Works a dream and does not corrode.
This is our third light of this type that we have purchased . With living beside the sea they are great as they do not corrode . It is easy to Install and gives a lovely bright beam from dusk to dawn . Would definitely recommend .

Anfangs war ich unschlssig, ob 13,7 W fr unsere Terrasse ausreicht. Die Lampe ist sehr hell und lsst sich durch die Gelenke gut einrichten/positionieren.

Brilliant light, good quality product, easy to install and good motion detection, use it to light up driveway when reversing onto it. All the settings are controlled via an app that is basic and easy to use.
Tolle Sache
Bin damit absolut zufrieden. Der Bewegungssensor funktioniert, das Licht ist gut hell und das Anbauen war auch kein Problem. Habe ihn schon mehrere Jahre und er funktioniert noch immer. Wrde ich direkt wieder kaufen.

das ist ein guter Kauf. Ich gebe Euch eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Einziger Punktabzug, die Steinel wird mit Lsterklemme angeliefert. Ich bevorzuge da doch moderneres Equipment nmlich WAGO Klemmen.

J’en suis trs content et chose souligner : elle est fabriqu en Europe.

Nice and brigh
Overall very happy – the motion sensor could detect a little further out for my liking but will play with the settings a bit more and see what happens. I never know how to judge what the brightness of these lights will really be in the real world but this is a super bright white light which was exactly what I wanted as we had a fairly big area to cover. Previously used an old halogen spot light which worked amazingly but this new light is just as good and actually has a wider light coverage than the old school bulb. Very simple to install and is working fine so far (1 month in).

I bought one of these and had an electrician put it up on the front of my garage as part of a rewire in October 2017. I think he may have given it a knock when installing it, as some time later I noticed a crack on the side of the housing. A couple of years later the front fell off the lens in the wind, revealing the LED’s. I glued it back on. A year or so later it fell off again and I glued it back again.
Eventually, in December 2021 I was walking past the light and it came on as normal then after a few seconds blew with a flash and a loud crackle that my wife heard from inside the house. Obviously it tripped the circuit. I was not surprised to find that it was full of water, and was surprised it had lasted so long after the front cover had been glued back on.
I like the look of the light and the way it works so ordered another one to replace it right away. It only took me about 5 minutes to fit the new one as the backplate design it still the same and I used the old one that was already attached to the garage wall, so it is just a few wires to connect to the terminal block and one screw to attach the light to the back plate. The new one has a warmer light than the old one and looks brighter to both myself and my wife, although the wattage is the same.
The motion detection on these is great and you don’t get any “false alarms”, as they only come on when something like a person, cat etc comes into range.
Despite what some people have said, I have found that the lights can be moved by the wind. Not a problem for me as it is mounted quite low and I can just reach up and readjust the angle, but both the light itself and the PIR sensor on my old one moved several times in the wind over the 4 years I had it. There is a strong feeling click action on the adjustment for the light itself but strong wind DOES move it. The PIR moves around more easily. This might be a point worth considering if you are going to mount it high up.
It remains to be seen if the front falls off this one or that only happened to the old one due to some damage when the electrician installed it. I am hopeful that the product itself is good, hence why I bought a second one.

Ansonsten absolut gute Funktion des Bewegungsmelders, schne Ausleuchtung und eine sehr gute Verarbeitung (Leuchtmittel glimmt nicht nach – aus ist aus). 5v5 Sterne. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Der Strahler an sich macht einen guten Eindruck, ist recht handlich und wohl auch leicht zu montieren.
Ich habe ihn jedoch nach dem ffnen gleich returniert da er leider im Gegensatz zur Bedienungsanleitung (wie man auf einen der Bilder sieht) kein L’ hat. Also er kann somit keine externen Lampen per Stromkabel schalten. Leider ist dies in der Anleitung widersprchlich.
Daher werde ich diesen gegen den HOME 2 S tauschen der dies Fhigkeit sicher hat (Nachbar hat einen) und auf die Komfort Funktionen via BLE von SC verzichten.
Was mir hier jedoch gleich aufgefallen ist, ist das die Installation wohl recht einfach sein drfte, jedoch die Wasserdichtheit nicht wirklich ein Vorrangiges Ziel von Steinel war.

