Sof far the best earbuds I had!
Goods:
– you literally feel the music is playing in your head but in your ears
– the quality of music is perfect, just next level
– the bass is so deep that you feel drawing and is so heavy that you better take a seat and is pure as baby soul
– finally LOUD earbuds, I use them on my Xiaomi Mi6 (old phone) and they are very loud, I don’t struggle anymore because street noise bother me when I use earbuds, but don’t get me wrong, LOUD on these earbuds doesn’t mean the music lose quality, the sound still clear/clean/pure
– they are adjustable, 4 sizes for any ear shapes
– the equaliser in the app is more than enough, is very diversified, combined with your phone equaliser you get countless tipes of sound
– the app is simple in use, you can scan your ears like how’s your hearing and to personalize the earbuds
– etc because anyone can find many personal pluses in these earbuds
Bads:
– sometimes when opening the case one of the lights under earbud doesn’t light so you have to close and open again the case
– when playing music the connection is glitching (but it may be because of my old phone)
– you can’t turn them off until you put them in the case, I forgot once the case home so during my working hours the earbuds were on which is not very comfortable cause even they don’t play they still lose charge which is not very comfortable
– the ANC is ok, I guess on the market there are better ANC, but these are just ok on this point (can’t say that the ANC is bad)
In conclusion these earbuds worth their money +100500% and I would effectively recommend them for those people who choose them for music&bass quality and also for those who’s looking for loud earbuds.
Thank you Anker!!!
Many reviewers may say similar notes on its great quality and its crisp and defined bass quality. But the reason its a 4/5 star is because the active noise cancellation still has a ways to go to but for this budget it supposedly is 90% worth it. Overall experience is decent and phenomenonal. So close, but not there yet.
(Bought direct from Soundcore on an early bird deal)
These are my favourite – go to buds, With LDAC they are a 5 star – if you don’t have LDAC (Apple etc) they are still great but there are alternatives so please consider if your phone/device has that.
I am a bit of an ear bud/headphone junkie – and have had a wide variety over the years. Shure 846s, Timeless 7hz, various Kzs, Senns, Sonys, Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro, etc The Timeless 7hz with a dedicate headphone dac is probably the best ear bud quality rig I have. But the L3Ps get so close (and its in the 90%+) and none of that faff setting up +portable, case charging – and you get noise cancelling and the app for EQing…
If I was only allowed one set of buds it would the be L3P. Nothing is close in terms of value/features/quality.
I came from these from Ankers Libery Air 2 Pro which I was a bit disappointed with until they upgraded the firmware to include LDAC which improved it. Even with LDAC the LA2Ps arnt as good as the L3Ps and its noticeable – ok the LA2Ps are smaller and lighter but the sound quality – sorry not even close.
They only issue with the L3Ps is they are a little big – but thats because of the drivers = sound quality- I wouldn’t run or cycle with them but they are fine waking around/commuting. Ive even done the lawn and hedges with them on (power tools).
In case your looking there is a new one – the soundcore Space A40s. I haven’t heard them but I watch a lot of review and they seem to be small and light but limited in sound with the L3Ps considered better sound quality. So Im passing on those.
If you dont like ear buds – then the soundcore Q35s or even better the Q45 are over ear and excellent,
I just read this and realise I sound like a soundcore rep – I promise – Im not – its just they make great products at great prices and their customer service is amazing.
Firstly, and most importantly, the sound quality of these ear buds is really outstanding. They simply sound great. The “3D Surround Sound” setting (accessible through the Soundcore app) gives fantastic stereo separation for all types of modern music with no negative effects on sound quality that I can hear.
There are also plenty of options for tailoring the sound in plain stereo modes including the HearID mode which is based on an analysis of one’s hearing response, which is fascinating to check out for itself.
The main negative, which does not for me outweigh the positives, is that I just cannot get these buds to fit well and stay reliably in my ears, whichever of the tips and wings I use. I have really tried but they do not overcome the weight of the buds so I always have to be a bit careful not to lose them when I am out running or even fast walking. I also have a pair of the Liberty 2 Pro earbuds which fit really well and I never have a problem with these, but they simply don’t sound as good.
One other REAL annoyance for me is that the Soundcore app, which is a pretty good effort in general, requires you to log in when you open it. Fair enough, as this enables settings to be saved and so on, but it does not save your username and password in the Apple keychain, so you have to remember what these are. How stupid is this? I have hundreds of username/passwords for various logins – how do Anker expect me to remember what my password is for their app when I away from my home without access to my password list?
This is what the Keychain is for – even if for some ridiculous reason they don’t want these details to be automatically retrieved from the Keychain, they could at least provide for manually accessing it, but they don’t even do this. This really annoys me as it is a little thing to the developers but a really big annoyance to the user. This is not a high security situation, but the inconvenience of not having the password stored is a real hassle.
I’ll keep this review fairly short and sweet. I consider myself an audiphile so sound quality is a top priority.
These have the best sound quality I have ever heard from a set of earbuds/all headphones… By a long shot. I have owned the Sony WF-1000XM3 buds, Bose QC 35 ii and QC 45 and a number of lesser costing earphones and these blow everything I’ve ever tried out of the water.
The soundstage is very wide with clear instrument placement. Treble is very crisp however never harsh (a big fault of the QC 45). Midrange is always perfectly present, and the bass is spot on. It has that theatre low Hz bass that is hard to find on headphones but it does not use this in an overpowering way. This is the only set of headphones I’ve used where I haven’t had to tinker endlessly with the equaliser.
Max volume is also the loudest I’ve ever experienced (with absolutely no distortion at max) and the ANC is decent. Yes it’s not Bose/Sony level of ANC but on 75% volume on a train or plane you will never hear your surroundings.
Battery life is brilliant too. I did have a few connection issues early on but two software updates have completely fixed that.
Bare in mind it is PARAMOUNT to use these in LDAC mode. Not turning this on puts them in basic ACC Bluetooth quality which does not give these earphones a chance to shine. There is a clear quality increase when switching to LDAC.
Perhaps the only complaint I have is that they are slightly laggy/out of sink when watching movies/TV shows etc. However this isn’t an issue for me as I use VLC player which has an inbuilt audio sync delay feature. Also the surround and wide soundstage is fantastic on these with Dolby Atmos on my Samsung tablet.
Absolutely recommended. Don’t fall for all the marketing hype of Sony & Bose!
Great sounding headphones. Noise cancellation is not as good as brands like Bose and Sony but these are a lot cheaper.
You get lots of options with regards to size of buds and fittings and these fit even with my tiny little ears. Comfortable to wear for prolonged periods too.
There is an app to go with these and I highly recommend you use it to get the best out of them
No idea what kinda Hocus Pocus is going on under the hood but these little guys are superb. I love almost everything about them.
Double connect is a wonderful thing and works flawlessly for me.
Still getting the hang of the app but so far, so good!
I have used AirPods Pro since their release and never really liked the build quality. Saw a few reviews of these so thought I’d try them out.
