Worth the money
Quality quilt. Well worth the extra cost which isn’t much considering this will last years. I have the 4.5 tog quilt and this has worked well in the hot summer evening of southern England in 2022.
Worth the money.
It’s been a while so I thought I’d treat myself to a new duvet. I am no expert so began doing some research, which lead me to Hungarian Goose Down. Yes it’s expensive compared to a normal duvet, but the difference in the quality is worth the extra money. It alleviates the age old problem of duvet slippage, this is when after a few sleeps and making the bed you find the duvet not quite sitting in the corners anymore leaving you with just duvet cover and no matter how much shaking it never quite sits correctly. This duvet is a nice weight and thickness that it stays in position. If you can afford spending over 100 on a duvet then I would definitely go for this one, besides how often do you buy a duvet for you bed.

It's been good for me
Unsure what all the bad reviews are about. I bought mine 2 years ago and it’s been great. This is my second Snuggledown feather quilt and both have been fine, no problems at all.

After reading many many reviews about this product I decided to make a purchase. It seriously was the best sleep I have had in ages! It’s so well regulated to differing temperatures, not too hot not too cold regardless of the outside temperature. It does rustle a lot but I like that, it reminds me of a high quality hotel bed cover. I’ve already recommended it to several people! Well done, excellent product!

I read a few reviews on this item some good some bad , if your expecting a thick puffy quilt then this isn’t for you as it’s not ,instead it’s for people who want a great nights sleep without the weight of a heavier feather and down ,they are surprisingly thinner than you’d expect but by no means do they disappoint!the 10.5 tog I purchased is very warm it’s like sleeping under a cloud ! In our opinion it’s fabulous!

Well made, light weight & keeps one snug as a bug!. Didn’t realise how thin my old duvet was…well filled & felt fresh (no odours btw). Great price & quality.

I have had Snuggledown products before, and I wasn’t disappointed this time. I like the fact that they are British made, so very few air miles.
The quality of the product is terrific, absolutely no qualms in recommending this product. I bought pillows, too, and they are very good, too.

Our house is hot so I wanted a mid weight duvet for the Winter. Love this duvet. Soft and comfortable. Leaves nice lines on the bed. So cheap I will buy another rather than getting it cleaned as that costs more!
Very nice and warms duvet but needs time
This duvet obviously comes rolled and a bit compressed, therefore the filling is not 100% distributed when opened but once lied flat and wore for some days everything get even and settled and it’s a very good duve
Best winter 2021 purchase
I used it yesterday for the first time, I’ve felt asleep for hours. Keeps warm, confortable and fits perfectly my singlr bed.
Worth every penny!
If you live in a place where the winter gets bad (-10 C) then this is the right duvet. It’s light and very comfortable and soft! My 10 month old baby can’t get enough sleep on it. I did’t even put a cover on it he loves it like this.
Keeps you really warm but not sweaty. Paired with the right matress you’ll get a propper sleep!
Getting into bed has never felt so luxe
Based on previous reviews I took care of inspecting the seams and down/feather distribution inside the duvet upon delivery: no issue here, this looks and feels like a 5* hotel grade duvet.
Every single night I get into bed and congratulate myself on my choice, so lightweight yet so cosy!
It’s actually a tad too warm for me, should have gone with 9 Tog (I’m writing this in November and the heating is not on yet) but still, no regrets.
Love it, really happy with this purchase. Pair it with high TC cotton bedding for the ultimate “bug in a rug” experience.
Excellent value, perfect temperature level and super cosy
My search for a lovely fluffy duvet that doesn’t cost the world is finally over. After having experienced many fluffy clouds in hotels and Airbnbs around the world I knew my at-home experience could be so much better. Over the years I tried a cheapo version I found on Amazon that promised lots of down content, but it was an utter disappointment. I then just gave up, thinking that I would eventually have to cough up John Lewis prices for the most deluxe of duvets. Luckily though with winter coming and a partner complaining about our old duvet I had a change of heart and spotted this Hungarian goose down duvet (80% down, 20% feathers) at a price that while not cheap was at least reasonable. The 13 tog version would likely have brought even more fluff at only 10 more, but we went with 10.5 tog in the end so we could have an all-year duvet and not overheat. Still plenty of fluff, so very happy now. Not smelly either. We’ve had it for a few weeks now and have no complaints of any feathers coming out anywhere. The only thing that maybe surprised me a little was that the stitching all around seems to be done on top of some down, so it doesn’t look particularly clean. Once it’s in a cover though you’ll obviously forget about the optics fairly quickly. The stitching itself appears to be just fine as it is, so if this is the only compromise to make to get an affordable Hungarian goose down duvet then that’s fine with me.
The cat loves it too.