Stylish und gutes Lich
Rundum eine sehr gelungene Konstruktion bis auf die Kabeleinfhrung von der Unterseite. Das ist fummelig mit der Gummidichtung, aber man kriegt’s hin.
Die Flexibilitt in der EInstellung ist nicht zu bertreffen und das Licht ist wirklich sehr gut.
Vier Sterne, weil die erste Lampe defekt war und nicht ausgeschaltet hat. Die zweite funktioniert einwandfrei.
Daumen Hoch
Eine Super Auenlampe, einfache Montage und leuchtet wirklich Super aus.
Werde mir wahrscheinlich noch eine Kaufen…
Technisch und optisch hervorragender Strahle
Der Strahler lsst sich sehr einfach montieren, die Kabelanschlsse im Sockel sind vorkonfektioniert mit Steckanschluss, es ist auch ausreichend Platz. Nach Montage der Halteplatte kann die Lampe einfach eingehngt und mit einer Schraube gesichert werden. Perfekt!
Die Leuchtstrke ist genau richtig, um z.B. einen Hof gut auszuleuchten oder als “Sicherheitsstrahler” im Hinterhof oder Garten zu dienen. Im Vergleich zu fast allen anderen Auenstrahlern ist das Licht nicht kaltwei, sondern augenfreundlich und unaufdringlich.
Sehr gut und wichtig ist auch die Ausrichtbarkeit des Leuchtpanels, die mit riesigen Einstellwinkeln keine Wnsche offen lsst. Man kann z.B. den Sockel an der Wand unter einem Dachvorsprung montieren und das Panel waagerecht nach unten ausrichten.
Herkmmliche LED-Auenstrahler sind meist im Baustellenstrahler-Design und mit einem winzigen Leuchtfeld in der Mitte. Der Steinel Strahler sticht durch ein gleichmig leuchtendes Panel und das sehr ansprechende Design deutlich hervor.
Fr mich technisch und optisch mit Abstand der beste derzeit erhltliche Auenstrahler.
Tipp: Es gibt den Strahler mit integriertem Bewegungsmelder. Aufgrund eigener Erfahrung wrde ich von dieser Version abraten, der Bewegungsmelder ist leider weit von der Qualitt der Lampe entfernt. Besser nur den Strahler kaufen, dazu einen qualitativ hochwertigen Bewegungsmeler z.B. von Busch-Jger oder Merten (den man dann auch noch unabhngig von der Lampe an bester Position und/oder an optisch unaufflliger Stelle montieren kann.)

Funktioniert tadellos
Das Produkt funktioniert einwandfrei.Montage auch fr Laien geeignet.Da meine ltere LED Lampe an der Garage bei niedrigen Temperaturen nicht mehr einwandfrei funktionierte , kaufte ich mir diese LED Lampe von Steinel. Dadurch man zum einen das LED Paneel, sowie auch den Bewegungsmelder in geeignete Weise ausrichten kann, habe ich mich fr dieses Produkt entschieden und bin positiv berrascht.Komplett zufrieden.

Wir haben den Bluetooth Strahler bestellt. Der Strahler ist sehr schn und leicht zu installieren.

Austausch des defekten Projektors
Gekauft und verkauft von Amazon im September 2019, leuchtete der Beamer im Mai 2021 nicht mehr, die Herstellergarantie galt weiterhin. Ich habe Amazon um 23:00 Uhr eine E-Mail geschickt und am nchsten Tag um 6:14 Uhr eine Antwort erhalten, dass sie mir einen neuen Projektor geschickt haben, den ich 3 Tage spter erhalten habe. Ich habe das defekte mit allem Zubehr portofrei zurckgesendet.

Etwas frickelige Montage dank der drei Abstandshalter. Jedes mal fllt einer ab, aber dann hat es doch geklappt. Macht ordentlich helles Licht. Anleitung und Aufkleber fr Erfassungswinkelreduzierung ist auch bei….
Man kann die Leuchte und auch den Sensor im Winkel den Bedrfnissen vor Ort anpassen.

