How long should I leave my rolled mattress before sleeping on it?
You should unroll your rolled mattress on a bed in a warm room 24 hours before use. By placing it in a warm room, the mattress recovery time will be faster. You should not remove the cover until it has been left 24 hours.
Will my mattress smell?
It’s quite normal for new mattresses to have a slight odour when it is unpackaged, however it is nothing to worry about and by airing the mattress, you will find that any odours will pass.
How do I clean my mattress?
We always recommend using a mattress protector. You should not use detergents or chemical cleaners on your mattress as this may damage the fabric and stitching. Please do not remove the cover to clean the mattress, the cover is not removable.
Can I roll up the mattress for storage?
We use specialist equipment to roll a mattress in our factory. Please do not attempt to bend or re-roll your mattress yourself.

Great but needs a few days to air.
Great but needs a few days to air as when you first unwrap there’s a strong-ish glue smell. After a few days it seems to go (or you just get used to it). Apart form that, it’s a great comfortable and supportive mattress.

A good qualty who searches for a hard bed
I am happy with my bed. A bit harder but I prefer this for my pains. My pains decreased while I am using this bed. They say there is 7 zones. At first Idid not imagined but when I begin to use the bed I understand what is going on. The bed takes the shape of the body.

Bit sceptical when in arrived in such a small package, but within 12 hours it was normal size and NO nasty chemical smells often associated with foam mattresses
Hard in the middle
It’s good value for money, but the mattress appears hard in the middle and softer on the sides. You tend to fall to the left or right depending on the side you lay.
I don’t agree it helps your back. To be honest mine has got worse since using it.
Worth every penny......
This was the only complete Foam mattress i found, it is so comfortable, i am disabled and have an adjustomatic bed where both the head & foot of the bed both rise & fall so sprung mattresses are not allowed just in case the springs go through the bottom of the mattress into the mechanism. I would recommend this mattress to everyone.

Good nights sleep
Purchased for a young child and an older child’s bed and they are very happy with their mattresses they fitted both the bunk beds and the bed frame equally it did smell awful for the first few weeks after opening the bag but afterwards it went away it feels like a memory foam mattress and our children said that they all enjoyed their sleep there is literally no noise whatsoever when moving around unlike the spring type mattresses all in we are extremely satisfied with them.

Ignore the bad reviews
I’m actually convinced that people like to moan for no reason. So I bought two of these mattresses, a single and a double. And let me tell you they are GREAT especially for the price! i unwrapped it, let it lay FLAT for 24 hours and within 10 it has already become super big. It’s like sleeping on a cloud and super comfortable. 100% recommend.

It took about 3 days to fully expand!! We are really happy with price and quality . I feel the mattress meets our needs – my husband is 14 stone and myself 12 stone. We both feel supported on this mattress and sleep very well

After reading reviews I wasn’t expecting much but for the money mattresses were ok. I ordered two in the European single size for my sons IKEA bunk beds and they fitted well. Decent thickness/firmness and sons said comfortable. Not sure how well they would last for a heavier adult but overall I’m happy with the purchase and they were delivered on time.
This mattress is everything I hoped it would be.
I liked the price, and comfort of this mattress. I’ve left the pain relief rating section of this review blank because i had no pain to begin with. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.
Not as thick as you expec
Initially tried it over another mattress, it felt very soft and soggy. Then put it straight onto slats, what an improvement, it is very comfortable, the morning aches and pains caused by an accident are gradually disappearing and the quality of sleep has much improved. If the slats can be felt, perhaps a sheet of hardboard with air vent drilled into it might help.
Had it a while and now, for me it has proved to be a 100% improvement in the length and quality of rest.

Very firm, and warm mattress
I love this mattress.
I have bought 3 of each different size (small double – king) over the years. It is nice and firm, holds it shape nicely, is nice and warm in the winter but not overly hot in the winter (you don’t submerge hugely into it).
I have rolled up my king using straps to transport it from house to house (in a mini) and the lack of springs makes it much lighter and easier to do so than a traditional mattress.
I’ve had some people say it’s a little hard, but with my back pain I need that support and not too much submersion. Only mattress is buy now

Soft comfortable mattress
We bought this as a mattress topper for a hard mattress that was on a low bed. The bed has transformed into something much softer and more comfortable to sleep on and the bed is now not too low. When we unrolled it there was a chemical smell that took about 3 days to dissipate and the mattress itself puffed up back to size in a few hours after unrolling

I haven’t slept as well as I have on this mattress, if you need a firm yet comfy mattress you won’t go wrong with this. I have been having back problems and it’s slowly getting better now, the only problem I have is having to get up lol
Surprisingly comfortable
After unrolling, we weren’t expecting great things to be honest. We read the reviews, and read the unpacking instructions and decided to give it extra time to expand, leaving it for two days and putting the central heating on. We are now two weeks into using it and it’s much comfier than our old sprung mattress was. Really pleased so far, so hopefully this opinion continues.

