Nostalgia
Hours of fun. Not too easy either. Some levels are epically hard and took a few sessions to complete. A little repetitive at times but a classic none the less

I have loved spyro since I can remember. I had this game on my xbox one a couple of years ago but then sold it and forgot about not being able to play this game. I got my switch a few years ago and seen spyro was on it! Haven’t regretted it one bit and the game arrived within a day of purchase. Thankyou!

Brings back the memories
As a child, I got to experience the original Spyro on the PS1 and loved it. This brought back some good memories of playing for hours especially with the trilogy.
I previously read reviews that this was a downloadable version but when we put the card in the switch, it was preloaded already so had no issues accessing all three games.
Arrived quickly
I played the first one on the PlayStation one. Games are downloaded to use card. Has the same lag on levels as ps1. Graffics are great and very enjoyable playing the other 2 games. Screen view not the best but definitely worth buying

Bought for my daughter but I have been playing it too Fun game as it always was, easy to get back into it, quite addictive, came fast and was a decent price for a physical copy of the game, came the next day all round happy

Got this for my nephew for Christmas and he loved It. For 22, really good price for game considering you get 3 games In one. Would recommend for 22. Definitely worth the money.
Loading takes ages.
I used to love the spyro games when i was young , the 1s one was one of my favourites on ps1. Now i can replay on the switch and they look great. The only bad things i found were there sloooow to load on switch and when crossing between worlds theres some frame rate issues.

This gam ewent out of stock on amazon so I ended up buying it threw curry’s the full digital copy is 15gb and the ‘physical’ release is 10gb so its not much of a difference which I’d sad but I love the game I’m 30% threw spyro the dragon and can’t wait till I play the other games
90's nostalgia to delight even veteran players!
Having never played the original Spyro games, I wanted to see what they were like and was so happy when they were getting a remastered edition. Made by the same company who produced the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy, this is a piece of 90’s nostalgia sure to delight even veteran players of the originals!
The only reason it’s not 5/5 is the fact that you do need to download most of the game, so make sure you have plenty of space on the system or SD Card!

This game is everything you remember from your childhood, and it will certainly give you the nostalgia hit we all crave from time to time. It’s been ported onto the switch very well, the controls are easy to master. My 5 year old loves the game and can play it autonomously. It arrived it typical amazon package, and on time.
3 games in one
brilliant my bro – loves these games from his old console – now he can play the same 2 games – plus a third – now all updated for a better console. He loves it – and its 3 games in one. No need to complete one before trying another – great value and nostalgia trip for him, Well loved game.
Me and my sister had Spyro 1 and 2 for the playstation growing up and played it a lot. Just had to get it when i saw it was coming for the switch. The graphics are amazing and i like the details added to the older dragons you rescue. The only drawback to it is that you have to have at least 10gb of memory for the downloads required. Otherwise i have had a lot of fun going back over the games and having to remember what to do for the levels

Never played original Spyro. Was debating over which platform (also have PS4) but went with switch for the portability. Played through several times and it is challenging enough. Love the graphics and the story lines. Good value for money too compared to other nintendo games and their content.

Yes you have to download stuff, doesn’t affect the game, and considering so many games nowadays make require downloads I don’t see why this is an issue? Though yes Amazon should have said downloads were required…
A lot of FUNostalgia!
The remastered edition of the original three games is a rewarding experience to play through, the redesigns and updates to the original trilogy compliment the world building.
The gameplay feels comfortable but challenging from the second game onwards.
People who are finding it easy should definitely aim to 100% the game just to add some difficulty.

Good game, but...
I ordered this and another game from Amazon and both the boxes were damaged. With video games being as expensive as they are, I was not happy about this. Luckily the games were fine. Spyro is a good game.

Amazing game, I like the fact that they’ve put all 3 into a trilogy rather than making them all separate games. Took me back to my childhood a little pricey but great game for all ages!
Classic game now portable
The remaster works really well in handheld mode and is still just as good to play all these years later.

Spyro is back and bette
Spyro hits the Nintendo switch. It evokes memories from Activision but the enhanced graphics look like an HD movie. Enjoyable game some easy parts and some tricky until you learn how to do them.
Will keep youngsters entertained for hours.

So happy this finally came of fly the switch. Spent way to long playing it on the ps1 but now have the chance to do it all again. It did look great on the ps1 but nothing like now. Its wonderful. The sounds are great too. Just need to learn how to glide hehe

Got the reignited trilogy for ps4 last year and loved the nostalgia it brought
While the switch version does feel different to the ps4 release, the nostalgia is still there but with a handheld kind of feel
I was a big fan of the trilogy back in the day and was super excited when it was announced for the Switch! The game has exceeded my expectations and runs beautifully on the switch with fluid animation, vibrant colours and with minimal loading. If you’re a fan of Mario or Yooka Laylee, this is a must.
The game does require downloads which are not just limited to Ripto’s rage and Year of the Dragon. Once you finish the first world in the original Spyro and head to the hot air balloon, it pops up that an additional download is required.
The case of the game says a minimum of 10GB download is necessary to play the game. Do yourself a favour and order an micro SD card before purchasing.
Watched my boyfriend play Spyro 3 but was put off playing myself because I couldn’t get on with the control system.
This has a completely new system of controls but let’s you make adjustments if you want it to feel more like the original game (for example the active camera), which works perfectly for me! I’m blasting my way through the first game and enjoying it throroughly!
Don’t mind the extra downloads as I got an SD card for pretty cheap which stores both games with room to spare. Would highly recommend!
