I have to say I very much like the shark. Strong and reliable. So far so good.

Good for regular light cleaning. Watch for blockages.
This vacuum cleaner is really handy for light cleaning. It does that job well.
I like that it stores tidily and has two batteries. I like the lights on the brush head – way more useful than I expected.
Buyers need to watch for three things. Firstly it is a little top heavy, so once you remove the brush head it becomes a little unwieldy.
Second is blockages. The intake from the brush head is narrower than mains powered vacuum cleaners. So you need to watch for crud getting stuck in the right-angle bend behind the brush head. I discovered a UK two pence coin exactly fits the passage and everything piled up behind it. Time Team would have have had a field day with that one.
Thirdly, the brush head does not really cut hair. My daughter’s flowing locks found their way into the bush head to wind themselves like wire about the main brushes. No amount of fancy cutting devices were going to stop that.
So you will need to cut out hair from time to time.
However, the ease of use, neatness and 2 batteries really shine for this machine. So, happy to give it 4 stars. Knocking one off for the poor human hair management.

I love this hoover, very powerful and the two batteries are a great idea, so no waiting to re charge.
It is a little heavy when carrying the whole unit down stairs etc, but if you use the tool designed for the stairs, then no need to hold the the full unit, making it so much easier and lighter. This folds in half, so great for storage!

Must have hoove
Very impressed with Shark hoover. I like the cordless functionality and the various fitments for hoovering stairs, under cupboards, etc. Its also very versatile fitting under tables and sofas, etc, It takes up less room which is ideal for storage purposes.

I love it!
I actually enjoy getting the hoover out now. I was a bit surprised how weighty it is but I’ve got used to that now and it’s well balanced in use. Powerful enough for our carpets and rugs and it whizzes over the hard floors too.
The lack of it being self supporting is my only gripe just have to balance it carefully whilst moving furniture out the way but this must be the case for all stick vacuums. I have no issues with this item and would recommend it. Really handy having the second battery but as yet I’ve not needed it.

Absolutely loving it. My dog losing hair like crazy and I have no problems getting all of it of the carpets stairs sofa. I would definitely recommend this hoover.

This is my most perfect buy !! Highly recommended , super suction power but it’s so light & quiet , you think it’s impossible for such a little thing to be so great . My life has been made so easy now …. the dreaded stairs …. no longer exists .
Even my son loves using it and that in itself tells the story …… even his car gets a once over now ;)) Every house needs one !!!

Well designed, powerful - my best cordless vaccuum to date
Having tried various cordless vacs in the past, including one of the earlier Dyson models and the Jashen V16, this has to be the best vacuum so far. I’ve got a dog that sheds and have both carpeted and solid wood floors. I went over the house with the Jashen the day the Shark arrrived, so went over it again. It picked up a shockingly extra amount of hair, particularly from the carpets demonstrate the poor job done by the previous vac.

Very well designed and well made. Like other reviews, it does appear quite heavy. The motorised head itself is nearly 2Kg, as is the main bit you hold at about 1.7Kg. It came with a great selection of attachments and TWO batteries which I wasn’t expecting but an added bonus.

When you’ve tried other cordless vacs you soon see their failings. However, apart from the weight I can’t find anything irrirating about this Shark.

If you want to spend around 300 for a cordless vac, this has to be the best available today. It won’t break the bank but it will develop your arm muscles.

A great cordless for its price.
I am very pleased with this Hoover. It is manouverable, very easy to use and suitable for a variety of situations. The pet hair adaptor is great for the stairs. My only reluctance when buying was its weight but it’s performance compensates for any extra weight it’s powerful motor adds overall. Definitely recommend it.

Love it!
Was toying between Dyson or Shark but went with Shark and very happy with it. The twin battery pack is great. Think it’s slightly heavier than the Dyson which my mum and sister have but they actually prefer my Shark now. I think the anti hair wrap helps with the hair but doesn’t mean there is no hair getting caught. Love the bendy feature meaning I can get under the sofas and beds and not too tricky on the stairs either.

Good cordless
Really pleased with this hoover. It was easy to set up and came with really useful attachments.

Battery life is really good. Haven’t needed the second one yet.

