How to Connect it to the TV?
1. Connect the power supply to the switch dock

3. Plug the HDMI hub into the NS Switch and open the NS Switch
4. Press the convert button to convert video from game console to TV (about 4 seconds)

Note:

A great little switch dock
I got this specifically because I wanted to plug it into the ethernet port of my router for streaming games online.
I noticed straight away what good quality the docking station is. It is well-made, the colours are vibrant, and the switch sits in position comfortably.
If, like me, you are finding that connectivity is an issue during gameplay, then I would highly recommend this switch dock with ethernet port.

Compact uni
I expected larger a much larger unit so when it arrived i was really impressed with the compactness,
As clearly stated in the product description the cables are not included, do make sure your tv has a hdmi connector as the oler tvs do not have this.

Great for travelling
I ordered the Nintendo Switch Dock with Ethernet Port, Portable TV Docking Station Replacement for Nintendo Switch with HDMI and USB 3.0 Port, Foldable Switch Dock Station for my children’s Nintendo switch. It works exactly how it is supposed to and because it is small in size, it has been great for us to take it away on holiday. It has good quality and very easy to use. Really pleased with this and I feel it is good value for money.
Easy to get started and works well
Looking at other reviews this seems to be a very hit and miss product.
I have to say that it has worked perfectly for us so far with our Switch and it has replaced the original dock we had that broke not long ago.
It was easy to set up and took no time at all. At 35.99 it’s cheaper than an official dock but it’s down to the individual I suppose as to whether they want to spend a bit more and know exactly what they are getting.
For me personally, this has been a great dock so far.

This Nintendo Switch dock from Knofarm is 2 in 1 where it supports screen projection and it can be used as a desktop game stand.
The dock has an Ethernet port that allows you to have a more stable network connection for a better gaming experience. It is smaller, more portable and lightweight than the original switch dock making it very easy to bring and store anywhere. It also has an HDMI adapter that supports HD games so you will be able to get the same image quality as the original dock, supporting a 4K HD display.
In addition, it has a foldable design that makes it very convenient to carry around. This one is also plug and play so you don’t have to worry about installing any software or applications for this to work.
Upon seeing it the first time, it literally looks like a toy because it is very small and it is made of plastic. The good thing is that it is not a toy because it works perfectly, plus it is very easy to install and set up. I like that it has air outlet holes on the side to keep in a normal or low temperatures during use or charging. Not to mention, I have read several reviews of this product and lots of them are telling that the device they’ve got didn’t work, but luckily mine works flawlessly.
All in all, this is a great alternative or spare for your original Nintendo Switch dock. I just hope that it will last long as the quality is a bit off.

An excellent docking station that matches the Swith superbly in colour and materials used it blends in really well with the console and looks premium quality in terms of structure and design.
You have hdmi port , USB x 2 and USB c ports plus the Ethernet Port which is excellent for undisturbed play no WiFi dropping or interrupted play if you connect up to an Ethernet cable.
The console charges whilst playing and I like that there are a lot of safety features built into this little docking station , overheating protection, overpower protection, recovery protection and short circuit protection, it gives you peace of mind that it is safe to use.
It’s lightweight, very small and compact so great for travelling, you can take this with you if staying in hotels, with family or caravans etc, it’s very portable.
It matches the Nintendo switch perfectly, it has good connection features, saftey features and is well built , a very good bit of kit.

This arrived in a compact retail box and is done out in the same red and blue colours as my daughter’s Switch. It is very compact and lightweight, with a black arm which swivels round 180-degrees to expose the connected port. The Switch simply docks onto it.
On the rear you have a USB-C power, HDMI, and Ethernet ports. On the left & right sides you USB-A ports. One thing you do need to be aware off when powering this, it does actually require the original Nintendo charging adapter, otherwise it will not work. This is a bit of a shame, as this dock would have been ideal for travel if you could just take a normal USB-C cable with you.
I connected this up to one of my 32″ WQHD monitors, more for convenience purposes for doing this review and it worked fine. I also plugged in an ethernet cable at the rear and was able to get online with zeros issues.
This is quite handy for us as my daughter can have a dock in her bedroom and then one downstairs if she want to play on a bigger screen or the projector.
I do not know how this compares to other third-party docks, as this is the first, I have tried.

It’s legit a well constructed purpose built bit of kit. It’s collapsible, compact and works very simply. Came with clear instructions. I’d recommend it to anyone, item exactly as described. It is surprisingly small, but equally it’s sturdy and well balanced and looks good too. Easier to pack and travel.

