wish it had a detection zone that you could set but the mic is amazing. Withstood below 5 degrees while my other outdoor security didn’t. It could be faster starting to record as well. Camera is reliable and works well. Solar charging hasn't had a problem. I live in Las Vegas and we have had a few cloudy days (I know we are surprized too!) and the battery didn't die. Great quality Had for a while but only recently set it up. Very impresse with it so far though. I was sceptical of getting a battery powered camera but the battery life on this is great. The large solar panel included helps to keep the battery topped up. The camera itself is a solid build and is weatherproof.
It has a good solid picture and the captured footage is easy to view on their CloudEdge app. Configuring the camera and the app were a doddle as well. Notifications via the app arrive timely and the camera seens to only notify on human detection which is impressive. It has a nice strong WiFi signal at all times to it so I haven’t had any drops at all. Very impressed with it and I will look to purchase another.
Easy setup and great pictures. Worked great for about a week then started having problems. Don’t know if it’s the Solar panel or the batteries but can’t get a charge. Well justified purchase on excellent price The overall quality of the product with performance features and design makes a good deal for the amount spent, very satisfied with night vision quality, also interaction with the application is easy and there are not too many controls to make you confused.
Solar panel seems to be working ok as when the sun shines especially mornings battery shows charging state which gives you the opportunity to recharge less often and most probably not at all at summer time.

After careful research, I decided on this camera. It has a great, clear picture and great detection and recording capabilities with the SD Card. Overall it's a great camera and set up for the money. I wish that the night vision was a little clearer when zooming in. If you are recording and zoom in, it doesn't record what you zoomed in on. It just records the static view of the camera. The overall picture quality is good. The image stays clear and crisp and gives you a great image. I have 2 of these cameras and my parents bought one for their property. Overall it’s a great camera and set up for the money. I wish that the night vision was a little clearer when zooming in. Love the came is great. And it has an awesome motion sensor. Even cars get motion censored and human as well. These cameras set up easily overall, including connecting to WiFi/the router. The app is easy to use and seems secure. The angle is quite wide, meaning the width of the footage is better than expected. The image decent day and night but is a bit more grainy than I expected when zooming in. Image is likely comparable to other cameras in this price range. Customer support responds via email fairly fast. I don't see a phone number. User manuals are high quality. The mounting screws are just okay quality. Be sure to drill a countersink hole first. WiFi connection has been good after mounting. No interruptions. A sim card of 32 GB will last a very long time for motion detecting sensing 10-40 seconds each recording. Once the angle is set, hand tightening does a decent job, but could hold position better with a gasket or the like, and there's no way to download footage from the SIM via WiFi. Recording the recording on screen with a personal camera is possible for specific footage without removing SIM. These last two reasons are why I rate this 4 stars and not 5. The solar panel is good quality. I screwed mine to a piece of wood and set it on the roof without drilling into the roof. The length of the wire is fairly substantial, approx. 10'. I didn't have any issues with the wire being too short. I love this camera, as a matter fact I bought second one. Just follow the 20 hour charting directions before you put it out with the solar panel. Very clear pictures and you can hear and speak through it as well. The motion detector can be set to low so just people walking by set it off not bugs! This camera has a 120° viewing angle which is just big enough to encompass my back door as well as the driveway into the same picture without me having to buy a second security camera. Install the app on your device and then just follow the prompts on how to install the camera. Just don't turn on the camera until you got the app installed and it tells you to... But if you do you can always just reset the camera. And don't over tighten the round donut on the mounting bracket or else you'll strip it I had to put Teflon tape on it after I did that. It would be nice if they would include metal ones instead of plastic. Once you're all done open up the app and tap the video to enable HD. Now you're good to go. At this price point it probably doesn’t get much better. Very Happy with this Camera & the Solar Charger! [NOTE: I received a perk to post this review, however, the review is entirely honest!]
The camera’s great, better than I thought it would be, particularly the night vision. I purchased the solar panel because we did not have any electrical outlet nearby and so far it’s worked extremely well.
I waited about a month to see how this would perform. I have yet to go in and view all of the settings or archives in the CloudEdge app for the camera, but the alerts are good as is the imagery/video.
I purchased the biggest SanDisk card this would take, a 128 I believe it was.
We also need three (possibly four) more cameras for our side and back yards, and as a result of this purchase I will first try to find them of the same COOAU brand since we’re very happy with this.
I put only 4-stars for picture quality because picture quality can always be better, but we have no complaints by any means.