Bought this last week – was a bit concerned from the reviews (some good but some bad). I didn’t find the smell too bad, I’ve had more expensive mattresses that stunk for days and much worse – there was defo a smell but we aired for 24 hours and it was gone completely 3 days later. Size-wise it is indeed a European king (160cm) and while it’s not that deep compared to the Emma mattress (that we now have on our spare bed) it’s more comfortable than the Emma – we have a mattress topper which we’ve tried now on both beds and this one is defo better for us. All in all I’m happy with this mattress… hopefully it lasts the test of time

Came in a huge box, recommend having someone strong to help carry it!! I have had no problems with it and have slept on it for 2 months now. Light, easy to put the sheet on, though this does mean it scootches down the bed a wee bit! Just have to keep pushing it up every couple days

Comfy mattress
Despite being described as medium this is quite a firm mattress and I have slept well on it so far. I’m disappointed that the product description says the mattress is 24cm thick when it clearly states on the packaging it is only 20cm thick. This misinformation led me to purchase this mattress as seemed better value than the more expensive 23cm mattress I was looking at when I’m fact the lower price was clearly due to lower quality. Apart from this I can’t complain.

Very comfortable firm mattress. I left it 24 hours after unrolling it to settle. You really couldn’t sleep on it during this time as it was deformed from the rolling process.
There was a slight smell which took a few days to clear but nothing to keep me awake. Just leave a window open obviously.

I was going to buy an easy transportable mattress for my girl (6 years) and this was on offer and gave it a try. She loves it and sleeps so much better, also her room can get warm so this mattress keeps her cool. I tried it myself, and it was very comfortable and supportive, maybe a tat to soft for me as I am 89KG but still loved it !

It’s safe to say that I’ve slept much better since I purchased this. It was well needed and easy to unbox and put on bed frame. For the price of the mattress you can’t go wrong. It’s comfy, easy to handle and quite cheap compared to most mattresses. I also purchased the silent night mattress topper, which helped me as I had quite a firm mattress before and it adds a bit more firmness to the mattress if you don’t like the full memory foam effect.

First one arrived and didn’t deflate properly, the edges were stuck together so I contacted amazon and replacement arrived within 3 days. The defective one was picked up a week later with no problems. We’ve had the mattress for 3 years now and have no problems at all, this was purchased for the guest bedroom and received many compliments.
Remember to rotate it every few months for comfort and you will sleep like a baby. Highly recommend

Great mattress, apart from the smell
Speedy delivery. Very comfortable. But the smell! Yuk! We were warned this type of mattress which arrives folded up and pretty much vacuum packed has a smell due to the harmless gases used in the manufacturing/packing process, but were assured that the smell dissipates after a few days. Several weeks later and it still smells! In fact we can tell when our son has opened his bedroom door upstairs, as we can smell the mattress from the lounge downstairs!! Hopefully it will dissipate before too much longer. Shame, as I would otherwise have given it 5 stars.
Impressive
I’ve only slept on this 3 nights but I’m very impressed. I was sick and tired of my very expensive Tempur mattress. I was waking up each morning with a very sore lower back and just feeling stiff all over. So far with this new mattress I’ve had a definite reduction in back pain and stiffness. None at all this morning!! The mattress feels very firm when you first lie on it but it adjusts to your shape obviously giving you support where it’s needed. Don’t waste your money on expensive mattresses. Really impressed.

No more back pain!
I was worried about buying a mattress online, but I needn’t have. This mattress has been great. My back pain was gone after the first night, I sleep so much better and it’s so comfortable. I found the mattress a bit soft for the first couple of nights, but as time went on it became firmer. 10/10, I’m delighted with it, wish I hadn’t waited so long to get it. Arrived with next day delivery which was great, unrolled it and left it for 6 hours before sleeping on it. I can’t find fault with it, zero complaints, worth every penny.
No more back pain!
I’ve been having back pains for the last couple of months due to my old mattress so basically hadn’t slept for 2 months.I was losing the mind so bought this mattress on impulse and I can honestly say it’s the best mattress I have ever slept on.Left it for 24 hours before using,no funny smell or problem with the shape.It’s perfect,you sink right in and don’t want to get up it’s so comfortable.i have no backpain at all since using it and it’s only been one week.i actually look forward to going to bed now.Highly recommend!

