwaves allow you to see your food, it’s useful if you can see something that is potentially over-cooking especially in microwave mode. I would definitely recommend this item for a small household.
Efficient and easy to use
I have had this Samsung Convection microwave for a few weeks easy to use and I have made baked oats, macroni and cheese so energy efficient would highly recommend this microwave as previously owned the 23 litre one. It’s great value for money and most of my family own Samsung microwaves.

Good for the money , but the instructions could be better really powerful on microwave setting not used convection or grill yet,nice size bit fussy on controls but getting use to them now.

I do like this oven, a lot cheaper to use than large conventional oven. I preferred my previous smart oven with a knob rather than a press pad for timing.
