Bought to replace same model i previously had in black (it went a bit rusty inside after a few years use but I was very happy with it). I just find the dials so uncomplicated compared to digital ones where you’re supposed to memorise how many times to press a button to get the required feature!! Also love the retro style.

I bought this as i’ve seen it and loved it, the only problem is that if you don’t use lid to cover your liquid food, in the long run this will ruin the painting inside the cooking chamber by chipping it. Real pity i had to dump it.

Brought mainly for the look which is as expected and a nice retro design which suits our kitchen well. A little smaller than I expected but is to the measurements advertised so my fault for not checking that exactly before I bought it. Nice features that work well and does what a microwave should with numerous settings.

This microwave is just perfect for our kitchen , it is not too big , it is not too small and it looks really nice !
Only had it a day or so, but pretty pleased with my new purchase. A lovely bright+vibrant colour..
So far just cooked sum jackets in it+warmed up a few bits, but it’s pretty idiot proof+Seems powerful for the job in hand. And the fact also get a two year guarantee If register it online, giving an extra year, is even better..!:-] All In all am chuffed with my purchase.
Great looking little microwave
I wanted to purchase a simple cheap good looking microwave to replace a rather ageing microwave that I bought second hand 10 years ago. Additionally I wanted something that was attractive and would fit in well with my kitchen and I have to say this Swan retro oven ticks all the boxes. It’s very easy to use, does what I require which is very basic sort of cooking/defrosting/reheating. Would highly recommend this oven as a good looking value for money microwave.

I absolutely love the colour and the whole cute round edged retro design of this microwave. It fits in well with my brightly coloured mis-matched appliances. I was put off by the 1 star reviews which said it rusts but I have had this microwave for 6 months now and there’s no sign of rust at all. I use it a lot but I do wipe it down and leave the door open to vent after use to prevent condensation.
I have a small kitchen so needed a small microwave which this is – it fits a 25cm (10″) plate no problem but if using a 28cm (11″) plate, they will fit but you have to tilt it slightly to get through the narrower front (see photos).
There’s no 30 second quick press button but you don’t need one as you just turn the dial for the required length of time then press start – so easy to use. It does have lots of features but I haven’t needed to use them. I don’t find food cooks well if I use High (which is supposed to be for quick cooking) so I normally just use M. High (normal cooking) which works fine.

Having read the reviews on how the paint flakes away i am hoping that they have sorted the problem . This is a small microwave you can get a dinner plate in ok so that is fine with us
The microwave is very simple to use 2 knobs and two buttons ,it looks very smart and classic and works very well , it is a little noisy but no worse than others
All in all this is a smart item i just hope it lasts longer than the warranty period .

Lovely retro looking microwave. Liked it because it was a little bit different from the usual microwaves. Do be warned that the door is plastic not metal and easily scratches so you need to take care when cleaning. Only use none abrasive cleaning equipment. I wouldn’t let this put you off purchasing. Easy to use no fiddly digital panel just a couple of turns and start. Easy to clean as no grill. Only given 4 stars as the plastic door was a surprise to me but I still like it.

Love the microwave and I did want the full range ie orange kettle toaster, looked on amazon for them but none here, so went on Swan website and they are out of stock with no due back in stock date, which means I’ll have to find an other make of the Orange kettle and toaster, I am very unhappy with this as it will be hard to get a colour match.
Update I held of getting a different make of toaster and kettle and managed to order it from amazon some good months later so now very happy my toaster arrived 5 days early, still waiting on the kettle, the only downside at the moment is I can’t find anymore Swan orange kitchen equipment like the bin, bread bin, tea sugar and coffee containers again very disappointed with Swan, updated 5th November 2020 please stay clear of all Swan products I purchased the kettle, microwave and toaster, the toaster blew my electric 2 weeks in use managed to get a full refund, the kettle the lid is rusting away and it’s not even a year old, my microwave blew the electrics I purchased the microwave in 2019 and I only use it occasionally I’ve replaced the fuse and it’s no longer working, I’m very disappointed with swan, back in my childhood my mother only bought Swan and I honestly thought Swan was a name to be trusted, how wrong am I, they are rubbish, now I have to purchase a new kettle, microwave and toaster, I’m not happy that I now have to replace these in such a short time period, I have very little money and I struggle to purchase these swan items

Lovely colour. Only criticism is that when it finishes the cook it keeps beeping until you open the door – great so you don’t forget your dinner but annoying if you’ve sterlised baby bottles and gone to bed before the cycle has finished!
Really nice looking microwave and not too big in a small kitchen. Only gripe would be that my old microwave must of had the start and cancel button on opposites sides to this one. I often put the minutes on I want to cook the food for and press cancel instead of start. It’s easy to use and not to complicated though.

