Used this carpet cleaner for the 1st time and all I can say is better than the VAX I’ve used well worth the money!! Easy to put together, one screw to hold the handle on. 1 fault I can find is you fill from the bottom but the MAX line is at the top so if filling from tap (easiest way) it’s more guess work. But don’t be put off. I’m well impressed.

Love this for a big rug I have in lounge looking a bit grubby till I washed it it looks
I’ve had my carpet for 5 years, potty trained toddlers, spilled drinks, muddy shoes etc, so I hired a rug doctor which left bleachy lines, and I’ve hated the carpet since. I had planned to have hard flooring laid instead, but was recently made redundant, so am using my savings that were previously earmarked for flooring.
I treated myself to a carpet cleaner for Christmas (tragic, but necessary ), and it came up lovely. It did take 2 goes, which is because the carpet was totally grim before. (See the picture of the dirty water in the tank, I was both disgusted and impressed at the state of it, I have a Shark Hoover that does a great job, so I didnt think it would’ve been that bad).
TIPS: Read the instructions, don’t overfill, go slowly over the carpet to make sure it sucks up the water properly, that way it won’t take long to dry (probably took a day to dry fully). You’ll see when the vacuum suction part isn’t picking up as much water, go over it again.
You’ll refill and empty the tank a few times for an average sized front room, but it’s worth it.
My carpet looks so much better, I’m really impressed with this carpet cleaner, and would definitely recommend.
Great value for money, easy to use, easy to store (make sure you leave the tanks on the side to dry out before reassembling the vacuum, to make sure you don’t get mildew in the system).
P.s, the pictures are in slightly different lighting, the before it at nighttime with the big light on, the after is daytime light, which used to show the bleach lines terribly, so the difference is HUGE!

Good budget machine
Really pleased to have found a budget carpet shampoo machine – it was easy to assemble and use although my carpet hasn’t been washed and the common use areas frankly filthy!! It did not do as well on a couple of heavily stained areas as I had hoped which I ended up hand scrubbing, but once the worst of the stains were removed, the machine did a good job. Loved the long cable which enabled me to plug it into the hallway socket outside the living room. The machine is relatively light, easy to push/pull back and forth over the carpet but does take a little practice as I found it to be slow going to get the water/shampoo on in one sweep back then pushing it forward to clean/dry on heavily stained areas. The light traffic areas were a breeze but the 250ml shampoo included was swifly used so I had to order more and wait for it to arrive before I could finish cleaning my carpet.
A couple of minor points for improvement, firstly, the clean water unit really needs to have a small handle integrated on the front as is difficult to hold and take/on/off the machine, especially if like me you have arthritus. Secondly, not sure if it is just my machine, but I do not need to use the ‘release’ pedal to lower the main body, it does not appear to ‘lock’ into place for it to be released – but will happily stand upright so haven’t bothered to return it for a replacement.
Overall I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a budget machine with a relatively small carpet area – mine covers 10ft by 12ft and with furniture around the sides only 3/4 of that is visible so ideal for me and a good budget option.

This product seemed great value for money and looks easy to use. However I haven’t used it yet so I am unable to rate its performance as a cleaner; however it is a good make and had good reviews so I am not expecting any disappointments.

It is lightweight and easy to use. Appeared to do the work but I had to wash carpet stains twice. The water was filthy both times which shocked me! I wonder if a different shampoo would work better? I had my eye on this for a while after seeing a TikTok video of it in use. I must say I wanted this cleaner mainly due to the upholstery nozzle it comes with. Having 2 children under 6, the sofas have taken a hit of a beating over the past 2 years and needed a freshen up. I gave it a test run today and I’m blown away by the instant results! My sofa looks almost as good as new!
The cleaner itself is so easy to set up, I didn’t even need the instructions. Good design and pretty straightforward. It is lightweight so no heavy lugging around like some carpet cleaners I have used in the past. It comes with a 250ml swan dirt master detergent (although I have brought a larger tub of another branded carpet and upholstery detergent for the bigger surface cleans in future) and it smells wonderful.

I bought this cleaner because we have several rugs on tiled floors and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a cleaner just for rugs.
Firstly cleaning rugs and carpets isn’t a quick job. You need to plan. Need a dry warm day preferably with a light breeze.
Cleaner is very lightweight and easy to assemble.
Filling the water tank is a bit fiddly as you have to turn it upside down and it does not stand upright on its own so needs to be supported while filling.
Cleaning effectiveness depends very much in your carpet or rug. On cleaning an old rug where the pile is uneven and compacted, it was much more difficult to remove excess water. On a newer rug it worked much better.
Method – you have to be patient and work systematically. Moving backwards and forwards over the same spot you can see how much water is being pulled back from the surface. Move on when you see very little water.
I found the shampoo solution very strong so I reduced the amount to 25ml to 1 litre of water. This was enough to clean 2 large rugs and a door mat.
It removed a lot of dirt and left the rug smelling clean. This is not a one off job, you jeed to repeat every few months although this is difficult in winter.
After care – Emptying the remaining water in tank was easy but drying it out is not. I left it on a windowsill without the stopper all afternoon to dry.
Emptying the dirty water is very simple. Again drying it out is not easy, I left it out to dry like the water tank. The two sponge filters trapped a lot of fluff and dirt so need to be removed and cleaned. There was a lot of silt around the seals of the water intake areas so needs to be cleaned.
The very front of the machie where the water is sucked up cannot be removed. This makes it very difficult to clean out the silt that gets trapped. What a shame they couldn’t design this to be removed with a simple clip to rinse it. I hand to lie the machine on each side while pouring a jug of water back through the opening to remove silt. Left to dry in the sun.
CONCLUSION
All in all it does the job but if I had a house with fitted carpets I would buy something much more robust.
Some very simple design changes could make after care much easier. If it hadn’t been for that I would have rated 5 stars.