Habe die Lampe bei mir im Kellereingang verbaut, habe schon einige Leuchten von Steinel und war bisher immer recht zufrieden.
Zum Positiven:
-Anleitung ist Top
-die mitgelieferte Schrauben und Dbel kann man tatschlich verwenden
-die Lichtfarbe ist echt angenehm, eine Mischung aus Warm- und Kaltwei
-der Bewegungsmelder erkennt immer gleichmig, sprich sobald der Fu auf der ersten Treppenstufe ist – geht die Lampe an
– ich mag das “Klack”-gerusch sobald die Lampe angeht

-warum baut man so eine kleine Grundplatte zum befestigen??
-ich wollte die Lampe genau Mittig zwischen zwei Wnden anbringen. Dies gelang mir so nicht, da htte ich erst noch das Kabel umlegen mssen, sprich Beton weg stemmen, spachteln, streichen etc. also ein riesen Aufwand oder die Zuleitung wre sichtbar gewesen
– die kleine Grundplatte bedingt ebenfalls, dass man 1 cm neben dem Stromkabel zur Befestigung bohren muss, ich hab da immer etwas Bauchschmerzen, da ich nicht erkennen kann ob das Kabel von oben kommt oder irgendwo nochmal ein knick mach

Schönes Design, sehr gute Strahler!
Die Strahler lassen sich einfach einstellen und funktionieren einwandfrei.
Habe diese an der Garageneinfahrt montiert.
Mir ging es besonders um die Einstellung der Reichweite, sodass die Strahler nicht bei jedem vorbei fahrenden Auto anspringen und dies ist hier nicht der Fall!
Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
Lieferzeit wie immer schnell und zuverlssig durch Amazon.
Licht was willst du mehr!
Habe mir diesen Strahler fr die Ausleuchtung des Carports besorgt und bin rundum zufrieden. Er sieht elegant aus, hat eine angenehme Gre, ist einfach zu montieren und zu bedienen, funktioniert wie er soll, ist angenehm und ausreichend hell (also nicht grell) > klare Kaufempfehlung!
Einzig die Mglichkeit einer Aufputzmontage (ich habe ihn auf einem Holztrger montiert) habe ich nicht entdeckt.
Davon abgesehen aber klare Kaufempfehlung!

Leider nach 3,5 Jahren defekt. LED Gehuse lst sich und Feuchtigkeit dringt ein dadurch Totalschaden.
Steinel ist top Qualitä
Schnelle Lieferung, einfache Montage, wobei die Kabeldurchfhrung leider nicht genau mittig plaziert ist, da muss man ein wenig improvisieren wenn das Kabel schon verlegt ist. Toll ist der Stecker (man sieht ihn fast nicht, daher empfiehlt es sich auch fr alte Hasen die Montageanleitung zu lesen! ;-)). Der Bewegungsmelder (bei mir ist die Lampe am Giebel in ca. 5m Hhe montiert) ist perfekt zu justieren und funktioniert sehr zuverlssig (kein vorbei schleichen mglich). Das Licht ist wunderbar hell und gleichmig, ohne zu blenden, dazu noch ein sehr angenehmer Farbton. Eine Lampe 14W leicht vllig aus um eine Flche von 10m x 10m gut auszuleuchten.

…habe diese Aussenlampe mit Bewegungsmelder in ca. 6 Meter Hhe angebracht, das Anklemen war einfach, fr das Einstellen der Zeit und das Angehen der Lampe bei welcher Helligkeit, das kann ein paar min. dauern, ich bin jedenfalls sehr zufrieden und kann diese Lampe nur empfehle

Hab den Strahler zum Ausleuchten des Hofes verbaut.Bin gespannt, wie lange er hlt, hat schon rechts unten einen dunklen Schatten.

Looks good and generally works very well, but design could be improved if installed in a windy location. The plug-in connector makes installation a breeze compared to other lamps, good (independent) adjustment for the sensor and beam angles and a decent amount of light. But… the vertical tilt adjustment on the lamp relies on internal plastic notches on the hinge to keep it at the desired angle, with no way to clamp it in position. So in a decent wind it may get blown flat (lamp pointing vertically down) whereupon the lamp housing can fill up with rainwater, blowing the (non-serviceable) thin-wire fuse.
Happy overall after Steinel replaced the failed unit and the new one has a few design changes including a slightly stiffer hinge, but may still try to figure out a way to lock it in position.

Hohe Leuchtkraft der LED, wird im Betrieb nicht heiß
Schnelle, pnktliche Lieferung, gute Variabilitt in den Einstellungen. Leuchte ist Ersatz fr eine nach vielen Jahren defekten Strahler von STEINEL, leider vllig andere Kabelfhrung und Befestigungsmae, dafr ein Stern Abzug, ansonsten Kaufempfehlung.