Gotta say they blow AirPods Pro out of the water. Audio is crisp, make sure to get the app and set them up for your ears, it’s a game changer.
Multiple tips and fit parts for ears
Highly recommend
I always trust soundcore to deliver amazing sound quality with their liberty pro series. Some of the best customisation options out there regarding eq and settings. ANC might be a bit dissapointing for some people. However, ANC truely shines when you are listening to something at a low volume. It really kicks in when there is audio and truely blocks out a lot of sound. Very high quality for the price. Very comfortable fit and are much lighter than the liberty 2 pros. Finally, the battery life with these is great (it is an anker product after all). Even with LDAC and noice cancelling on, they will last a decent amount of time. Overall, a really good wireless earphone/IEM.
These are the BEST I have heard, even better than Liberty 2 Pro. I still prefer matt finish and button control, but hey ho. These sound amazing .
I seen a lot of reviews about these on YouTube and took the plunge and bought a pair . Well the sound quality is totally amazing . I do recommended doing the fit test and the hearing test when you first use these . I find it hard to get a good fit in one of my ears but that’s my ears not the product . The battery life isn’t as good as they claim , if your jumping tracks your listening too and talking on the phone via the earbuds you will use the battery life a lot faster. But still they are amazing for this price . I love them
After all the great reviews, i got lured into buying a pair, i didnt need one but i caved into impulse, as i needed a gym friendly pair, my Sony’s WF 1000XM4s are no doubt amazing but cause ear fatigue and not suited for the gym, airpods pro supremely comfortable, but again not suitable for the gym.
Liberty 3 pro, though has decent sound, compares to the neutral sound of Airpods Pro, but not omg wow, perhaps my ears have been spoiled by the Sony’s and Galaxy Buds Pro. AnC is very decent, not Sony Or Airpods wow, but very decent. I have used a handful of budget and mid range anc buds.
One thing that is very mediocre here is the ambient mode, its very very mediocre compared to Airpods Pro and Sony’s.
If your a Samsung user, id suggest getting the Buds pro, that being said on Android u have the option of enabling Ldac, which raises the sound quality. Ive used them on both my iPhone and my S20, digital tracks and spotify.
Id give them 3.5 stars overall
I have tried any number of headphones. The best I’ve had are a pair of over ear by Bose. These compare to the Bose in every way.
I have had Jabras before but the Liberty 3s knock Jabra into a cocked hat.
Buy these and you get Bose sound quality at less than half the price.
Recommended.
These have awesome sound quality, due apparently to the dual drivers they use. My previous earbuds were cheap 25 basic buds and the difference in sound quality is huge. I can now hear the bass guitarist for the first time. Lots of other details have come to the fore too.
Also the microphone for making phone calls is very good. People have no problems hearing me whereas with cheap buds the mic is usually not really up to the task.
Initially had problems with the sound quality with virtually no bass – the biggest factor in this was choosing the right bud tips. They need to be big enough to seal the ear canal.
Overall, very impressed and pleased I got these.
I use these ear buds so I can concentrate at work whilst cutting out the background noise and listening to my favourite tunes. Just keep in mind the link to your Apple Watch can drop out after a major update, but really it’s no bother to re-link.
Good sound quality. The fit isn’t so great it tends to work itself loose.Battery life not great with Noise cancellation on.
With this sound and quality – the best so far, the frequency resolution is impressive, the build quality is excellent and last but not least the battery life …. after all this is Anker guys!
I wasn’t sure about these at first but after a couple of days finding the right fit and setting the touch functions up to my needs I can honestly say they’re amazing. The app probably makes these better than they should be, giving so many customization choices. It’s been about 3 months using these every day and the battery still holds really well. The sound quality for the price has got to be one of the best on the market and the ANC works as well as other way more expensive earphones.
Only hole I could pick is they can sometimes be a bit quiet in some circumstances, like listening to a podcast on a loud commute but the anc and changing the eq helps with this. Call quality is great unless it’s really windy.
These earbuds are great, my previous buds were Google Pixel Buds A-Series, and they are nothing compared to these. Incredibly well made, the package is superb and you just get the feeling that Anker give a crap about their products and what their customers think. Great product, highly recommended.
It has some weird…moments of no signal hat randomly occur. If it wasn’t for those it would get a full starred review.
Can’t play audio from multiple devices simultaneously but you can quickly switch between 2 or manage multiple through the app, which is nice when you have a phone and multiple laptops to deal with.
Once you find the correct size fittings for your ears, they stay in place and are comfortable to wea
I been looking to buy these for a while, but was a bit to expensive. The the price dropped to 99 So, I bought them. I wasn’t disappointed, they sound great, noise canceling is really good, and app has many features. For the price, I think I got a good deal.
All good, comfortable, great sound & good battery life.
Case is a bit fiddly to get buds in & out, minor issue though.
Noise-Cancellation is also very good.
Having already owned a pair of Sony wh-1000xm3 I wanted something more descrete to wear out and about or when just relaxing in the house rather than over ear headphones and these don’t disappoint.
The noise cancelling both passive (from the seal they create in your ears) and when actually enabled it’s quite good, obviously not top grade but truthfully I don’t think you need more than these offer from earbuds.
Sound quality wise I’ve tweaked the equaliser myself to my own personal taste and again they sound great.
I’ve had no issues with disconnects or drop out like others have reported, but I do find audio stutters specifically when I’ve tried to connect them a pc or laptop, also some people have said the call quality sounds a little echoey but otherwise clear.
Overall a good pair of earbuds that I would happily recommend.
I’ve always opted for branded products believing they would be superior quality and, provide the best reproduction soundwaves. However, I’m so pleased with the Anker brand! They have outperformed my Beats and Sennheisser in and on ear headphones. For the money, you will not be disappointed!!
Firstly I don’t have trained hearing so ether you like the tuning or you don’t but you have plenty of pre-set EQ options and customisable ones as well from the app and a hearing test which tunes the buds to what it thinks is the best audio for you and surprisingly that’s what I use, normally I tune my own EQ. Volume I think they get loud enough you could damage your hearing not the loudest buds I’ve come across but loud enough for me at least.
ANC: that’s fine as well it dose reduce low end noise and automatically adapts to your surroundings if you set that feature on from the app, or just have it on full. Ambient mode: certainly works as intended.
Connectivity: super excellent probably the longest range and stable buds I own. Pairing with two phones works great but you do have to give up LDAC and slum it with SBC.
So these buds are feature packed, you do have to download the app to access all the bells and whistles and after a firmware update and you download the LDAC codec and a few more hurdles to cross your good to go. It took me about thirty minuets to set these up from the app customise the controls etc… but I think it was worth it in the end.
Comfort: surprisingly comfortable and light weight considering they do look quite awkward on first sight, the case isn’t as big as I thought it would be, fairly slim and compact, getting the buds into the case is an ongoing learning curve for me and finally the battery: I probably get five maybe five and a half hours working time with my personal usage, yours may vary depending on volume, ANC and codec used.
