    Solar lights
These solar lights are so simple to use. They can either lay flat on the ground, or a table top, or in a plant pot, or they have stakes which can be used to fix them more securely. I found the stakes to be very flimsy so didn’t use them.

    Still working months after installation.
These lights deserve a really good review. They are still working after several months after I installed them and they can be switched off when they are not wanted. I have had no problems with any of the lights, LEDs are obviously very long lasting and reliable.

    Look stunning in the garde
These solar lights are so beautiful! They were really easy to install in the garden, and provide light for several hours at night. The only negative I have is that the “spikes” that the lights attach to are a bit flimsy – 3 of them have broken/snapped with minimum pressure. But this in itself doesn’t affect the lights working. I have only had these in the garden for a couple of months, and already I know at least one other person who has now purchased a set for their own garden.

These are really nice bright colourful lights. The only downside is that they all flash different colours at different times and are not in sync with one another.
Comes well packaged. Great instructions and very easy to set up. Very waterproof and have not got rusty so far.

    Excellent for lighting a pathway
These are very nice lights and extremely simple to put together and use.
Very slim and appear to be well made.
They would be perfect for lighting pathways at night.
They would also work well as lights under plants to feature them but the evenings are so light at the moment in July, it never seems to get dark enough to see them at their best, but I look forward to seeing glowing plants in the dark in a couple of months time!
Excellent buy for a good price.

Small yet well-built solar powered ligh
These solar grounds light outdoor are useful for perfect lighting to create beautiful scene on your sidewalks, garden, lawns, corridors and many more.

They come with 8 bright solar charged ground lights, with bottom stacks and a user manual. It has a LED light with warm white lights that produces a nice soft light for your paths. It automatically charges by absorbing sunlight and has a sensor to switches on during night time and switches off during the day. When fully charged, the lights can work for about 9 hours or more.

Furthermore, they are made of high-quality stainless steel and ABS which make it durable for outdoor usage. They look good decorating and provide some like to the Gordon path outside my backdoor and although not super bright do a nice job.

All in all, these are in reasonable price and actually doing the job perfectly.

    Love these solar lights!
As I am getting my garden ready for the summer and I was wondering what I can do to make it look even nicer, then I cam across these!! I usually have to ask my husband to help me with electrical stuff, but these were so easy to install. The lights are bright, waterproof and with dust with prevention, I don’t have worry about them in any weather condition!
I really suggest everyone to get these as an addition for your garden or backyard. Very satisfied with the purchase!

Produce a lovely warm glow, look great in the garden, reasonably priced, recommended!
This 8 pack of solar grounds lights are certainly good value at 22.98. They’re good quality lights offering a warm white glow that upon further inspection seem well sealed from the elements, they’ve an IP44 rating, and should last a long time and as such I’m very happy to recommend them.

Each solar light has 8 LED’s situated around the solar panel and are sealed in with the solar panel up to the edge of the outer frame with no gaps from what I can see which will prevent water getting in, there does appear to be a plastic covering over both the LED’s and the solar panel itself.

Its a stainless steel outer with a plastic frame for the base upon which the on/off switch is found, this is covered with a rubber material to prevent any moisture getting inside. The IP44 rating isn’t the best Ingress Protection available on ground solar lights, these are happy to withstand water getting splashed on them but if we have a major, heavy, downpour then there is a chance water could get inside. I’ve positioned these lights directly onto the patio area to prevent any chance of surface water getting inside. If these are placed in soft ground, flush with the surround surface, then there’s a possibility of water eventually getting inside. My advice would be to ensure they’re slightly raised in the ground.

The battery used in these lights is a 1.2V Ni-MH 600mAh rechargeable type, which is sufficient to give 6-8 hrs of light during the Summer months, in winter you’ll probably get 2 – 4 hrs if you’re lucky, it just depends on how much sun the solar panel gets during the day. This isn’t the largest solar panel I’ve come across on ground solar lights thus it’s imperative they get full sun during the day to charge up the battery.

Each ground light comes with a detachable small plastic ground stake which, when used, will keep these lights firmly in the ground. I would be careful pushing these stakes into the ground as they have a tendency to snap as the plastic is only thin, these stakes are really suited for inserting in soft ground.

If you ever need to change the rechargeable battery in these, access is possible by unscrewing the top screws.

I’m very happy to recommend these ground lights, the price is reasonable for 8 plus they should last a few years if positioned in a way as to avoid ground water.

    Decent solar ground lights
These are decent solar ground lights. They produce a pleasing warm white light, unlike many which produce a cold, blue light.

The spike is plastic so take care when placing it in the ground — don’t force it and beware of buried stones. I put mine in soft soil so I had no problem.

They are not going to work well during winter (due to sunlight being weaker and shorter in length) and they will perform better in a south-facing position than north (assuming south means it is in shadow less often, which is not always the case). That may seem obvious but I have seen people reviewing solar lights in winter and complaining that lights I have and which I find work well do not last long.

