Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWho would think such a device would have such an impact. Now, I love my gadgets and tech and have heard of air frying mania for years now, but was still reluctant.
This device though, wow. We have a gas oven, and this is obviously is electric and uses the same principle as fan ovens; hot air to cook but does it far quicker, not that fast cooking is better.
This certainly helps in Saturday cooks for full brekkies, and works exceptionally well for things like hash browns,/oven chips come out wonderfully crisp and moreish. Sausages on the other hand meat or veggy turn out too dry. Perhaps I need to tweak my temps or add some liquid like oil.
The speed cooking comes down to the smaller space and the air is concentrated in a confined space, thus is very efficient and helpfully saving energy too. I tried following the fan settings on the food packaging but in most cases it was far too hot, you would need to test/tweak. I just started guessing and reduced the temp a few degrees and kept the time. I could always increase the time, but not if I’ve burnt them at wrong temp, so lowering temp is a better method.

The device itself could quite easily come with a big brand name. It well built, intuitive to use and remove the cooking basket. The digital display and menu is a doddle to figure, after you’ve read the basic on/off usage basics. It has some presets for some everyday food, like some microwaves would and for the most part works well. At the end of the cook there is a audible beep.

The basket is non-stick and cleans easily as you would expect of non-stick.
Although the volume per cook is around medium amount, it’s adequate for our family of four. Some may want to look at larger capacity air fryers.
According to the manual it can cook all sorts like cakes, pastries and raw meats, which makes sense as its akin to a fan oven.

We love this device, and for the price it’s a bargain for what it does, as long as you know that it doesn’t replace a large gas/electric oven but works alongside one.
This one, if it lasts longs, should be very comparative to a big brand one at a much lesser price.

This is a bright white air fryer that is very easy to use. Large basket and easy to read control panel. Cooks chicken nuggets and fries in about 12 minutes, which is quicker than heating up our main oven!
We have cooked sausages, burgers, fish fingers, chips and croissants in this.
We find it quicker to clean while its still warm, put a squirt of washing up liquid and an inch of water, and wipe with a cloth. No build up of hard fats and quicker than a dishwasher.

Although we have talked about getting one of these from time to time we had never tried one until now. It’s fair to say that we are impressed so far. We’ve used this to cook 4 quite different items. I think it is probably a case of getting to know how to use this to its best advantage and we are still learning that.

I cooked some burgers (butcher’s ones) first and was very impressed with the result. They were far better than when we have had them before and cooked them in the oven. They cooked much quicker – maybe half the time and so were economic too. It was very easy to clean the machine afterwards. I’ve also cooked salmon steaks and they came out very well. I tried using a liner when I cooked chips and that was less successful. Not sure whether that was the liner, the potato type or the amount. They were cooked but maybe not all that brilliant. Another time I will try doing it differently. We also cooked some sausages in it which were good and quicker than the oven however I do think you need to be careful about how much you put in (there are only 2 of us) so that you can get even cooking.

We have been very pleasantly surprised by how effective this is. I think you need to be careful about the loading – too much makes it hard to get a good finish. The temperature range is maybe a bit limited. However it does cook cleanly and economically when you get it right. There are also the obvious health benefits of less fat.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersDidn’t want an air fryer with all the presets, so this is perfect. Very convenient. Haven’t used my main oven since I’ve had it. I use fan oven temperatures as a guide, but have gone another 10 degrees or so cooler. There is a suggestion for baking cakes temp in the instructions. I would add that ALWAYS use a good quality oven cloth/mitts, especially on ‘baking’ as it would be so easy to catch your hand on the upper elements. Overall, very pleased.

This is a large 3.5 L air fryer non stick having never used one before I didn’t know what to expect but am gradually getting used to it. By trial and error it is quite simple to use, the drawer comes out ok and the basket is quite big. There is a booklet with instructions for use and cleaning and hints ,there is also a full page with timings for different foods. There are 7 preset settings. The food does retain its flavour when air fried .