In conclusion I own many sets of TWS these are the set I use exclusively now.
Disclaimer, “I paid for this myself” 109.99, either during a lightning deal or full price
I have a LOT of headphones. This is partly because Iove keeping up with the latest gadgets and also partly because each set of headphones I own always has at least one thing about them that bothers me. Not these.
Let’s start with whats most important – the sound. It’s audio fidelity is insanely good. It take a good week or so of tweaking with the EQ setting to getting them exactly as you want them but it’s WELL worth the effort. I tried the presets and they just didn’t do it for me. I used the inbuilt testing system to build a pattern for each ear and then jsut tweaked this to take the brightness out of it. Now I’ve got gorgeous full bass tones, I can hear the defenition of sticks on cycmbals and the guitars are crunching along like they’re supposed to (I’m listening to Spoons new album as I write this). I listen to an array of music and these things keep up with ALL of it. Perfectly. The mix and dynamics across my ears make these the best headphones I own by a LONGSHOT. I’ve Jabras, Sennheisers, Sonys, Beats – these just win every time.
Everything else – case is stupily slim and easy to get around in a pocket. They charge in no time (USB-C). Connection never drops (with iPhone).
Call Quality is great (as I use these when out walking and on calls with work) – I’d love a mute button but can do without it given all the other plusses. Mute background noise and wind really well and they never fall out.
The button presses are effective and simple. Always work!
They are crazy comfy – plenty of wings and earbud options to get you the fit you need. Again, worth playing around with. Once you have it they just won’t move.
From someone who has spent a LOT of money on headphones over the years – save yourself any more trouble and just buy these. Be patient with the fit and EQ to get them set up for you. Once you do you won’t regret it.
Great sound quality when the equaliser is used
3D sound stage is not so good
No cancellation is grea
Excellent soundstaging, deep satisfying bass and best in class fit.
ANC and transparency modes both work as expected.
The only downside is the default ear-splitting treble, which absolutely must be dialed down on first use. The ‘hearing test’ both makes this worse and feels very uneven.
When you’ve figured out your own ideal settings, these are blissful to wear and use. My old much-loved Spirit Pro’s now feel like utter garbage in compariso
First what I don’t like compare to libert 2 pro..
1. Case in L2P maybe is bigger but more solid…
2. Definitely buttons are more useful than touch pad
3. In L3P will be nice to get any voice approve or sound but more louder when change ANC I never know on which mode I am. I can hear only when music is on pause /stop
4. Wings in L2P as well are more solid
5. Hear ID is better like in L2P
And finally sound .. yes That’s perfect clear like poem… Definitely better compare to L2P
These are the very best EarPods that I have ever used. The quality of sound far exceeded any anticipation. Setting up was amazing and connection to two devices is immediate. The sound cancelling really works. The mobile phone app is very helpful and settings using the HearID test was more than helpful for my old ears. I suffer with tinnitus and it’s such a relief that when wearing the Ear Pods it is blissfully cancelled out. The Ear Pods are just so comfortable to wear all evening, and can move about without them falling out. Finally just to mention the packaging, excellently designed and with the variety of ear wings and the ear tips, comfort is guaranteed.
Thank you Soundcore for an excellent product.
The best headphones I’ve ever owned for sound quality – only reason I’ve given it 4 stars is it’s taken me a little while to find the best fit for my ears, however there are so many options of earbuds and stabilisers that you get there eventually. Cannot fault the sound quality – top notch!
This earphones almost don’t have weak points. Great noise cancelling, connection with two devices at the same time, superb comfort, battery life. Sound quality wise they are very good but not perfect. Bass is great, mids are too recessed, vocals sounds tiny and without power. Highs are great as well. Overall great product.
With having that in mind- Nothing yet replaces wired head phones in the industry.
These pair serve the primary purpose of swapping calls between my laptop and mobile during office hours. When call come through while in a meeting I am able to pick up that call then swap back to office call on my laptop. A bit trivial at first but you get used to it. Choice of fittings supplied for comfort. Noise cancellation 95% very good. Transparent allows noise in too. Sound quality I can live with but not a music fan. Tested Star Wars and the battles sound great. Stylish by the way. Love the Silver colour giving Sci-fi looks. Apple/Android both Rocks. Charge wise I got 3+ hours in Noise cancellation. Think it last 5 to 6 hours not totally sure I don’t really care. After 2 hours or 3 hours I normally put them back in the case then back on again. So by that time they are charged again. My use will be different then my dogs of course. He likes music. 😉
Great sound quality. I have a pair of Periodic Audio Carbon, which is my go to earbuds for clarity and accuracy. But these Liberty Pro 3 reproduce more details. Yes, there is distortion, and there is bound to be. But if you are not an audio puritan and merely want to enjoy the music, I think you would like the Liberty Pro 3.
One thing I noticed though, after using the noise cancellation for half an hour, I was feeling a really strange kind of pressure in my head. I was never one to fuss over ANC, anyway. So I just went back to normal mode.
Battery life is really good. Can’t complain at all.
You really feel the build quality of the Liberty Pro 3 the moment you hold them.
Reasonably good sound quality and good app features but don’t think it’s worth the price.
I have owned many earbuds (B&O, Bose, Samsung, Jabra, Jaybird…) to the point I’m quite obsessed with them.
Once you get the right EQ (that is also customable using the app) these are personally by far the best sounding earbuds. Audiophile quality – clean sound and brilliant ANC! Bear in mind these retail at 149 with offers popping up now and again. For what you pay you get a lot of features in which you will only find in earbuds over 200. The app also makes the controls in the earbuds very customable!
Although they are in the “bigger” side they’re comfortable – I cant why you will not find the right fit as it comes with lots of ear tips and wings.
If there is any cons it would be it’s size and putting the earbuds back in it’s case – not as easy as just chucking them back in the case as like the other earbuds.
Other than that they are pretty much perfect for what you pay.
The sound quality is great for the price as is the noise cancelling (the app works really well for switching between modes as well). BUT…the main reason I love these headphones is the fit. I’ve always struggled to find comfortable in ear headphones that don’t fall out. These fit great (with the right buds and wings fitted) and they stay firmly in place even when running.
These also have an air pass through feature which makes wearing them with noise cancelling on more comfortable as well.
All around 5*
Let me sum it up in a few words. Go ahead and buy these. They can’t be be beat even at twice the price.
i did experience drop with my garmin fenix 7x pro solar but its not the buds its the watch same on my previous gamin 5x 6x. I have bose 700 headphones and sound is as good well worth the money. My only gripe is i wish they made these with onboard mp3 and 8gb to store music then would be 10/10 id give 9.8/10
Finding the right fit to ensure proper noise cancellation can be a bit of a struggle (I tried many different combinations before picking what I currently use). Maybe not quite worth 140, but undoubtedly a very good produc
Unfortunately left earbud is quite often disconnecting from charging case. Also the case is not closing to full after a week of use.
