Well made, nicely designed unit but, unless you like cleaning frequently, best to use distilled water to avoid calcium and mineral deposits. Avoid heat setting – we found rapid growth of mold when used, but none without heat on.

I’ve been using this humidifier for about 2 weeks now and it’s working wonderfully. It’s quiet and easy to use. I’m also really loving the aromatherapy option, it’s a nice subtle aroma, not overpowering even when I run the humidifier most of the day.

Unit is very quiet. Easy to use. We run the unit in winter all the time. If you have hard water it needs cleaning avery month. Keep it clean & use cold water as instructed.

I have the same one for years and worked perfectly. Bought another one in white this year due to dry weather. Good quality as always.

We own 4 of these (2 Evas and 2 Cubes) that we have run 24/7 for 3 full years and have never had one stop working unexpectedly or experience any issues. I follow the filter direction as specified for the Eva (soak for 24 hours prior to use) and decalcify them semi-regularly (which is super easy!).

Elegant and easy to use. Super quiet. The remote control and buttons are not perfect but overall I’m very satisfied.

The static in my house during the winter months is AWFUL! My hair is constantly in my face, driving me nuts. I have several smaller humidifiers throughout my house but none seem strong enough to actually make a difference. THIS ONE MAKES A DIFFERENCE! It can run for two days before needing to be refilled and is very easy to fill. It’s super quiet and isn’t a big ugly machine in the middle of my family room. I LOVE IT!

I’ve used this humidifier daily since the day it arrived (about two months now). It seems to do a nice job of keeping the winter air in our home perfect. My child was recently sick and as long as he was home the the humidity controlled he had no cough, but the cough returned each time we left the house. Highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe’ve gone through a lot of different humidifiers. There’s a lot to like about this one.

CAPACITY: We run a humidifier in our master bedroom and sitting room during the cooler months. It’s a fairly large space to cover. The large capacity of this humidifier means we can fill it up every day or two (depending on the settings). That’s a nice advantage.

DESIGN: The design of this unit is probably the most aesthetically pleasing that I’ve seen yet. That’s still not saying much. But when you’re putting something this large in your living space, it’s nice to not have it look to much like … well … like a humidifier!

REMOTE: Having a remote for a unit like this isn’t terribly important to me. But this remote integrates a humidity level indicator. That’s a very nice feature – we used to have a humidity measuring device next to our bed and we can now do away with that.

NOISE: Every big humidifier we’ve had is noisy, and this one is no exception. For us, however, the noise isn’t really a downside. If we didn’t have this running in our room, then we would have a white noise maker. If you don’t mind a little noise it won’t be a problem. If you prefer silence, then you’re going to have trouble finding a unit that can humidify a large space.

AROMATHERAPY: We don’t use it. I suppose it’s a nice benefit if you do.

DURABILITY: It’s too early to say if this unit will last or not. Past units haven’t really had any durability issues. It’s more a matter of properly maintaining them. What we tend to do is to forget about them when the weather warms up, and when we go find them again the next winter, they’re covered with mold. That can be prevented if you clean them and dry them at the end of each season.

I gave it five stars for general looks, but function, who the hell knows. I need to sit down and study the stupid instructions to operate this thing. It is a humidifier right? Rinse out (if necessary) fill with water, and turn it on right? Nah. There is a part to soak 24 hours, there is pouring of a decalcifier into it (no idea what that would be), can’t use softened water, ie the salt softener type, so I will have to buy cases of distilled water. Country dwelling, country well = water softener unless you want mineral deposits EVERYWHERE. I have put shelves and bookcasss that aren’t as confusing as this. I was pretty excited to get this going but that isn’t happening yet. I don’t have time to sit and study instructions that could not be more confusing for a simple piece of equipment. I really want to make it work and I will eventually. But for Godsake, it is a humidifier, not the Hubble telescope. Why so much work?

This is a very easy to use humidifier with a essential oil additional element. This is a high end unit to replace the humidity needed when the heat is on drying out the air in a house. If the user wants that can add essential oils to the unit. I only like to diffuse a little essential oils so I haven’t really used this feature. The unit hold a good amount of water, it measure the humidity in the air and adapts it’s output. It is easy to fill and carry.

