Great item that takes me back to my youth.
I live this and we are already I to our 2nd year. Even though I’ve had 2 yearly orders of gas (which I recommend as it saves money) but we have unlimited soda and you can use normal dilute juice for this too so no need to buy the expensive ones although I do sometimes when on offer. It has increased our daily water intake and we’ve lost lots of weight too. A very nostalgic item that takes me back to the 70s/80s haha

Great alternative to cans of fizzy
Healthier and lasts longer than cans of fizzy.
The drinks have a higher water to syrup concentration than cans, so you end up drinking more water, yet the flavour is still excellent.
Makes 1L at a time, so you can carry round the same as 3 cans.
A six pack of flavour bottles will last a nice amount of time.
Not as robust as previous models
This was bought as a replacement for an identical model used by my handicapped son. The previous Spirit machine started leaking, probably due to wear. Fundamental problem with Sodastream machines, and this is the case with the Spirit especially, is that Sodastream continuously ‘improves’ their machines… Regretfully these ‘improvements’ often (mostly) seem to be aimed at making other parts of the system, that you may have bought, (carbonating bottles, gas bottles), obsolete. My son has primarily drunk soda water for many years now and we go through a cycle of machine/accessories replacement, not due to failure but due to forced ‘upgrades’, every few years. That said, for the amount of soda water consumed by my household, Soodastream is the most economical option by a long way… But: Buyer Beware.

Saves me so much money. Fantastic buy. I had one when it first came out! Easy to use I chill the water first so it is ready to use immediately.
Popular fun with random soda experiments
It’s what you expect. Simple to use. No cables just a gas canister to make bubbly water. Great for making your own concoctions. Pity its only got one canister but seems to be plenty of gas in it for quite a few bottles that we made already. Lasted longer than I thought and surprisingly fun to use.
Not good produc
I had previously written poor review regarding SodaStream.
I had recently realized my errors after my wife pointed out I had been filling the water above the recommended levels which was causing the spill and subsequently wasn’t letting me carbonate whole bottle of water. I added exact 7 pump at the right level and now the carbonated water taste like “commercial sparkling water”. Since this is a live discovery, I ran upstairs to my study room to edit my review.
I was very angry about this purchase before but now I am happy. Changing the previously given 2 stars to 4 stars. I have to continuously buy the gas which is not cheap that is why I am not giving 5*.
It puts the fizz in my normal wate
I get to enjoy my sparkling water, by simply making normal water to sparkling water with the machine . same with other none fizzy drinks .

I saw this soda machine when the Amazon sale was on and as I love being able to make my own soda water, I decided to buy it at a very reasonable price. I have. Or regretted it but I did have to checkout a video on why mine wasn’t producing fizzy water at first.now I have the hang of it and love it..
Basic SodaStream.
We have a house of six adults. So this is use quite a lot. Unfortunately it only lasted six weeks then kept on leaking air. Contacted SodaStream directly done a video with them and informative us it was faulty. SodaStream have sent out a replacement some deducting one star because of this overall it’s a good machine.

Good, but not fizzy enough.
Flavours and tastes are all just fine. But never gets as fizzy as post-mix at a theatre/cinema, or from a bottle or can of Pepsi. It’s like you’ve gone to a bottle of coke three days after opening- it fizzes, but not enough. Also, instructions are worse than IKEA. Had to figure it out myself.
Does the job, lowers plastic waste and will save money.
Once my son got the hang of it, and how much pressure to use, it is brilliant. fresh soda water, so no wasting half a bottle of flat water, less plastic bottles to recycle and it will save a lot over time. I need something slightly sparkling when eating, and this means I can set the level of fizz to my own needs.
Very good value as bought on Prime Day, although it was the same price at a high street electrical store.
Encourages me to drink more water.
Makes tap water lovely and palatable..encourages me to drink more which can only be a good thing. It’s very easy to use once you’ve worked out how to attach the bottle.leave the attachment out at an angle when not in use and then attach and push in to aerate water. Attachment is then easy.
Does what it says on the tin!
Day 2 and so far, this works great. Setup was easy – we just watched the YouTube video. I didn’t experience any of the issues other viewers have mentioned. Easy to use and the sparkling water tastes great. Excited to cut back on my sparkling water can consumption!

Love my Soda Stream
I’m so pleased with the Soda Stream. Refillable bottles are perfect for the fridge. Gas is very gentle, no big bubbles and taste is great. I love how simple it is and that I never have to carry big heavy bottles of water from the shop.
Time will tell how long the cartridge last but had it for few weeks now with average 3-4 litres made per day and it’s still not empty. Great little machine! Wish I got it years ago
It takes a bit of getting used to but once you’ve sussed it out it works like a dream.
It’s manual operation which for me is perfect as I didn’t want another mains powered kitchen appliance which would add to the cost, especially with rising energy prices.
Bear in mind that the 60l gas quote is based on 3 presses which is a pretty flat fizz, 4-5 presses works best so you’ll get through the gas quicker than the estimated 60l to about 35-40l. I’m two weeks in and it’s still going after making 1-2l a day.
Can’t say the flavours are very good but you can use any squash or cordial to add flavour once you’ve fizzed. Another top tip is to use a Brita filter to filter your tap water before you fizz, it just taste’s better.
I’m also amazed at how it’s massively reduced my recycling waste, that alone makes it worth it in my mind.

Ottimo prodotto che permette di modulare il livello di gasatura, cosa a mio giudizio importante, di semplice utilizzo, dato che non richiede nemmeno la bottiglia venga avvitata al macchinario, e ottimo sapore dell acqua gasata da esso originata
Gradevolissimo inoltre il colore rosso rubino dell’impianto, abbastanza raro da osservare in un sistema di gasatura

Sono estremamente soddisfatto: puoi dosare la gasatura come vuoi. Da Leggermente frizzante a frizzantissima. Io lo uso con 2 colpi di gas e va benissimo. Lo consiglio per fare la propria parte eliminando plastica e tir che viaggiano carichi di acqua.
Didn’t last as long as I thought it would
Overall, I’m happy with this – it’s super easy to use and has definitely saved me lots of money. I was just a bit disappointed about how long the gas lasted. My friend has the automatic version and said that lasted her a year using it every day, but ours was gone in just over a month, without excessive use. I got it refilled at Argos (which is very handy and saves 10) and the same thing happened again. Assuming it’s the model, so wish I’d spent a bit more on the automatic version (although it is handy that this doesn’t take up yet another plug socket)

Come possessore del modello precendente non ho esitato a fare un regalo a chi continuava a comprare bottiglie su bottiglie di acqua.
Un gasatore utilissimo e facile da usare , ormai le bombole di ricambio si trovano ovunque quindi accessibile a tutti. Sul sapore non vedo il perch bisogni recensirlo perch tutto dipende dall’acqua utilizzata, io abitando in montagna con un acqua a mio parere molto buona utilizzando sodastream ottengo un acqua frizzante ottima.

I ordered this as I’m always buying bottled sparkling water and was wanted to cut the plastic. Yes I know the bottle and the machine are plastic but it’s reusable and a lot less than the bottles I was buying. I have only just brought some syrup to try so can’t comment on flavour yet.