My first review was a 1 because it would not work. I tried to get customer support but could not. Found out that they were in China and only used email. It happen to fall on there chinese new year where they take a month off. Once Amanda returned she has diligently worked with me and even sent a new camera out of here own pocket. Both cameras with her diligent support are working now. I still can't make them take video on the motion sensor but I can manually. It does take great still with the motion sensor though and I can live with that. I believe the cameras are working correctly and do produce great pictures. It may be the app. Also the solar is the only way to go. Has never ran out of battery power. Thank You so much Amanda for your support. My first review was a 1 because it would not work. Year and a half and counting! What a great value! After almost 2 years this thing works as expected in the north east, harsh summers and harsh winters. I didn’t buy the cloud and I must say that because it performed so well I may just buy the cloud and definitely get a second cam.
I would send them this feedback. Sometimes the motion detection may not detect which it maybe due to the camera recalibrating and off for a few moments.
I had a Bushnell Trail Cam for several years Problems included batteries diving, having to retreive the memeory card and poor picture quality. This Cooau unit is excellent. I can sit in my living room and watch live video from outside or review the nights previous visitors. Much nicer than having to go out each day and grab the memory card. A very well built produc I am about 80 years old and needed my Gardner to install the camera and solar panel on my roof. In the process of doing so he dropped the camera and it rolled off the roof falling nominally 15 feet on to a pile of rocks. I feared the worst, but it was still completely functional and I could not see any damage from the fall. This is a well built product.

Great Camera for Quick Security Installatio **Another update 6/21/2021** over the past 6 weeks I’ve found that the CloudApp is having trouble accessing one or more of the 4 cameras. It seems that I have to close the App and it may or may not be able to access the camera that it couldn’t previously. I also consider that it could be my WiFi, I haven’t ruled it out but the WiFi strength to all the cameras are between 85% to 90% or higher. About a month ago I wrote to the CloudApp people about this issue but have not heard back from them yet. I still think these are good cameras but long term reliability of the App may be an issue!
**Updated Again 4/5/2021** I’ve had these cameras installed for over six months now. The cameras are working well. They don’t seem use a lot of charge overnight and they recharge easily. My camera on the side of my house is not hooked up to the solar panel and it still have a full charge after all these months (but that side of my house does not get
any activity unless I’m in that area). At this time, I need to adjust the camera surveilling the front of my house and driveway areas so that I’m not picking up cars and sometimes people in the middle of the street. I live on a large CulDeSac so kids use it for skateboarding, bicycling, football games and cars are always turning around in the area. I’ve found that the higher up (# of feet off the ground) you install the camera, the steeper the angle down the camera must be placed unless you want to capture areas 40, 50 feet or more away from the camera… so far si good… I recommend.
*Update* I’ve installed cameras. One piece of information that’s important, especially for people like me who are not electronically savvy… In the setup process, the CloudEdge App (I have the App on my IPhone) gives you the option to select the photos (on your phone or other device) that the App will have access to. Do Not Select this option. Give the App Full Access otherwise the App will not be able to make screenshots or videos. It took me more than a month of emailing the CloudEdge people back and forth that I stumbled into the cause of the problem. It’s my opinion that the App and camera are a good choice for people like me who wants to keep an eye on as much of their property as possible. The camera does show a fairly wide angle, much more than I expected any way.
*Initial review*. … I have four of these cameras for security on front, back and sides of my house. I have them all setup and tested for their ultimate location but not yet installed. So far, this camera is meeting my expectations as far as ease of setup and use, clarity of video/pictures, and holding a charge. The instructions are super easy! The range/distance for this camera is okay for me. About 10 feet to see my face clearly, but much much more (probably well over 100 ft) to see that a person is walking onto your property. After I have them installed, I plan to update this review with photos.