Love it! Get it. For the price very good. Bought to lay over my rented flats matress in new flat in London have no were to store the original so just put this on top works fine gets a very high bed but like.. Very comfy. My mum couldn’t sleep on the string matress my land lord gave us. When helping me getting settled. She has a bad hip and loved this came in one day! Keeps me cool it was an extra bonus I didn’t expect and love that and super comfy thought too soft first days but now 3 month in I really love it and don’t want to be without it. Sturdy to sit and watch film and I can even put a cup of Tea on it its so sturdy. Very thick and deep. Like!

I would strongly suggest that you spend a good amount of money on your mattress instead of buying something cheap like this one. Although it is not too bad, it does dip a little bit in the middle and you can feel the stretch which I don’t know how bad it will be for your body in the long run.
It’s quite soft and you will definitely feel the bed slats when you fall on your bed etc.

Bought this initially for our motorhome, yet ended up using it for a month while we waited for our posh brand mattress to arrive.
I’m 6ft 7 and 22 stone, and even though this mattress is only roughly 10cm thick when fully risen, it did a respectable job of supporting my weight.
After around a week, I needed to buy a mattress topper because the thinness of the mattress was taking its toll on my shoulders, and with a topper added we slept on it every night for a month with no dramas.
I wouldn’t want to sleep on it permanently, but as a temporary mattress for a spare room or a caravan it does a great job.
Bliss at first then a nightmare.
Silent knight 3 zone memory foam mattress. We left this on the bed after arriving rolled up did not sleep on it for over a week. At first it was bliss I have two curves in my spine under right shoulder bade and lower back. I woke with no pain refreshed . But alas it didn’t last long after a few months I woke in pain after tossing and turning lying in a crater made by my bottom. The support seems to have gone and sags badly after 12 months. I don’t know the answer and I am sure my back is part of the problem. So I can’t recommend this mattress.
Mattress topper? Ideal for child, see photos
Despite knowing it was 14cm thick when ordering, it still surprised me how thin this “mattress” was. For my 6 year old daughter’s new high sleeper cabin bed, it is ideal for ceiling clearance and her small body and weight, but not sure how an adult’s weight would affect its long term firmness. Still, first night on it and my daughter says it’s really comfy, and I think so for me too. With quality mattress protector and thick sheets, this will be a keeper, but will update in few weeks regarding its longetivity, given some other reviews criticising its proneness to sagging and basically giving up! On plus side, there is NOT the slightest hint of chemical odour, given it is foam. Smells fresh and clean.
Decent mattress
I was a bit worried that it wouldn’t fit the bed having been rolled up for delivery but it expanded perfectly. This is only day 2 and it is lovely and firm. It was much thinner than I expected and as such there is a feeling of being quite low if that makes sense. But overall at this early stage I am happy with it.
A simple and comfortable solution for occasional usage
I bought this mattress for my Dad’s overnight carers in his spare bedroom, and it seems to have been fine for that. We put it on his existing 4 drawer divan base to replace his old mattress, and after a few hours it had expanded to full size. I didn’t notice any smells, which have been mentioned in other reviews. I haven’t slept on it myself, but his carers haven’t commented or complained, so I guess it must be OK. I will update this review after I’ve asked them what they think of it.
I bought the mattress as I had fallen and hurt my back. It was painful for approx 8 weeks. Meanwhile I was thinking about getting a new mattress as the one I had was at least 10 years old. Every morning as I tried to get out of bed my back was already be very sore. When I received Silentnight 3 Zone Memory Foam Rolled Mattress it was amazing. I had a fantastic nights sleep and when I got up the next day I didn’t have a sore back. After 8 weeks it had disappeared. I would recommend this to anyone that has back issues.