They might be to big for small ears.
I have small ears and they fall from my ears from time to time specially when using them during eating when moving my jaw they getting out it is funny to write down such things but I hope it will help you to make right choice in case you have small ear bear in mind they might not be very stable.
I love the way they sound found them more pleasant and detailed sound that the best selling Q30 headphones.
Battery life is very good but 4 stars for left one keep disconnecting.
Loved the noise cancellation
Sound quality very good
Just a tiny bit bright for my personal taste but minor issue
Battery life ok not quite as good as advertised
Nice charging Dock lasted me 2 and half days
Good value for money in my opinio
I spent a lot of money on airpod pros and thought they where amazing
But then I got this and OMG the Quality style the sound clarity
And how you can adjust every sound
Will never go back to AirPods
And for the cost wow I feel like they should be priced around same as apple
Had the cheap and cheerful Soundcore A1 Life siblings to these for a while, and love those – best 30 I spent in a long while. So these had to be a substantial step up right? Well, yes and no.
Firstly I got a deal on these, 40 off the advertised price, nice one – so I expected to be blown away for the value my 89.99 represented, right? Again, yes and no, but I would definitely have been disappointed if I had paid full price, but I didn’t so let’s set that to one side and talk about them in context as 90 earbuds.
In that category, I think they compete extremely well quality wise with anything else I’ve tried in that price area for the money, extremely good for musical resolution and detail.
Curious that Anker have thrown all in with LDAC, at the expense of not retaining any version of APTX, which I personally prefer as a codec for its low latency, but that’s a personal observation.
The BT app on these is excellent and everything seems to work exactly as it should so again no complaints in that area. Not sure if the hearing test is much more than a gimmick bu the multiple eq settings and the ability to tweak a custom mode is very well done indeed.
So all that said there seems to be nothing to dislike right. Nearly but not quite. Good in so many ways, BUT the amplification is sadly, weak. I’ve never ever had to run BT earbuds at full volume, nor could I usually tolerate it, but here I am running them at near max volume most of the time. Also it was noticeable that switching to LDAC mode knocked the volume back further than the SBC or AAC codecs.
The much cheaper Life A1 lack LDAC, but are louder, have longer battery life and in the end are overall better value than these.
Shame, 4 stars in the end for me for the Liberty 200 Pro Upgraded – very good in so many ways, but just not quite loud enough.
I’ve bought all the brand names earphone and none compare to these.
I have had numerous wireless earphones over the past couple of years, but have always kept to the sub 30 bracket, always wondering, how much of a difference a premium pair can really offer, especially as the MPOW ones in particular are very good. But WOW, once you try, there truly is no going back. Its like Bluray over VHS, its like a PS5 over a playstation 1, its a world apart. Sound quality is like full over ear 200+ headphones. Noise reduction is hugely impressive and the bass is both customisable to your preference but is truly astounding. The App this comes with is also fantastic, it takes 15 minutes to fully set it up to your exact hearing ability but once done, you hear parts of music you have overlooked and never heard before. Regardless of your taste in music, this truly is life changing and at the price an excellent purchase. I dont leave reviews often, but this deserves to be heard!
Best earbuds I’ve ever had. Much better quality than the airpods pro. I hear parts of songs I’ve never heard before. The quality and clarity of the audio is truly outstanding.
They are very very comfortable to wear. I already have Soundcore earphones and their noise cancelling is better than the earbuds. I suspect that I still need to set them up correctly though. Excellent produc
Absolutely amazing value, awesome sound, all soundcore headphone I’ve purchased are faultless. Why pay more..
After using these mid tier ear phones for over a month, I can say that I am more than happy with my purchase. Great sound quality on my phone & 55in Samsung TV. The ANC is adequate for me. It is not in the same league as my Sony XM3s, but it comes closer than I expected for their small, compact form factor. For the price, I can recommend them. Nice feeling charging case is another plus point.
I bought these earbuds as a replacement for the airpod pros, i was one of the few that suffer with the airpod pros constantly falling out my ears.
glad to report that i do not suffer any issues with fitment on the Soundcores. They are very comfortable and stay secure when moving, eating, talking – a massive improvement over the airpods which would fall out even when sat still working.
The sound quality is amazing, i was genuinely surprised how much more full sounding they are than the airpod pros. On the first day i was sat smiling – they just hit different to what i was used to – even for a non-audiophile like me, just listening to streamed music.
I have marked down the noise cancelling, as for my use case the transparency mode is no where near as good / clever as it is on the airpod pros.
Other than that, my only gripe is my iphone won’t automatically use the earbuds as audio/mic source when answering calls, i have to tap the sound button and pick them from the list – i imagine thats something i could resolve but honestly its a non-issue.
These are fantastic buds as many reviewers have already stated with a great supporting app that you can use to tweak the sound to your individual taste.
But the only thing I will say is that as they are the upgrade to the Liberty 2 Pro which I also own, for me, these are not quite as good sound wise as the 2 pro’s.
Yes there are extra features such as the ANC and LDAC, plus these do look better but the 2 Pros just sound to me that they have more punch and sound customisation.
It’s an individual thing I suppose as I listen to a lot of hip hop and dance music but that said, these are still 5 star buds.
I loved these ear buds the sound and the anc were excellent the app is amazing but I just could not get them to fit snuggle in my ear tried all different tips and just could not get them secure in my ear hence reluctantly had to send back
Saw a lot of positive reviews about these so decided to buy them. They are fabulous earbuds easily one of the best i’ve owned.
The noise cancellation works really well, and the app is really easy to use. I’m really impressed with the comfort of these earbuds wearing them causes no discomfort at all such, a good design shape. Overall a great set of earbuds.
After trying 5 pairs of in ear buds, one being sennheiser which did sound brilliant but hurt my ears terribly I have finally found some comfortable ones with the most different size buds and cuffs to chose from and you don’t have to ram them right into your ear to get a brilliant sound. There may be others out there that sound better but as I have spent about 800 trying different ones and you can’t return them I would recommend these for comfort alone and they do sound really good and have excellent nc too.
The only thing I’m missing on these to my old galaxy buds is the hold and press for Spotify yet the sound on these to my old one well the soundcore blows them out of the water never know earbuds could sound so grea
These buds have a great sound quality, and a brilliant app.
I am using with LDAC and HEAR ID is brilliant. The sound quality has rich deep Bass with crisp but not over bearing treble.
I find the sound quality and noise cancelling better than the Sony headphones Sony WF-1000XM4 (which I purchased for twice the price but returned as I did not find the Noise cancelling very effective and the fit was not great)
I also have a pair of wh1000xm Sony over ear headphones which has the best Noise cancelling you can find and is much better than the NC on the Liberty pro 3’s.
