This was a replacement for a similar model. It was seasonably priced, came on time and does everything I need it to.
Well, it looks great and cooks my dinner, whats not to like…. Could do with a slow cook function for lamb but hay

Have had a previous model for nearly thirty years so thought I would stick to what I know and trust. This is just a larger capacity than the previous one I owned. Heats up very quickly and is very efficient on all modes. My only negative comment would be that the insulation is not as good as my previous model and the worktop and surrounding area becomes quite hot.
very noisy after 5 mins use. hate to think what noise level will be after long spell. difficult to read icons due to light reflection.
The second one we have had, bought another after 10 years but it was faulty after 6 months, returned and had an instant full refund, ordered the later model as this model is discontinued.
Like the size,menus and look.can’t understand why the clock was removed from this model and it is a tad noisy under power.
I researched combo microwave ovens when our basic microwave died. This one came well up in the ratings, so I bought it.
I am now a satisfied customer. it takes a bit of getting used to, I thought the controls a bit quirky ,but once you get used to them they are straightforward. But cooks great and is very efficient.
Though this is the second one, The first one had some sort of fault and I had to return it.
This product is used nearly everyday with either micro waving a quick meal, cooking a pizza or baking/roasting. The pre programmed selections for cooking and defrosting work well although some food’s need to be checked before removing from the process but this could be due to other factors.
Good microwave. But not as good as the older model I had before this one .can not seem to be able to cook cakes in this one.Good for roasts
This is the third of this model I’ve bought in the past 30 years. Does everything I’ve wanted it to including a smallish turkey. Cook a chicken in 25 minutes on combi. Average life of 15 years can’t be bad
Buzzing noise now and then when opening door and started to turn itself off while cooking at 200c after ten minutes,only happened once so far.
My last combo lasted 20 years..
This is the 3rd one of these I have had, just moved so left old one behind, probably not quite as good now made by different manufacturer , quality poorer, early days will see how it goes, I don’t like the ‘ new style racks’ luckily I kept the ones from my previous one !
I have had sharp combi microwaves for years I wouldn’t have any other. I am disabled and can’t bend down so this is ideal being on the work top , I have cooked everything in them ,it’s easier to clean than a normal oven as well which is a bonus. I have recommended to various people and one friend bought one and she wouldn’t be without hers either .

I have had one of these for many years and have taken my old one to work and bought the new one for home, I nearly didn’t buy this after reading some of the negative reviews, I can only suspect these people must have had faulty items as this is the best combination microwave you can buy, the oven is excellent.
Purchased for parents to replace their old/same model of approx 10 years old, which had become faulty on the microwave function. Didn’t have to be without too long as delivered earlier than stated and working well.
as our last Microwave was a sharp product, it has served us well since 2005, I purchased from Amazon as they give a very good service , and the price is very fair.
I bought this item knowing it had been used (maybe) In fact it hadn’t been used at all (no scratch marks on the plug pins, and plate and carrier wheels still factory sealed) there was slight cosmetic damage to the corner of the outer panel, so I unscrewed the outer panel screws, and with a little pressure pushed the panel back into shape tightened the screws and “hey presto” job done. plugged it in cooked my porridge for breakfast, it works perfectly well, and saved a few Bob too..
This is my fourth! I have two at home and never use my normal ovens. One is in my holiday home in France as an oven and the last one I have given to m daughter. It has two proper oven shelves as well as two round ones of differing heights. It works brilliantly as a normal oven and I worry about it being discontinued! The only weakness seems to be the digital readout which can eventually start to disappear bit by bit.
Would be 5 star if they had said it is rear vented so you need a lot of space above i
Ordered 10 pm Thursday arrived Saturday 12 noon , a slight dent in the side but is was 50 cheaper than others , it replaced my old Sharp 900 watt one that I had had around 3/4 years , tried to look up Amazon’s old purchase’s but could not locate it, so not sure how exactly the age off the old one was , so ordering same cooker I have a spare turntable , hope this one last longer than the last one
For a large family i would recommend it as it fits big utensils for heating food
If you like crispy baked potatoes (I microwave large potatoes for 4 mins/lb then combi on default setting for 20 minutes) and superfast roasts, use the combi setting, it is totally excellent. Good recipe book. I hope they keep making them for years to come. Can’t recommend highly enough.