Originally had a Silentnight memory foam mattress (loved it) my mum decided (as I have rheumatoid arthritis) I needed a new mattress (didn’t) bless her, she ordered a Dormeo one (nightmare, don’t ask!!!!) all I wanted was my Silentnight Mattress, so rang them up, told them which one I used to have and was advised that the 7 zone one replaced my old model, cannot believe the difference a decent mattress makes to your sleep, this is so comfortable and fits a double bed frame perfectly, definitely medium/firm but supportive and when you are warm it doesn’t get too hot, a good 20cm deep so bedding fits perfectly, if you want comfort and support this is definitely worth a try, hopefully won’t ever need another mattress but if I do it will be another Silentnight…
Nice product all round
Bought this for grandson’s bed, who stays with us occasionally. Because of this I am limited as o what to say as I have not slept on it. We bought the single comfort foam version. We wanted one that did not cost the earth, but was not cheaply made. This is a well known brand and is well made and finished. Despite many talking about the smell this only had a ‘new’ smell when first unwrapped. It vanished immediately.

oh my, I spent ages picking and buying my previous spring sprung mattress and when finding a replacement went for this based upon reviews and ease of delivery (vacuum packed) and a few hours of research Online and Which). I enjoy sleeping on this mattress and I don’t find it overly warm to sleep on in the slightest.
Good mattress for the money
Possibly still early days but I’m not yet convinced over the long term benefits. Previously had a 3-zone Silentnight mattress for 6/7 years at home and 3-zone in our caravan. Both mattresses changed to 7-zone, large and king respectively, but I’m not yet convinced the new ones have the same comfort factor. That said, in terms of price and value for money, they suit us at a fraction of the cost of those from the new entrants in the market place
Bought this for my son. It was really easy to get upstairs, unwrap and put on the bed. He says it is very comfortable.
The only negative comment I would make is that it is not suitable for beds that don’t have solid bases and I can find no mention of this in the information provided on Amazon. It wasn’t until we had unwrapped it and read the instructions inside the wrapping that we realised. As my son has a bed frame rather than a divan we had to cover the slats with a sheet of mdf to prevent the mattress sinking through the gaps.
I have had my mattress now for 7 years in a months time and thought as it is now on its way out and I need a new one I could write a review about my experience of it.
My birthday is in April and my mum asked me as she always does what I wanted, there was no hesitation “a new mattress please” I asked, mine is sagging in the middle and uncomfortable now to sleep on and sit on as I can feel the bed box of the divan beneath me.
Going back 7 years, Mother asked me as she always did, what would I like for my upcoming birthday in April, at the time my husband and I were sleeping on an old sprung mattress we had, had since we got married 20 odd years before which poked and prodded you with the ends of the springs often leaving dents in the skin! It was very uncomfortable and even had holes in it where the springs ends poked through. I asked for a new mattress, I shared it with hubby but didn’t mind after all we both slept on it.
I found this one and liked the sound of it, I wanted memory foam because of my arthritis and had heaard it helped support the joints better and also preferred a foam one to a sprung mattress, this one was reasonable at the time and I picked it.
It arrived 2 days after my birthday, it was in a strong plastic bag 4 ft 6 tall and rolled up in a tight bundle, we opened it on our bed and left it for about 18 of the 24 hours it recommended. With a house full of kids and no spare room we had to sleep on it that night, it seemed fine like it had bulked back to its usual size and indeed it was.
Best nights sleep of my life (well one of them)
Husband said he felt like he was going to fall out of bed all night and after a week decided he didn’t like it at all, he complained it sloped down towards the floor and felt like he would end up on the rug each night, we started looking for a new sprung mattress this time.
I loved this one and didn’t want to change it , I had to find a way of making it feel secure for hubby at night so came up with an idea of putting the bed up on blocks of wood his side to slope the bed down towads my side as I was against the wall. It worked, Hubby was happy, I was happy, although more than once i woke up jammed against the wall, with him jammed against me as he had rolled down towards me during the night.
Fast forward to September of the same year (2013) Hubby dropped the bomb shell, said he was having an affair and was leaving. He walked out of my life that night and never came back. (there is a point to this waffle I swear)
I got very depressed and down and spent 2 years not leaving my bedroom apart from certain trips out with my son and for meals etc I started crocheting again to make myself feel better and found making blankets and baby clothes made me feel human again and made so many I started selling them at craft fairs. I would sit on the bed during the day with my crochet, in the centre of the mattress, my new place to lie now I had the bed to myself (star fish, star fish, snow angel!!) Bang in the centre of the bed, all 4ft 6 double bed to myself, bliss!!