Outstanding Customer Service from COOAU My review is not going to be focused on the Great Security Camera as I’m 100% in agreement with all the five stars review from previous customers… My feedback will be focused on the “OSTANDING” Customer service I received from Shernee (COOAU Support Specialist) I contacted COOAU Support with an issue related to the mounting bracket, the white knob used to secure the camera in place was stripped and the camera was not staying on the position I wanted Once I contacted COUAU via email I got a timely response from Shernee and provided assistance troubleshooting via emails the issue I was having with the bracket… I submitted a request for a new mounting bracket and Shernee immediately escalated my case the COOAU Support Manager and both of them agreed on sending me a replacement camera instead of the bracket and they told me that I didn’t have to return the other camera.
I’m blown away by the exceptional COOAU Customer service I would have been happy just with a new bracket replacement I will definitely recommend COOAU company/products to all my family, friends as well as all my coworkers at my IT Company COOAU really care about their customers and that is what makes or breaks any company on today’s market.

True wireless HD Camera So the camera is made really well. The solar panel works flawlessly with it. This is a great way to not drill holes thru your walls for power. Setup was a breeze. Very good manual. The picture quality is very good.
There is not much to not like about this camera. Wifi signal strength and range are excellent. Viewing from multiple phones at different locations works great.

Setup is easy and surprisingly good signal I purchased several of these outdoor cameras as well as the indoor for a business. And so far they have met my expectations. Setting up the cameras takes less than a minute and installing the mounting brackets for the camera and solar panel takes about 5 (if you have the right positioning). I was skeptical at first about the wifi strength, if it would pick up my router as I have a large square footage to cover. But going through a couple of brick walls and sitting about 60 feet away from the router, I have good single and able to connect easily through the app. The CloudEdge app that you use for this camera took a little getting use to but like any app it becomes easier with a little practice. The picture quality during night and day are good, as well as the intercom and battery life. There are two settings for motion alert, high and low. Seems like high picks up every little thing and my phone was constantly dinging; so only use high if it is a location or room where there is supposed to be absolutely no movement.
I do wish that the app had more schedule times for motion alerts as I can only set up 4 schedules.
Note: first time using the outdoor cameras, they need to charge for about 10 hours first.
COOAU, GREAT QUALITY & SETUP IN MINUTES This is the first security camera that I have purchased for my home. I did my homework. I looked at the entire line and type of products made by COOAU. I was very impressed by other products that they were known for. When I unboxed the camera,I was not disapointed. The camera is very well constructed. Not flimsy at all. Solid!
Following the well written instructions I was literally connected to the app with the camera fully functional in minutes. Both the day and night-vision image quality, motion detection and range of wi-fi detection exceeded my expectations.
I’m glad I made this purchase and plan to purchase 2 more soon.

I got this to watch the bees in backyard. The motion detection is not working well for the bees. I have to wave at it or walk close to trigger the feature. This is my first security camera and I am very impressed with the quality of the product and the video image. It also has the more and better options than others at much higher pierces. The fact that it has 2 ways you can store videos (either 32G to 128G SD card, or encrypted cloud storage) is a big plus. Start-to-finish the installation of the hardware was very quick and easy. UPDATE: Adding my third camera. I have had my front two cameras for eight months. Some of the side benefits have been that I can keep track of the kids coming and going to the park or walk their dogs so I can track how long they have been gone. I have helped the neighbors find the guy who egged their house. I am able to get an alarm sent to my phone if someone is near my cars or house. I can see when a delivery guy drops something off, so I was able to Request they not ring the doorbell so all my dogs don’t go crazy every time. Having these cameras has really changed my life in a lot of unforeseen ways that I’ve made life easier! I can even address solicitors right through the camera with the two way speaker which really helped during COVID.
Now I am adding one to the back alley behind my house. I decided to keep my daughters jeep back there without a top on it and it has a nice alarm a stereo system. Just yesterday someone tried to break into my back gate, so I am going to be able to see on my phone anything that’s going on out in the back alley whenever I hear a strange noise in the middle of the night. When I go away this summer, I’ll be able to see who enters my property and have it all recorded.
I purchased this camera identical to the last two because I really enjoy the ease of the app. All three kids have the app on their phones so they can all keep an eye on what’s going on as well. It’s been a great way to teach them to be aware of each other and our house. Overall the cameras have brought me much more security than I would have ever imagined when I first bought them.

