I do like this oven, a lot cheaper to use than large conventional oven. I preferred my previous smart oven with a knob rather than a press pad for timing.

1st one I received had dents in top and a bent front leg that’s why I only gave it 4. Received another one quickly and this one is perfect. Really like it quite easy to use and clean and great price.

I’ve only had this microwave for about 2 weeks and so far I’m very impressed! It is a big microwave so does take up a fair bit of space but then I remember that it’s not actually just a microwave! It’s a smart oven, it’s great at it fits a lot in and does warm up food but it also has a grill inside so it’s great for cooking things in too! It looks smart and is a great asset to my kitchen.

Bought this to replace old Samsung combi would give it 5 stars if was slightly easier to use and came with instruction book , lm not one for downloading things ,but think oven is a good purchase, and a to be able to stop turntable is a really good feature.

Great machine at a good price. Unless you are a technophobe it’s best to read the user manual as there are so many different facilities and programs on this microwave. I have a Samsung fridge/freezer and Samsung washer/drier. Never had any problems with either in the 4 years I’ve owned them.
Only fault. You have to Download User Guidelines.

Even at 200 degrees roasties don’t crisp up, the old oven went up to 230 C
Setting the time is a nightmare = as time goes up per 10seconds although designed to “scroll” – it won’t always do this.

I bought this microwave a couple of months ago. So far it’s doing good job, no problem at all. Most of the use i get from it to use as microwave, but i have also tried cooking, grilling functions and it has done the job well. Instruction are little tricky to understand at first instance but once you get hang of it then it becomes a lot easier to use different functions.

Great microwave, used the oven and combi and grill. Keep the rear well ventilated as it gets hot here due to the elements. Great price for a Samsung product, it’s a family size so it’s large. It’s also ideal for a single person like me so I can eat more variety of foods. Also it’s much better than a previous Russell Hobbs combi that this item has replaced.

we already have a similar version of this combi microwave, it’s easy to use and we use the convection oven
most of the time. my 11 yr old grandson soon learned how to use it with adult supervision. we usually bake cakes in it and cook meat, my 17 yr old grandson cooks frozen pizzas with it, i actually had to ask him how to do it when i tried to do one, its easy to use the auto cook once you know how but i still failed. would definately recommend this to anyone.

Has the most important features, a beeper silencer and quick microwave button (30 sec a press).
As this equipment is multi-functional it is understandable that it is more complicated to operate than a dedicated machine (say a microwave or a grill) but this little beastie has both, and an air-fry and a hot-bast, thought these two features come down to a clever use of the fan oven.
Air frying is basically turbo fan oven, ie: air pushed rapidly over super hot elements, hot blast is simply a variant on this theme. This oven comes with a crisp plate, which heats the food from the bottom (by making the crisp plate very hot) in hot air mode, and the real clever shinanegans come with the magnatron + hot air/grill combo, for which programs are provided.
The stir-fry mode uses the maganatron, hot air and the crisper plate to make chips (fries) in 20 min, half the time my dedicated air-fryer takes.
The programs are a bit archaine and somewhat like Harry Potter one must utter the correct invocation for the right results, and like Harry Potter, one must attend Dark Arts class before mastering them, which in this case, comes down to reading the manual, which leaves something to be desired in its organisation and presentation, therefor a complete read through is recommended.
Fortunately the machine provided several ‘straight up’ options:- The aforementioned quick start button, a microwave button which allows you to change the power and time (this is done through the big ‘one press’ dial, having selected, say microwave you twiddle the knob for desired power, press the knob, and twiddle for time, then hit the start/quick start button. The grill and stir-fry are operated similarly, so rice, pasta, toast and chips all nice and easy.
Two criticisms, one: its rather heavy, possibly because of all the stuff in it. Two: not so easy to clean, the manual say the grill should flip down for easy cleaning (of it and the roof I assume) but this is not the case, this model does not have the flip down grill as mentioned in the manual, more over, the manual fails to mention how to flip the grill down, not withstanding, careful inspection of my unit show the grill is securely fastened to the roof and will do no such thing as flip in any direction.