Hope this is helpful
When the tests are done and you get the right sized ear tips they sound really good . Nice presentation when you open them for the first time they were delivered when expected and I’m more than happy with them
Straight of the bat come the presentation box is slick and impressive, the number of air tips and wings are impressive. But to get down to the nitty gritty these buds are genuinely impressive, sound quality and build are simply fantastic, active noise cancellation is really good for travelling on public transport nicely cutting down or out surrounding of the bus or train, as fr the ambient settings really usable in a work environment to hear those who interrupt your listening pleasure. The available companion app has great options for EQ and hearing tests to set a personalised EQ setting plus the stock EQ’s availability are pretty good too with the option for supporting LDAC is a joy on the ears. A definite buy for music lovers.
These are good earbuds. They fit well and are comfortable to wear for long duration. Sound quality is very good. However the sound drops for about a second during playback every half hour or so (meaning the BT buffer in the buds is inadequate)
Their problem is the for 60 more you can have the Sony WF-1000XM4 that IS BETTER IN EVERY CATEGORY, including sound quality! To make these competitive, the price needs to drop.
Elsewhere the case is badly designed and the buds do not go easly in; you have to be careful to position them corrected, otherwise they do not charge. Taking then out of the case is also difficult due to the design. Battery life is OK but not stellar. I only use LDAC connection, and I got 3.5 hours off a full charge.
A price drop and a firmware update to remove sound dropouts will make these a best buy, but as such I sent mine back and kept the Sony WF-1000XM4.
The noise cancellation is really good – I could compare it to my over ear Sony ones! Its still strange as the reviews on these online are quite mixed bag. But I think its down to the fit. The ear buds have to sit snuggly in your ear canal – this improves the sound/bass and gives good passive noise cancellation, which helps with the active noise cancellation. If they are too lose, you lose the ANC and sound.
The Sound out of box is quite treble sharp… the bass to me wasn’t ever too strong though. Running the app that scans your ear really helps to make the sound stage really good. Surprisingly nice, no complaints there.
Cons,,, The right earbud started not want to charge or connect. Too many times soI had no option but to return these. Anker’s great support was offering a Hermes collection/replacement but as I’m not home always, I opted to return to Amazon. Unfortunately when trying ordering a replacement, the price had gone up. So I’m waiting for price going down again… I do want to have these agai
I’m new to ear buds so have nothing to compare these to but totally blown away. From the packaging, selection of buds and wings, the look and feel of the case, ease of set up and use and the sound quality.
Delighted and would recommend to anyone
eally like the fit in my ears, comfortable and light to wear, great sound with much better definition than my previous pair, so far very happy, not the most expensive ear buds out there, but not the cheapest by a fair margin. liking the noise cancelling, one of the reasons I chose these
These buds have a wonderfully clear, vibrant sound, they have very good ANC that is very close to the more expensive, but exceptional WF-1000XM4 by Sony. To have those you’d be adding around an extra 70 to the budget at time of writing. They both have very comprehensive apps that greatly enhance the functionality /use of the buds. I would have preferred a set of Comply eartips to have been thrown in to the bundle here, but it certainly isn’t a deal breaker. Everything is improved from the Liberty 2’s, and they were a good set of buds. The Liberty 3’s are certainly comfortable, the wings add an extra layer of security, preventing them falling out, the touch controls work well and are very responsive, in fact in my opinion, at this price point I’d say it would be a real challenge to find a better all round excellent set of buds, that in many ways is very close to the XM4’s. It. Is of course subjective, and you have to select the right eartips, with a good seal or they could potentially sound quite flat, but that goes for all Truly Wireless earbuds. Personally, I highly recommend these, at this price point I’ve not used better.
These earphones are great, you want a lot of bass? These got you, however nothing else sound wise gets left behind, drowned out or forgotten. Battery life is very decent and noise cancellation is scarily accurate and good. And the case feels and looks very premium and like the touch of the illuminating LED lights inside. definitely wasn’t necessary but definitely appreciated. my only gripe which i hope isn’t just me is often the audio will just cut out for a few seconds and come back or it will sort of temporarily switch to this poor sounding audio, again for a few seconds and return to normal. other than that, a pair of great sounding, comfortable, premium earbuds!
Very fast delivery, these are really nice earbuds they are very good quality thank you A+++
Using LDAC codec I’ve found sound to be great. There’s great clarity and you can really pick out the different instruments on each track. They are are more comfortable than other earbuds I have and think the wing tips help. My only downside is the case which is incredibly light and seems a bit plasticy and bulky. The key thing for me though is the sound and I’m more than happy with the standard default sound signature offered, hence my score of five stars.
Really impressed so far. These buds are absolutely fantastic and I’m really really impressed. I’m no audiophile but I know what I like. I’ve had AirPods, AirPod pro’s, momentum’s and these are the best sound out of all of them. I watched so many reviews and there seems to be a uniform response when it comes to sound quality and value for money. No issues with connectivity as yet. The fit is very secure because of the added wings. If everything remains as impressive then this brand will be my go to when looking for buds.
The best earbuds I ever had so far and I had lots…trust..
Fantastic product. Sound quality is absolutely amazing, features are awesome. App control is a breeze, noise cancellation is very good, use them every day the fit is perfect and they don’t move once they are in your eyes. Feel great quality. Soundcore has pulled it off yet again. Highly recommended.
TLDR: these earbuds are better in every category I can think of, compared to the Liberty Pro 2, and in terms of value vs quality these are easily the best buy.
Sound Quality
These are very good out the box with the default sound profile, the Hear ID profile it made for me was also very good but felt unbalanced since it was louder in one ear.
I made my own custom equaliser, using the one in the app, and it’s easily the best sounding earbud I have ever used.
Noise Cancellation
Compared to a few other earbuds I have used it is better than they were, however I can still hear external sounds (even after using the different sized earbud tips it comes with to get a good seal and doing the noise cancellation test in the app).
It’s good, and if you have music playing at the same time you’re unlikely to hear other sounds, but there is probably better out there.
Passive Mode / Hear-Through / Side Tone
This works alot better than I was expecting and, unlike the Liberty Air 2 I owned, it doesn’t affect the sound quality of the music when using it. You can hear yourself talk through the mic, which makes for much better conversation with people, and in general you can hear others talking to you really well (and other sounds)
Design & Comfort
These are MUCH more comfortable than the Liberty 2 Pro and it doesn’t sacrifice on the security of the fit, I was actually surprised at how much more comfortable they were, I could wear these all day!
They are smaller in general too so look a bit nicer in the ear.
I also like the case too, it’s similar to it’s predecessor but much smaller.
Battery Life
I don’t wear these for long time use usually, the most I used them for was about 5 hours and they didn’t run out of battery, even using the LDAC mode (which is Sony’s higher fidelity mode for better sound quality at the expense of battery life).
Features
I love all the features and the app is even better than it was a year ago.
I’ve not used the dual paring mode yet, but all the other features work well.
Not too sure about the HearID still though, it’s ok but I feel like it doesn’t give me the best tuned experience over what I can get by making a custom equaliser.