The Solar panel was made up of durable plastic. That way mo more rust. Camera also has motion detection, 2-way radio, FHD video, wi-fi, infrared, a 130 wide camera angle and best of all solar powered. No more plug-in to the outlet.

Now got it installed, it is easy to set up. Video capturing was awesome. The motion detection also has sensitivity settings so its up to the users to choose how sensitive the motion detection on the cam. Also when viewing the video you can also zoom in, and zoom out on the video. Thats a plus points for me. Got a sample of the zoom in capture posted. Finally the night vision capturing also was great. Can see clearly even at night time. 5stars for this awesome camera.

It is easy to set up, hooked up to my WiFi easily, and has a great signal due to that two high-gain antennas. It also has a very clear resolution day or night pictures or videos. The voice intercom was great for my husband outside and me inside to hear with no problems while we were testing it out. He has rigged it up to a pole so the solar panel will get charged and I will still be able to see down the front side of my rv, but I will also be able to move it to different locations once I get moved in and see where I need it most. This is our critter camera. The 75 pound dog hits the fence to knock the critters off. He’s gotten a couple of rats. I have used trail camera in the past and it worked well, but to see if it was a raccoon or possum we had to go get the card. My husband says this camera is much easier to setup than another brand. Easy to install ... – I compared Zumimall and COOAU home security cameras on Amazon before I decided on COOAU. COOAU seems to have a large battery capacity and its solar panel is relatively small and unnoticeable.
– Since I installed COOAU and use it I’ve noticed its battery is almost always at 100% which shows the solar panel works perfectly with the battery.
– The installation guide on the mobile app guides you through installation particularly showing where the best WiFi signal can be located, and dual 4dBi external antennas have strong communication to the WiFi router inside my home.
– Picture quality is excellent during daytime but black & white at night. I think that is an area for improvement.
– The CloudEdge app. Is easy to use. It even lets you format the Micro SD card I inserted into the Security Camera.
– The other shortcoming to both brands is that they don’t supply the needed Micro SD card. I had to buy it separately

Camera is reliable and works well. Solar charging hasn't had a problem. I live in Las Vegas and we have had a few cloudy days (I know we are surprized too!) and the battery didn't die. Setup was a little wonky due to the directions not being really clear, but once I ran through it once it was ok.

Great quality
Had for a while but only recently set it up. Very impresse with it so far though. I was sceptical of getting a battery powered camera but the battery life on this is great. The large solar panel included helps to keep the battery topped up. The camera itself is a solid build and is weatherproof.
It has a good solid picture and the captured footage is easy to view on their CloudEdge app. Configuring the camera and the app were a doddle as well. Notifications via the app arrive timely and the camera seens to only notify on human detection which is impressive. It has a nice strong WiFi signal at all times to it so I haven’t had any drops at all. Very impressed with it and I will look to purchase another.
Easy setup and great pictures. Worked great for about a week then started having problems. Don’t know if it’s the Solar panel or the batteries but can’t get a charge. After all day it’s only showing 1% charge. I have it hooked up to USB port trying to charge for tonight.

Well justified purchase on excellent price
The overall quality of the product with performance features and design makes a good deal for the amount spent, very satisfied with night vision quality, also interaction with the application is easy and there are not too many controls to make you confused.
Solar panel seems to be working ok as when the sun shines especially mornings battery shows charging state which gives you the opportunity to recharge less often and most probably not at all at summer time.