Best Duvet I have ever owned. Hungarian Goose down is so warm and comfy.
I have actually slept better under this than any previous down duvet. This is everything it says it is. The quality is fantastic, well sown into fully filled squares, covered in white material with a check design on it.
I wonder if some customers have accidentally bought fakes on this listing as I cannot believe some of the reviews, I am sure Snuggledown didn’t produce some items in the photos or described.
I suggest checking the box and labels when it arrives, if it isn’t Snuggledown it should be returned for a refund. Refunds are very good on this sight, even if not within 30 days I’m sure they would refund if you discovered it wasn’t Snuggledown as advertised.
Warm and Cuddling
I did not have any issue with feathers trying to kill me, poking through the cotton layer, or feathers trying to restyle my bedroom.
I feel that the duvet is warm, quite heavy but I like it like this, and it is good for the price.
I have immediately used a duvet cover with it, but I cannot believe that who is complaining about it losing feathers was not using one! So I may just be lucky

Perfect replacement for summer quil
I was looking for a good value warm quilt for the winter that would be thick but also light and fluffy. I avoid feather/down so was looking for a decent polyester equivalent. And what a find. A total bargain, bought a second quilt for my son’s bed. Thick and light and so bouncy. Cannot believe the quality for the price. One downside – cannot get out of bed in the mornings! ZZZzzzzz!
Absolutely load these duvets
Quality cotton cover given the price I am very pleased with them. Lightweight and as I would expect warmth wise for 10.5 tog. I’ve bought 3 now and wouldn’t hesitate to buy more when needed. Over the years I have purchased some very expensive natural and synthetic duvets but this one is the best for the money as it costs the same as getting the others dry cleaned!

This quilt is brilliant, its soft, and lightweight. It is a bargain, I have had quilts double the cost, and not as good, it is quality. Love it, I will be buying more.
Brilliant quality
Some duvets you can buy have a horrible cheap cover but not this one. It’s a lovely cotton feel. Nice and smooth and is light but very warm. I recommend this.
Love it!
I was worried when I put this on my bed because it was so light. I really thought I’d be freezing but this is so cozy. It feels lovely and warm but you don’t get that sweaty feeling as you do with a synthetic filled duvet. Really happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend.
Bad stitching follow up
Having received the item it was shaken to add air and fluff the down . It was then i noticed lots of feathers and down over the bedroom floor and onto the bed. The stitching was not finished correctly on the edge of the duvet, the opening was approximately 8 inches long. This was not the quality I expected for the price and showed a lack of quality control. I have accepted a replacement duvet,whilst returning the faulty one. I am expecting a replacement item and hoping that the machining is completed to a far higher standard and the QC standards are followed. I will re-review on receipt of the replacement.
The replacement came today. Other than a couple of loose threads around the edges, the item is far better than the one I previousy received. Maybe the one sent to me had slipped through quality control. I am now feeling happier.. 9/10 for this one.
Warm
So far the duvet seems all good – it’s warm and comfy. It does how slightly weird smell which i assume is due to it being duck feather but it’s not strong and would probably fade away with the wash.

A very reasonably priced duvet and very comfy. Feathers are even throughout and it’s lightweight but warm. No issues with feathers escaping (so far!), so really chuffed.

Never thought Ill spend this much for a duvet but thought ill invest in good sleep and give it a go. It really is comfortable to sleep in though out the year although I removed it from my bed during the summer heatwave. The only issue is, I’ve noticed the duvet is giving out some small feathers, not many to be alarmed but I’m just thinking this can’t be normal. If this continues for a long while the duvet will certainly lose its integrity.
Great quilt 10.5 tog
This is lovely quality I am glad I bought this after reading some of the negative reviews I was a bit wary, but I checked the quality of the product as soon as it arrived bo problem with the edges all good, the quilt is soft and wraps around you, no issues with noise either. Would recommend.
Down quil
This is heavier than I expected . I hoped it would be light . The outer material is what’s making it heavy but needs it so feathers don’t stick through like cheaper ones .overall not disappointed as it is cosy and warm .
excellent duve
I can’t believe it has taken me so long to treat myself to a down quilt. It arrived speedily. After letting it plump up after unpacking it was put in the duvet cover and on my bed.

Snuggly duve
On a recent holiday this duvet was on our beds and was so lovely and comfortable, all the family loved them. As we had had ours for more years than care to remember, on our return home this was an immediate purchase. It has been very warm anyway since purchase can only say at 10.5 tog (is available in a warmer tog if required) will be warm enough for me.
Very comfy duve
I have to say that this duvet is beautifully soft and comfortable. It means a deep sleep and is so good that our cat purrs loudly when she climbs onto the bed! Recommended.

We bought a more expensive feather duvet that left our bedroom looking as if we’d been killing chickens.

Fantastic. Loved it from the first night. The 10.5 tog really does feel warmer than our last duvet. Might need a lighter one for summer months. Filling was evenly distributed. And the price around 100 was a bargain compared to exact same product more than
double that in retail stores.