My latest purchase is for my own mother who doesn’t now require the use of a domestic oven and she loved ours so much when she stayed over at Christmas that this is the reason for this purchase.
My first oven was actually given away to my sister-in-law as the illuminated display was going a bit dim. The oven is still going strong.
4 ovens and no complaints, means I can honestly say I don’t know of a better oven for the price or reliability.
Will Cook a frozen chicken or leg of lamb in less than an hour, to perfection you have never seen from your domestic oven. Defrosting is a thing of the past.
Baked potatoes done on the automatic cook function come out crispy skinned and so soft inside.
There are a number of automatic cooking modes for frozen, chilled meals. Cooked by weight input.
Use it like a domestic oven, or combination of Microwave and oven, or Grill and Microwave, or grill on its own, or just microwave.
Well done Sharp for manufacturing such a reliable capable cooking machine.
This is a very practical space saving option when you need a convection oven and a microwave and have limited space.It is a very efficient machine and extremely well made.I would thoroughly recommend the machine.If anybody has any questions please email me.
What a FANTASTIC product.
First I cook was a simple bake potatoe.
It took 28 minutes and the sikn came out so crispy. Just like if it was cook in the Oven!!!!

A repeat of my previous model, seven years ago. Lighter to lift, improved lighter weight ceramic turntable dish. And cheaper! Delighted!
17 months later, 13 09 2018: magnetron failed. Now it is a convection oven only. Very upset that I had only 17 months usage.
Panasonic next time.
Excellent product, we’ve owned the previous model for around 9 years before it finally gave out. This new one is going strong… Just the same build quality and immense number of features… we would probably never use!

I have had one of these ovens for years, so I know its a great little addition to my kitchen so much space for a combination Oven I use it all the time. Although the oven the door is not sitting completely flush on one end.
Excellent combination microwave, cooks food evenly and is very easy to use. It has a large capacity and is also very easy to clean. Great price on Amazon at the time of purchase. I Highly recommend this product.
This is the second one of this model we have, the first is still in daily use after 15 years. The display has lost some of the definition but other than that it is still working fine. The new one is working great.
What a beast this thing is! It was definitely worth the money for the extra space, just make sure you have enough room in your kitchen! The only complaint I have is the cooking / kitchen timer can only go up to 99 minutes.
It is much bigger than its predecessor, but that’s okay because it means that stuff I’d previously have to put in a normal oven can now go in this one.
The one real downside is that the cavitron that generates the microwaves is indeed very noisy but, as that is only being used for a few minutes at a time, I can forgive that as the oven, in all its various modes, provides excellent results.
If it lasts anywhere near as long as its predecessor I’ll be well chuffed.
This thing is built like a tank and once you get used to it is brilliant. Should have bought one years ago.
Check that it is in first class condition. once returned and replaced with an undamaged one we love it. Very good size and plenty of functions for all uses. Amazon were superb and replaced it within 2 days.

I’ve been using this microwave as a sunstituteam main oven while remodelling over 6 months. It is a brilliant microwave and can fully do a while roast chicken in 40 min on combination cooking and does a great job of it.
The main downside is its difficult to imagine just how big and heavy it is. The pictures don’t do it justice. If you have a large instrustrally styled kitchen it will feel right at home. I’m afraid though that in our new farmhouse style kitchen my wife has already expressed her desire to get rid of it in favor of a smaller regular mocrowave
Had heard of one or two not so good reviews but have to say I’m well impressed with it and very happy. I haven’t used our normal oven since and is quieter and quicker than our oven
Came well packaged in a very big box but this is a proper job combi oven and is built very well and fits the largest of items in, even a very large pizza ! so exceeds all expectations, glad I spent the extra money
This is a great microwave oven grill Comby that you could cook a chicken and it’s got a fantastic array of features including a plastic turntable that you can remove and clean very silly it comes with all the modern utensils inside in respect to the two trays for grilling and two trays for the oven as well
This was a replacement for an earlier model of the same Combination Microwave.
Does not have all the functions of the earlier model (example no clock or auto-timer for specific meal types).
It does however ‘do the job’.
I threw away my normal old oven when this was delivered Im doing ok.Love it.I love it when it tells you what to do.Couldnt believe it..

is bigger than expected, haven’t get tested all the functions of this appliance, did notice that when using oven/convection it did not cook throughout the frozen ready meal, was still cold in center of dish.
This is my third Sharp of this same model as its so great! Large enough for me and my husband without having to use my main oven. It’s brilliant in every way and I can’t find any negatives – hence I keep buying them!. The last one had a couple of issues so decided time to replace and again I am delighted with this new oven as always.
The defrost function drives me mental, it will not simply run a defrost cycle, it is determined that you should attentively turn your food every minute or so. I understand that this is the correct, even and most effective defrost cycle, but I am not going to “remove any defrosted parts” to a separate dish every minute. so if you set a defrost of 10 mins expect to have to go back to it constantly. We now set a low microwave power to defrost untended, I will admit though, if you follow the defrost to the letter you would never know it defrosted in a microwave.
Second utterly rage inducing thing which is not as easily avoided is the preheat function. Any oven setting initiates a preheat function that whacks the oven on full blast until it gets to the temp you asked for. For years I’ve never bothered preheating ovens and just thrown stuff in with a little extra added to account for the lack of preheat (yeah i’m lazy). But I would advise DO NOT put food in to cook while it preheats, it will incinerate it! this means that you have no choice but to set the temps, press go and return after the preheat (an unknown amount of time) has passed. So you can’t get in from work, throw food in and go for a shower, you have to set temp, stare at the wall for what feels like eternity waiting for it to beep, then put food in.
The size of this unit is what drew us to it as, until our kitchen is refurbished, we have no oven. It is great, but the previously mentioned two points will drop it a star as they really do waste my time.
This is the second one of this model that we have purchased. It does the job of microwave and oven very well. If you are only cooking for 1 to 3 persons, the oven is the ideal size and saves a lot of energy. Would recommend.