Best Micorwave in years
This is more than a microwave oven. We use it heavily for making yogurt – makes delicious yogurt overnight (but you need the starting culture), dough proofing for Pizza and bread and of course as a traditional Microwave. It is quite roomy as well. Very happy with it.

Arrived a day earlier than expected. Will take a bit of getting used to all the controls. A bit fiddly putting in times, have to keep pressing a button instead of simply having a knob to turn. No Cancellation Button if you make a mistake entering a programme. Have to turn it off and start again. Instructions rather sketchy and print too small. A good price for a good looking piece of kit. No doubt I will learn in time but at 88 I am not so quick on the uptake. I have managed to use the Microwave and the Oven straightforwardly.

Bought this a bit over a month ago and love it. Cooks evenly, baked some muffins using the convection oven, defrosts a slab of mince easily and evenly…cooks great all round. Even defrosts frozen toast bread using the preset function…on the cooking side all good. And we love the fact you can turn the beeps off and if you have a large container to put in it you can easily turn off the turn table. Just well designed and does what you expect it to do and does it well. We are very happy and with the 3 year parts and labour warranty I feel like it will last. Can recommend it without hesitation. Delicious food much quicker than usual.
This is a new technology combination microwave and I’m still learning how long to cook home baked items. The slim fry and heat blast are great for meals. The yogurt/bread setting is great but only needs a short warm-up.

Good microwave and hopefully will be easy to clean, have only used the microwave so far and it did not need cleaning. I have no problem using the microwave button but the setting of time is awkward, it can only be done in 10 second increments which is a nuisance especially when I want to reheat a bowl of soup and on the 300W setting I need 10 minutes, a lot of 10 seconds to press ! If the manufacturers could enlighten me why the machine was designed this way, that would be much appreciated. Look forward to trying the convection cooking and the dough proving function.

2. The real estate – it does take up quite a bit of counter space, but its 3 ovens in one.
3. The time spent – its advisable to read the instructions thoroughly and watch a couple of online tutorials about how to get the best out of your combination oven.
This oven it super easy to clean (the 2nd main reason I bought it), it cuts down cooking times when used in combination and it looks sleek and stylish. If you simply want to heat up a bowl of soup, then this isn’t the oven for you (given its size and cost). Rather, if you want to cook creatively and are open to experimenting, this is a great oven for the price (the main reason I bought it). Friends who have seen the results have purchased it for themselves. Surely this alone presents this oven as a serious and useful piece of kitchen tech.

Nice microwave
Not had this microwave long but it seems to work well. The plate seems to vibrate a bit at times but don’t think its a problem. Not done too many things yet but happy so far. Lot of instructions with it and looking forward to putting them into practice. Its very smart and fits in well with my kitchen. A good buy I’d say for the price.

Bought this as a replacement for our very old grubby, beaten up microwave and I couldn’t be happier.
Still dubious that you can use the metal racks in a microwave, when using combi microwave/grill and microwave/ convection oven.. but NOT when using microwave only.
Have been busy testing it out since Saturday, when it was delivered..Microwave, both combinations, the grill, the convection oven, all work flawlessly. Usually only ever used the old microwave for baked beans or heating milk etc..
Even did a casserole in it today and it was delicious.
Read the review mentioning the high pitch noise and can only say I’ve not had any problems so far and can only suggest, that particular customer, either has a faulty hearing aid, tinnitus or got a product with a very rare fault.

Only tiny little niggle I have, is setting the timer. I would prefer to have a numeric keypad, so say for 1:30, I would just type 130 and when you press and hold the up or down arrows, it increases or decreases a bit fast.. but having played with it for a while now, I’ve gotten used to it. So can’t deduct for that.
Incredibly smooth interior, which is a doddle to clean. grab yourself a pack of Oven Mate microwave wipes. Chuck one on the glass turntable, close the door, heat it up, wait a while, then wipe the interior and even the exterior clean.. AND they are biodegradable too, which is good for the environment. The old lemon juice and water trick , might sound like a great idea, but lemons aren’t cheap and I’d rather make a lemon drizzle cake any day

Comes with holding trays so you can microwave more than one dish at one time. Have tried the grill and it does work but mainly on top, the bottom does be left a bit soggy so the grill doesn’t circulate fully so good for toast but pizza maybe not so much, overall i do recommend it!

