Really good sound and punchy bass that comes out of this little thing. It’ll be more of a bargain now than the Sonia One. Great speaker.
Only downside is that it doesn’t come with chromecast. Airplay is good for Apple users.
The sound quality of these speakers are phenomenal! This is probably the best speaker we have ever bought. It looks great in the home aswell and not too big. Will definitely be going to Sonos next time we need anything else speaker wise.
The sound quality is excellent. The integration of multiple speakers is the best I have experienced and the software is really well designed and more importantly, it works!

Bought for 160 and I’m thrilled! Its a great looking little speaker, incredible sound quality and make the mistake of maxing out the volume, its loud as hell! Especially for my bedroom, my first sonos product and I’m very impressed! Wish i Bought 2 to pair up, I’ll wait for a discount though.
Found it difficult to set up.
After a frustrating time trying to connect using the alexa app and Sonos app , I had to contact Sonos via a live chat connection this was the only way I could get it to work .
It is working excellently after the Sonos help / advice.
I had never heard of this speaker before. Until I was in a restarunt with my hubby and could hear the quality sound from the music speaker beside us. So bought one for hubby for Xmas. Loved it. Few easily sorted teething prob to connect. All good
It is easy to setup and you can listen music any genre the volume is sounds very nice Hifi level I saw added Alexa or Google assistant because Alexa doesn’t have YouTube so I can use YouTube on Google assistant but sorry no Bluetooth but it is okay thank you
The sound quality is excellent and pairing it up to Spotify and BBC Sounds was easy. I’ve still not worked out how to do voice recognition. However I think that’s more me than the item.
I bought it so I could play background music in my treatment room but also use it in the house for listening to music. The volume is very controllable.
I was also very impressed with the delivery it arrived about 5 days before the planned delivery date which should have been after New Year but I received it before.
I bought a pair to set up as a stereo system. Really easy to configure together . Great sound and the Alexa works perfectly. I’m really pleased I got them totally satisfied
Love the sound, and having signed up to Amazon Music Unlimited I have a massive choice of music. So easy to set up – and use with my phone apps. Very pleased.
Love Sonos, have 2 x Sonos 5s in the kitchen which sound amazing and now added this Sonos 1 with Alexa to add extra control to the house. Sounds great, works great and looks the nuts also
Overal sound quality is fantastic for our small space. Primarily bought for background radio but so much more useful with Alexa and other apps. Will consider getting another for a multi room setup.
There is integration to Amazon Alexa and to Goggle Assistant. I found the Google integration was completely useless and did not work at all, that was my preferred option so had to go with Alexa in the end. That being said, the Alex integration works perfect with no issues. Although i do find the voice control sometimes does not work top tier. I’m not bothered about that, but you may of course be.
For me the sound is what i judge this speaker on. SONOS also provide the SONOS home app on your phone. This is actually pretty good and kind of works like spotify. Essentially a free streaming service for music with ads unless you buy premium. I dont tend to use it but did give it a go and liked all the curated playlists and radio stations they have made.
I’ve had a Sonia 1 for a number of years and decided to upgrade to the new model due to a house move

I purchased this Sonos One to establish a pair in the kitchen. This was even easier than setting up the original single. Can’t fault the sound quality and as a pair, the missing volume problem has been sorted. They aren’t designed to provide blaring audio but as a pair in the kitchen they’re crystal clear and we’ll balanced. Alex’s misunderstands on occasion but that’s possibly normal.
All in all very pleased.
Download the Sonos App. and the set-up is really easy. Magnificent sound quality. Been using these speakers for about 2 months now. I play music via my iPad using Airplay and it has been completely trouble free. If you really want to spoil yourself, get two and set them up as a stereo pair. Magic!
Good sound, app could be better.
Alexa works well but isn’t 100% of features for example, you can’t change the trigger word like you can on an amazon echo device. All my other devices in the house are called “echo” but I can’t change this from “Alexa” – 1st world problem but annoying.
Better than Alexa in that you can set up a home streaming server (although I haven’t got round to doing this yet) as well as connecting apps.
The Sonos One is more compact but the sound quality equals if not betters the Echo. Sits neatly on our tv cabinet and is less intrusive. Downloading the app and linking accounts was straight forward and… hey presto… BBcCsounds and much more no problem at all, just like it should be. Voice activated by either ‘Alexa’ and ‘Hey Sonos’

Excellent speaker. The one drawback was that all my other Sonia speakers are S1 software so to make the new speaker compatible I had to go through a process to downgrade its software.
Didn’t understand all the hype until I purchased this. All I can say is everything is true. It’s awesome.
So brought this product as a Christmas present for my nephew & he’s wife !!! and are extremely pleased with sound and quality build !!!
I was hoping for great sound quality, given Sonos’s reputation and I’ve not been disappointed. I don’t use Alexa much so can’t speak to that feature.
I bought this for our kitchen after a fair amount of research. We’re a split iPhone / Android household and bluetooth can be problematic (generally on the Apple side). This has the advantage of airplay which is perfect for the Apple devices, they can basically stream from most music apps directly.
Lacking bluetooth does bring limitations on the android side, as you can only use the Sonos app itself. That brings some limitations around the integrations with other music apps.
In Deezer, for example, you can’t scrub (fast forward within a track) when playing a mix, but you can when playing a single track or album.
In BBC sounds you easily play a station, but you can’t access the station schedule to play a previous programme, for example. Voice commands for BBC sounds are also not available while using the Sonos voice assistant or Google assistant, and we refuse to use Alexa having been frustrated too many times by her ineptitude.
All in all it’s the best compromise for us and I’d recommend, but be aware the system is not without it’s limitations, particularly for Android users. You’re also paying a premium for a brand badge and some of the accessories (like the box that plugs into an existing HiFi) are insanely overpriced for what they are.

The sound quality from this little speaker is superb. The main purpose for purchase was to listen to my music via a NAS drive connected to a router. This was easy to to access via the Sonos app. My only gripe is that Alexa cannot access the NAS drive.

I’m new to streaming because until quite recently my main musical tastes have not been well catered for. However, I’m impressed with the Sonos speakers. The sound might not satisfy the hi- fi cognoscenti but it is very satisfactory for every day.
I find the Alexa functions can be a bit hit and miss; they dis-install unpredictably, sometimes don’t respond to voice control or misunderstand and at least once Alexa has responded to the television, but overall I am very satisfied with the speaker.
My 1st one doesn’t have Alexa and so having the one with Alexa is an Add bonus. Love it.

The product is excellent. Delivered by Avensys within 48 hours and at a competitive price. Very pleased with my purchase.
Detailed sound. Will still buy more for other rooms. I definitely recommend this for music lovers.
The only down side is Alex’s wants to take full control without giving me option to choose where I play my music from. I play from Spotify but Alexa wanted to force me to subscribe to amazon music. As a result, I uninstalled Alexa as I do not really need it.
