First off – this unit is made in Japan NOT China. I previously had a Hohner unit that was one step up from a student instrument that I bought off ebay used for $60. At less than $100 – this unit blows it away with multiple mouthpieces and a quality carrying case to boot. The sound is VERY resonant and loud.and has nice polyphony on the upper notes when playing chords. Keys feel solid as does the spit valve. Impressive value I cant imagine the Yamaha sounds better for the price.

Merece 6 estrellas, no cinco. La mejor relacin calidad/precio que encontr en meldicas/melodions desde casi treinta aos.
I LOVE this!! The fact that you can pay in instalments is GREAT. Also, it sounds so clean and beautiful! And speaking of clean, it’s so easy to clean. Its instructions are clear and I love how you get multiple mouthpieces. And the extra notes really help! This is a lovely purchase and has quickly become become treasured instrument. Don’t get a cheap one – invest in this wonderful thing!

Uno strumento molto valido, intonato su tutta l’ estensione ,anche sulle note acute, si presta a vari generi musicali , perfetto quando si suona in ensemble , ho diverse melodiche, questa adatta per avere un buonissimo prodotto ad un prezzo non eccessivo. Ha un colore di suono che spazia dall’ armonica, alla fisarmonica, e a secondo del modo di modulare il soffiare , simula anche il sax soprano.
I’ve been playing a Yamaha 37 Pianica for a while – mainly Brazilian chorus and jazz tunes. The Suzuki 37M-C is a very different instrument. First thing I noticed was that it’s heavier. Second thing is the keyboard action is much smoother than the Yamaha – deeper key throw. Took a few days to get used to but its much faster on sixteenth note passages. Suzuki also created a wider space between black keys (Ab-Bb) – that makes it easier for me to play. The Suzuki seems more intone – chording seems smoother sounding. Tonally – its a toss up for me. The Yamaha has a reedier sound that’s very nice – but the Suzuki is more mellow when you blow softly (seems like all the even order harmonics are gone – like a synth square wave) – but it you get more aggressive the tone gets reedier.
My perception is that the Suzuki takes more wind than the Yamaha. I’m still working a bit on endurance.

OK, I feel horrible. When I originally received this melodica, I looked everywhere (so I thought) for the two included mouthpieces. Nowhere to be found (I thought). Made a fuss to Amazon, who promptly gave me a partial refund. In the meantime, I put in an order for the missing mouthpieces on another site, and was eventually able to enjoy this amazing instrument. Well, now months later, I’m packing my melodica back into its case and, uh… there are the two missing mouthpieces tucked into an internal pocket on one end of the case. Dang. I’m sorry, Amazon. Sorry, Suzuki. I do love this melodica, and everything was included in the case this whole time!

Diese Melodica hat einen strahlenden Klang und ist relativ leicht. Ich spiele auf diesem Instrument schon seit zwei Monaten und die Stimmung hat sich nicht verndert. Ich kann das nur weiter empfehlen, sowohl als ein gutes Einstieg-Instrument als auch fr die Profis!

Un vero strumento musicale
Lo strumento correttamente intonato su tutta l’estensione. Quello che pi mi colpisce, rispetto ad una vecchia melodica di fascia economica, la risposta dinamica delle ance, che permette di regolare l’intensit del suono e l’espressione. Il timbro chiaro senza essere nasale. Il foro di drenaggio a differenza, di altre marche, non posticcio, ma svolge la sua funzione. Ci essenziale perch in prolungate esercitazioni/ esecuzioni, la condensa, se non eliminabile, appesantisce le ance rendendole calanti. In conclusione: un vero strumento musicale, forse il migliore nella sua classe. Unico neo: la mancanza di un bocchino alternativo a quello montato sul boccaglio flessibile in dotazione, che pu risultare corto e scomodo senza una superficie di appoggio. ( in una recente occasione ho approfittato del piano a coda che mi accompagnava).

Mein Sohn hat sich dieses Instrument von seinem Jugendweihegeld geleistet und bt nun jeden Tag.
Der Klang ist okay und ich freue mich schon darauf, im Urlaub am Lagerfeuer ein Konzert zu bekommen. (Was mit seinem Keybord bisher ja nicht mglich war)

Le son est vraiment bon compar d’autres instruments d’entre de gamme. Chaud et pas criard dans les aigus.
L’ambitus du clavier (37 notes) et son toucher sont trs agrables, c’est un plaisir de jouer sur ce mlodica.
Le pack se compose du mlodica, de l’embout flexible rigide et de l’tuis aux couleurs ptantes qui vont bien ! (jaune et gris)
Juste dommage de ne pas avoir de mini embouchure dans le set.
Je recommande fond la marque Suzuki et en particulier ce modle.

This is an Excellent Suzuki melodeon. If Suzuki makes new models with more than 37 keys, at least 51 key acoustic melodeon only, I will purchase it without hesitance. To me, the 44 Hammond melodeon is not worth to buy.

astonishing! arrived today having been shippped on the 23rd September from heroGshop in Hiroshima! I’ve got some learning to do now.
Tried it out and even I got a substantial sound out of it. To my eye it’s beautifully made. What fantastic value. Got this one as it seemed to have few negative reviews and I’m so glad I did. Early days will see how the tuning holds up and settles down.
Arrived quickly from overseas. Very impressed with the quality – prefer the sound to my Yamaha melodica, and far superior to the “beginner” models available. Mine will be used in a professional musical setting and I have no doubt that it will hold up well.

A wonderful instrument. Well worth the time it takes to ship. Came well-tuned with three different mouthpieces and a nice soft-case. No complaints here.
I bought the Suzuki M-37C Melodica about a month ago. It came very neatly packed. This is definitely not a toy. The craftsmanship of this instrument is amazing. It sounds beautiful and all the keys worked right out of the box – no dummy keys like other melodicas might have. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This Melodica feels solid and plays well. I also have a Hohner 32 key Fire melodica which isn’t as high quality as the Suzuki. However, I find the larger keyboard on the Suzuki is unnecessary and adds weight. If you think your melodica will receive a lot of bumping and banging, this one is for you.
Ce mlodion rpond parfaitement a mes attentes. il est juste, tanche, ergonomique convenable (notes chromatique plus troites que mon prcdent appareil), le musicien amateur qui veut faire de la vraie musique avec un mlodica doit prendre celui l. Car les modles de la marque allemande bien connue sont nettement moins bon!Pour 50 euros de plus que les prcdents cits vous avez un instrument que vous utiliserai!!
