I also like any flavours you may have can be as weak or strong as want.
Would recommend 2 gas canisters and finding out locally where you can get them exchanged for a cheaper price.

I have now purchased 3 of these. One for myself and others as gifts. I had one delivered damaged but it got replaced less than 24 hours so service was absolutely brilliant. Very please with all 3 and very happy with service too.
It's OK
After buying an extra 2 sets of bottles I noticed it said bottles last up to 3 years. How are you supposed to know when they’re not good any more and why can we not fizz the water in machine and transfer to regular recycled bottle? There’s strange smell off the inside of the bottles it puts me off. I good thing I discovered is you can use regular squash so I have all different exotic flavours as well as the syrups they sell. The tonic water is not citrus enough for me. Worth the money though cuts down on our plastic waste to.

This was a Christmas present and I’m really pleased with it. I love fizzy water but felt uncomfortable with all the plastic bottles I was buying. Can’t relate to the negative reviews as the results are as good as bottled sparkling water. It stays fizzy for a few hours if you use the big bottle and don’t finish it. I also bought two small bottles off Amazon as they’re perfect to carry around in your bag. There was a gas canister in mine and I used it everyday since Christmas – only just had to replace it. At Sainsburys you can exchange your empties and get a new one for 10.

Had this for a couple of days and I love it so far.
Don’t get me wrong, by the time you’ve bought extra bottles and syrups etc you’re looking at 100 all in for a set up with 6-7 syrups as I’ve shown here. I’ll make my money back in a month because we literally spend a disgusting amount of money on diet sodas between both of us. The machine is super simple and doesn’t require mains power. Also comes with a 10 off voucher for your first gas replacement!

I love this product. It arrived quickly.Product looks stylish and sits on kitchen surface for accessibility. It is fantastically easy to use. I bought it in order to save on buying fizzy water and diet cokes to prevent plastic waste. I use the product once or twice per week. The gas cannister is expensive but I have not needed to replace this yet and it is easy to buy different be flavours to add to the water in base. I love it!
Easy to use & no electric needed
This is really easy to use and is 9/10 done on the first try – sometimes you have to really push the button down hard to fizz the water first, but that’s quickly picked up.
My only minor complaint is that it’s slightly annoying that the plastic stick which goes into the water doesn’t move for ease of use when putting a bottle in. I love how it’s totally manual and doesn’t require any plugging in!
I wasn’t aware until after purchase of the gas exchange so have a look into that, and there’s cheaper suppliers too than on here.

This is used every day in our house! Easy to use, simple to install and makes decent fizzy water without any fuss. Would highly recommend. Also, very easy to get affordable replacement gas canisters locally.
Wouldn’t recommend using any of the soda stream flavours with it, we just add squash and high juice for flavour and that works much better.
Makes Flawless Pepsi and 7Up
Last minute gift for my daughter who loves Pepsi. I had a SodaStream yeeeaaars ago and they’re as good as ever. Very easy to clip the gas bottle in and mix up your first drink. Woks out for much cheaper by litre for the drinks.

I like sparkling water alot but rarely bought it because I hate using plastic. This then is the perfect solution to the problem!
Since buying I’ve used it every day and I’m still on the first co2 bottle. It’s worth checking local suppliers of bottles before buying, thankfully the range stock them and I have one down the road and you get money off for exchanging your old bottle.
Only reason I knocked a star off is because the cost seems unreasonably high for what’s basically some plastic and a co2 bottle. Wait until there is a promo!

After reading many of the reviews on here I was dubious about spending the money on it. Well, I needn’t have been! I am a Pepsi Max ONLY drinker. I don’t drink anything else and as you can possibly imagine I spend a fortune each week on my weekly supply. I haven’t used sodastream since I was a kid – and that was many years ago!! I didn’t even know if they still did them, so I was delighted to find it here on Amazon. As I said, I read the reviews and REALLY wasn’t sure if I should buy it, but threw caution to the wind and ordered one with the resolve that if I didn’t like it, it WOULD go back! So it arrived and in all honesty I didn’t open the package for a couple of days – I was dreading it to be a failure. Then I did open it. I’d already watched the video on how to use it so assembled it in no time and set about making my first bottle of Pepsi Max. Being a cautious whimp that I am, I was nervous about pressing the button to carbonate it and my first few attempts produced NO fizz – all my fault. I introduced my youngest (17) to the gadget and told him how to basically use it – He had no problem whatsoever getting a fizzy drink. I kept trying as I’d seen he’d been able to do it and after he suggested I may not have been screwing the bottle of water on tight enough, I did it again and WOW!! I’m as happy as a pig in the proverbial!! As for folks saying the flavour is wrong – I do not agree. As I said, it’s all I drink and have done for years so believe me I would have been able to tell the difference if it was not good. The only thing I would say is that I had to experiment with just how much syrup to pour in to get the taste correct and established for my liking that I use just under half a cap of the syrup. So peeps, go for it!! I didn’t regret it, even after being concerned that I would! It’s great, tinker with the flavouring until you get the taste you prefer and you’re there!!

Really good quality product, the bottle as well, I have purchased 2 additional of them. CO2 also seems to last for weeks. ( have to admit not using it frequently at the moment). Only the price which holds me back from giving 5 star, it basically makes soda, and a 20 item just does exactly the same. This one does it while looking fancy 🙂

First attempt my partner had a major explosion due to him filling bottle past the marked line, lol!! But second attempt was perfect & he loves it & so far has used the coke syrup & it tasted just like normal coke. So all in all a fab machine. Absolutely love it.
I bought this for my parents to stop them buying bottled sparkling water. I thought it would be tricky to convince them but they absolutely love it. It looks tall and elegant in the kitchen, is very easy to use, and creates restaurant standards sparkling water from tap water. We like the water very sparkly so use 3-4 pumps of gas in each bottle. I’m interested to see how long to gas bottle lasts, but either way it looks very simple to replace.
