Good value comfy mattress!
It’s really comfy, does not sag a lot but is a little on the firm side. Really like it though! Recommended.

Quality sleeping
From having about 5 hour sleeps, I’m now into 11 hr sleeping pattern on days off from work…. Its pretty amazing. Worth the purchase!

Got this mattress for my daughter for an early Christmas present and she loves it. It’s very comfortable and time will tell on how long it lasts, but so far it’s great and I would definitely recommend this mattress.

This is a great mattress at a really great price. I got this on Black Friday sale and paid around 180 actual bargain! It’s super comfy, a lovely height. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Arrived on time took my old mattress away which cost me only 10. Arrived rolled up in box. A slight smell from manufacturer but will go away . I’m quite heavy guy and laid on it and felt myself relaxed and comfortable. Would recommend it .

I suffer with back pain and joint pain haven’t been able to stay in bed for more than 3/4 hours at a time as too painful. Since having this mattress I sleep so much better in fact I never want to get up now.

I absolutely love this mattress and there’s honestly not one thing to complain about! It’s so comfy and I just don’t want to get out of bed in the morning!
I love how you sink into the foam layers but get the support not to sink in too far with the individually cased springs below the foam.
Needed aired out for 24 hours before use but this wasn’t an issue for me as we have a spare room which we left it in overnight. The chemical smell wasn’t that strong to begin with anyway to be honest.
At 169.99, I was very cautious and was prepared to be disappointed but I can honestly say now that I love the mattress and I feel it’s been one of the bargains of a lifetime!
I highly recommend this mattress to anybody who’s old mattress is worn and uncomfortable, I doubt you’d be disappointed. All round A++ for this mattress, well done Summerby!