This humidifier is more than just misting the air, as it adapts to the amount of humidity needed in the air. What I LOVE is that the instructions for using and cleaning are very visible. Stadler Form made Eva very user friendly. The design also makes it look a lot nicer sitting in my house, than the normal round tub type.

I’ve been highly impressed with the unit, the design, form and function are superior to any humidifier I’ve had in the past.

I’m going to be honest: My husband ordered this by mistake…well, sort of. He thought it was a typical, smaller humidifier, and as our kids have been sick a lot this year (and our kids are old enough such that we’ve long since gotten rid of their old nursery humidifier), he thought this might help. We were a bit surprised when this arrived. It’s just much larger than we were anticipating.

Backstory: We live in Louisiana, where the humidity normally is about 600%. As a rule, we’re humid enough, thank you very much. But when little people get sick, or we actually drop to cold-enough temps to run our heat, a humidifier can come in handy. As a day-to-day device, this might be a little…intense… for us.

That being said, this IS a very nice humidifier. Given our environment, we’ve never had one fancy enough to need a remote (which is nice and compact and even comes with its own little stand) or that could switch to either warm or cool air. I understand some folks have had issues with water chemistry, particularly if they have hard water. That is not an issue here. We have high-quality groundwater that tends to be on the soft side. Ergo, I cannot comment on that sort of issue.

I do love aromatherapy and oil diffusers, and this is the granddaddy of all granddaddies of oil diffusers. It is VERY effective at that.

In short, this is a well-designed, quiet humidifier that rocks at aromatherapy. I’m not sure it will get daily use here in the swamps, but it will be handy during illnesses (especially with eucalyptus oils!!) and our rare winter evenings.

This is a great humidifier, and it puts out a lot of mist. However, it is an expensive humidifier to run. You need a filter, and a ionizer cube. It has a small form, and it can shoot the mist vertically very high. You can use it on the ground, or on the table. There is an option for the output you want, and whether you want some warm mist as well. It looks fantastic, and the build quality is top notch. Everything looks high end, and the look of it is not an eyesore.

HOWEVER, if you have a water softener installed, like I do, you CANNOT use this. It will not work properly with softened water. You can use tap water or naturally soft water. You also CANNOT use 100% distilled water. I bought 30 jugs of distilled water, and thought it would work. It kept giving me an empty water reading, and I thought it was defective unit until I read the FAQ online that the water sensor will read it as being empty if you are using pure distilled. You have to mix the distilled water with tap water, or another source of water. I have to buy both purified water, and distilled water to use in this machine. It costs me like $2 a night just to run this thing.

I do like that the water comes out with no smell, and it puts out a great deal of humidity. Its just so expensive for me to run, but if I had nice soft water, or useable tap water that wasn’t so hard, I wouldn’t have this problem.

If you have extremely hard water you will not want to get this machine. It’s a decent machine for the right home situation. I really like it, but I wish I could use it without having to spend so much on bottled water.

This is a beautiful beast of a humidifier. Holds a ton of water and the output is extremely strong. It’s sleek and contemporary looking and looks good in my minimalistic home. The only complaint I have is once it was “done” it left a pool of water in the bottom that turned rancid- from the essential oils i used with it. It’s a pain to clean that out.

I pulled Eva from the box and was immediately impressed by the general quality of construction. Then I started going through the paperwork and immediately realized there was a lot of hype at play. (The various models all have names, like Roger, Anna, Eva… etc.). Its a Swiss Company that makes air quality products… aroma diffusers, heaters, dehumidifiers, etc. From their website, it shows they make a whole array of various items designed to make you home more comfortable and cozy.

I decided to jump right in. I pulled the tank where the water goes and found a filter that serves as the lid to the water chamber. A quick read of the start up instructions and I discovered that the filter is the anticalc cartridge and I first needed to soak it before doing anything else. That anticalc cartridge removes calcium deposits before they can be expelled by the machine into the air with the most. So I put that in a tub of water and continued reading. It turns out, there’s also a water block that needs to soak. It contains charcoal to help purify the water. In the tub it went.