Bon matériel
Okay il est en plastique mais il semble rsistant, le tout est correctement assembl, connexion rapide lors du montage.
Je recherchais une couleur chaude (3000K ici) ce qui est rare donc c’est parfait pour moi.
Eclairage trs bon facilement 20 mtres de profondeur suivant l’orientation que l’on choisi.
Le seul bmol pour moi est la couleur du boitier, mme en gris anthracite il est encore trop fonc.

Neues Handy nötig dafür!!!
Der Strahler ist top, aber nur wenn man ein ganz aktuelles Handy hat.
Mein Handy war mit einem reichlichen Jahr schon zu “alt” fr die App und der Strahler lies sich nicht einstellen.
Ein Freund musste das dann mit seinem neueren Handy bernehmen.
Jetzt luft sie spitze.

Once the wiring is done, the light fitting just plugs into the pre-installed wiring. Surprisingly bright for a 14 watt unit. Warm white colour temperature. Wiring includes an output to power other lights if required.

Le spot est facile mettre en place. Je suis un peu du par la porte du dtecteur qui, mme en champ libre, est nettement infrieur que ce qui est annonc.
Echt schick und macht ein schönes Lich
Die Einstellmglichkeit fr die Helligkeit, bei der die Beleuchtung angeht und die Zeitdauer, wie lange die Leucht leuchtet sind von unten gut erreichbar und machen was sie sollen.
Die Montage ist sehr einfach. Die Lampe wird mit einer Schraube vom Sockel entfernt und kann dann leicht nach oben abgenommen werden.
Was man nicht gleich erkennt, ist, dass die Lampe dann mit einem Stecker in der Klemme sitzt und somit problemlos ganz abgenommen werden kann, ohne die Drhte abzuschrauben.
Das Licht knnte einen tik heller sein, leuchtet aber den Trbereich gut aus. Bei einem groen Hof bentigt man halt eine zweite.

I installed 2 of these down the side alley of my house where they were replacing some old flood lights. I have them angled horizontally and they look really cool, kind of like street lights. The light itself is quite a cold, natural white. The CRI is excellent. They’re really good for lighting smaller areas.

Contemporary desig
I like the design of this spotlight in that the lamp head moves easily in several directions; the diffuser on the lamp stops you and your neighbours being blinded; there are no exposed metal parts on the lamp that could rust overtime in a UK winter.

I received my Steinel light yesterday and installed it today. Incredibly easy to put onto the the wall (I had cable already in place).
I was initially concerned because it looked like the wiring had to come from behind, through the wall, which wouldn’t suit my current light as this has cable pinned to the external wall. After a bit more looking I found that you can install this with wire which is already drilled thorough the wall or fix to end existing wall mounted cable. Brilliant.
I haven’t seen it at night yet but it looks excellent.

Hell und Sparsam
Ein toller Strahler. Die Helligkeit ist sehr gut. Der Bewegungssensor arbeitet sehr zuverlssig und genau. Ich habe mich bei allen meinen Auenleuchten fr Steinel entschieden und bereue es nicht.
Besonders wichtig ist mir, das der Kunststoff durch die Sonneneinstrahlung nicht ausbleicht. Genau das ist der Vorteil bei Steinel. Klare Kaufempfehlung Meinerseits.
Nice looking, well made and easy install
After seeming to be replacing my security light every couple of years I decided to pay more in the hope of a better quality one. Only time will tell, but first impressions are really good. The light feels very well made and was so easy to install and looks great on the wall – and most importantly gives a good amount of light. The angle of adjustment on both the sensor and the light are very impressive and miles better than any of the cheaper lights I have used in the past.
I have only given a 3 for the motion detection because this has been a bit of a struggle to set up in my circumstances. I have a long narrow drive and have found it difficult to get the angle of the sensor in the right location to be able to detect movement early enough. According to the spec sheet it has a long enough reach to cover my drive, but I have yet to find the position that works.
I have these security lights at the front of my house, they are the best, previously ordered from amazon no problem with delivery. I ordered some more for the back of my house, security lights arrived on time, but were very badly packed, two lights boxed in a huge cardboard box, no padding or stuffing around boxes, lights could be easily damaged… will have to wait and see when electrician comes to fit … very disappointed. I never write reviews but felt I had to complain because obviously the packer could not be bothered to pack the items properly, which could leave me with damaged or faulty items, more care and consideration needed please, never had this problem before.
