This machine is a game changer.

I can just chuck in all my chopped veggies and leave it to do its thing. No more washing the big soup pot, no more running back and forth to check it hasn’t started to stick to the inside of the pan.

    Easy to use.
    Easy to clean.
    Amazing.

Pity it does not have a lip for easy pouring. It cleans bottom half of container but you have to deal with top half. Compared with other makes I gave tried excellent.

I have only had it long enough to use it twice and on both occasions it has performed well. Much more expensive than my Morphy Richards one which developed an electrical fault but had bee4n so good until then. However, Tefal is a superior article and I like it.

Pretty decent design and very easy to use.

This is our first soup maker and found it really easy to use and experiment with on mixes, flavours, etc.

Smoothie maker works really well on top, so, would recommend to anyone as a safe first buy.

Excellent soup maker and easy to use. The included recipe booklet is limited but it’s simply utilise common sense to replace or add spare vegetables to any soup. However the volume of fluid must be consistent.

Silly question above regarding “flavour”, that is dependent on your ingredients, stock quality and seasoning.

Very easy to use. Few good recipes supplied to get you started then you get the hang of it. Have made lots of tasty soups now quickly and easily with minimal mess.

This is great for chucking in some chopped up ingredients and leaving it alone to do it’s magic.
Obviously you need to put the correct ingredients into it to get good tasting soup but get that part right and the rest is taken care of.
I’m not a fan of the self cleaning function as it never cleans it properly and always find myself having to do it manually but that aside this is a great little kitchen gadget to have in your collection.

This is my second of this soup maker. My first one lasted about four years which is not great but I tried another make and found it nowhere as good as this one so I thought I’d give the Tefal another go.
Blending is very good, food is cooked (though I do often microwave root veg to soften first). Easy to use & good to excellent results provided you use common sense. It makes three good helpings so not a massive capacity but the only major drawback is that it is fiddly to clean. The self clean option on the machine itself does get the worst off but you still have to wash it by hand as well. The difficulty is achieving a thorough clean whilst avoiding getting water on the electrical connections. All in all I find the results outweigh this disadvantage.

This is easy to use to make soup. There is a cleaning cycle but it doesn’t really do a thorough job so clean it manually and use the cleaning cycle for final rinse.

Not sure why Amazon are asking about flavour – you do need to provide that yourself. Apart from that it’s very easy to use, and very quick. One tip – add a little oil before anything else – stops things burning on the bottom. I hardly use the clean function – just rinse and wipe as soon as you’ve emptied i

This soup maker has changed our diet for the better, just 10 mins of prep and leave the soup in the maker to cook and stay warm. At lunchtime there’s hot soup and all I do is put water in the maker, switch it on to clean mode! Once done I dry it and put it away! Super gadget. Best one I have found.

Bought this to make fresh soup for my Mum who has Alzheimer’s and needs blended food. It’s so fast and easy and means she can have a variety of nutritious meals quickly. Fresh “Designer” soups are quite pricey at the supermarket and she likes quite traditional flavours so the choice is limited. This has really expanded her choices and the bonus is we can enjoy our favourites too!

Great Kitchen Gadget that makes soup very easily also to good standard, also cleans itself as an added feature plus it keeps the soup warm water cooking has finished, only slight problem is that sometimes food catches on bottom and has to be cleaned manually.

Simple to use though I have had some mixed results. Book that came with it looks good on the outside an lovely pictures inside but of 130 pages only 15 are in English. The recipes are in small print on yellow or orange blocks which I find difficult to read. This is my first soup machine and I have had to get information on line as the operating features on another very small booklet with even smaller print.

Chopping your vegetables or meat into small pieces really gives excellent results. So far I have only made potage bon femme but it was first class. I now look forward to using this time-saving device; no more standing over ‘sweating’ vegetables. This machine allows me to get on with other tasks, or even to relax whilst it does its job. I will be trying the dessert recipes too; who doesn’t want to save time there?

This is the first soup maker I have bought and not had it for long so only used it three times, very pleased with the results but not sure why this item is considered somewhere at the top of soup maker brands, as I used one from Aldi and the result seemed to be the same but at roughly half the cost! However if you can afford it then I would recommend getting it.

Possibly one of the best things I’ve bought. Generally use the smooth soup option but I have also done apples for a crumble using the compote setting. The easy clean option doesn’t really do much but its easy enough to wash out anyway with a brush and washing up liquid

Easy and quick to use. Making enough for 3/4 helpings with useful programs and comes with a basic recipe book. Once cooked the soup goes to a keep warm setting that keeps it hot enough for serving.