Very difficult to say much bad about it; Niggles: I would have liked a) a clock. b) ability to set time in seconds (only support smallest unit of 10 seconds). c) ability to run fan without light to dry after cleaning.
Just replaced one of them a couple of months ago with this model due to door seal failing, other one still working perfect.
Only parts replaced on 2 ovens in 9 years 1 baffle motor 20 + 1 microwave shields on each oven 2.
Very quick cooking using combined function eg 4 baked potatoes in 30mins.
The unit is easy to use but it has been found that cooking times have had to be extended on occasions, from those stated or suggested. It may be that we have owned it only a short while and are still learning. Glad we bought it though.

We previously had an older generation Sharp combi mircowave/oven which had been with us for around 5 years. The last one was great until the LED screen became impossible to read and so we decided to replace. Really happy with this new one so far and from experience the Sharp microwaves are some of the best out there (and nice a large for those Sunday roasts!)
So, I brought a completly different combi .. which lasted a couple of years …
Then I brought a new Sharp – same as no.1 … worked great – that was until daughter microwaved a pizza for 15 min rather than oven cooked … it was very black and sooty – but still worked fine. Internally there must have been a short though since it would occasionally short the fuse so we decided it was safer to buy a new one than keep replacing the fuse! It wasnt the ovens fault and daughter since realises the error of her ways!
So, third identical one – it is the biggest combi oven on the market – it has a great oven range and cooks perfect (unless you micro pizza for 15min!).
Oh, I should say apart from a hob and teefal ‘fryer’ I dont use anything else. I have never had a ‘traditional’ oven – this can cook a family roast – in fact if you do the chicken on the ‘set program’ it is heavenly!
I would highly recommend … nothing more to add! Now press buy!
The defrost function is really a life saver, taking meat straight out of the freezer and being able to cook it after 10 minutes saves a lot of hassle.
One negative point is that it is quite noisy at at times, but then again I don’t think you can buy a silent microwave. Its not that much of a problem but just wanted to highlight that, also it has quite a large back, if your trying to fit it into a cabinet or restricted space. We tried to fit it into our cabinet but for one, the door handle protrudes outwards so closing the cabinet door was a problem, we had to cut out the back of the cupboard to make it fit. So warning again, it is much larger than you would think, factoring the door handle especially so the measurements they provide are a bit short.
The microwave itself comes with 2 microwavable baking trays, a round microwavable plate and a two tier metal microwavable stand. For what your getting i would say this is pretty good value for money. It really fits in well with most kitchen decor theme.
Ordered this on Friday late PM with free delivery and it arrived today (Tuesday) lunchtime. It’s a replacement for an older version of this 40l behemoth (R953) which gave up the ghost last week after over a decade of heavy duty service. There are some cosmetic changes but it seems to be very similar and will hopefully serve us just as well.
his is my first combi mircowave and had thought it would take me a while to get the hang of it, however to my surprize the instructions are easy to follow. My only concern is its size, as it is more than double the size of my the mircowave I am replacing. My fault to be honest should have paid a little more attention, however after a couple of days I found a home for it in my kitche
Overall very pleased. Looks nice and does the job. Easy to set up. Good quality materials.
Dislike: Can’t set the timer for more than 60 minutes.
Getting the oven to pre-heat (convection) means remembering to press the buttons in a different order.
A little bit slower / less fierce than the Panasonic model I had before – perhaps because of the size, which may also explain why it takes quite a long time to heat up.
The best part is that the inside is huge and will take large dinner plates plus oval dishes without any problems. Great for a family of 5 with three growing teenage boys.
The machine comes just short of the edge of a standard work top and the height just fits under the wall cupboards. It is nice and quiet when cooking. The only thing you have to be aware of is that when it has finished cooking it only “pings / beeps” once and does not give any reminders it has finished (my old micro wave used to re-beep every minute to remind), but this is minor compared to the pros.
The delivery service was excellant and the price very good. – would highly recommend both machine and seller!