Used this on a carpet in the kitchen people that say it leaves to much water behind thay are not using it right they are using to much water in one spot and going to fast it’s a good machine and very easy to clean it all unclips to clean and clips back together I can’t see any problem with this cleaner.

Bought to freshen up bedroom carpet from having cat accidents. Works great. Not as good as hired machines or more expensive washers, but for washing up accidents works good enough. Top tip: to add fabric softener to water on final rinse of carpet to add a lovely smell.

Arrived ready assembled. Instructions easy to follow – did an excellent job and cleaned carpets without making them too wet. Only problem i had was that it kept getting blocked as it picked up cat/ dog hairs .
I’m completely bamboozled by the negative reviews about this item & I’m glad I didn’t let them influence me!
1) it’s too heavy (it’s lighter than my vacuum)
2) it’s not suitable for stairs (it quite clearly does not state a stairs attachment so doesn’t really take a genius to figure that out. Besides, I live in a bungalow)
3) it’s too noisy (literally the same amount of noise my Shark vacuum dispels)
4) it releases too much water, the carpet is soaking for ages (dry within 2 1/2 hours max. And I used the whole tank full)
This is a brilliant machine for a freshen up – I don’t necessarily think it’d be great for heavy duty stuff, stains etc but to freshen up 3 year old carpets when you have 2 dogs & a partner who never takes his shoes off, I think it was a steal for 90!
I’d have paid at least 60 to rent something for a weekend. And then been under pressure to do it that weekend instead of drinking prosecco.
If you want a lightweight, as noisy as anything that has a motor is, value for money carpet & rug cleaner – this is the item for you.
If you want a feather-light, silent, water-free carpet cleaner…well I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe get a wipe clean floor.
For deep pile carpets
Is lightweight and easy to use. Probably great if got deep pile carpets. I don’t though, so brushes just skiimmed top of carpet. And left it very wet. Great on the rugs. Not sure how you’d clean car seats or stairs, as no accessories to do this

Best carpet shampooer I’ve ever had! No fiddly tiny little tubes to attach from the shampoo tank to the brushes like there have been on the Vax ones I’ve had before, just so simple and easy to use. Lightweight and does a brilliant job. Only criticism if I had one would be that the clean tank only takes one litre of water with the shampoo, which of course means you have to keep emptying and re filling it if doing a whole room, but for small areas like doorways etc… it’s just perfect! Delivered within 24 hours with Amazon Prime, I’m delighted!

This carpet cleaner is lightweight so easy for an older person to handle. I had an Aquavax previously but gave it to a charity shop as it was much too heavy.
I have had cream coloured carpets in all the main areas for almost 30 years. We bought the showhouse so had no choice.
The carpets have been cleaned in the past using the Aquavax and also on hands and knees using Vanish. When I saw this cleaner on a special offer I thought to myself it was time to let a machine do the hard work.
It came with a small bottle of cleaning liquid suitable for carpet washing machines. I have used it on hall and bedroom carpets. The bedroom carpet came up like new, but I think the hall carpet may require several more treatments to restore. It did remove some dirt as was evident by the colour of the used water.
Summing up: The machine is light, easy to use, gives reasonable results, the carpet took a few hours to dry, but is not an industrial cleaner! A few more treatments hopefully may do wonders for my old carpets and my old back!
I have 3 dogs and 5 kids in my house. My garden leads straight off my living room which means both the dogs and kids trail dirt into my carpet on a daily basis. I’ve been scrubbing my carpet by hand and it was taking days to dry. So I asked my husband for a carpet cleaner for Christmas. We were on a tight budget and looked at a few before settling on this one. When I read it was for light carpet cleaning I wasnt hopeful it could manage mine.

Pulled so much dust & dirt out of the carpet & rugs that I had thought were pretty clean (ew I was so wrong!). The carpet wasn’t left soggy, just a little damp & it didn’t take long for them to dry.
The carpet cleaning solution smells lush & isn’t too strong.
Haven’t tried the hand tool attachment yet, but it is simple enough to connect to the machine & if the main cleaner is anything to go by, my sofas & stairs will be super clean & fresh in no time!
Quite a solid machine. The instructions are very good. Just done one carpet, excellent.
You have to do several sweeps to draw up most of the water. The clear window on the cleaner head helps with this, you can see when all the water has been extracted. One criticism, the power cable enters at the bottom of the machine and gets in the way of cleaning. 2 hires of a rug doctor pays for this!
No tramlines
I’ve only used it once, so far, but it did an excellent job of cleaning my carpets. An older machine I used to have, left tramlines; this one doesn’t, which is brilliant.