Cons
The only cons I can think of is that the ANC isn’t as good as some others and I would have liked to see the new Qualcomm AptX Enhance codec on these too. Other than that only a sleazy marketing move where they released these buds for a lower price to get good reviews then bumped up the price once the reviews were out.
Overall
You won’t find better earbuds for the money. They are worth full retail price (140) but I got them for 120 with a voucher. I didn’t like that these were released for a lower price initially to let YouTube reviewers rave about the value and then bump up the price once the reviews were out, that’s bad form Anker/Soundcore, but luckily these are still worth it even at the bumped up price.
These are so good that they are probably as good as earbuds costing double the price of these ones.
If you find these at anywhere close to, or less than, 100 it’s a no brainer to buy them if you want a good pair of wireless earbuds.
These buds have great sound good bass looks fabulous in the case but not for me really hurt my ears when wearing them but that just for me would recommend them tho.
When I first tried them, I thought they sounded terrible, but then I went into the app and tried the Hear ID test where it tested my hearing and it completely changed the sound, to how I loved it.
Very full and fun sound! They get very loud compared to other earbuds. Bass is where it needs to be, not too overpowering but not minimal either.
ANC is solid. Transparency mode was bad to begin with but completely transformed after an update, it’s now pretty good. Battery life is decent, about 6 hrs with a mix of ANC on and off. Multipoint is nice to have. Friends can hear me just fine when wearing them so mics are pretty good.
Negatives: quick second cut-out every couple hrs. Battery life could be improved slightly.
In conclusion, best sounding earbuds I’ve tried. Very dynamic sounding. Sennheiser and Sony better wake up, there’s a new bud on the block!
I had the Samsung buds + but as much as their sound quality was awesome I used to have to keep pushing them back into my ears. They’d come loose just walking around, not even doing anything vigorous. I have an earlier version of the soundcore buds and thought I’d try these. I’m not disappointed! As others have said they do occasionally cut out but it’s literally a second then they kick back in. Very comfortable to wear even for long commutes.
The sound quality on this earphone is outstanding with wide sound stage & excellent separation and very clean sound. I also own Lib 2 Pro and the BO 3rd Gen at twice the cost. The sound on this Lib 3 Pro based on my type of musics such as pop, Jazz and classic beat the BO by far. In addition, the amount of customisation and battery life are amazing, plus it is so much more comfortable than my BO. The ANC and Mic on the Lib 3 Pro is also brilliant and similar to the BO.
Who is this for? If you want fantastic sounds with very long battery life and comfort then Lib 3 Pro.
If you just want a flashy name and money isn’t an issue then go for the BO 3rd Gen.
This Lib 3 Pro meets all my criteria;
1. Sound Quality (the most important)
2. Battery life
3. Comfort.
These were the latest releases from Soundcore and had received very positive reviews from others so I decided to give them a go. So far they are definitely the best I have tried from a wireless bud perspective! The fit for me is fantastic and they are not too heavy so the wear comfortably all day.
I use these daily for work and the connection has been rock solid. Connecting to two devices at once is very handy and just makes them easy to use.
The ANC feature works very well at cutting out background noise which is handy in certain situations and likewise the transparency mode is very useful and works well.
Listening to music is head and shoulders above other buds I’ve used and there is full customisation with the sound profile which can be tailored to your personal preference.
Battery life takes a hit if they are constantly in transparency or NC mode so I don’t tend to use these all the time if I want a full day of use without charging them.
Overall definitely very happy with these so no regrets whatsoever. If your looking for a good set of buds for both work and music this definitely should be considered.
I have the liberty 2 pro upgraded version which have an amazing fit these are the same but the sound on these is amazing it’s just perfect these will not be beaten for a long time
I, like many other people watched loads of reviews on these and there wasn’t a negative thing about them, I now see why, the noise cancelling on these when listening is second to none, I can’t hear anything, I didn’t even hear a bus drive right past me as I was walking, the transparency mode which enhances sounds for you to hear things like voices and your surroundings isn’t terrible I think it’s absolutely fine, battery life is amazing no problems there and now we get to the sound quality, amazing, some of the best I’ve ever heard in my life, I could here small intricate details I couldn’t hear before in songs, the quality is amazing for all types of music, bands and groups ranging from my personal favourite Linkin Park then jumped to Queen and heard the best I’ve ever heard of Bohemian Rhapsody, jumping from The Score to Billie Eilish to so on and so on and on a side note I nearly forgot about comfort, they give you a nice choice of wings and tips, if you can’t find the right combo In this box earphones aren’t for you, if you buy these earbuds you won’t have any regrets, just amazing pleasure to your ears. just don’t forget to download the soundcore app to make your music more musical!
These earbuds are the best I have had. I had used the Liberty 2 Pros which still are brilliant, but they are now my backup earbuds. The sound quality is excellent with these. The noise cancelling with these I have given 4*, as it’s very good but not perfect, otherwise I cannot complain about this item. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Well worth the money
Best sound of any earbuds I’ve owned, I’ve owned: AirPods Pro, Sennheiser momentum 2, Sony Xm1004, Samsung Buds pro and Jabra 75t.
These are the best sounding of all of them, only gripe would be the touch controls can be hit or miss but it’s the same for the others (apart from the Sennheisers).
Pretty good fit. Outside noise still heard. Still need get hang of the controls. Easy to sleep with. But the box….oh its nice, comfy & you don’t notice it in your pocket.
Activate LDAC in your phone and the quality is incredible. Volume is good on these but not quite enough for me.. loading a Sound Booster app on my phone did the trick.
Sadly I noticed that the left earbud wasn’t connecting, with a charge staying at 10% no matter how long they were in the case. After trying various things I had to return them…
I loved these earbuds.. would I buy another pair… well no, the first pair from Anker and they’re faulty which doesn’t give me much confidence with these…. though I have many other things from Anker this puts me off
I have just worn these Liberty 3 Pro ear buds for several hours on a flight and on a very windy beach. The noise cancelling was absolutely superb. When activated, I could not hear anything at all. Nothing. Complete silence. The Soundcore app runs through a test diagnostic while you wear them. It will identify if the fit is good or if you need to change the soft silcone ear buds for the best noise cancellation. It will also test your current range of hearing, and then build a sound profile for your ears. I was astounded at how good that was. I mean, truly exceptional. They are very comfortable to wear, and will not fall out no matter how hard you try, so must be good for sports and dancing too.
Sound quality. – The bass is the best I have ever heard on ear buds, and the noise cancellation appears to be highly effective. The sound is really defined too, not booming or muffled or distant.
Operation – You simply hold your finger against either the left or right bud for 2 seconds to enable or disable the noise cancellation. One tap on the left decreases the volume and one tap on the right to increase it. The Soundcore app makes it easy to reassign the actions to the taps. The charging case is perfect. Really easy to put in and take out. Very small too, with a neat slide action lid, which made it easy to use in the confined space on a plane. They fit really well and are low profile when you are wearing them. I was surprised at how small they were. They looked bigger in the advertising.