So, the next day, I go back and pull my soaking things, put them in place and fill the tank with water. Theres a ph test strip supplied to determine the hardness of your water and it would appear that determines how often to replace those filters. (In my case the anticalc cartridge gets replaced about every one to three months and the water block about once a year.)

So I plug it in and the long thin light running down the front turns a neon blue. I puts some batteries in the remote and set the whole thing up, per the instructions, on “auto” with a low cool mist and a desired humidity of 50% (I have some musical instruments in the house and I know that’s a humidity that’s good for them).

There’s actually a readout of the current humidity on the from of Eva, just below the light strip. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if it was working – with these settings, there’s virtually no sound emitted… and there didnt appear to be a steady blast of mist coming out. I placed the remote sensor (it doubles as a remote control) as recommended in the manual and just let it do its thing. At one point, I put my hand over the outlet to see if it was doing anything… it was… the mist was so faint, it was hardly noticeable. But what was noticeable, the readout on the front stayed between 50 and 53% for the next two days (I had set it at 50%). Then suddenly, the stripe on front turned red. It’s clearly working because that means it’s out of water!

It has a feature they call “adaptive humidity” – one of the reasons it’s so quiet. Because of the way I had set it up, theres no blast of mist, no sudden stop either. It’s a steady continuous, variable output that maintains the desired humidity in the room. Nice!

Theres alao a hidden tray for adding scents or oils… I haven’t tried that yet, but it appears to be pretty straightforward.

So apparently the hype is deserved. This is a top quality humidifier with lots of features to put it out in front of the many others available. Its functional and basically silent. I like it!

Setup: Install two included batteries into the remote and screw the remote into the stand. Perform the water softener test, if water is hard then place the filter inside a bucket of water for 24 hours. After that you remove the filter and place it back into the plastic container which holds the water. Before you insert it back in, fill the bucket with water to the fill line. One of the things I don’t like about this item is that you fill the bucket at the bottom and then have to put the filter and top on then turn it upside down to insert it into the system. And this thing is pretty heavy when filled with water. Some of the water spills into the bottom but the instructions say that’s okay.

Using the item: Once it is filled with water, you can press the power button on the remote and it’s already connected with the device. I chose the warm option and within a few minutes the humidifier began working. I was able to run it for about a day and a half before the water ran out.

The item is sturdy and has a nice contemporary look. It’s slim enough to fit into small spaces.

So after reading older reviews I didn’t have high hopes for this. That said, I’m only on my first day so I can only speak on things other than longevity so far. I can say the noise level is almost non existent. The flow of mist is really nice. I have it set on full mist and 75% right now. It’s about half a tank down from when I started it at around three this afternoon. So at 75% I’m going to say the tank will last about 12 hours on full blast. We are all really dry, so I won’t always run it on that. But just wanted to see how well it would preform, and so far I am super impressed! The filter is good for about a year per the website info. Cleaning is no more of a hassle than 99% of other humidifiers I’ve owned. (I watched a YouTube video and read the manual on how and when to clean). The device itself is very nice looking. Much more so than a whole house one I’ve had in the past. Granted this isn’t whole house, it’s for about 809 or so sf. So far I am really impressed with this machine. If this should change with use, I will update my review. Also, the remote control is awesome. Works perfectly even from across the room. So I’ll give it 5 stars

The Stadler Eva is an ultrasonic humidifier that creates mist by high frequency. So far, I’m really happy with it’s performance, how sleek it looks and how I can keep it on the floor. It’s almost silent, but I can hear the slightest hum and trickle of water when I get up and the house is empty. But I don’t even hear it at night. I can see the fine mist and feel the increased humidity, plus the unit shows it gradually increases to about 45 when I put it on “auto”. Nothing feels damp (not even the carpet), and I’ve had no leaking, no visible mold and no visible white dust from minerals. I like the interface with the sensor/remote.