This is definitely not going to be a gadget that gets used once and retired to a cupboard. It’s incredible very easy to use and the soup was fantastic , I was very surprised. No burnt on food like some of the other reviews mention I did put the water in first and once everything was in gave it a stir . I agree with the cleaning it’s a little fiddly , I used the clean cycle but still needed to wipe the blade casing and the inside of the pot but that said it’s definitely worth the little effort required.

I read a LOT of reviews of soup makers before buying this Tefal one, and nearly all the reviews seem to fall into 2 categories:
    1: It’s great, or
2: It WAS great, then it fused the electrics and melted

I bought this model as it had consistently good reviews, and I can see why. Unboxing it my only thought was that you could “feel the quality”, it’s really solid and looks great. Using it is as simple as chopping up your vegetables, adding some water and a stock cube, turning it on, and 23 minutes later you’ve got delicious soup.

It comes with a little recipe book which is very handy for getting an idea about quantities of things, after making a few of those I’ve started inventing my own recipes, they’ve all been good so far.

Cleaning is really easy, just fill it half full with hot water, run the cleaning program for 4 minutes, and rinse it out. I’ve been using this every day for a couple of weeks and it’s just brilliant. Totally recommended.

Everything is easy to use, the buttons on the top just tell you so you can’t get muddled up. Its easy to clean and with the automatic cleaner it takes no time at all. The only thing about it is it does stick a little at the bottom so a small amount of hand cleaning is necessary. It makes soup making very easy. It looks good and is well built.

I’m a huge lover of soup but a huge procrastinator. I can never be bothered making anything from scratch but since I’m trying to be healthier I thought it was best to make my own soup.
Store bought soups can have unhealthier items in but making soup in a pot then blending it is such a faff.
This is so easy! You don’t even need to chop anything nicely. Just throw in your veg, some stock then hit go!
The soup this machine has made is honestly 10 times better than store bought and this way I know what’s in it!!
    10/10 definitely recommend!!

It is not as easy to clean as they describe – it has a cleaning function that is as useful as a chocolate teapot but it’s hit difficult to clean with a sponge scrubby cloth and the soup is worth it every single time 🙂

It makes tasty soups in about half an hour and is easy to clean and it has a self clean function to it. I usuay clean it with hot soapy water and rinse well and then finish off with the self clean function – perfect! I have only had this a short time and it seens a sturdy piece of equipment so I trust it will continue to work well. Would recommend if you like nutritious home made soups – creamed or chunky!

The reason we bought this Tefal Easy Soup Maker is because we like a nice bowl of soup but are getting a bit concerned with the amount of sugar they are putting in a can of soup ( why do they have to put so much sugar in a can of soup)

I have never used a soup maker before so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but after making my first soup I was most impressed,
This is the difference between making your soup with a soup maker and making your soup without a soup maker

I do like to make butternut squash soup,
Naturally it takes the same amount of time preparing your vegetables and ingredients how ever you are making it
Start by frying the onions for 5. minutes to get them soft, then put them in a large saucepan with the rest of the ingredients add the water bring to the boil and let them simmer for 35 minutes
After that you have to put it all in the mixer too make the soup, ( soup now made ) but plenty of washing up and cleaning your utensils

Now with the Tefal Easy Soup Maker all you do is put all the ingredients in the stainless steel mixer bowl add the correct amount of water put the soup maker top on, switch it on and select one of the 5 options for the soup you fancy ( cream, or chunky) then press and let the soup maker do the rest, after 23 minutes your soup is ready
As for cleaning just put some water in the bowl and press the cleaning mode

This Tefal Easy soup Maker is well made from Stainless steel with 5 settings ( cream soups, chunky soups, also creates compote and will blend without heat ) and will keep your soup warm for approximately 40 minutes until you are ready for it

One of the main reasons for making homemade soup is the fact that it’s all made from fresh vegetables and there’s no added sugar which makes it a healthier meal

I hope this review was helpful

    Make great soup

I wasn’t sure what to expect but as several of my friends recommended a soup maker I bought this one. It’s so easy to use, I’ve made up soups of my choosing with veg I’ve got in. It takes about 30 minutes and is scorching hot. It makes enough for 2 to 3 bowls depending on choice, any leftover I freeze. Also, big bonus, so easy to clean.

Very simple to use. The review asks for a rating for “flavour” but that is dependent on what you put in it. I’ve had limited use so far and haven’t experienced the cleaning problems a few reviewers mentioned. A swill out immediately on emptying the soup and leaving some warm water for a short while till running the clean program seems to prove effective

Pleased with the soup maker, I would say it makes 2 large bowls, not had it long have made leek and potato and sweet potato soup, just chop the veg into smallish chunks add stock and that’s it. There are two levels and there’s not that much difference between them where you have to fill the level up to in soup making, I haven’t tried the other functions yet. The easy clean you add water and press the easy clean button and it takes a few minutes, I used it twice because I thought it still wasn’t clean and Idid clean the blades separately, but all in all it’s a good gadget, much quicker than making soup in a saucepan and the results were lovely.