One day as well quite by accident I found out why hubby felt like he was falling out of bed all the time, the side of each of the divan boxes (there are 2) is broken and the top, a hard dense cardboard is sagging down to the side where he slept and as he was heavier than I am he would lie on these parts and roll towards the floor, so it wasn’t the mattress not supporting him, it was the bed all along. Since hes left I have filled up the dips with, pillows and cushions under the mattress to hold it up, I dont sleep on that side anyway and being in the middle dont notice it at all. all is good, OK waffle over back to the mattress…
It has 3 zones, the top where your head lies, the denser middle where the weight of your body lies and the foot end where…..well yeah, you guessed it…..your feet lie. Due to the memory foam layer and the 3 zones its not supposed to be turned and topped and tailed like I did with the sprung one we had used for 20 odd years. I did however top and tail the mattress every year.
With me sat in the middle of the bed all day for 2 years and sleeping in the middle all night, the middle started to get pretty thin and this past year or so I started to notice as I got out of bed there was a dip in the middle.
If ever my daughters came to stay, (Christmas etc as by 2015 they had moved out of the family home into their own) my youngest would sleep in with me, they usually stayed 3 nights at most so we managed. 3 Christmases ago we woke up on Christmas morning staring at one another pressed forehead to forehead and my daughter said “mum, your mattress is dreadful, its time you got a new one” (well she said something else but I cant repeat it here) “plus you are so used to having the bed to yourself you keep smacking me every time you turn over and no offence I’d rather sleep on the floor tonight” She did, haha!! She shared the single air bed with her sister and it developed a puncture in the night and they woke up on the floor boxing day morning with a deflated mattress beneath them! That is a whole nother story…
Back to this mattress..
As I am writing this review I am sat in the middle of the bed (as usual!) with 3 old pillows and several old cushions between the mattress and the divan to try and fill up the dip!, its lumpy and bumpy and its getting harder and harder to fluff them up each week when I make the bed as they are getting pretty flat themselves….time I had a new mattress.
Both sides are fine however, they are comfortable to sit on, unlike the middle dip and feels like it did when it was new….mainly because I just sleep bang slap in the middle all the time and due to the dip you cant sit or lay on the sides without waking up having rolled into the dip. If you sit there with another person, you both end up in said dip, It is definitely not very comfortable anymore!
In conclusion. This is a very comfortable mattress, the memory foam is great for supporting my joints, the foam mattress below the memory foam is very supportive and indeed comfortable, I think mine got uncomfortable due to the 2 years I spent sat on it in the same place day and night and wore it out faster, I should really have got a new one 2 years ago when this was 5 years old. I think it would have lasted a good 8 years though had I not taken to my bed for 2 years after he left.
The 3 zones are a good idea but you cant really turn this to allow even wear making it last longer and the memory foam layer stopped you turning it over too. I think my next mattress will be a standard sprung one with a memory foam mattress topper to allow for the turning and topping and tailing of the new mattress to make sure it wears evenly so I wont be buying another one of these however I am glad I did as I have loved it its just as I have mentioned above being able to turn and top and tail it for a more even wear.
I really need a new bed too but that will have to wait a bit, so I will have to put up with the cushions and old pillows patching up those bits for a little longer.
Totally amazing, especially for the price.
It has done wonders for my partners back now if it could stop the snoring it would be a miracle worker 🙂
The mattress arrives all vacuum packed you could fit it in a original smart car. Once opened you have to leave it for 24 hours prior to use to grow to size.
Prior to this wonderful mattress he had been sleeping on a temper mattress famously good for bad backs and some mornings after a particularly heavy work out the night before he would be crawling around the house as he could not move his back any more than that.
The first night on it he’s back didn’t feel any worse than the last couple of weeks ( where he could barely move) even after a week it has been feeling better and better. He is managing to sleep through the whole night with out waking up in agony even after more strenuous work outs. I know this by the lack of ouch’s in the morning and the louder snoring all night.
Totally amazing for the price. I would recommend to anyone and also some ear plugs.
Super comfy
Some mixed reviews on this site caused some initial hesitation in purchasing but I eventually took the plunge.
My previous mattress was a memory foam but was about 12 years old so time to replace.
I’m so happy with this purchase. The mattress was ready to go about 6 hrs after unpacking. The matress is much lighter than the one it replaced, which initially was worrying but I need not had worried. It’s so comfortable and I could not notice any smells that some customers complained of.
In short I’ve upgraded my matress at half the price I paid for the previous. A great matress

