These things tend not to last long. In fact if I get a full summer out of one I am quite impressed. Maybe I should set my sights higher, but after owning about five of them from different manufacturers (or suppliers to be more accurate) I’ve found them to be flimsy. The fittings are usually decent, but the hose itself usually gives out after a few months of (light) use. This one seems reasonable so far…
Fantastic value
This hose replaced the old plastic one I had and it does exactly what it says on the box, is very easy to use, and great value for money. Great brass fittings with no leaks from either end, never a kink in it, and contracts very quickly when you finish and pops straight back into the bag. I couldn’t be more pleased with this product.

This is my second one as I donot thnk they are strong enough for a jet washer.
It is great for watering the garden but I think the pressure from the washer that created a hole in the hose

Really like this hose and is so long it reaches from the back door where the tap is to the front garden. Although family have told me they don’t weather well if left outside. So I’m keep mine indoors when not in use. It will fill half a normal carrier bag, so small enough to store away.

Easy to store and doubles in length when in use.
Be sure to drain it completely when finished as it shrinks back to half the length and stops the water in it becoming stale smelling.

Love this hose. Did plenty of research before buying and I am glad I did. It’s perfect for what I need. I use it for watering the garden and cleaning the car. It wraps up easily into a little bag that I hang in the garage. When I want it I just screw it onto to outside tap and I’m away. Stretches to 100 feet so no problem getting to the far reaches of the garden. It stretches when full of water and when I turn the tap off it shrinks back so I can just wrap and hang. Easy to use lightweight and good quality at a reasonable price.

I like this hose
Struggled for many years winding hoses in and out. So many like this out there, so took a chance on these. Had them a year before writing this review. Great quality so far. Expand in a minuet or so after attaching and washing the car so easy now. Brass fittings too, everything seems great. When you turn off hose contracts again in a minuet or so and you put away. I would buy again.

Bought this hose in march and loved it, used everyday for plants and has been a god send during lockdown for filling up the pool! Then last week when I was washing the car it sprung a leak and sprayed everywhere. I emailed the seller and asked if there was a way to repair it. The seller replied very quickly, apologised and have sent me a brand new one to replace it! Absolutely recommend this seller, excellent customer service. And excellent product for price. So much more easy to use than previous rigid hosepipe. Expands so that we can reach the whole garden. Not used very much yet, but very pleased with product so far.
Good, but it does get wet on the outside
I wanted a lightweight hose, reasonably priced, that would stretch to 100 feet but wouldn’t take up much room and it definitely fits that bill. It is also attractive looking and easy to use. It did start leaking, or perhaps more accurately “sweating” water in various places on the outside of the hose very early on, which is annoying but livable with, considering the other factors.

I didn’t think it would stretch to 100 feet when first came but omg it’s brilliant and nice not having to untangle and goes back nice and neatly – after seeing price of some of these hoses in shops brill price great quality
This product was fantastic…. for about five months. Yesterday, the hosepipe just broke in two, so it is now useless and not possible to repair it like you would a traditional hosepipe. However, it comes with a one year warranty and the seller has offered to replace it with a new item. So, bottom line, a good product that can be a bit fragile, but the seller is supportive.

Good reach and light to drag around the garden, it might benefit from a type of bracket you could fix to wall then wrap the hose round it , but that’s just me being pedantic, on the whole a decent piece of gardening kitz

was little unsure as heard bad things about these hoses but this real bargain cheap to buy quality to use and i use mine every day but do remember to release the pressure out hose before disconnecting or you gets soaked lol

Amazing Hose
Brought this hose a week ago and I am amazed how the hose can easily be packed and put away into a small bag, it expanded to cover the whole length of my garden. It is light to carry and I use it for my garden and wash my cars on the front driveway. No more tangling for me in comparison with the traditional hose and weight. The quality of the hose seems string and durable, I feels this is a hose for life and should last for a long time.
The hose comes with the brass fittings and which is a great bonus as they are not made from flimsy plastic which I used to get from garden centres.

Easy and fast tou
I am a fan of expanding hoses, why mess with reeling and unreeling hoses when you can connect turn on the tap and let the hose do the work. Storage when not in use is so simple no drum on wheels just gather in one hand and put on hanger. Out of use stuff in bag provided and store on shelf in shed for winter. Final plus you cam make amusing videos of the hose unwinding. This is my second expandable hose, first not from this manufacturer, and my only warning about this type of hose is avoid excessive dragging over sharp surfaces as this can lead to pinhole leaks. However my last hose lasted several years before needing replacing.