There is a mark on the inside of the glass that I’m unable to remove, but didn’t contact Amazon as I couldn’t be bothered to wrap it all back up to send it back.
I only use it to heat my porridge currently and it does the job perfectly.

We are pleased with the styling of this microwave. It is a simple microwave, but really like the method of time setting by just spinning the dial. Love the reminder beep that lets you know that you have left something in the microwave after heating. I find it especially useful when I have warmed up a drink as it is easy to forget about when you are busy.

The microwave itself is good and goes well with our kitchen as we have ordered the full range.
However, our packaging was damaged even though it had an amazon seal. I suspect the product was returned due to damage and I have been able to pull out using suction pads.

I love my pink microwave. One Year on it still works perfectly and rather than a microwave with a dark inside it’s white and easy to see the dirt . Looks fab in my grey kitchen with pink accessories . If you want a 1960s retro and bright look I would 100% recommend this microwave .. it’s also very practical and easy to use too

Great looking. Easy to use. Very happy with this microwave. I have gone for the light green colour as I like to be different! I like the tip in the instructions, to wipe out the condensation after use (or I sometimes leave door open for a short while to dry out), as apparently this lengthens the life of the microwave. I can see this makes sense as my previous m.waves have all gone rusty with paint flaking off inside after quite short time spans. I have never read this tip before in other leaflets. Very useful and grateful.

Fantastic microwave, great brand, really great look with a retro-modern twist. Cleans up easy, right blue LED for time/clock. Fairly simple to understand despite having several cooking options/methods. I recommend for the general use and great price.
Handle seems to pick up grease/marks a lot quicker than my previous microwave, but nothing a wet wipe or dishcloth won’t sort out!

Fits in perfectly with kitche
When we got a new kitchen I wanted a green microwave to match the new decor. My choice was limited so I ordered this one (though would have preferred 900w).
On opening the box I was pleased with the design, but thought it looked too small. Our previous microwave was an oven/grill too, so it was quite a bit larger, and I was worried it wouldn’t fit our needs (family of 4 with two hungry boys!)
I had it all packed up to send back, then thought at the last minute that I’d try it out. I’m glad I did because it’s actually just right. It fits a dinner plate and one of my large baking bowls (just) which is all I need really.
It looks really smart with the rest of my green appliances and is easy to use and clean.

Very stylish, clear display if not quite small text (my dad needed to put his readers on), and simple to clean. Lots of options on how to work it, and it can be a bit confusing without reading the manual for things like setting the clock.

It’s a good microwave that looks stylish. Just might be a watchout that if you slightly pull the door (but not fully open it) the microwave switches on by itself (included video).
Otherwise it’s quiet and will beep every so often if you haven’t opened the door after switching it on which is handy.
Microwave, heats food stuffs, and non metallic liquids.
Of all the Swan retro range this is my favourite. It heats food and liquids well, care must be taken on removal from the microwave as they become quite hot. Liquids and indeed most foods are best heated in a glass bowl or handled jug, to avert a swimming pool of molten liquid forming inside the unit. I don’t understand how this could be retro as I don’t think they had microwaves in the 1940’s-50’s? Did micro waves even exist before they were invented – discuss.

Delivery came a day earlier than requested, luckily we were in.
We haven’t used the microwave yet as our kitchen is being finished. I can say however, that it is a colour match to the description given and that it actually looks even nicer than online. Very smart looking and exactly what we want for our retro/scandi inspired kitchen.
**UPDATE** We’ve been using the microwave for some time now, and it’s absolutely brilliant! Very easy to use, still looks smart, and I’m so glad we bought it. Very highly recommended!

I have owned one previously and it worked perfectly but the digital display failed. No response when phoning Swan so purchased another one. Am fully expecting the same fault. Complicated dial setting so only leave it on the same one. Only bought it for the colour!

Beautiful microwave! I love it fits in well in my new kitchen and all the interior! So many functions to use on it as well and such a great price! I can now make the perfect pop corn thanks to its setting so no more burnt bits! Really quick delivery product easy to use smaller than most microwaves but looks grea
This microwave is amazing, what more can I say? It’s small and compact and even though it’s only 800 W, It packs a powerful punch it heats up soups, Stews, and other frozen foods with ease. There are multiple functions with only two dials on the microwave, one to set the function (including auto-cooking) which ranges from re-heating up a drink to defrosting your next meal, warming up bread (to make it as fresh as the day it was baked), rice to steaming veg You can even change the power settings which range from medium-low which is 40 percent medium-high which is 80 percent and 100 Percent being the highest setting which is obviously 800 W.
I have two concerns though, 1, when in use, the outside casing gets hot. I’m not too sure how this will effect the longevity as, other microwaves I have had (as far as I can recall) didn’t get hot to touch and 2, with it being compact, you can’t fit a normal sized dinner plate in and, when opening the door, the microwave moves as it is lighter than standard microwave ovens.