Came vacuum packed, after unpacking a strong smell of alcohol filled the room probably because it was previously treated with Purotex, a 100 Percent natural solution as shown in the description, as guard against all kind of dust mites or any other infective threats might appear along use.
The smell faded away after the next few days of use, so don’t worry about it.
Let’s see how’s it doing with my 106 Kg. of body weight for the next two months, but right now I only can say :

Amazing mattress
Very comfortable mattress, the smell was very off putting for the first few weeks but now that’s gone I’m very impressed. It’s very comfortable and was a good price.
says to leave for 1-2 days to settle but as it was to replace my own mattress I didn’t have that option so was only left for a few hours, this did result in me being dissatisfied with the thickness of the mattress to begin with but by the morning (after me sleeping on it all night) it was a lot thicker and now normal mattress thickness

I bought this mattress 2nd time not because this is very high quality mattress but just because of its price and reasonable life based on the price. My weight is 75Kg and previous “same mattress” lasted for 12-16 months after which I felt like changing it. In the past, I have bought very pricey mattress but they start losing shape and giving painful nights after only 2 years so I dont see the point of buying expensive mattresses only for two years when I can buy the new mattress after 1 year and have painfree sleep on new mattress in the same price. It is hygienic, economical and easy on budget.

Excellant quality mattresses ( I bought 2 ) and I would definately have given it a 5+ but the chemicals they use to preserve the mattress lets off fumes, this is usual for a few days but this has been since December and its now February! There are still fumes albeit a lot less acrid. Great mattresses and amazing support, you cannot buy a single with the comfort of these but the smell!
Really good value for money..
To be honest, was a little skeptical on how good this would be, when I see the online sellers with their products for 4 or 5 times the price.
This write up is for the 7 zone, double.
Bought this almost as a temporary measure so we had something to sleep on during the period between getting a house, when the furniture arrived and we could buy a new mattress (wasn’t going to pay to keep the old mattress in storage).
Bough this particular one because it was well reviewed and it was on Amazon deal of the day. The thinking was that worse case, it was a temporary measure, and with the combination of the price, delivery and the fact it came rolled up and squashed… a no brainer..
Being packed and rolled made it easy to get it upstairs and into the bedroom. Once unpacked out of the plastic, it started to expand to the proper shape, after a few hours, it was pretty well there, just one corner which took longer.
There was no smell (I’ve read reviews of these mattresses having some chemical like smell that lingers for a few days, didn’t experience this at all).
We slept on this for about 2 months in total, and it was really comfortable. Its firm, which is what we both prefer.
This was September/October, so not the summer. Typically I get hot in bed, I’m one to throw the bedclothes off, but I did not feel this mattress was any hotter or uncomfortable than a regular type (something I’ve read as typical problem of memory foam mattresses).
First it was simply on the floor, then it was on ‘our bed’ which has a flat hard surface, so no real difference than the floor. It was always really comfy, I was really pleasantly surprised.
Once a new (and correct sized) mattress arrived (John Lewis home brand, simply amazing), this Silentnight one was put into the spare room. It now on an Ikea bed (a double which is why we bought this size), which has the slats which are ‘rolled down’ the bed. We have had a few guests stay, nobody has complained about it, and we have had one complement.
This was a good buy.
Why all the bad reviews?
Have been using this mattress for over a month now and have nothing but high praise for it.
Mattress arrived on time and was easy to unwrap. Once in place it expanded to its correct size in about 12 hours. It is well made and the correct size. Best of all it is really really comfortable. I look forward to jumping into bed of a night and always have a relaxing sleep.
We have another memory foam mattress from a well known high street store. That mattress cost three times the price of this mattress and is (in my opinion) no better (or no worse). This mattress does have a slight smell, as most do but it left after a week or so.

Got this after Xmas and up until now it’s been very very comfy. The process of letting the thing expand after unpacking was a bit odd and it took some undoing of the cover (don’t remove altogether) to get the corners to look like the one in the picture Oh and it did / does still smell a bi

We bought this mattress for our guest bedroom we had someone sleep on it four days later and they said it was very comfy if I had one thing to be negative about it was the new smell the leaflet said it would go within 24hrs it was more like 3days but fine after that I am pleased with the purchase .
Comfy and worth the price and Increased Sleep Comfo
it came on time and we’ll packaged. It puffed up to proper size quicky and had no visual defects. The first night wasn’t great mostly due to not being used to sleeping on it. However each subsequent night has only gotten better. I have a substantial decrease in my back, shoulder, and hip pain when I wake up. I am a back and side sleeper and my wife is a side and stomach sleeper and we have both really loved sleeping on it. It’s comfy and supportive without being too hard or soft. It is squishy and comfortable but dense enough that it is super supportive and cradles the body.
The difference is incredible! I really didn’t have high expectations, just wanted it to be a little better. It is *almost* like a normal bed now! This pad is very supportive, and very soft and comfortable. I’m really impressed, this was so worth it!
Deep sleep and very comforting
I’ve been sleeping so deeply since getting this mattress. Initially it felt unusual as it’s quite different to the pocket-sprung mattress we were used to. It’s a little like when you lie in damp sand – comfortably moulded but malleable and springs back when you move. I’m highly sensitive to smells but didn’t find an issue with any chemical smell as other reviews have noted. A good night’s sleep is really important to me and I’m very happy with this purchase.

