Does exactly what it claims , makes 2 large cups of coffee or chocolate , froth you can eat with a spoon .
I’ve had this over a year with daily use and it’s brilliant. I use in conjunction with a Nespresso machine to make latte’s once or twice daily. The kids also use it for hot chocolate and to mix milkshakes.
My only gripe was that is looked as if I had been sent out a customer return, the box looked to have been opened. I returned the original order and received a replacement the next day.

Great product, large capacity to heat or foam, I get a really big mug and that’s only filling it partially. I’ve used loads of other frothers previously so hoping this will last!

We have been using this for four weeks without any issues with pouring , heating milk or frothing milk. The jug simply goes into the dish washer every night. I never spend time writing long reviews but this is a great bit of kit and it worth every penny. We used to buy cheap ones that seem to last 5 mins. Works for a busy family household 10.10
Makes a beautiful frothy coffee and gorgeous hot chocolate – COMES WITH A UK PLUG ATTACHED – would highly recommend
Even at 65 degrees it is not quite warm enough when you transfer whatever you are frothing to a recepticle at room temperature, pre-warmed is ok. The frother attachment by its self is super powerful! and a bit too much for our liking. It is a bit noisy but its not for long.

I wanted something to make hot chocolate and this does the job admirably. I use organic cocoa plus some extra 100% chocolate drops (need to be broken up a bit however or they can jam it up).

I researched milk frothers quite a bit before I purchased this, but ultimately I decided on this one. I normally don’t like to invest in machines that only do one thing, but I decided it was worth it.
I’ve never been a coffee drinker, but I have on occasion treated myself to a hot choc, a chai latte, a matcha latte, turmeric latte, or a London fog. Before Covid, I’d get maybe 2 a week, they generally cost around 5 each, so that’s 10 a week, 40 a month. Not a lot. I paid 89.99 for this, which means it pays for itself in 2.5 months. When you think about it this way, it absolutely pays for itself very quickly, and I’m only an occasional hot drinker. Though, that said, I drink hot drinks almost every day, now. And as you may know, matcha and turmeric lattes are hard to make at home because it’s hard to mix them up so well.
I only use this with plant milk, mainly oat and soya and occasionally coconut milk. It obviously doesn’t foam up as much as cow milk, but it does give a nice layer of foam. I am absolutely delighted with this machine. It takes around 2 minutes and I have perfect cafe-quality lattes and hot choc. Haven’t tried the cold option yet, as I don’t drink cold milk drinks.
This is a wonderful investment if you enjoy even the occasional drink. So pleased with this machine.
edit 2022: after 11.5 months, I still adore this machine and cannot recommend it high enough. Pictured- a soya chai latte.
edit: 2023: After just shy of 24 months, the motor started making horrible grinding sounds and it broke. Now on the hunt for a new machine. Bitterly disappointed as I have loved this machine and really enjoyed the drinks it makes.

Fantastic bit of kit. Finally a milk frother that works as I like it. I’ve had the Dualit and Nespresso (krupps) ones before, they didn’t have temp options and we’re only small capacity. This machine has room to spare for two coffees and the bowl doesn’t get milk residue on it that’s tricky to clean. I’ve found this one can just be rinsed effectively without scrubbing. As it’s an induction base, there is a cooling fan that runs about two mins after the heating cycle which was unexpected but its not too intrusive sound wise. I bought an amazon warehouse (very good-used) model and there was no blemish or mark anywhere, came in original packaging. Saved some !
A more expensive machine for sure but ahead of the pack. I bought the one with a rotary dial and five heat settings as it seemed way easier to operate rather than the all singing all dancing electronic model with the display in the button. Very happy!
Great milk frother, ideal to use for cappuccino or lattes. Plenty of froth and hot milk doesn’t cool your coffee. Somehow we are getting more taste from our coffee pods even with using same quantities as our previous frother – which is lovely. Very easily cleaned, simply rinse or put in dishwasher.

I bought this as a cheaper product I bought didn’t have a detachable jug and it was a faff to clean.
I researched loads and this seemed to be the best. It looks smart and is easy to use, including making hot chocolate. A barista pour is a bit of a stretch, but probably as good as you’ll get without a steamer.
Purchased to replace low cost frother/heater. This makes such a difference, great quality device good foamed milk every time and the removable stainless steel jug makes cleaning up a piece of cake.

Decided to purchase this when our last milk more basic milk frother broke. Wondered if the extra cost would be worth it. No regrets. The machine is easy to use, quiet and produces thick frothy milk best poured as soon as it beeps. The hot chocolate function is also great, effectively breaking up chunks of chocolate with milk to produce a deliciously rich drink. Very easy to clean. Has been used several times a day for the past 2 months no negative observations.
This is brilliant – we only use it for frothing milk and always use cold setting and then 65degree heating – amazing foamed milk every time! You put whole jig in DW so super easy to clean – used every day Brilliant and worth the money!

Have had various brands none of which were as durable or efficient. Easy to operate, nice thick foam and makes enough for a large breakfast cup. Does not burn the milk and is easy to clean. Have had 3 x aeroccinos all of which broke down while still under warranty, a Lavazza and a cheaper brand. This one is superior in performance and reliability to all of them,.
After being given a much cheaper non-stick frother we became addictive to frothy coffee and frothy chocolate milk. We don’t drink espresso but use ours to make frothy milk coffee and milk chocolate by adding a heaped teaspoon of either instant coffee or cocoa to the milk before frothing. Our cheap frother got harder and harder to clean when the milk burnt on the bottom of the non-stick coating. I finally did some research and decided on this brand in 700 Plus. So glad I did, and we love everything about it. It’s stainless steel interior just rinses out and we can make one after the other as my husband uses raw full fat milk and I drink mostly Sojade soya or Oatly oat milk (the normal type). It doesn’t produce full froth from normal oat milk but will enough for frothy milk. I selected the soya milk setting, and also tried the full froth setting both achieved the same result with normal oat milk, not as great as soya, as soya milk froths easier than normal milk in any frother. I did have to play around with different settings for soya as the machine soya setting was too good and I ended up with a cup of froth and very little milk. I found using the hot milk setting with the normal froth blade was perfect for frothy soya coffee and also for frothy hot chocolate with milk or soya by adding a heaped teaspoon of cocoa powder before turning on. I found nothing to dislike about this product.
If you like froth on your coffee this is as good as it gets.

Cannot overstate how good this Severin milk frother is, just like having a coffee out with all the frothy goodness and to top it all off makes hot chocolate by adding Cadbury Dairy Milk to milk.

I wasn’t sure about this but thought I’d treat myself and I’m glad I did. I use it every day.
I add milk and 2 spoons of Nescaf AZERA almericano fine instant coffee to the machine and it makes a great frothy coffee at the perfect temperature.
The same with hot chocolates for the kids add milk, Cadbury’s hot chocolate powder and a flake.
Washes very easily and the machine looks great in the kitchen.
Just love this machine. Makes great frothed milk and hot chocolate. Does leave some of the froth up the side but I just scrape that out with a spatula.

Only had the machine for 4 days, but a wonderful 4 days they have been. It’s like having a Costa Barista in my kitchen and during isolation has been my life saviour. Not yet been used for chocolate but my daughter is keen to have a go when we chocolate in the house. Would recommend

I had a similar product before, but this new one is switched off automatically and much more important, the magnetic scrambler is sitting on a longer pivot, so will never go off when you fill in milk.

The foam is not enough. It only makes foam for whole milk. Skim milk almost no foam. Other frothers produce more foam than this one. However is really easy to use.