As they are at ground level, they are good at creating shadows around plants and silhouetting them, thereby making your garden look more interesting.

A really good set of ground lights, nice stainless steel finish
A nice set of 8 solar lights , they arrived well packaged and protected , they are very easy to set up ready for installation into the ground.

They come with two plastic spikes that you cross and connect into the back of each light , inserting into four small holes, there is also a small switch underneath.

You can then push the light into soft soil or into a plant pot, along a pathway to light the way or next to a hedge to light it up beautifully of an evening.

Each light has a large solar panel on the top surrounded by a nice stylish stainless steel edging with a really nice finish.

The lights are waterproof and can withstand rain, snow , hail so no need to worry about them being ruined in the wet British weather.

They are quite hard to Puch into hard ground , soft lawns and soil is best.

Overall a really nice set of solar ground lights , they look beautiful once inserted into the ground and lit up , they only need a few hours sun to get enough power to the internal rechargeable battery to keep them on through the evening.

    A outdoor decent lighting se
I appreciate the large set of 8 lights for this relatively low price, these are not the best lighting you can find but a set you can settle on.

The top design looks more expensive than the actual build which is mostly plastic. The circumference shines well during the day and night, a plastic film sits on top and once peeled enables the solar to begin working. Each light has a switch to turn on or off the lighting, the latter being useful when you want to store these away. Fortunately, being solar-powered, no tools are required. I simply used the provided anchors to pierce them into the grass lawn. Admittedly, the plastic anchors struggle to push through the soil any deeper, preventing a real flush finish. Nonetheless, these worked immediately from an afternoon of sunshine that night.

As others mention, the LED number and brightness to each ground light is not the best. They still bring a subtle warm glow when placed not too far from each other. But these are not exactly bright, dimmer than expected. I still think these will do for now and for most people if budget is the priority. Not only are they solar-powered and easy to use, but these lights also prove their waterproof ability after surviving a drench from the British weather.

Not strong enough to be recessed into the ground if you're going to walk on them.
Whilst these are apparently for both in ground (separate spike included) or on ground, I dont see how you could realistically use these above ground if there was any possibility of standing on them as they are not strong enough for that even if recessed into the ground somehow. We have used them in our borders and whilst they dont exactly illuminate a path, they’re bright enough to be noticeable.
As a set of 8 working out at less than 3 each they’re pretty good value. I usually go for lights to hand along the fence or in trees etc so these make a nice change.

8 Bright solar lights for the garden and more.
With this package you get 8 round solar lights which have a satin metal finished frame.
there are 8 LEDs in each one and these produce a very nice bright light.
There is an on and off switch under the top, I tend to leave this on as they
go on and off automatically as the light fades or brightens. Needless to say these are
rechargeable by day light. They say it takes 6 hours or so to charge but on
a bright day it’s less. They give a surprisingly good light. I’ve used them under
bushes and plants but ended up using them on my entrance steps as they
need a brighter light in case of tripping. Each light has two fins which go
together and fix under the top. One of them has a spike to push it into earth
etc. The ones on the stair I filled a plant pot with earth and pushed the light
into that. I must admit I’m pleased with them and will be interested to see how they
fare when the colder weather comes in.

Ground based solar lights for the garde
These are easy to install, solar powered lights for the garden.
The lights have a spike to enable you to secure them into the ground, but can be used without this if you prefer.
I have used them to light the path across my lawn to my shed, securing them into the ground with the spike. They provide a visual guide to keep people off the grass when it’s dark.
They have been rained on with no ill effects and can be relied upon to come on as soon as the light levels fall. The amount of light given out is enough to highlight an area rather than illuminate it, they are more decorative lights than lights to flood an area with light.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGood lights, but….
Before going any further, of the 8 x lights, only 7 were working. When I took apart the non-working one, it was evident that one of the wires hadn’t been soldered. Without a wiring diagram, I was unable to see where it should go. I was reluctant to take another apart.

The lights work really well, are surprisingly bright, and look to be quite decent. However, you would need to be selective about where you place, and as for saying you can place them in stone or brick, I don’t quite know how! Don’t think of these as normal recessed ground lights, which are designed and made for that use, with a suitable IP rating, and toughened glass etc. These wouldn’t take much to break. These are best suited placed in soft ground, and away from the chance of being trodden on etc. Also, don’t push fully down, or there will be moisture ingress (from the underside).

The battery used is the inferior Ni-Mh, which is a shame, since more and more now have Li-Ion / Li-Po type, but at the price, you can’t complain.

Overall, great lights, but with some limitations, and — not forgetting, one of the 8 was defective. May have just been unlucky of course. They could, of course, have been returned.

I hope this has been helpful.