I have chronic allergies and congestion and get really dry skin. I usually walk with a dry throat, dried blood in my nose (sorry if TMI), dry/irritated eyes, chapped lips and so on. My allergies haven’t magically disappeared, but I notice a big difference when I wake since using Eva at night as my throat, sinuses, lips and eyes don’t feel so dry and I don’t see blood when I blow my nose. I use a cool mist setting, but I’ve tested the warm mist feature and it works well. Eva can diffuse essential oils, but I don’t use it that way.

The type of water used is important as ultrasonic humidifiers can emit white dust into the air from minerals from hard water (not good to breathe). Eva has an “anticalc” cartridge that removes limestone from the water to minimize dust. Hard water has more limestone and requires more frequent changing of the anticalc (retail $15.99). A test strip is included to use at initial set up, and my water tests between hard and very hard (3 red squares and 1 green with red at the edges). The directions say not to use Eva if you get 4 red squares.

I sought clarification from CS and that’s not exactly the case. I was told Eva can still be used with hard tap water but it needs to be mix with distilled or purified water. That cuts down on minerals and frequency of changing the anticalc. So I’ve been mixing my tap with filtered refrigerator water (50/50), and the same should be done with very hard water (4 red squares). I asked if I could use all purified or distilled water, but was told not to as some level of minerals is needed for Eva’s sensor to work properly. The anticalc will need to be changed as needed, but hopefully less often than 1x a month when mixing my tap and filtered water.

A few things about set up. The sensor/remote comes with batteries, so insert them, screw on the bottom and set it on the little metal stand. The anticalc must soak 24 hours before use, I add my 50/50 water to the max fill line on the plastic tank and I screw the anticalc on where the hole is on the tank. When in use, some water will flow out into the bottom under the tank and that’s normal. The unwrapped cube is to inhibit mold/bacteria and lays on the bottom where the diagram shows (and change it once a year). Once a week, clean the tank and underneath with a water/vinegar solution.

I can’t yet speak to durability, but I’ll update should I have issues concerning malfunction, mold or excessive white dust (which I’ve seen none of so far). I can say I had an Oskar that ran for over 4 years of regular use, so I do have high expectations that Eva will last as long as cared for properly. Eva is expensive but she covers a large area, works well and looks so sleek and nice compared to the drugstore brand humidifiers that work well but look like an eye sore and gets everything so damp I never know where to put them. So I highly recommend Eva for dry climate from weather or running the heater in the winter. 5 stars.

I have problems with dry air during the winter months when the heat is going so I need to have a humidifier running especially while I am sleeping.

I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of this EVA humidifier. It is very well made and I seems to be very easy to clean. There is a water Cube (to keep it fresh) and a Anticalc Filter that both will need replacement over time. The Cube is recommended replacing once a year, and the Cartridge at least every 3 months of use. We would only use it during the winter months so that means approximately $55 a year for replacements. I do not think that is bad at all. The amount of steam that comes from it is impressive. The best thing of all is it is whisper quiet even on the highest settings. The water tank would hold about 1.7 Gallons of water. I have not yet tested but I would expect that we would be able to go at least 3 days without filling it.

So What I do not like about it. Only the color of the light. its a blue light that shines though and that will tell you what your water level is. I would prefer red in that blue light makes it difficult to sleep, and at night is the primary time I would be using the humidifier.

Other than that it is an awesome product. I am truly looking forward to using it this winter as we start to crank up the heat.

    Just what the doctor ordered!

This is so quiet I have no idea if it is running or not, especially when I turn the lights off. It really humidifies the air well. Not sure if the remote works. I tried to turn the machine off with the remote and it looked like the machine was off but it wasn’t. Maybe I was too far away or didn’t point it in the right direction. I’m not sure what the purpose of the cube is so I’m not using it. Also not sure what the filter like thing attached to the lid is for. Just be sure to soak it in water for 24 hours before using it.