I’m now in bed. Fell asleep 30 mins ago. Woke up to the sound of the tv and noticed already that my hips do not hurt!. I do feel like I’m slanting one way but maybe I just need to get used to the fact I have a decent mattress now, after a year of waking up with spring indents on me from my old mattress this is feeling like heaven

Can’t really comment as this was brought for guest room and has only been used once. On arrival when it was unrolled the top right hand corner was a bit flat it also had a smell that is still there even though sheets and quilt is on. Firm feel mattress, worth the price.
Decided to upgrade my mattress as the one I had prior the springs felt as if it was coming through the mattress and it was too soft for my liking.
Anyway, I got this mattress as it’s a brand I’m familiar with and it’s everything I asked for. Firm feel, good night sleep and overall very pleased. I was surprised how it came as it arrived in a very tight package but after slicing the package open, I had to quickly lay it on my bed base and within 5 minutes, it had pretty much raised to full size.
Definitely superior than a spring mattress as being a dog owner, my dog doesn’t make the mattress lopsided as well as doesn’t disturb me when sleeping.
We bought this mattress to put on an IKEA bed base. This has wooden slats for the mattress to rest on. The mattress is very comfortable for sleeping (We chose the medium firmness). However I had to knock a star off the rating as, when sitting up in bed, I could (just) feel the boards beneath. The mattress could do with being 30-50mm deeper, for me (90kg). Lighter people will probably be ok.
For my 6 year old’s new bed
My son’s single bed broke so we decided to get him a double bed as he would probably need/want one as he gets bigger. So we needed a new mattress for his double frame.
If he has a nightmare etc we often snuggle with him in his bed so we wanted something nice and comfy for us all! . This mattress seemed to be the best memory foam one you could get for a smaller budget. We have an Emma mattress which is thicker and feels more substantial than this Silent Night one but Is a lot more expensive. This mattress is very comfortable sometimes I even prefer it to my Emma. The only one downside (for me) is that if you’ve slept in it all night the warmth of your body moulds the mattress and you do ‘sink in’. some people might like this, but I prefer it to stay more firm and bounce back quicker.
ONLY measure 18cms not 20cms
I read a lot of comments to be sure whether to get this…and i don’t regret getting it! BAD POINTS- The corners did have a crease in them when unwrapped but did go away after 72hrs and it did settle down,so be patient like i did.But it ONLY measures 18cms not 20cms as described so i gave it 4 stars.GOOD POINTS- It’s a lovely bed indeed and a delight to sleep on,although strange at first to sleep it wasn’t uncomfy at all.After 5 days sleeping on it,it’s amazing and i do recommend the comfort of it but the 2 cms thinner than described….? Up to you.It’s quality and a great comfy mattress thou folks.
Very happy with this mattress.
On arrival the mattress has had all the air sucked out and at first, I thought I’d been sent the wrong size. It was fine. Needs a day or two for the shape and size to regain maximum proportions. As with all foam mattresses there’s a strange chemically smell…leave it to sit on the floor or bed and after a few days the smell goes.
It’s softer than memory type mattresses but supportive and more comfortable. I much prefer this foam than the memory foam type.

This matters is one of the best things I have purchased this year. So comfortable and really does keep you cool. It’s soft where you need a soft bit and hard where you need it hard. Never slept so well. Feels like giving you a hug whilst keeping you comfortable.highly recommended
Good nights sleep.
This made a huge difference and has improved my sleep massively since moving from a traditional spring bed.
I would recommend to anyone, my only complaint is that the smell of foam is quite overpowering and my room still smells of foam now (over 1 month since purchase.
I aired it out for 24 hours as suggested but that made no difference.
Ideal for my 5 year old
My 5 year old loves his new mattress and it’s quite light for me to fit the sheets on. The only issue I’ve noticed is there is a sort of hole at one side on the edge like some of the foam is missing. Not sure if it’s something to do with being folded up?
He’s slept well on it and says it’s very comfy. If you where a larger build I’m not sure it would be suitable due to the edge compressing when you sit up to get out of bed. Over time it would damage I’m sure.
All in all it’s great for my son who’s 5

I know there is lot of bad review on this mattress but me and my boyfriend love at first when it comes rolled up it not very deep mattress and we thought it was topper at first but come as we got to lye down on it we fell in love with it and it take some time getting use to it but it does what it meant to do I had mattress with spring and memory form and was giving me bad neck ache but after one sleep iv woke up feeling amazing and no pain what so eve