Pretty solar lights for the law
I love the look of this solar lights, anything solar powered- I’m for it. I already have 4 very similar looking lawn lights and needed few more to make garden look more bright at night.
The lights are extra easy to set- basically we need to put the 2-part leg together and connect it with light. All of them works for me- already are in grass by the path. At night they look brilliant, even neighbours complimented them. The lights are bright, look stunning. On the bottom of the light is switch button on/ off so if we not use them, we should fully charge the lights under the sun and pack them away for next summer.
Lights arrived well packed in box. Each light protected by bubble wrap bag not to scratch the surface.
We are happy with them and the price is good for these 8 lights.

Reasonable Quality At A Fair Price
I’ve seen a lot of these types of lights at garden centres etc and for the most part, I can’t tell the difference between one brand or another. This set is no different. They are lightweight with a thin metal circumference and everything else, plastic.

They take minutes to assemble. By the time these arrived, they still had a bit of charge so once switched on, you could cover the sensor with your hand to see them light to know they were working.

Assembly involves fixing the two parts of the spike on to the back of the light and pushing it in the ground. I found that it was better to loosen the ground before doing this as the spike only went in an inch or so before it got stuck and it would be easy to break something by trying to put too much pressure in the light – they aren’t made for that.

The light is very pleasant and because there’s no cables, if you don’t get them in the right place first time, no problem.

    Decently light up the pathway
Othran 8 LEDs Solar Ground Lights

This is not my first time using this kind of solar ground light. Here’s what I think about Othran 8 LEDs Solar Ground Lights.

It decently lights up a pathway. Not the best in a way that I’ve seen a more durable and robust outer shell, but its structure is decent and acceptable quality. It is like most solar ground lights I tried in the past.

It has 600mAh while others have just 800mAh, which means it can hold less charge/ solar energy to keep it working longer when it’s dark. It says on its user manual that it works 6-8 hrs during summer and 2-3 hrs during winter. Upon testing it, I was surprised that it could work for more than 10hrs on a full 8-hr direct sunlight charge. It will help to trim growing plants around that may cover the solar panel.

There are pros and cons to installing solar-powered lights, especially with low battery capacity.

It has 8 LEDs on each disk, while others in the market have 10 LEDs per ground disk. It’s designed for its purpose – to light the pathway. It rained days before, and it seems it is still working fine. Also, I didn’t need to take it off when I mowed the garden.

It’s easy to install. It can either be spiked on the ground or just place as is on stairs or patio. It comes with all the bits needed to spike it on the ground. The thing is, the spikes might get stuck on the ground if you pull the ground light.

Overall, this is a recommendable product, and I am giving it a five-star review based on its quality, not considering its current price.

    Decorative
Nice lights for the garden. They are warm white LED lights. Easy to set up and use. They are bright but they won’t light up the whole garden. More decorative than anything else. Good price and I can see these lasting a while so long as you don’t use a lawn mower over then.

Great stainless steel lights - easy to assemble and use!
This back of 8 solar lights press down into the soil and are ideal for borders or edges of the garden.

They seem really well made, are really easy to assemble in seconds and look really good during the day or at night.

The only thing i would say is to make sure you flick the switch on the rear to on before assembly or use.

    Good Solar lights!
Solar Ground Lights Outdoor, Othran 8 LEDs Solar Garden Light Waterproof Solar Pathway Lights 304 Stainless Steel Solar In-ground Decking Disk Landscape Lights for Yard / Lawn / Patio.

These are so easy to use, you just use the ground spike and place in the desired location….. It took a matter of minutes to get all 8 positioned!

So throughout the day they charged themselves up via the sun and then when darkness fell they started to light up….. They have a built in Replaceable battery.

Our garden is long and we have placed these near the bottom as it very dark down that end at night but now when it’s dark it’s a lot better, less scary!

They are made of stainless steel and are ip44 waterproof, they need to be water especially with good old British weather we get, plenty of rain and all that!

These are very easy to use, I’d say idiot proof.
I can reccomend as they are of a reasonable quality.
Price is about right for the quantity of 8.
I would buy again if needed, let’s see how long these last first!

I love these lights so much, so versatile, good quality and look great. I have several sets which I have used to spotlight the driveway, decking and even placed in flower borders to show the plants.

    So impressed!!
I am in the process of landscaping my rear garden and when I saw these I thought that they would lighten up the garden.

There are eight lights in the box. Well packed in bubble wrap.

Easy to set up – the spikes for the ground are in two parts and slot together really easily.

Next turn on at the rear. Plant in the garden during the day, I actually did it late afternoon, wait until the sun goes down and watch the led’s light up.

Well made and solid together with being good looking and would not go amiss in any garden.

Really happy with the size and amount of single leds in each light,
I also found the spikes are so easy to put together took me all of 5 mins to put the spikes on all 8 lights.
I like the on /off button it’s look good and easy to operate.
The instructions are not fantastic as it’s just a piece of paper. (Little disappointing) as the lights look so good.
I found the hardest part is deciding where to put them on display in your garden.