Real simple microwave that even I can operate with no fuss does the porridge lovely in a morning 1 minute 40 seconds and its spot on.her indoors uses it more and hasn’t raised any issues so it. Just be good as for the couloir what’s up with a bit of pink

Pretty blue microwave, and works fine but mine arrived with some rust on the door frame, I needed it urgently as was going into hospital and needed it in situ for when I came out so kept it.

Been using this microwave for a couple of months now, and so far so good.
If I had to find one fault with it, I would be really nit-picking, but when it’s finished, the beeps continue intermittently until you open the door. I use it to sterilise my baby’s bottles – however have quickly learnt not to do them just before bed, as once the cycle is finished, the microwave will continue to beep every few minutes, until you open the door! Slightly frustrating, but not the end of the world.

95% of the time you want max power for a given time with as little faffing about as possible. I leave the rotary power selector at 100%, turn the timing wheel to the time I need and press go – barring telepathy, I think that’s as efficient as you are going to get. Having said that, you are probably choosing it because of how it looks which is a taste thing and dependent on the colour of the other kit in your kitchen (I’m told that’s important?)

Bought as a replacement for my ageing microwave. Am very pleased with the performance, though I must confess I do only tend to reheat and not actually cook from scratch in it. Easy to operate, lovely looking and smaller than my previous one which is great. Plenty of room inside and a large glass turntable. Overall very good product and I would recommend

Simple yet stylish microwave. If you have an oven and don’t need grilling functions, and only use a microwave for heating up drinks, milk and the odd ready meal, then this appliance is ideal. Great retro look and easy to use.
After just a few weeks the volume of the bleeps decreased a lot and now I can barely hear, not a major issue but still annoying considering the quality seems to be high.
Do not buy this
I ordered this item for my holiday home and went to a lot of trouble to get it installed. I have now had complaints from 2 sets of guests that it does not work: It does not heat anything up. My cleaner has also tested it, found the same so I would like a full refund. If you want it returned I will also have to add 30 plus postage as the cleaner will charge for taking this to the post office.

Really nice microwave
Very stylish looking microwave. Simple to use and roomier than you would think, it certainly takes my full size dinner plates and the large size of pyrex bowl. So far I havn’t found anything that I have wanted to put in there that hasn’t fit! Works really well, it’s far better at defrosting than my old microwave. The only mildly irritating thing is that when it’s finished whatever it’s doing it will give three loud beeps but then repeat said loud beeps every three minutes until you go and open the door. It’s good in that you wont forget anything but I often put something in to defrost and then leave it whilst I go and do something else – the beeps then get quite annoying. You feel like your being ruled by your microwave!! A small point really but it could really annoy some!

I spent ages choosing this microwave as my last one lasted 11 years and it didn’t give me a day’s problem. I couldn’t find the same make and wanted a retro style, so I finally opted for this one. As soon as it was out of the box I was really happy with my choice. It’s a beautiful looking piece of equipment! Really compact and stylish. The cream colour is really rich and it looks fabulous in my kitchen. I made a big jacket potato today and it came out perfectly done and piping hot in 10 minutes. No hassle. Here’s hoping it lasts as well as the last one. As usual with Amazon it arrived quickly and well packed. No complaints!

A lighter red than we were wanting but works great and easy to clean. Defrost function can be a little confusing to use as its by weight not time but easy to use otherwise. Keeps beeping in intervals after its finished until you open it which can be a bit irritating if you dont need to immediately remove dish but at least you wont forget about it!
Well made but perhaps expensive
I bought is for my mother who needed something simple. It can seem to be complex as it does offer a number of options. However, put the top dial on full power (high) and turn the bottom knob ANTI Clockwise and it dials down to thhe required to the required time….Simples! The other option is set it to Speed cooking and pressing the lower button increases cooking time in 30 second blocks. It seems reasonably well made and carries a 2 yr warranty. I’m happy. 4 stars rather than 5 simply because it seems a little expensive.

It’s a good little microwave – I admit I bought it for the colour and style, so I’m not too bothered that it doesn’t heat up at the levels I was used to. Nicely, it doesn’t OVER heat which is helpful.

Beautiful. I like the shape retro design and the colour is amazing a perfect red for my kitchen not too dark not too bright. The screen is beautiful and easy to use as i can choose icons for different food. But I only used twice as it has just arrived so I cannot judge the quality. Till now perfect.

This microwave is very efficient and looks really good as well. The choice of colours meant I could have it in black as I have black worktops and cooker etc. Still getting used to it but extremely pleased so far, the price was really good too.