This is an amazing garden hose – bit strange on first use to see the hosepipe expand and feel the pressure once it’s full. It stretches out perfectly long enough for our quite large garden. I think with the cloth covering you’d have to be careful about it scraping across rough brickwork and stones. One thing to remember is that once you’ve finished watering – DO NOT PULL THE TAP FITTING OFF AS SOON AS YOU’VE TURNED OFF THE TAP !!! The way to remove it from the tap is to use the spray head as the hose itself continues to empty. Once the spray head empties it’s safe to take off the fitting at the tap end. I found out to my cost that when I tried to remove it before the water emptied out I got a very forceful blast of water spray straight at me – only made that mistake once !! Would highly recommend this hose – priced very reasonably and packed really well too.
Very useful garden hose
My dad recommended me to buy this garden hose. Easy to install and great quality. I’m so surprised that the expandable garden hose is really lightweight and is small. Good quality and strong. spray nozzle is good to use in the garden and car wash. Sometimes use it to fill the water pool for the kids.

I ordered this item on Friday afternoon and it was due to arrive on Tuesday. Instead it was with me by Saturday lunchtime! Fantastic delivery time. The hose does exactly what it says. So easy to use and store. Small metal clip near the nozzle means you can use it on a constant spray without having to hold onto the trigger. Really good if watering a large area or for a long time. Love all the different types of spray – great for different uses. Highly recommend this hose.
Simple to connect and use straight out of the box

Easy to use!
As my gardener is unable to get to me during lockdown, I needed to water my potted plants. Being a disabled pensioner I find a normal hose very difficult to use and move about. This hose is brilliant, it’s very light and easy to use with its attachment! Water drains once tap is turned off and the hose is easy to coil and put back into its bag! I would recommend this item !!
It’s very rare I write a review for products purchased on line, but I had to make an exception for this one. I’ve fought with the old, rigid hose pipes for years, some times putting off watering borders longer than I should, because I couldn’t face fighting with the hose pipe and the inevitable kinks in the pipe so the water stopped flowing and the leaking connections.
The brass fittings on this hose pipe stop all leaks and there is absolutely no chance of any kinks in the material as you walk around the garden dragging it with you. It’s also amazing how much it expands (100 ft) once it fills with water. So easy to use and would highly recommend.
Disappointed
I wrote a review after having this hose for a couple of days and I was happy…. 3 weeks later and I’m just at a loss …. supposed to come with a year warranty, but I can’t see anywhere where I can find contact details for the seller… which isn’t usually the case. The hose split after a few weeks and not just a little .. it literally ripped open and the water pressure was on low. I Would really like the seller to get in touch because it’s still under warranty.
Hose burst after using 16 times
This is a good hose, I have used it about 15 times now but it has just started to fray in places and i do look after my stuff, so i am not exspecting to last the year, as for ease of use, excellent, but i recommend hanging it to dry after use as this might prolong it’s life, John.
Review update, the hose burst last week and now it is unusable.
On the box it has a 1 year warranty, I will let you know how i get on, John.

Really good hose that expands when you need and just hangs in the bag behind our kitchen door when not in use. So much better than normal Hozelock hoses that you buy from B & Q etc.

Absolutely amazing, so much lighter than a regular hose, doesn’t kink, and really does expand up to the advertised length (I was quite doubtful of that when I purchased). The sprayer that comes with it is great too with lots of functions!

Not sure about the length
A really good hosepipe so far in that it really does not kink! However it is nowhere near 100 feet which is very disappointing. My garden is 65 ft then turns a corner so I need the 100 ft as advertised and it just doesn’t reach. I am becoming increasingly frustrated at this problem and am surprised that it doesn’t stretch to the length advertised.
I have purchased many hoses of this type over the year’s and all have let me down after a short time. I saw the reviews on this hose and was really impressed. So I decided to purchase one, I have had this hose for about 10 week’s and up to now it has been fantastic. You can tell how good the quality is compared to the others that I’ve had. I’ve tried a number of different brands of expandable hoses, one of which blew the nozzle straight off the hose on first use. So I approached this purchase with some trepidation. However, so far, this hose is excellent. It seems to be well made and has shown no signs of leaking. For its modest cost, I rate this very highly.