No cookery book. Using combination oven micro top heat is 600. Iv found it problematic to cook roast potatoes, micro grill is the same. Iv only used this for two weeks so early days to change s mindset of 20 years with Panasonic.

One failing by Samsung is No Cookery book included. Panasonic includes a excellent paperback.

This has some really useful features. It also lacks some useful features. The speed defrost is limited. The auto reheat is lacking in options and is quite confusing. It’s ok if you want to do ready meals but there is no option for soup at all. As a person who makes large batches of soup that I freeze in portions, this is not good.

Well made microwave with a nice chunky handle rather than the fragile push to open button. Oven temp. goes up to 200c. and has 2 heater elements, the traditional sheeth type at the top of the oven and a quartz tube in the back along with the fan. Has some handy features such as turntable on/off so you can fit lasagna square type dishes in it. A deodorizing function which is great to banish smells especially after cooking fish. People have mentioned about having to press the timer lots of times to increase the time? Just simply keep your finger on it and it and it increases really fast. If youre after a well made, reasonably cheap combi microwave this is the one to go for.

Samsung MC28H5013AS/EU Combination Microwave is a fine microwave/oven/grill. Ordered on Saturday with ‘Prime’ but arrived only on Tuesday. We have not tried all its features/programs yet, but it seems to work fine as a microwave (MW) in every day use. One thing I am missing (available on the previous MW we had) – no quick access to the ‘+10 sec’ timer. It does have a dedicated ‘+30 sec’ button, however any times not multiples of 30 sec are only accessible by pressing of a few buttons, like ‘MW’ -> power tuning (up/down -> select) -> timer (up/down -> start), which is a little cumbersome.
The biggest disappointment is the promised 3 year warranty appears to be only 1 year (12 month) as stated in the papers that came with it! – UPDATE: well, I did manage to register for the promised 3 years, but the process was VERY cumbersome and requires research and a good effort to reach the correct web-page – shame on Samsung making it so difficult!
Love the single-press 30 seconds microwave button, which you can press multiple times. So much easier than Panasonic (microwave… 1 minute… Start).
I’ve used this oven for a week now and have tried most of the functions. Like other reviewers I found it confusing at first due to all the combination possibilities, although the microwave function is straightforward. I live alone, enjoy cooking, and this oven is the perfect kitchen accessory and I doubt I’ll be using my main fan oven much in future.
I’m particularly impressed by the Hot Blast feature when using the conventional oven and have had lovely crisp fish in batter and an excellent roasted chicken, which I cooked in my usual Le Creuset cast iron dish. I was a bit nervous about using it but the Hot Blast doesn’t use the microwave (whew!). The oven is a good size, much bigger than I thought. I’m looking forward to using the dough function when next making bread – sounds intriguing and probably a lot quicker than leaving it near the kitchen radiator and hoping for the best….
I’m sure this oven will be really useful for larger families, too, but – for me – it’s the perfect answer for solo cooks who want something that’s stylish and adaptable to their lifestyle.
No complaints about this except the delay between switching power of the variable output and being able to use the timer. Takes several seconds and is irritating. Why Samsung have designed it like this I don’t know.
This is a powerful device with many functions, not all of which work intuitively. The “Power Defrost” feature, for example, is lass powerful than an alternative way of defrosting using the microwave directly. But it cooks well, and is a good supplement to a fan oven.

Great machine. Easy to use, grill works well for heating bread and naan out the packet. Great variety of functions and simple setup. Food heats quicker than our last 800w, can tell the difference in time taken, eco feature and turntable off or on is appreciated.