Very small dock, works very well
This is very small, much smaller than the original dock, but does the job perfectly okay.
Every connected okay, and the Switch sits on the dock perfectly, very neat.
Ideal for taking with you, its so small it will fit easily in side our games case.

I got this dock to test for two reasons, charging and also the gigabit ethernet port, I’m happy to report it’s a great dock and keeps our switch charged and also with the connection via ethernet everything online is better, downloading, latency in games, build quality is very good and it matches the switch perfectly, also very good value for money, highly recommended to all.

This little Nintendo Switch dock is absolutely fantastic!
I have the full Nintendo Switch TV set, which comes with a rather large black plastic dock – it’s imposing and not particularly pleasant to look at – it also doesn’t have an ethernet port so you have to purchase an ethernet to USB adapter if you want a wired connection (and trust me you will want a wired connection with the large size of some of the games you download wired makes the downloads so much quicker) the problem with the original dock is that the ethernet adapter doesn’t fit nicely in the back of the dock so the whole set up is messy!
This little dock is honestly a game changer! It’s very small and compact & the colours match my switch console so looks great! The dock has a HDMI port, an RJ45 Ethernet socket for a fully wired internet connection and a USB C port for the Nintendo power adapter.
After connecting the 3 cables and plugging in the switch console the switch screen turned off and the video/image appeared on my 32″ Samsung HDMI monitor. In a nut shell it just worked, and i had no issues connecting this dock up and getting it to work. I also tried it on my living room TV and again no issues. The dock has a little foldaway flip stand which you rest your switch on when you plug it into the dock.
The original dock as i said is much larger, but equally it does offer screen protection as the switch is placed inside a protected slot. This dock affords zero protection to the screen but i would much rather use this dock for the size than the original – which i have now placed in the cupboard!
So would i recommend this dock – Heck yes… i think it is great! It’s very compact size means we can now take the switch away on our holidays and use it on a hotel TV.
Top Tip: If you find the dock doesn’t work with your TV and it’s a newer style 4k TV, then check your setting and ensure HDMI deep colour is turned OFF for the HDMI port you have connected the dock too. The Switch does not support deep colour mode. I had this issue, but it’s a very quick fix.

Small but portable
This Dock needs an original Switch power supply to display on the monitor or TV. Tried the mode where you plug in a phone charger and it does have charging capability and will run the USB sockets, but you definitely need the Switch power supply to run this properly.
Quite a small unit and I worried that the Switch would be stable when docked given its footprint, but it appears secure enough especially with the controllers removed from the Switch, albeit the cables try to pull the unit about a bit. Colours matched the switch and it has 2 USB outlets on the side too. Connections were all positive and not sloppy.
If you take your Switch away with you, it certainly beats untangling the original Switch Dock from the TV. You need a spare HDMI cable, plus the original power supply, and this takes up far less room in the case. To be truly independent a spare power supply will set you back about 14 to 17 as I write this.

Bought a Nintendo switch. The Dock just doesn’t work and apparently it is so common with them. So disappointing as they are not cheap!!!! My son was gutted but there is no way I could get it repaired or buy another. I bought one of these and its great we can now use the switch on TV.

As good as OEM stand
Bought this as a replacement for the original switch stand as it stopped working. This works just as well and also very compact. The stand for the switch folds flat on to the base so takes up no room at all. also has a USB port the same as the original stand.

Does everything well! Just can’t watch YouTube when docked for some reason. But I didn’t get it to watch YouTube when docked, so all in all can’t knock it.

We are definitely a switch family and we were on the look out for a second dock so that it can be transported to other households when we have our games nights. This dock was perfect for that.
The dock itself is light and well build. Easy to install and apart from looking different, does exactly the same job as the original docking station.
Works well as just a stand or connects to the TV simply just by plugging the power and HDMI lead in as you would normally. The ports are easily accessible and has good neat connections.
Feels robust and well made. Not cheaply made and so far has survived the 5 year old…
Only slight negative it that when putting the console onto the dock, it takes a little more care than usual to hit the USB port on the bottom but that’s to be expected with it being made to be folded down and away.
Would recommend and really happy with the product. Saved me unplugging everything all the time!

I’ve always had the official dock attached to my main TV although at times wished it was a little more portable than it is, it’s a huge headaches removing all the leads to drag the dock to a different TV. With that in mind, I jumped at the chance to use this dock, I just hoped it would be as good as the original… I need not of worried, it’s a fantastic little box, sporting the red and blue colouring of the switch.
It doesn’t come with a power adapter and it’s crucuial you get one rated the same as the manufacturers issue if you want to ensure it keeps its charge. I simply attach all leads to the new dock and keep it with me when out and about, you simply need to attach the hdmi and power and your done.
Brilliant device and much cheaper than sourcing an official dock.