Comes in a squashed roll - Great breathability - Incredibly comfortable 'hybrid'
So this mattress comes rolled up in a large box in a vacuum sealed bag. You need to be extremely careful opening it so not to damage the mattress and ideally have floor space to allow it to unroll and sit for 24 to 48 hours to allow it to regain its shape and structure. This is a hybrid style mattress as it uses pocket springs topped off with two different layers of foam. We have a very expensive Simba mattress in our bedroom and we love it so I was unsure how this mattress would fair. I’m very pleased to say that not only did I find it incredibly comfortable, I also thought the breathability of the mattress was excellent. Are using this in the guest bedroom and although I’ve only slept on it a couple of nights to be able to write this review I thought relative to cost the level of comfort was incredible.
This mattress is really good for the price you pay. We got this for our spare bedroom and had some of our relatives stay over and everyone commented how comfortable it is.
This mattress comes vacuum packed. rolled in a box as most do these days and it’s super easy to carry to pop on the bed – cut the plastic open with scissors! and wait for it to unfold. It takes few minutes for it to start puffing out but really if you want to make a real judgement I’d give it few hours if not overnight as we did, this way you will know it’s fully plumped up.
I think the layer of memory foam over springs is just perfect – I am not a fan personally of full memory foam mattresses but this gives you that firmness with soft touch – very comfortable to sleep on.
Mattress is finished to a nice high standard with all the stitching perfectly executed.
In fact everything is great but one little problem – sadly mother in law 100% approved of the comfort so I’m guessing we now will have her visit a lot more often than we’d like .
Decent mattress
It absorb movement well, even if you often change sleeping positions, your partner will not be disturbed.
It provides good support for the shoulders, hips and spine.
The mattress is very breathable, which improves the quality of sleep.
I had a Sealy before, much more expensive, but I would say Summerby offers the same level of comfort if not better. It is not as thick as a Sealy or any other luxury brand, so it is lighter and easier should you need to move it around.
The only drawback for me is that I would prefer it to be slightly harder, but this really is a subjective requirement. So if hardness is the top of your criteria, it may not be suitable for you.
Much better than our old spring-only mattress
I am so glad that this combination memory foam/sprung mattress was offered to me through Vine to review as I really didn’t like our old mattress, but having bought it relatively recently could not justify buying a new one. I made the mistake of buying a familiar style sprung mattress rather than a newer style one with memory foam. Won’t be making that mistake again.
The mattress arrives rolled and shrink-wrapped inside a box, and although once unsealed it regains most of its shape within minutes (seconds!), it really needs about half a day to have fully ‘reinflated’. I have a medical condition for which I am awaiting surgery that makes it very hard for me to find anything resembling a comfortable sleeping position. I haven’t had a decent night’s sleep in a couple of years — and I still haven’t, this is a mattress not instant surgery! — but this has made a big difference to my levels of comfort when lying down. I can lie on this and actually find myself feeling a bit relaxed, instead of everything aching and me wanting to cry. The foam top layer is a sort of medium firmness — it adapts to body pressure but still gives support. I’m really happy with this.
Summerby Sleep’ No5. Pocket Spring and Memory Foam
This mattress came rolled and vacuumed. It will suddenly expand once you tear off the plastic covering, so beware of having kids around you.
I have a full memory foam mattress and another spring mattress, so I am pretty confident that I can compare it with both.
I could not say that it can replace the comfort of my memory mattress. However, I could say that this is way much better than a spring mattress.
I find the mattress firm, but it has a body-conforming feature allowing support to the body uniformly no matter what position I sleep in. In addition, as it molds to the body, it alleviates body pain, especially my back. Another thing I like about this is its isolation motion transfer feature making it ideal for us as we co-sleep with our child.
It does not have a foul smell of plastic. Its coils allow airflow making it suitable these past few days that it gets warmer.
I have all good things to say about this mattress. Would probably buy the single for my son’s room.
The best of both worlds! Delivery took 3 days
The memory foam top of this mattress is just lovely to sleep on, it’s supportive but also helps keep my body temperature down which I do struggle with due to a health condition.
As a wheelchair user I suffer from back pain from sitting all day and whilst I enjoyed a previous full memory foam mattress in the past, my back didn’t! It was too soft, this is a happy middle ground for me personally. It’s a medium firmness imo so not too hard but the springs help give it support whilst the foam is super soft for a good nights sleep.
Build quality feels very good & it looks a lot more premium but it does come at a price, the only reason I’ve dropped a star as I do enjoy a bargain. I will say though compared to other leading mattress brands (Simba/Emma/Nectar, even Dreams) it’s still cheaper like for like.
From ordering dispatch & delivery took a total of 3 days, it was rolled and vac sealed, delivered in a large box so no damage. I’m looking forward to seeing how long it will last & will report any issues if they arise.
I love this mattress it is so comfortable it’s slightly softer than i thought it was going to be , you sink into it but the memory foam top layer fully supports your body whether you sleep on your back or side.
The lower spring section provides a nice bounce to the mattress too but it’s great that you won’t feel the springs at all due to the very soft and comfortable memory foam top layer , so you get the best of both worlds.
If I was going to nit-pick I’d say I’d like it slightly firmer , but I’m getting used to the softness , it’s very comfortable , the most comfortable mattress I’ve tried so far , I’ve had a great few nights sleep in it so far.
Our last mattress was thinner so it’s raised our bed a few inches higher, I’m now finding it a better height to get in and out of bed as it’s higher.
The mattress comes very well packaged in a large box and tightly wrapped in plastic , the mattress springs out to full size instantly when you take it out the bag , the memory foam will take a little time to settle and puff out to full thickness.
This is a very comfortable mattress , bouncy , soft and supportive at the same time , I’m really pleased with it, would definitely recommend.

A very comfortable mattress.
The mattress is on the soft side, it has plenty of give as you roll and move but I have never felt like I sunk into it, more just support as I move.
The mattress has replaced an old school memory foam mattress and I find it cooler to sleep on.
Size wise it is the standard measurement of a double bed, fitting my old school wooden frame fine.
It arrives vacuum packed and the initial process of returning to size looks quite quick but it needs around an hour before you will get the most comfortable sleep on it.

Arrived in a box smell of chemicals when first unrolled have to leave to settle for 24 hours smell disappeared after a couple of days and is soft to touch it is one sided but can be spun round it replaces a 12 years old memory mattress and you can tell how much they have moved on it is very comfortable and helps my back and other pain problems.

Before you can even lay on it, you’ll need to take it from the plastic and let it take shape. Should take a couple of hours for it to fill out. I have to say though that it is immensely comfortable. Really helps my back, even just laying on it for a few minutes. Nice and soft and not too spongy. Fantastic quality.

I was amazed they can roll these up without damaging them , it’s really comfortable , I’m 6ft 6in and 21st and it’s no problem at all , great mattress great price