I already had a video doorbell that uses the Cloud Edge software and was looking for an additional cam to add to my garage. This cam was perfect since it included a solar panel. The placement on the garage wasn't near an electrical source. I can access both devices from a single app. Install was fairly simple and I had no issues getting it to work with the app. In fact, I may purchase a second to cover the other side of house.

After careful research, I decided on this camera. It has a great, clear picture and great detection and recording capabilities with the SD Card. I have the solar panel which I have yet to hook up, I'm wanting to see how long it will run on battery power before doing so. So far, so good.

Overall it's a great camera and set up for the money. I wish that the night vision was a little clearer when zooming in. If you are recording and zoom in, it doesn't record what you zoomed in on. It just records the static view of the camera. The overall picture quality is good. The image stays clear and crisp and gives you a great image. I have 2 of these cameras and my parents bought one for their property.

Love the came is great. And it has an awesome motion sensor. Even cars get motion censored and human as well. I don’t feel it needs to improve for me it is an amazing camera for what I need to use for.

These cameras set up easily overall, including connecting to WiFi/the router. The app is easy to use and seems secure. The angle is quite wide, meaning the width of the footage is better than expected. The image decent day and night but is a bit more grainy than I expected when zooming in. Image is likely comparable to other cameras in this price range. Customer support responds via email fairly fast. I don't see a phone number. User manuals are high quality. The mounting screws are just okay quality. Be sure to drill a countersink hole first. WiFi connection has been good after mounting. No interruptions. A sim card of 32 GB will last a very long time for motion detecting sensing 10-40 seconds each recording. Once the angle is set, hand tightening does a decent job, but could hold position better with a gasket or the like, and there's no way to download footage from the SIM via WiFi. Recording the recording on screen with a personal camera is possible for specific footage without removing SIM. These last two reasons are why I rate this 4 stars and not 5. The solar panel is good quality. I screwed mine to a piece of wood and set it on the roof without drilling into the roof. The length of the wire is fairly substantial, approx. 10'. I didn't have any issues with the wire being too short. The battery has been keeping a charge really well after pre-charging according to the manual's recommended 20 hours and placing the solar panel well. I love this camera, as a matter fact I bought second one. Just follow the 20 hour charting directions before you put it out with the solar panel. Very clear pictures and you can hear and speak through it as well. The motion detector can be set to low so just people walking by set it off not bugs! Night vision is great and if you want to subscribe to a cloud recording you can.

At this price point it probably doesn't get much better. This camera has a 120° viewing angle which is just big enough to encompass my back door as well as the driveway into the same picture without me having to buy a second security camera. Install the app on your device and then just follow the prompts on how to install the camera. Just don't turn on the camera until you got the app installed and it tells you to... But if you do you can always just reset the camera. And don't over tighten the round donut on the mounting bracket or else you'll strip it I had to put Teflon tape on it after I did that. It would be nice if they would include metal ones instead of plastic. Once you're all done open up the app and tap the video to enable HD. Now you're good to go.

Very Happy with this Camera & the Solar Charger!

The camera’s great, better than I thought it would be, particularly the night vision. I purchased the solar panel because we did not have any electrical outlet nearby and so far it’s worked extremely well.
I waited about a month to see how this would perform. I have yet to go in and view all of the settings or archives in the CloudEdge app for the camera, but the alerts are good as is the imagery/video.
I purchased the biggest SanDisk card this would take, a 128 I believe it was.
We also need three (possibly four) more cameras for our side and back yards, and as a result of this purchase I will first try to find them of the same COOAU brand since we’re very happy with this.
I put only 4-stars for picture quality because picture quality can always be better, but we have no complaints by any means.

It happen to fall on there chinese new year where they take a month off. Once Amanda returned she has diligently worked with me and even sent a new camera out of here own pocket. Both cameras with her diligent support are working now. I still can't make them take video on the motion sensor but I can manually. It does take great still with the motion sensor though and I can live with that. I believe the cameras are working correctly and do produce great pictures. It may be the app. Also the solar is the only way to go. Has never ran out of battery power. Thank You so much Amanda for your support.