I would say to be careful with the little ones using as it’s not very sturdy so could break easily.

another good thing is that, it could be powered by any pd charger with 15v output (min 2.6a), so i could simply use my travel charging hub with it, without the need to bring the bulky nintendo power adapter!
tested it with my nintendo switch, this dock worked perfectly, no problem on hdmi display and charging the nintendo console while playing
however the usb 3.0 port seems a bit weak for charging pro controller (or even charging grip), better to use the charging hub directly when joycon is low power
all in all, i’m very satisfied with this product, would recommend

I got this for my son to use in my office/ mancave so when I’m playing on my console he could use on of my monitors to play in same room. It’s small enough for us to be able to take it on holiday.
The dock is super low-profile, i was surprised at how small it actually is, but it works in my favour with my PC Setup. The box comes with a manual and the dock itself, there is no power cable but it is only powered via USB Type-C so it’s not the end of the world as most of us have one anyway.
The back has a USB Type-C power input, a HDMI output and a USB port which works well with my sons wired controller
Over all I’m very happy as is my son at 26.99 (at time of review) its good value for money and highly recommended
Great stand
Well made and much sturdier than you’d expect! My son was really dubious when he saw the size but he uses this daily now. He has a home office/games room but our hub is in our living room next to our TV. He has Ethernet cables running through but he prefers to pop his switch next to the hub when downloading. He’s also gaming more in the living room now to take advantage of the 4K TV and he prefers this stand to using the inbuilt one. He has an official dock in his office but it makes him nervous as it’s easy to scratch the screen. There’s no danger of that with this stand, also it’s tiny and lightweight for carrying in his switch bag when travelling or visiting friends.
Points he raised:
It does wobble slightly when touched, this might me an issue with younger children. However, official docks are expensive and there’s the risk of screen damage if you’re not careful.
He’s using it on a 4K TV with it’s premium HDMI cables so he’s not experiencing any issues with picture or sound quality. He checked it on his own set up and it’s slightly inferior than the official dock, but nothing noticeable if you wasn’t looking for it.
For my son this is a five star product as he’s fully aware of its limitations and his Switch is positioned safely on a secure surface. He rates it 4 because the product design has a flaw that could be ironed out to give a more secure fit.
Fab alternative switch dock
This is a bit of a find! It’s exactly the same functionality as the switch docking station but teeny tiny. It has a bit of flips out, which I did find a bit tricky to get flipped out initially, and that is to hold your switch in place. It feels like it might be a little flimsy but it works fine. You just plug the same connections from your switch dock into this little dock and off again.
I like that they’ve use the official Nintendo colours and the quality and build feels good. Mainly this would be perfect for travelling as you can fit into a switch case. The docking station is too bulky to do that but this alternative is perfect. We tried it with a projector and it works as the original docking station would.

This is a great little docking station that is compact and useful. Even if you still have the original dock, this docking station is still great as an additional accessory for travelling or use in another room. You just need an additional HDMI cable and a USB charging cable.

Great mini dock
I was quite surprised how small this dock is, absolutely perfect for travelling. Small, neat, well made and does the job without any hassle. Gave this to my son, his original dock got ‘broken’ and taped together, still works but looks a mess. This a lot smaller and although at first thought it seemed a bit less sturdy its actually fine, it was more the way my son was using it that made it feel a bit too small at first, he was just a bit heavy handed. Looks good, connects perfectly and great for travelling.

Small size makes if perfect for flying, almost no space taken up in carry on bag
We got this for our son to take when he flies on his own to visit his aunt. Carry on bag space is so limited, and this is just slightly larger then a deck of cards. We have used it for a few days before he leaves to make sure it works, and while it’s not as sturdy as the official dock, it works great and is a fraction of the size. If you travel a lot, this is a good dock for you.
Really small unit but works
My son wanted this to play his switch on his computer and he’s really happy. It’s a very small unit and much smaller than he was expecting but it does the job so has no complaints. The build and plastic quality seems good too.