My final verdict. – I ordered all the review topping buds and these are the ones I kept. Very pleased and would highly recommend them. I ordered the white and silver/grey colours. I elected to keep the silver/grey. Stunning if you can still get that colour. The white was tempting, but everyone said the silver/grey was head and shoulders better in terms of appearance. These ear buds have got it all. Great for sports, great for sound quality, great for making phone calls, connects to my laptop and my phone simultaneously, so great for Teams meetings and taking phone calls too. Plus they look just amazing.
This piece is amazing. Very very comfortable for long time. You can wear it as long as the battery last, and you don’t even realize there is something in your ears. You can do whatever you want in the gym, no movement either. Really impressed me.
Recently I’ve gone through quite a few tws buds trying to find the best sound quality at a reasonable price. I’ve used the Panasonic rz-s500, Edifier NeoBuds Pro and Sony WF1000-XM3 then these. After watching numerous reviews from the likes of el jefe, flossy carter, Aaron Law and many others I decided to give these a go. Consider me a believer, the hype is real, mostly.. Easy to pair up with my iPhone and my Samsung tablet, the multi-point connection works fine. The hearID test took a little while but so far it is pretty good with the custom eq that it made for my ears, a bit brighter than I would normally use but after a few hours I’m actually quite happy with it. The bass is nice and deep as well and with plenty of preset eq options and a fully customisable 5 band eq you can pretty much tailor it to whatever you like, but be warned, the highs can get pretty harsh if you aren’t careful. The fit is good pretty good, the buds come with no tips attached to encourage you to find the right size , 4 sizes of tips and wings/fins are available to play around with. All in I’m thoroughly impressed and there are no regrets. The anc isn’t quite up to the standards of the Sony XM4 buds but they’re damn close and considering these are currently 60 less than the Sonys it’s something I can live with. Transparency mode is probably the only mode that lets it down but a recent firmware update has dramatically improved it and I’m fairly certain that Anker will keep updates and improvements coming for a good while.
These ear buds have got to be my best purchase of the year and I do buy quite a bit of tech stuff, the sound quality is absolutely amazing come from my Amazon Echo Buds the original 1’s I couldn’t believe the difference in sound quality of these it really rocked me when I switched the setting to LDAC with Amazon music HD and using a Samsung Note 10 5G plus they really do sound superb, I bought them on the first week of release so I got the sale price of 99 here on Amazon, I bought them after seeing and reading quite a few reviews and I didn’t see or read a bad 1 they were praised for the quality by every review I seen but it was already in my mind to buy them because I had bought a pair of Soundcore Motion Booms which I use for my music and they sit each side of my TV and are used for TV speakers which works really well but on the music side they have absolutely beautiful sound even on full volume and with True Wireless Stereo sound so good so I already had a taste of Soundcore products so I expected the buds to be good but not as good as they turned out to be. When you work out the right tips and wings for your ears which can be a bit of a chore but that’s because you have so much choice when you first buy them and once you work out the size they sit beautifully in the ears with a snug fit in the ears and you can feel that they are not going anywhere whatever I have done they have never fallen out, battery life is not bad at all I think I’m getting about 3 hrs out of them using the LDAC setting on them that does use a bit more battery over other settings but we’ll worth the sacrifice of battery over sound quality definitely worth the compromise and to the noise cancellation you have 3 settings, I must say I only ever use transparency mode so that I can hear everything around me when out and about you also get HearID and normal mode but in all they do a good job on the noise isolation, once you do the HearID test which sets them up for your ears personally, they sound tremendous, they come with 4 sets of button taps that you set up to suit yourself I only use the single tap and double tap and hold for 2’s myself but you also have the choice of triple tap in the control settings you also get sound effects settings which provide you with HearID, default mode, 3D surround and custom mode so there’s plenty to mess about with to suit your sound taste and also there is a more settings tab in the Soundcore app which you must download to use the buds and I’m was quite impressed to see they’ve had 2 or 3 updates to the buds since I’ve had them it’s nice to see that they are not just sold and forgotten about but I do have faith in Soundcore to keep updating although to be honest I can’t see anywhere the buds need improving the app it’s self a quite a simple app but easy to navigate and use so 10/10 for the app, on to the buds if could I would give them 12/10 because I’m so impressed with them all in all a perfect sounding, great fitting pair of buds with good noise cancellation so if your in the market for new buds I would say go for these, I have changed the ear bud tips over to memory foam tips just because that’s my preferred choice for my ears not that there was anything wrong with the tips they came but for me it’s memory foam so my ears don’t build up pressure inside , the buds do come with pressure release so thats another plus for them with some thought gone in to that, so anyone who likes they’re music sounding good, loud and bang on Soundcore is the way to go.
Great sound and loads of settings to personalise the sound. Noise cancelling good but not amazing though I have nothing to compare to. Transparency mode is brilliant as you can activate it by one touch so can talk to someone with them in. Only thing is is that they tend to come out when you get a sweat on. If you train hard these can be off putting as they need adjusting from time to time. Real shame as I love the quality and sound and also look of the buds. For some reason you cannot get good sounding, loud over the ear hooks. Beats aren’t load enough and no sound cancelling. If you don’t do cardio or break a sweat the soundcores will be great. Also for travelling they will be fine. Buds for me always come out but I have friends that don’t have issues at all so could be my ear shape.
To big earphones, the rest of the caracteristics are perfec
Everything. App support is fantastic. Received a firmware update when first connected.
Firstly these ear buds are really, REALLY good. They have top-notch sound quality (especially using LDAC); good battery life considering the use of ANC (and fast charging); very effective ANC – perfect for travelling; they are very comfortable for long-term wear; possibly the best call quality of any buds on the market.
There are however three minor down-sides (for me):
1) the connection can drop occasionally but immediately re-connects – a very minor issue at most;
2) there is noticeable latency (particularly when watching TikTok or YouTube – seems most pronounced when in LDAC mode) – this latter issue is very distracting and makes them difficult to recommend if you do a lot of watching streamed video content; it doesn’t really bother me too much as I mainly use the buds for music and podcasts.
3) The buds don’t always go into the case properly, nor connect to it, then don’t charge. This may be partly due to the use of larger ear wings.
The sound in a little quieter than the Liberty 2 Pros, and is not quite so bass orientated as on the earlier model either.
Overall however a good upgrade over the Liberty 2 Pro, which had great (possibly better) sound but no ANC and their materials and fit made them more tiring to wear for long periods; well worth the upgrade if you travel lots and want/need ANC, and are not too video-centric in your use. They should also make a very credible (and cheap) alternative to the AirPods Pro or Galaxy buds (and the like) for a similar use-case.
For reference, I mostly use them with an Oppo (Android) phone so the above experience reflects that use.
Update: left bud battery seems to be failing – not taking charge / losing charge quickly – but helpful contact with CSR Justin has out me on track to get them returned for replacement – thanks Justin.