Not really! This mattress is great! I am currently sleeping on the floor due to a new born taking my place, I have no back issues and it’s comfortable, what more can you ask for?!? I’ve been using it for nearly a year now and have absolutely no complaints. Slimmer than the norm which at first raised questions in my head but I can confirm that I have had no issues at all. I am 5′ 10″ and weigh 11 stone and it’s comfortable for me
My girlfriend loves this mattress and always has a better nights sleep when she stays at mine. I sleep a lot better in the bed as well but I am one of those people that can sleep anywhere…
My girlfriend always complained about how much her bed at uni makes her back feel so the first thing she’d do when she got to mine was jump onto the bed and make a massive sigh of relief because it’s so comfy! It’s coming up to a year since I’ve had this bed and it still hasn’t lost shape despite the fact I sleep on one side and she’s stays over every weekend. It’s really good quality and the price I paid was a bargain I think! I’ll be buying another one for the spare bedroom when we can be bothered to get a better bed for it.

I don’t normally write reviews as I can’t be bothered but I had to write this one. I have just come back from holiday and our apartment had one of these mattresses, now I have a bone condition that causes me awful joint problems and back pain and most days I take time to get walking properly and I’m only 44. We have a fairly hard spring mattress at home and when I slept on the apartment one OMG I went the whole week with no pain at all and was walking normally when I got up! First time in years! NO JOKE one night back on my home one and I’m climbling out of bed like a geriatric! No joke I bought this mattress and put it on my credit card such is the need! Don’t think, buy it!

Was a little apprehensive about buying this mattress because of a few poor reviews but so glad we ignored them ,mattress came and we unrolled and left it for 2 days to expand then put on the bed base at first we thought this is going to be hard but no it was perfect from the first night (usually you need a night or two to get used to it but this was good from day one),enough support with enough softness. I have had no problems with my back or my hips since having this mattress, which has been 2months now. GREAT Mattress
A really comfy mattress!
Really pleased with this mattress. It is just a pure mix of different memory foam, so there is no springing, which is a good think because we have tried mattresses that are a combination of both and they are a disaster, because they are neither one thing or the other properly. So if you want just a decent foam mattress at a really good price, they don’t get much better.
First off the chemical smell is still quite strong so much it has permuted right through the house I had to leave in the spare room for a few days before fitting it to the bed. Even now the smell still goes through a top blanket and sheet. Thant said my neck and shoulder ache has almost gone. Next time I will go back to a normal mattress just because of the smell issue.

I realize it’s only early days yet but I have to admit to being slightly flummoxed by some of the negative feedback with regard to this mattress. I have just had the first decent nights sleep in ages and It seems perfectly ok to me but I guess time will tell. It did smell a bit but nothing that open windows couldn’t cope with. Also it may be coincidence, but I haven’t woken up with a cricked neck this morning which has for me become the norm for a number of years. I always thought it was my pillow but maybe not. The only thing I will say though is that its advertised as 20cm depth and its only 17cm, now whether that is due to its newness I don’t know but it still doesn’t detract from the comfortableness of the mattress.

I bought the single mattress for a loft bed, and it is supremely comfortable. It comes rolled in a tough cellophane bag, and yes it smells a bit when you get it out, but this is gone within a few days. It fits great with a nice 18cm depth which is perfect for bunks and high risers. It’s super comfortable. Quilted cover is soft, and the bed’s foam core itself is the absolute perfect combination of resistance and comfort. It’s on the firmer side of medium which is perfect for adults. You possibly may want to go softer for younger kids. But regardless, anyone who claims they can feel the slats through it must either have put it straight on the bed an gone to sleep or be Giant Haystacks. You need to unroll and leave this for AT LEAST 24 hours to enable it to fully form before use. I’ve made that mistake before with other mattresses, where you can end up ruining them by not allowing them to reach their proper thickness. So I’m not sure how the larger size mattresses would fare, typically for doubles or greater it’s advantageous to have a coil sprung core to ensure the bed doesn’t end up sagging in the middle, but certainly as a single mattress this has got to be nigh on impossible to beat for the money.

This is not the first foam mattress I bought. Previously, however, I’ve never tried two-layer ones. So, from this aspect this one was my first-time experience and I must say — I’m impressed. And not just me. In general — the support is firm and comfortable, thanks to the top, slightly softer layer. No vibration when my wife turns or gets up. Perfect solution!
It costs every single penny! Highly recommended.