Does a good job of laminate floors, bit weaker on carpet, but fine for a quick clean up between main hoove

2pug 2cats/no hair wraps around end tool BONUS
So we decided to upgrade our hoover.
after having a dyson v6 that sadly died on us something to do with the engine (we was fed up of having to keep cutting hair from around the end of the brush part anyway). We decided to pay abit more for the 80 min run time and pet tool.
The 80min run time Is due to them supplying 2 batteries and a dual charging station which is a brilliant idea as when one runs out you can change the battery over which is done very easily so each battery lasts approx 40min (lower if you run it on full power).
I love the lights on the head tool aswell as when I’m hoovering behind the sofa you can see right into the corners (see pics).
I have had to empty it once in one run as it got that much hair of our rugs which we did not think was there so powerful and no hair wrapped around the end rollers which is excellent, I like how it comes with a neat little bag to keep the attachments in.
Folds down for neat storage.
Overall worth buying.
1 downside is it’s slightly on the heavy side so if your on the older side or have arthritic/back problems this may be too heavy for you.
Ps we own 2 pug dogs and 2 cats that all heavily shed fur and yet after a good hoovering of house no hair/fur got wrapped around hoover head (see pics)

Would never have purchased a vacuum cleaner at this price but I have recently had back problem & thought I’d try it!! Great suction & light weight to use!! Would highly recommend it!!

Powerful, multi-purpose, hair-free hoove
Bought as a Christmas present and so has been used for a good 3/4 months now – faultless. The lights on the head make it so easy to see dust meaning no spot is left unhoovered. It’s lightweight and is much quieter than previous hoovers I’ve used. With two batteries, we’ve never had to wait for charge before use, one charge will get us round a 3 bedroom house before it dies, and then the second battery is ready to go. With two women in the house, hair is quite frankly everywhere, but have not once needed to cut hair out the roller. All the add on nozzles turn the hoover into a handheld, making hoovering any part of the house and car a breeze. Being someone who’s sworn by Dyson hoovers for so long, this Shark hoover has been really impressive and would definitely buy again.

Super vacuum, unfortunately didn’t suit my needs, I’m arthritic.
The Shark vacuum is good but I found it made my hand, wrist & arm ache after using it. The battery being at the top by the handle adding extra weight, I have arthritis in my hands & body which doesn’t help. My youngest daughter liked the Shark vacuum & took it off my hands, she loves it. My eldest daughter has also purchased a shark vacuum, she loves it too.
I have since purchased a lighter vacuum to suit my needs.

What a boon this cleaner is
Easy to handle, able to carry it upstairs without any problems, cleans stairs well, the only thing it didn’t like was the Christmas tree spines, but then what does? Very pleased with this cleaner.

I’ve only given this four stars because I havn’t fully tested this yet. I hoovered yesterday with a different brand but broke it. On receipt of this model I tested it on the thick pile carpet already done yesterday and you could see the difference. Putting this together and using it the design seemed very well thought out. Its as light as you could expect. Most of the upper weight is the removable chargeable battery and better weight than many others. The flexibility of its structure is a gamechanger for me. I’m not sure why the model with the extra tool is cheaper than the one without. It comes with a lot of tools to figure out. It seemed to have plenty power for the brush tool and the suction.

Shark cordless
I’ve always had a dyson, I bought my daughter in law a cordless shark for Xmas (she wanted one) I got curious, did a little research. My dyson gave up the ghost. So I bought this Hoover using the instalments option through Amazon. OMG I’m sorry this Hoover kicks Dysons out the park. It is so light weight fully assembled, I can carry it comfortably with one hand. Easy to charge (two batteries are so beneficial). The suction power on par with dyson. I’m converted…to be fair I went from Henry’s for years to Dysons and now I’m settled with Sharks.

Efficient vacuum - best I’ve ever had
Excellent vacuum especially for hard floors.
Heavier than my old Dyson & Miele but much more efficient. Pet hair brush worked well. Easy to change suction when moving from hard floor to carpet. Extra power pack was a boost when cleaning the whole house . Compact when stored. Definitely recommend this vacuum

Amazing, Brilliant, Must Buy!!!
This vacuum has changed the game for me, it gets even the finest dust (flour fine) out of carpets, simply amazing! its great that it comes with 2 batteries so when one has ran out you can easily swap it for another, and the cordless feature is so handy, it makes all the difference not having a long cord trailing behind you, or somehow getting in front and being sucked up the vacuum! the life span of each battery is quite good too, I can easily vacuum my whole house upstairs and downstairs on just 1 battery (for reference I have a medium sized 4 bed) which shows how good this vacuum is. The interchangeable heads are also useful, especially when doing the stairs, or high corners, the own downside of this vacuum is that I’ve found it a bit heavy to use when doing the whole house, so I have to keep swapping my arms when using it so they don’t start to ache, however id that’s more of a me problem with not being very strong haha! the more I use it, the more muscle I will build and eventually it won’t feel as heavy, however for the older generation who buy this, I would definitely recommend taking this into consideration, as I know for sure my nana wouldn’t have a chance with this vacuum, especially if you’re shorter too (5ft or less).