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWow! Let me repeat thatWOW!!! This is my new best friend in the kitchen. I never knew cooking was so easy and I’ve used pressure cookers, large ovens of course, grills the list goes on. I thought with all the hype that air fryers were just a fad, well if it is a fad then it’s a fad that’s staying around a long time.in which case it then becomes NOT a fad! This is so easy to operate, and most important, it’s healthy and it cooks evenly and that’s to my surprise. I started out by just chucking some cooked barbecue chicken pieces and french fries in, switching it on, setting the temperature and timer, and pressing go. After ten minutes I decided I was being a bit too optimistic in cutting down both the temperature AND the timings. But with a bit of adjusting, we managed to end up with crispy french fries cooked lovely inside and although the chicken pieces weren’t crispy outside they were well cooked. I normally have to burn these pieces in the ordinary oven for them to be hot. You have to check the cooking and either shake the contents of the pan or turn them over if you can, half way through your timing. It’s easy to take the pan out and the machine just stops heating, although admittedly the timer carries on. What is so important is that the heating is even and with the big fan at the top it works wonders. Now I am approaching this review from the angle that I am completely new to this idea of cooking. It’s like having a portable mini convection oven, but with less mess, and more convenience. At 74.99 I think this is excellent for the money. I’m a beginner and it’s just so easy to use. The instruction booklet is clear and concise and actually quite helpful, although I’m sure a cookery book aimed at this idea will be of great benefit so I have some learning to do. But because it’s so easy to operate I don’t mind concentrating on cooking other products. According to the manual you can even cook cake in it! Yum yum! So we have a machine about a foot and a half high with an integral pan and handle with an inner pan for the food to go in. The LED settings are on the front top and light up when you switch it on and press the LED power touch button. You don’t need to press anything hard, it’s all done with a light touch. During cooking you can’t change the settings. But the display alternates between the cooking temperature set and the timing left. It also shows that the fan and heating element is working, and it switches itself off once the timer has completed it’s cycle. If you remove the pan the machine switches the fan and heating off. You need to take into account these breaks in cooking to check how the cooking is going and to shake the food, and add the time on. As with anything it is a case of trial and error before you start to get things exactly right, but with this machine it’s fun. Here’s a tip I learned although I take no responsibility in suggesting it. I put some tin foil in the base of the pan and it saved so much cleaning. So, easy and safe to operate, looks good in the kitchen, easy to read the display, performs well for a beginner, cleaning is easy, and the instruction booklet is good. I see no downsides to this air frying lark. Five stars from me! Now all I need is to buy a decent cookery book and to learn how to get the best from this machine.

Looks good, easy to use, trial and error should produce great results. In no way a chore to use!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve been wanting to get an air fryer for a while but with so many different ones available I just couldn’t decide if they were worth it. But then I got the opportunity to test this one the Vine program and honestly I absolutely love it. I can definitely see why family and friends have been raving about using them.

I’ve been using this for about a week (at time of reviewing) and I’m really impressed. It cooks things super-fast and evenly, which was my major concern. I made fresh homemade chunky chips and I couldn’t believe how fast they cooked and how little oil they needed. I’ve also used it to cook frozen samosa’s and again they came out really nice and crispy on the outside and nicely cooked into the middle.

It does take a few attempts to get the temperature and timings right for certain food, and also you need to shake or turn some foods more frequently as they will burn.

The air fryer looks fab and is super easy to use. There is a simple instructions booklet which tells you how to use the pre-set settings and also gives you a rough temperature guide to cooking some foods which is useful, but not all of them are accurate as you do end up with burnt food, so you’re better off trial and error. Oh, and it’s so easy to clean!! Just wash with soapy warm water and a non-scratch sponge and leave to dry!!

I love using this air fryer, but one thing I have noticed is that the bottom gets quite hot, which in turn makes the counter top very hot so I do advise that you put a heat proof mat or something underneath to protect your counter tops. After speaking to some family and friends who own air fryers from bigger brands, they also said they have this problem so it not just an issue with this air fryer.

A great air fryer and a very reasonable price especially for the newbie users for air fryers.

A great air fryer for a first timer!!

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersIn my eyes this is an oven with the functions of several other appliances that I have now replaced… These are as follows:

First and foremost, on its “Bake” setting it’s an oven. Needless to say this can cook some of your family favourite dishes, usually in slightly less time than a conventional oven due to its compact size that concentrates heat better.

Toast – This is big enough to fit 4 slices of bread into and toasts them all perfectly. My son is kind of fussy when it comes to how he likes his toast done, we had bought a glass front toaster so he can see and stop it exactly how he likes it. This multi-functional oven completely removed the need for that. It cooks from the top and the bottom so and has a light allowing you to peer through the glass door at whatever you are cooking.

Air fryer – This is perfect for cooking fries that are nice and crisp. I would suggest adding some spray oil or healthier alternative as ovens and air fryers both dry out fries and chips during cooking.

Rotisserie – This is also able to cook chicken breasts and some other boneless joints on a rotisserie grill setting. Perfect for making marinated chicken chunks.