Year and a half and counting!
What a great value! After almost 2 years this thing works as expected in the north east, harsh summers and harsh winters. I didn’t buy the cloud and I must say that because it performed so well I may just buy the cloud and definitely get a second cam.
I would send them this feedback. Sometimes the motion detection may not detect which it maybe due to the camera recalibrating and off for a few moments.

I can sit in my living room and watch live video from outside or review the nights previous visitors. Much nicer than having to go out each day and grab the memory card. Solar charger works well keeping unit charged.

A very well built produc
I am about 80 years old and needed my Gardner to install the camera and solar panel on my roof. In the process of doing so he dropped the camera and it rolled off the roof falling nominally 15 feet on to a pile of rocks. I feared the worst, but it was still completely functional and I could not see any damage from the fall. This is a well built product.

Very quality camera. Has some weight to it. Camera was very easy to setup. I purchased with a solar unit to continuously power it otherwise you would have to power separately. Battery life is very good though. Quick notification to phone.

**Another update 6/21/2021** over the past 6 weeks I’ve found that the CloudApp is having trouble accessing one or more of the 4 cameras. It seems that I have to close the App and it may or may not be able to access the camera that it couldn’t previously. I also consider that it could be my WiFi, I haven’t ruled it out but the WiFi strength to all the cameras are between 85% to 90% or higher. About a month ago I wrote to the CloudApp people about this issue but have not heard back from them yet. I still think these are good cameras but long term reliability of the App may be an issue!
**Updated Again 4/5/2021** I’ve had these cameras installed for over six months now. The cameras are working well. They don’t seem use a lot of charge overnight and they recharge easily. My camera on the side of my house is not hooked up to the solar panel and it still have a full charge after all these months (but that side of my house does not get
any activity unless I’m in that area). At this time, I need to adjust the camera surveilling the front of my house and driveway areas so that I’m not picking up cars and sometimes people in the middle of the street. I live on a large CulDeSac so kids use it for skateboarding, bicycling, football games and cars are always turning around in the area. I’ve found that the higher up (# of feet off the ground) you install the camera, the steeper the angle down the camera must be placed unless you want to capture areas 40, 50 feet or more away from the camera… so far si good… I recommend.
*Update* I’ve installed cameras. One piece of information that’s important, especially for people like me who are not electronically savvy… In the setup process, the CloudEdge App (I have the App on my IPhone) gives you the option to select the photos (on your phone or other device) that the App will have access to. Do Not Select this option. Give the App Full Access otherwise the App will not be able to make screenshots or videos. It took me more than a month of emailing the CloudEdge people back and forth that I stumbled into the cause of the problem. It’s my opinion that the App and camera are a good choice for people like me who wants to keep an eye on as much of their property as possible. The camera does show a fairly wide angle, much more than I expected any way.
*Initial review*. … I have four of these cameras for security on front, back and sides of my house. I have them all setup and tested for their ultimate location but not yet installed. So far, this camera is meeting my expectations as far as ease of setup and use, clarity of video/pictures, and holding a charge. The instructions are super easy! The range/distance for this camera is okay for me. About 10 feet to see my face clearly, but much much more (probably well over 100 ft) to see that a person is walking onto your property. After I have them installed, I plan to update this review with photos.

Bought this is Dec. 2020, it’s July 2021, one of the cameras stopped working but thankfully customer services has been helpful in fixing the problem. Cloudege app has days it crashes but so far its been okay this month.
Outstanding Customer Service from COOAU
My review is not going to be focused on the Great Security Camera as I’m 100% in agreement with all the five stars review from previous customers… My feedback will be focused on the “OSTANDING” Customer service I received from Shernee (COOAU Support Specialist) I contacted COOAU Support with an issue related to the mounting bracket, the white knob used to secure the camera in place was stripped and the camera was not staying on the position I wanted Once I contacted COUAU via email I got a timely response from Shernee and provided assistance troubleshooting via emails the issue I was having with the bracket… I submitted a request for a new mounting bracket and Shernee immediately escalated my case the COOAU Support Manager and both of them agreed on sending me a replacement camera instead of the bracket and they told me that I didn’t have to return the other camera.
I’m blown away by the exceptional COOAU Customer service I would have been happy just with a new bracket replacement I will definitely recommend COOAU company/products to all my family, friends as well as all my coworkers at my IT Company COOAU really care about their customers and that is what makes or breaks any company on today’s market.