Best for sound other than spending 250, best for battery life and the ANC does its job.
With a fantastic app to support these headphones, you simply can’t go wrong.
The fit is excellent when you get the right wings and ear tips and the sound is great in the near mids and highs.
If you want a great sounding, great looking pair of ear buds that can connect to two things at once, these are the best on the market at their price point.
I have around 15 pairs of earbuds, these are the best, balanced, punchy, gorgeous sound, great fit, anc great, just great.
Bit fiddly when placing them in charging pod also be careful when having 2 devices connected to it as iOS seems still to be connected to it which then drains the battery out of the right side EarPod – Bass is excellent but these if you like your hip hop – EQ on App can satisfy your choice of hearing – ANC is not as good as Sonys but does the job very well but if you are at home it works very well. I would definitely recommend these – the box contains many replacement earbud tips and also wings which is excellent for getting the right fit. The app and getting to wear the earbuds properly is crucial to getting the best sound. Some people have written about these saying they don’t work correctly I would advise them to first set the earbuds up properly which one should do when buying any other earbuds. The build quality is good – if you need more advice then watch some YouTube reviews. There are some reviews which say the Bang and Olufson or B&W or Sonys or Sennhiesers are better and they are probably right However by how much is questionable also they cost a lot more. For Voice calls they are adequate but then I am not doing many calls anyway, I bought these purely for music. So in a nutshell if you want some cheap and bassy very EQ’uable snug fitable Earbuds then buy these!
Sounds great, but sometimes it cuts off ? maybe it’s just mine and I hope not yours.
I’ve had a lot of earbuds which claim to be the best, from Cambridge Audio Touch, 1+’s and Sony M3’s, even a pair of Technics EAH- AZ70W’s along with the Pro 2’s and some CCA 5 driver IEM’s. I can comfortably say that all things considered, these are the best. They are beaten in categories, for example the Sony’s have slightly better noise cancellation, Cambridge audio has massively better battery life, CCA’s are more dynamic, Technics have amazing comfort……however these come a very close second in every category, the sum of it’s parts make for the best whole if that makes sense ?
Set up was lengthy but worth it – I couldn’t get the correct seal on one ear according to the app, so ended up putting some comply adaptive foam tips on, which instantly fixed the problem and brought these to life.
After going through the HearID tests for both ears, then going through the lengthy ANC ear canal tests in quiet (hiding from the kids in the bathroom) and noisy environments (sat next to the hoover for 10 minutes) set up was complete. I had to take the edge off the treble in the app as it was a bit strong for my taste but the overall effect was excellent.
Bass is tight and deep, James Blakes Limit to my Love rumbles beautifully. Queens Bohemian Rhapsody shows off the range of the earbuds with subtle nuances coming out in the track. Detail is exceptional with Lewis Capaldi’s intakes of breath being audible in some tracks. Ray LaMontagne’s gruff baritone snakes its way through Barfly with electric guitar riffs surrounding you. Brothers in arms is epic with storms rumbling in the background easily heard Mids are strong and clear, Audible books coming through well.
LDAC does add another dimension but you lose some equalizer settings – hopefully this can be rectified in future firmware releases
Battery life is as stated. The case is nice and slim so slips in your pocket easily, charging is great and the little lights to show you have put the buds in correctly are a nice touch.
I can quite honestly say there is nothing better when it comes to an all round package for the money out there right now. I am selling all my other buds.
Just make sure you take the time to go through the set up, get the best fit and don’t be afraid to upgrade the eartips.
The Audio is one of the best on the market if not the best. The anc is the best I have used
My only bother which is very important for me is the lack of control when ever one ear bud is use ,there is no anc or ambient control for the use of only one ear bud.
Another draw back is the lack of being able to answer calls and end calls with a tap
It’s an awesome earbud. The price compared with functionality is outstanding , EQ is equally good to 250 earbuds. Noise cancellation is good. The fit is comfortable for long periods of use. A top contende
I saw all the reviews and felt these wireless buds looked great value.
Whilst I have not really tested the ANC as yet, so far I am blown away.
The extent to which the buds seek to tailor themselves to your ears makes a huge difference. Different wings and size of tips mean you get both a good fit and stability – all important here.
The software then gives a hearing test to further tailor the sound to you.
Finally not mentioned the sound quality and volume. Both really good.
Reviewers mentioned that they can sound bright – this I agree with. Fairly easy to dial back though.
Bass response is also really strong which is welcome too.
I would like to clarify that before these, I have never tried a pair of Soundcore earbuds in my life. I bought this pair purely out of curiosity and with the mind of returning in. The buds arrived 2 days later and my first thought was, the packaging overall was okay, nothing too fancy as expected from a pair of mid-tier earbuds but I would say it is above average.
The case, not blowing my mind either. A matte finish case, very plastic feeling in hand, just as you would expect with a mid-tier. Very light and the sliding mechanism is ok, nothing fancy here. Placing the buds can be a bit odd to begin with (or maybe just me because I have never experience putting my earbuds like this in a case before), but you will get used to it. Thumbs up for the wireless charging and fast charging at this price tho!
Now, the real stuff – the buds. I am not a fan of the bulky wingtips, so the first thing I did is swapping out the stock wingtips and replace them with the least noticeable ones (no, not putting on wingtips is not recommended as there will be edges to hurt you). First listening experience, they sounded OK-ish, not mind-booming, just like a fairly normal pair. Did the 1st HearID test (personalized tuning provided by Soundcore), and the buds turned out worse, mids are cracking even at 50% volume. I went through all the tuning, and nothing has changed, the buds sounded so bad. Long story short, I did a 2nd test and they finally sound WAY BETTER. Now, the soundstage is there, not as wide as B&W PI7 but man, for a pair of mid-tier, I did not expect this. I would say they are on-par or right behind the Senn’s MTW2. Bass is punchy, Mids are crystal clear. Totally outperforming as a pair of mid-range.
ANC is pretty good, cancelling more high-pitch noise than those high-ends like MW08 but of course no better than XM4s. Touch control tho, is a bit tricky, not the best and responsive like MTW2 but bearable. Battery life is totally acceptable. I got 4 to 5 hrs with ANC on with AAC (sorry I cannot provide stats on LDAC because I don’t have any of the devices but I heard is around 3.5hrs?)
All in all, I think you’re only paying for the sound quality (maybe LDAC too) and the sound quality only at this price, nothing else. No fancy looking, no fancy brand names, no premium case or any of those extras. For 119.99gbp (the price I paid), I would say they sound pretty DAMN GOOD.
Have had a day at work with these and I have enjoyed them thoroughly.
The way they fit your ears is new to me with the fin but its great, positioning them perfectly for a rich base high quality treble and comfortable listening experience.
The initial set up and sound test was easy and the app has so many pre set configurations/options with the sound core signature setting being great for me.
Its almost like rediscovering a love of music and just found myself thinking how great other tracks and albums would sound using these.
Very impressed very happy and totally recommended.