I purchased this to replace one that had broken down, I made a very good choice. I am not disappointed with the maker or the soups, which taste great/better and made in better way in this maker than my old one. I wouldn’t recommend to make lentil soup in it or anything what needs longer cooking, but for a quick light soup it works perfectly. But I think its best feature is compot making and blending. Its my life safer to make fresh and tasty compot for my baby

This is the 2nd one we’ve brought. It is a good soup maker but it can be difficult to clean and eventually it appears that water or steam gets into the electrical system on the handle. This causes the soup maker to trip the house electrics. We did try another make/brand which also did the same eventually.

This is so so easy to use, No more pans and liquidisers to wash. It has an easy clean feature which really works ! I e been experimenting with all sort of things, I even use it to make stew, with vegetarian mince, so everything is fully cooked through and it makes two good generous portions, and is ready In no time flat. I also make pured fruit to top yogurt ( once chilled). It is economical in use and means everything gets used up. Any left over veg becomes a soup! I’m really glad I bought it, Not something you can always say about everything you buy. I was undecided between this and another make , I liked the features of this one but the other make had a 1.6 litre capacity and I was concerned this only had 1.2. I have since discovered that 1.2 litres of anything soup stew or pure fruit is absolutely plenty. To serve two. The smooth soup is like velvet . It also makes great smoothies. I am really pleased to leave this glowing report on this soup maker because I think the manufacturers really deserve a pat on the back for this one. Since I bought it I have used it at least every other day. And I’m delighted beyond words with this machine.

I bought this in spite of some of the bad reviews regarding cleaning and find it makes very pleasant soup, and I’m very happy with it. The self cleaning function is more of a light rinse and i have found that there is burnt residuals at the bottom that need effort to remove with a metal non scratch scourer, but this is not that bad. And as long as you don’t over fill it, you won’t get over spills. It can easily provide at least 3 Bowls of soup.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt could be because I use lots of spices and stock cubes, but even dissolved in water and despite adding oil first (as some reviews have suggested) it tends to burn. First time it was difficult, almost impossible to scrub off and I was discouraged and was put off using it again. However, tried soaking just the burnt area in a few sprays of cillit bang for a few minutes and it scrubs away very easily. I usually make a larger quantity of soup in a stock pot, but this is so much easier and quicker for during the working week. No standing over the pot sauteing and stirring- the taste seems just as full bodied. On balance it was a good purchase, especially at the discounted price, and I will use it often for speedy, little effort soups but with the cillit bang cleaning tip.

An update after using frequently. The taste of the soups with just the desired vegetables, an onion and stock is incredible, so much better than in a saucepan. I’ve learned to add my dry spices at the end, though the flavour is amazing without all of that, and it rarely burns now. I also rinse out the jug straightaway before anything gets dried on and it only takes a couple of minutes.

She loves it, as a student she can just grab what is in the fridge and have a soup ready in half an hour – and the thing cleans itself.
Using a small amount of oil first, stops food sticking to the bottom of the flask (a small problem I notice others had).
The quality of the blended soup is outstanding, and being contained in once device, there is no mess (unlike using a separate blender to make smooth soup.

So easy to use and makes piping hot soup within 25 minutes. Comes with a small recipe book, which was handy, but I find just throwing a load of veg, stock and some seasoning in just as easy and you know you’re getting a healthy meal out of it!!

Only slight draw back is it is sometimes tricky getting blender/blades through all the ingredients to get the lid on and start it, but this is minor, maybe higher end products have a hood or something you can drop ingredients through.

Definitely a great purchase and made lunches so much easier and healthier!!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our Users5 Stars, it produces amazingly smooth soups. The ease and quality of making soups is absolutely superb. A few reviews have commented residue has stuck on the inside but i have found smearing some vegetable oil on the surface stops this completely from happening. The self cleaning programme has always left the inside completely clean just using hot water. The ease of clearing up after cooking soup is quite literally never been so easy. Also I have found that the chunky soup option produces great chunky soup without any problems, I have no idea why some of the reviewers have said that this did not work as well as they would have liked. Definitely would recommend and I have now bought one for my student granddaughter and she is over the moon with it.