This camera is wireless. The place that I installed is without power and can not run a signal line; so this wireless signal an solar powered camera solves my problem. Easy setup with good video quality. Receives notification by phone when motion detection is triggering. It also supports local storage via MicroSD card without a recording server!

True wireless HD Camera
So the camera is made really well. The solar panel works flawlessly with it. This is a great way to not drill holes thru your walls for power. Setup was a breeze. Very good manual. The picture quality is very good.
There is not much to not like about this camera. Wifi signal strength and range are excellent. Viewing from multiple phones at different locations works great.
If your on the fence about it I would say go for it, we are very pleased with it.

Setup is easy and surprisingly good signal
I purchased several of these outdoor cameras as well as the indoor for a business. And so far they have met my expectations. Setting up the cameras takes less than a minute and installing the mounting brackets for the camera and solar panel takes about 5 (if you have the right positioning). I was skeptical at first about the wifi strength, if it would pick up my router as I have a large square footage to cover. But going through a couple of brick walls and sitting about 60 feet away from the router, I have good single and able to connect easily through the app. The CloudEdge app that you use for this camera took a little getting use to but like any app it becomes easier with a little practice. The picture quality during night and day are good, as well as the intercom and battery life. There are two settings for motion alert, high and low. Seems like high picks up every little thing and my phone was constantly dinging; so only use high if it is a location or room where there is supposed to be absolutely no movement.
I do wish that the app had more schedule times for motion alerts as I can only set up 4 schedules.
Note: first time using the outdoor cameras, they need to charge for about 10 hours first.
COOAU, GREAT QUALITY & SETUP IN MINUTES
This is the first security camera that I have purchased for my home. I did my homework. I looked at the entire line and type of products made by COOAU. I was very impressed by other products that they were known for. When I unboxed the camera,I was not disapointed. The camera is very well constructed. Not flimsy at all. Solid!
Following the well written instructions I was literally connected to the app with the camera fully functional in minutes. Both the day and night-vision image quality, motion detection and range of wi-fi detection exceeded my expectations.
I’m glad I made this purchase and plan to purchase 2 more soon.

The live stream is good and you can view particular instances that the camera was tripped. I used an sd card so do not require cloud storage. This camera is literally convenient way of adding security!

Item hand delivered by Amazon on time. It was compact and well packaged. This is my second camera from COOAU which I intend to use for my backyard. This little gizmo came in with a lot of features already well described in other reviews. It was really easy to set up since I already have the CloudEdge app. Also shared it with two other phones (how to included) with ease. Picture quality is excellent and the infrared night vision real clear. What I like about this camera is it’s 130 degree viewing angle with it’s improved range giving you more like a panoramic view. Only had for a few days but with it’s upgraded battery plus the solar panel certainly will give u longer life. Motion notification very sensitive, can be annoying at times, u can tone it down or turn off. This little gadget is the complete package. It has all the the features essential in a sec camera all controlled thru ur mobile phone. With it’s reasonable price, u can go no wrong. Well recommended.