Grill – This is good for making cheese on toast and other foods that require only a top heat source.

Included with this are the following utensils:

Oven tray that’s a decent thickness so doesn’t cool down so quickly or cause the food to burn from the heat being concentrated on one area as it allows the heat to be distributed more evenly across the tray.

A good sized air frying basket so you don’t need to cram too much into a small area. This is enough to feed older kids with a very generous portion of chips, chicken goujons and onion rings.

Rotisserie skewer for cooking chicken primarily… Chicken, pepper and onion skewers at a party? I’m not feeling very creative after most work days so I just stick to the basics for most recipes.

Grilling tray for grilling or toasting.

A little metal tool to pull out the oven/grilling tray/basket.

A sliding metal crumb tray at the bottom that does a great job of catching crumbs and drips from any food you cook.

(It has three dials on the front, one for the function, one for the temperature going up to 230c and another for the timer with auto power off at the end of the time and a nice loud “Ping” when it’s done)

Some examples of my uncreative cooking I’ve done with this are as follows:

Toast – perfectly even and no burning. There are lines on the bottom from the grill tray but this is obviously to be expected.

Marinated chicken chunks with seasoned roast veg. The chicken was actually cooked to perfection.

Fish and chips – I undercooked this the first time as I was cooking from frozen and the fish was a little too thick for the heat setting I used. Had I turned it down 10-20c it would have been perfect and wouldn’t have required me to give the fish another minute in the microwave to bring it up to temperature. Even with the microwaving after the fish was still crispy.

Pizza – Makes the smaller mini pizzas flawlessly and definitely much nicer than having to microwave one for 3 and a half minutes.

Steak pie and steak cut chips – The pie was a little overcooked in my opinion, not burnt but just slightly darker than I would have preferred. Regardless, it tasted the same as if I had cooked it perfectly in an oven. This was also my fault so I cannot fault the oven.

Chicken nuggets and chips – Nicely golden and with that crisp bite. My old air fryer is going to a new home this weekend because it’s just taking up space and I have no need for it anymore.

My only complaint is that the non-stick coating on the oven tray isn’t the best so be sure to use foil for best results.

Other than that, it’s flawless and I would recommend it to anyone, within reason. Bare in mind that it’s not a full fledged cooker and does have capacity limitations to reflect that.

More than deserving of the five star review I’m giving it.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersAfter trying this for a few days and cooking all sorts from whole chicken to pizzas I’ve decided it’s time for a review.

I gave this a good go at cooking all sorts and I have to say I’m very pleased. The pizzas were nice and crisp and tasked much better out of this then a normal over. The chips also much better then a normal oven.

I’ve done my fav meal cheese on toast and wow it was nice. Much better then expected.

I still have a lot to try in this that I would normally cook in a normal oven and so far everything is turning out better then expected.

Very happy also with the price. It’s not too bad and won’t break the bank at 139.95 21st February 2022.

    Simple to clean too.

I have to give it top marks of 5-5. I’ve not burned anything yet using this air oven. It’s been great to use and very easy to use. Totally Recommended.

This quality Air fryer from Sensio boasts an impressive 1800watts of power and it genuinely couldn’t be any more straightforward to use. You won’t need any technical know-how to get to grips with it as 3 simple knobs control the temperature, timing and function. We cooked a relatively inexpensive free-range supermarket-bought chicken in 65 minutes using the rotisserie function, and I have to say it was beautifully cooked and incredibly succulent which left the whole family mightily impressed. It’s so simple and genuinely cost-effective in comparison to our conventional oven as it doesn’t take an age preheating and it cooks in half the time. What’s not to like?

It reaches the required temperature within minutes and delivers crisp, well-cooked tasty food in no time at all and has all of the accessories and functions required for our busy family kitchen. Our kids love the usual naughty treats such as nuggets and fries but it needn’t be that naughty as no oil is needed and you’d swear the food came from the local takeaway.

It would be great for a caravan or accommodation where space is at a premium such as student digs or a small apartment.

I’m not even going to get started on how good the roast potatoes are in half the time, cost and oil that a conventional oven would require to produce. As for the perfect steak & chips! my this Sensio hits the spot.

In summary, it’s a great addition to our home that delivers time and time again. It’s incredibly easy for us all to use and the results are mouthwateringly tasty. I have reviewed many products in my time but none have been as pleasing as this, I highly recommend it.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review. I hope you found it helpful. All the bes

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersAfter trying this for a few days and cooking all sorts from whole chicken to pizzas I’ve decided it’s time for a review.