My mum makes soups a lot of the time but the one thing is the mess that the kitchen ends up in afterwards. She wanted to buy this as a way of keeping that simple – it was recommended to her from a friend who also loved it. We had a lovely veg soup the other day, it was smooth, nice and hot, and really tasty AND there was only one thing to wash up, really simple! Can’t wait for the next soup we’re going to have now 😀

I have used this almost every day since I bought it. I have always made soup so I didn’t think I’d really need or enjoy this product but it is just incredible. I chop a few vegetables, go and do a bit of work in the garden and in 25 mins I have hot soup. It’s very good!!!

I love it so much that the day it died (after 3 years and a half of good and faithful service, once or twice a week) I ordered a new one. I paid 60 3 years ago and had to pay a bit more (73) for the second one, but I guess if you were willing to wait you could find it on offer.
It makes 2 large bowls of soup, perfect quantity for me. Keeps the soup warm even after it switches off. It is very easy to clean; just make sure you rinse it straight after use.

Love it and can;t stop making soup! Bought to replace a Drew and Cole soup maker that only lasted a month. Very robust unit. Very easy to use and clean. Only criticism is that the lid doesn’t actually seal when the handle is pushed down and cable where it fits into soup maker seems very loose.

Bought this after reading many poor reviews of a rival brand re food sticking at the bottom. This Tefal soup maker is very easy to use, cleans itself and looks great on the worktop. I like it so much I have bought one for my daughter and have recommended it to several friends. Makes enough for two generous bowls. It will chop and heat, to make smooth or chunky soups, or makes a fruit compote – and it will keep the soup warm after cooking. Cleaning is easy – put in some hot water up to the mark and press a button! The soups have been delicious and nothing has stuck or burnt. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

I love my soup maker it’s so easy to make the soup. No cooking all the ingredients waiting for it to cool, then blending, plus all the washing-up. Just put everything in, turn it on and it’s so easy to clean afterwards.

The main reason for giving this four instead of five stars is that the self clean option is not ideal. It does a reasonable job on cleaning the main jug but doesn’t touch the inside of the lid and blender so you still need to clean these. Otherwise this is easy to use, quick and makes three good sized portions of soup – or four if you want it as a starter rather than a main course. During lockdown I have used it regularly to make vegetable soup to use up leftover veg slightly past it’s best. As a first time soup maker owner I have nothing to compare it with but have had no issues after six weeks of regular use

This is brilliant. I am used to making soup “old school” in a big pan. It is great just using a small amount of ingredients each time and getting piping hot soup. Best to chop veg small as it cooks better. We prefer soup with pieces setting then blend a little to get a less puree style. Just getting used to getting the quantities right for our taste. Easy to clean and we are using it nearly every day.

Best soup maker out there. We had a Morphy Richards one, but it sadly broke a year after purchasing. We are very impressed with this one- it’s much better! The smooth function is excellent at churning out a delicious soup in around 20 minutes. Such an amazing machine- just chuck in whatever veg is in your fridge and it makes a delicious soup 🙂 Would recommend!

The Tefal Easy Soup Maker is a fabulous bit of kit. It was my wife’s Christmas present and she loves it. It makes restaurant standard smooth soup….My wife can’t stop using it…..I have soup coming out of my ears!!

Great product works right out of the box.
We made smoothies first and it was so quick and easy no lumps.
Made the packet soup in it too but that left a small bit stuck at the end but understandably, easy to clean as its stainless steal just wash and wipe with a sponge and soap.
Making fresh soup later with fresh veg cant wait.

great product honestly. easy to use , easy to clean and doesnt take up much space at all

I was looking at the various soup makers as I wanted to buy one for our adult son who had shown interest in the idea as we chatted together on the phone. I thought mine was over a year old but when my husband looked on our purchase history I actually bought the Tefal one in January 2018! I was most surprised to know it has been in our home almost three years. Wow. I would not like to be without my Tefal soup maker as it is so quick and easy to use and I think my son would find it so as well. His daughter, our granddaughter who spends a lot of time with us also enjoys making soup, and she can safely be left to conjure up fresh soup out of whatever we have in the fridge. One of our favourites is Broccoli and Stilton, along with potato and leek, curried parsnip and mixed veg. Whilst I first considered the Morphy Richards one for him, after reading many of the reviews, I have decided that the Tefal soup maker is really the only one I will be buying for him as I know it is absolutely brilliant.

Very pleased. Shall buy now for my mum and brother for Christmas. Saves time in the kitchen 100%( had a bubble bath whilst my soup was being prepared!). Amazing. I have become healthier since !

Love my soup maker so easy to use. Some lovely recipes in the book that comes with it. Once made it goes to keep warm setting if required. Once emptied fill with water and press the clean button, when that’s finished empty and wipe around. Makes enough for 2 large bowls or 3 smaller servings.