Quality little dock for the Nintendo Switch. Such a good idea and it’s so compact, that it’s perfect for taking in your suitcase when travelling abroad. Easy to plug in and set up, and the Switch sits nicely on it with no issues. Very happy with it.
Diddy, convenient, fully-functional dock
This dock works fully as expected, with no problems. The three inputs on the back- power (USB-C), a USB 3 connection and an HDMI connection, work first time and popping your switch onto a TV, without bringing the heftier Nintendo original dock, is a doddle. To be honest I was expecting there to be some niggles, but it works straight away, and the Switch behaves actually as on the regular dock.
Hardware-wise, it is a small device and just faintly flimsy. Dropping the Switch onto the USB-C connector takes more care and precision than on the official dock. Once docked, the fact the dock is so lightweight and so much narrower than the Switch means that it is naturally quite wobbly, to the extent that I wouldn’t recommend it for wobbly situations like car journeys, but for use on a proper table, especially in TV Mode, it’s perfectly adequate.
The colour scheme is a half-decent imitation of the Animal Crossing colour scheme (unfortunately we don’t have the matching joy-cons) and compared to other non-Nintendo products for the Switch, this one does do a good job of looking consistent with the proper branding- same shade of black in the plastic, etc.
The immediate plug-and-play nature of this dock, and the tiny size and convenience of it, mean it’s definitely 5 stars from me.

Brilliant little item.
This is a super, versatile little device that allows you to cast to your TV (via HDMI), with various other configurable options, via USB 3.0 and C, as well as HDMI. A great stand, charge dock etc; all in a very small compact unit, that cleverly has a retractable connecting dock port and stand.
This works really well, is well-made, with absolutely nothing I can criticise about. Perfect for my Grandson’s Switch!

Does the job but expensive
I was blown away by how tiny this was when it arrived – it does the job and is very compact, so in terms of console clutter, it’s very neat. It would be perfect for travel or taking your switch to someone else’s house for gaming. It’s been very well designed and looks like it should be an official Nintendo product, I love how good it looks with the switch. My only gripe is how expensive it is at 25.99 for such a tiny piece of plastic. It’s also worth mentioning, the product doesn’t include any cables, so you have to have an existing cable to power the Switch itself – if you’re using it for travel, you would be using it on the battery unless you had a way of charging it, eg a Switch charger. Without power, you’re using the battery and it’s effectively a stand. It’s ideal for travel, but ensure you take your charger with it.
Compact and portable
This Nintendo switch dock is perfect to take on the go. The back rest is simple to unfold and collapse. The dock itself is small and lightweight and easily fits inside my carry case.
Hooking everything up was straightforward and compared to the original dock, this one in comparison, takes up minimal space. My sons’ play for several hours throughout the day and it hasn’t overheated so the ventilation works well enough.
This dock will be perfect for when I’m travelling with my kids. It’s compact, easy to use and conveniently fits into the storage case with my Nintendo Switch.
A tiny little dock that packs a big punch
Whilst this might not be as sturdy as the original Switch dock, this is a perfect mini dock for travelling or to use in a different room in the house.
This is really tiny. I was so surprised when it arrived and saw the size. Despite this, it still works well and is easy to setup and use. We tested it in place of the existing dock, but intend to use it on my son’s upstairs monitor.
This is fantastic to use to take on holiday with you. We often take the Switch, but my son has to pack all the original dock, etc, which can take up a lot of room. This dock, quite literally, fits in your pocket.
Overall, this is such a good device and will get plenty of use in the future.
Makes life easie
This arrived in perfect condition in a branded box.
My grandson has a Nintendo Switch and this device means that it can be attached constantly to the TV rather than having disconnect and connect whenever he wants to play on it. This device is tiny and doesn’t take up any space and because its constantly connected it helps to keep the wires tidy and hidden.
Some of the best ideas are simple and don’t need to be huge things always on display, this is one of those good ideas.
I can’t imagine any issues arising with this product but should any arise I will amend this review accordingly.

Great piece of kit, worked perfect, so much smaller and lightweight than the original. Has 3 handy ports, is portable and accessible for when out and about. The docking station has ventilation slots on the sides to help prevent over heating, an anti slip design and folds down small to easily fit into your pocket or switch case.
The console sits neatly on the top of the TV unit and is easy to connect to the TV, you simply connect the power adapter and HDMI cable as you would with the original dock.
If you travel frequently with your switch and like to always have the option of playing on a TV, this dock is ideal! and good value for money.

Picture and sound quality appear fine with no loss. The device itself is TINY (see photo) and fits in a picket easily, it has a hinged design for easy storage and to protect the docking port. The colour scheme matches the traditional switch however it doesn’t look out of place next to my all black variant.
The device appears to be made of high quality plastic without any visible mould lines or poor casting which adds to the overall aesthetic.