A very pleasant looking humidifier (Eva). It’s got tons and tons of appeal. Even the remote draws the eyes to it because it has a most unique shape to it to. Upon inspection I found only quality materials were used throughout the humidifier because everything fits together perfectly with no gaps or Ill fitting parts. The remote too felt and is a quality part. The remote is a slightly smaller version of Eva. Not by accident I’m sure. The remote operating buttons are superbly satisfying to push. The main body also has all the features the remote has. There is a readout on the front that I set for the percentage of humidity I want. The instructions are easy to read and understand. There is a checklist of Pre-Operation items that must be done so as not to damage or lessen Eva’s effectiveness. I’m going to update after I’ve done all of them. Two of them are water hardness test and pre soak cartridge for twenty four hours. Then some minor preliminary details too. Aromatherapy can happen with EVA also. I’ll explain that in my update. Four Stars !!! Update (6 October 2019) couple more pictures.

Some good and not so good qualities…
It has a much bigger tank than you might think from just visualizing it.
I have owned many humidifiers throughout my lifetime, due to the dryness in the air, and my needing the moisture for health reasons.
It was a little hard to understand the directioi, but once I got it, it works great! All in all, it does what it’s supposed to do…keeps the room humid and clean.

I really like the design of this humidifier. It has some pretty cool custom controls and I like the fact that it has a sensing remote that you can place on the opposite side of the room so you can set the moisture level for the room and it will turn itself on or off automatically when the proper level of humidity is reached or falls below. I has humidity levels that start at 30 and increase in increments of 5. You can turn your room into a rain forest if you like with all the moisture this puts out!!! It also has 5 fan mist levels so if you want to get your room humidity up fast, that can be achieved at level 5.

Over all I really like this despite some negative reviews about how long they last. Most issues encountered seem to have occurred in 2017. Some things that you need to be aware of is the Calcification cartridge needs to be replaced and It lasts up to three months, depending on the water’s hardness and the cube needs to be replaced 1x per year.
Cleaning must be done 1x per month. It is a bit labor intensive as you need to be very careful not to overflow it with descaling liquid and get it into the electronics. Watch my product video and it is all explained.

If you find this review or the video helpful please let me know.

ONE OF THE BEST HUMIDIFIERS I HAVE OWNED

My family has gone through being sick and getting over it for the last month. (Thanks to school starting back up )
I’ve only had this for a week but I’ve been able to go to sleep and wake up not being stuffy.
When you first get it, I was disappointed that I had to wait 24 hours before I could actually use it, because you have to soak the cartridge in water for 24 hours.
After it’s good and soaked, you can fill up the water tank and close it up and turn it on!
I have it on auto which will do the humidity figuring it out itself.
You can set this up anywhere on the floor or on a table and move it wherever you go.
A full tank for lasts all day.
I haven’t had to do the monthly cleaning so I can’t speak on that yet.
I’ll update this review when I do and if anything worth noting happens.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe recently moved into a home with a 2-story entrance and dining room, and needed a humidifier that fills the space. As owners of the Stadler Form Oskar, we knew we wanted the same brand and ultimately went with the Eva. We saw the mist as soon as we turned it on, and love that it comes with a remote. Plus the design of the Stadler Form products is top notch – it doesn’t look like a traditional humidifier, which I love the most!

Passend daher fr viele Aufstellmglichkeiten in verschiedensten Rumen.

Da wirkt Eva schon ganz anders, sie macht mit ihrem schlanken, futuristischen Design wirklich was her.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersDie Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell.

Heizperiode, trockene Luft, empfindliche Schleimhute – Probleme vorprogrammiert.

Jedenfalls kommt immer sehr sauberer Dampf heraus, ohne jeglichen, erkennbaren Niederschlag.

—- Was man beachten sollte —-

—- Was besser htte sein knnen —-

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Users
Man muss allerdings kleine Abstriche machen – z.B.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is by far the best humidifier I have ever owned. Classic European styling, and clearly a quality built item. It’s very quite, and I love the easy to fill large 1.7 gallon reservoir. The instruction booklet is very detailed and easy to understand. It has several different settings that allow you to dial in how you want the humidifier to preform. Probably not something that most people would use very often, but it does allow you to set up the humidifier performance more to your individual preferences than just a factory one fits all standard. It also has a night button to dim or turn off the humidifier light. and a remote control . I love it!
