Step 1
Locate Anti-Crush screws.
Step 2
Push stabiliser bar downwards to clear the anti-crush screws. Until the stabiliser bar is fully in place.
Step 3
Fix the stand to the stabiliser bar using the given bolts & washers.

The ladders are excellent sturdy stable strong but the instructions are not very clear took me a while to get it righ
As described. I found it solid and i felt safe on it , would recommend 3.8m ladder.
These have been a great purchase. They are easy to set up and feel sturdy. The mechanism for stacking is splendid to use but still requires some caution initially. Folds small for easy storage.
Very sturdy product with stabiliser bar soft-close retraction mechanism. Just one thing to note, the self assembly of the stabiliser bar to the ladder was hindered by the misalignment of the holes – whilst this was easily sorted, more attention to detail in the manufacturing process needed.
This is a great set of ladders
They are soft close air compressed. They are made from aviation grade 1.5mm aluminium making them strong and durable and reasonably light.
They have a wide base for stabilising.
The ladder closed is 88cm wide and 96cm high when the stabiliser is attached.
It extends in 30cm increments you will need to put pressure on the bottom and extend upwards ,you can hear it click and lock into place when setting up.
As a safety feature it has 2 release buttons that need doing together to close each set of rungs down. The steps are deep and textured to give you more grip.
It holds a person upto 150kg
It needs minimal building of just attaching the base the screws are tapped onto bottom and bolts and washers also included .

The full extended version is long – I doubt I will use this – I should have ordered the shorter version.

Closing instructions are not very clear – but once you understand them it is okay.

I ordered these ladders so I can clear my guttering and clean upstairs windows.

Very strong and robust, I must admit I am more scared of heights than I realized but these ladders certainly help with this as they are made from thick aluminum with design heavily focus on user safety.

Having read reviews of similar items I was careful to follow the instructions provided. I’m not a lover of heights but found the ladder robust, stable and easy to both assemble and stow away. Very happy with this purchase.
StepIt 3.8m Soft Close Safe Retraction Telescopic Ladder
A retractable telescopic ladder is a good choice for homes with minimal storage space. Still, I somehow feel anxious with this one considering the locking mechanism of each rung – you can’t see the inside, and since there’s a chance you won’t hear the ‘click’, it will be hard to determine what the issue is. This is just my 2 cents as the item feels stable and could support my 6-footer husband.
No annoying rattling is associated with regular aluminum ladders because of the compressed air system. A good safety feature is the release buttons which only work when pressed simultaneously on each side.
If you are considering this type of ladder, it is recommended.
You have quite a few steps to extend, and they clicked as you extending them, but to check to ensure – as I had one that’s is not clicked properly, you will feel a sudden slip as it has compressed air for soft close.
Overall it’s a very sturdy product. Feel solid and easy to put up or lowered.
It’s about 12kg and 96 x 48cm, it is easily put into the understairs storage or shed.
Been using it as the access to the loft, it has been steady even with bags of stuffs with me.
Easily fit into the car boot, just about on mine, or perhaps the back seat.
Good price at under 100.

These ladders are very handy as when they are not in use they take up very little room, so much better than my old big ladders, the extend out very easily and the locking tabs both need to be pushed at the same time to collapse them so no chance of accidentally activating them, all in all, really great ladders.
Really good quality and delivery service it’s very strong and easy to use I would have given it 5 star’s if it wasn’t for the extended foot base didn’t fit properly the holes weren’t in line where the screws went through to hold the base on which was so annoying and took a while to sort out it’s a bit much when you can’t even line up hole’s on either side of a frame.