UPDATE: Adding my third camera. I have had my front two cameras for eight months. Some of the side benefits have been that I can keep track of the kids coming and going to the park or walk their dogs so I can track how long they have been gone. I have helped the neighbors find the guy who egged their house. I am able to get an alarm sent to my phone if someone is near my cars or house. I can see when a delivery guy drops something off, so I was able to Request they not ring the doorbell so all my dogs don’t go crazy every time. Having these cameras has really changed my life in a lot of unforeseen ways that I’ve made life easier! I can even address solicitors right through the camera with the two way speaker which really helped during COVID.
Now I am adding one to the back alley behind my house. I decided to keep my daughters jeep back there without a top on it and it has a nice alarm a stereo system. Just yesterday someone tried to break into my back gate, so I am going to be able to see on my phone anything that’s going on out in the back alley whenever I hear a strange noise in the middle of the night. When I go away this summer, I’ll be able to see who enters my property and have it all recorded.
I purchased this camera identical to the last two because I really enjoy the ease of the app. All three kids have the app on their phones so they can all keep an eye on what’s going on as well. It’s been a great way to teach them to be aware of each other and our house. Overall the cameras have brought me much more security than I would have ever imagined when I first bought them.
First I liked in this product is the premium box. It has a good box that protected the camera during deliveries. Premium built for the camera. The Solar panel was made up of durable plastic. That way mo more rust. Camera also has motion detection, 2-way radio, FHD video, wi-fi, infrared, a 130 wide camera angle and best of all solar powered. No more plug-in to the outlet.

Now got it installed, it is easy to set up. Video capturing was awesome. The motion detection also has sensitivity settings so its up to the users to choose how sensitive the motion detection on the cam. Also when viewing the video you can also zoom in, and zoom out on the video. Thats a plus points for me. Got a sample of the zoom in capture posted. Finally the night vision capturing also was great. Can see clearly even at night time. 5stars for this awesome camera.

It is easy to set up, hooked up to my WiFi easily, and has a great signal due to that two high-gain antennas. It also has a very clear resolution day or night pictures or videos. I just wish the motion detection recording could at least record about 3 minutes. Overall it's a good purchase.

This home security camera is awesome and the price is great. I am getting ready to live in my rv for 2 years while my husband goes overseas for work, so he is trying to set me up where I will feel safe. The voice intercom was great for my husband outside and me inside to hear with no problems while we were testing it out. He has rigged it up to a pole so the solar panel will get charged and I will still be able to see down the front side of my rv, but I will also be able to move it to different locations once I get moved in and see where I need it most. I like that it sends my cell notifications of any motion detected at my camper. It is very easy to set up to cell app. Night vision is very clear also. I have included several pics, night time, daytime and on the app shots.

This is our critter camera. The 75 pound dog hits the fence to knock the critters off. He’s gotten a couple of rats. I have used trail camera in the past and it worked well, but to see if it was a raccoon or possum we had to go get the card. My husband says this camera is much easier to setup than another brand. I do wish there was an option to display the history by day so I can find an event from a specific day easier. The quality is great. I couldn’t post the first video I took because my husband was discussing a family member, and the audio was crystal clear. This camera is facing south. I’ve been looking for a wireless camera with a solar panel for awhile. Read many reviews. This one checks off all the boxes. I already have another COOAU camera that works great. This one has a larger capacity battery, meaning less recharges. The night vision is quite clear as you can see in the pics. I always keep the motion detection low so as not to get false alarms & preserve battery. The solar panel connection is somewhat short so it must be mounted close to the camera, which might be challenging for some. The WiFi signal is strong around 55-60 ft from my router, so the external antennae seems to help. The app is easy to set up & user friendly. Adding additional cameras is straight-forward. I’ve added a SD card so no need for cloud subscription. Just remember to format your SD card to FAT32 or the camera will not read it. Most SD cards are default exFAT. I’m anxious to see how long the batteries last with the solar panel backup & will update my review when I have a better idea of that performance. For now, I am very pleased & wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.
– I compared Zumimall and COOAU home security cameras on Amazon before I decided on COOAU. COOAU seems to have a large battery capacity and its solar panel is relatively small and unnoticeable.
– Since I installed COOAU and use it I’ve noticed its battery is almost always at 100% which shows the solar panel works perfectly with the battery.
– The installation guide on the mobile app guides you through installation particularly showing where the best WiFi signal can be located, and dual 4dBi external antennas have strong communication to the WiFi router inside my home.
– Picture quality is excellent during daytime but black & white at night. I think that is an area for improvement.
– The CloudEdge app. Is easy to use. It even lets you format the Micro SD card I inserted into the Security Camera.
– The other shortcoming to both brands is that they don’t supply the needed Micro SD card. I had to buy it separately
