    Does what it claims
Very simple to use. The review asks for a rating for “flavour” but that is dependent on what you put in it. I’ve had limited use so far and haven’t experienced the cleaning problems a few reviewers mentioned. A swill out immediately on emptying the soup and leaving some warm water for a short while till running the clean program seems to prove effective

    Quickly became indispensable
For a five-person family quickly became indispensable. Great soups quickly and easily.

The only remark relates to cleaning. Auto cleaning initiates the process but some scrubbing is required.

Great soup, super quick and easy!!
Never made soup before and as the days and nights are getting colder I wanted to be able to have homemade soup to warm the cockles.
After reading many reviews I bought the Tefal easy soup and it lives up to the name!
Great product, very reasonably priced, super easy to use – my favourite purchase of 2021!

    Speedy soupmake
I bought this for my wife recently on recommendation from one of our daughters as she makes lots of soup.
She has found it extremely efficient to use and reduces the time to make soup dramatically! Once filled up with vegetables the whole operation only takes 20 mins and the results are brilliant! Comes with it’s own recipe book which is very good. Highly recommend!

    Soup for supper?
I like to use this soup maker – but it isnt as easy to use as I thought and it certainly isnt as easy to clean as they said it will be. I like the creamed soup but the compot maker is a waste of time. Mine certainly didnt look like the photo in the menu book,.

    Good gadge
Pleased with the soup maker, I would say it makes 2 large bowls, not had it long have made leek and potato and sweet potato soup, just chop the veg into smallish chunks add stock and that’s it. There are two levels and there’s not that much difference between them where you have to fill the level up to in soup making, I haven’t tried the other functions yet. The easy clean you add water and press the easy clean button and it takes a few minutes, I used it twice because I thought it still wasn’t clean and Idid clean the blades separately, but all in all it’s a good gadget, much quicker than making soup in a saucepan and the results were lovely.

    Great soup make
I purchased this to replace one that had broken down, I made a very good choice. I am not disappointed with the maker or the soups, which taste great/better and made in better way in this maker than my old one. I have made soup with pieces and creamed soup and both were well made, all the ingredients cooked well and tasty. It is easy to clean, using the preset function. If you want a soup maker, get this one, it will not disappoint.

eceived it on 13th of August and so far absolutely love it.
I wouldn’t recommend to make lentil soup in it or anything what needs longer cooking, but for a quick light soup it works perfectly. But I think its best feature is compot making and blending. Its my life safer to make fresh and tasty compot for my baby

    Good soup maker bu
This is the 2nd one we’ve brought. It is a good soup maker but it can be difficult to clean and eventually it appears that water or steam gets into the electrical system on the handle. This causes the soup maker to trip the house electrics. We did try another make/brand which also did the same eventually.

    CLEAN , EASY, ECONOMICAL, TASTY.
This is so so easy to use, No more pans and liquidisers to wash. It has an easy clean feature which really works ! I e been experimenting with all sort of things, I even use it to make stew, with vegetarian mince, so everything is fully cooked through and it makes two good generous portions, and is ready In no time flat. I also make pured fruit to top yogurt ( once chilled). It is economical in use and means everything gets used up. Any left over veg becomes a soup! I’m really glad I bought it, Not something you can always say about everything you buy. I was undecided between this and another make , I liked the features of this one but the other make had a 1.6 litre capacity and I was concerned this only had 1.2. I have since discovered that 1.2 litres of anything soup stew or pure fruit is absolutely plenty. To serve two. The smooth soup is like velvet . It also makes great smoothies. I am really pleased to leave this glowing report on this soup maker because I think the manufacturers really deserve a pat on the back for this one. Since I bought it I have used it at least every other day. And I’m delighted beyond words with this machine.

    Good all in one product.
I bought this in spite of some of the bad reviews regarding cleaning and find it makes very pleasant soup, and I’m very happy with it. The self cleaning function is more of a light rinse and i have found that there is burnt residuals at the bottom that need effort to remove with a metal non scratch scourer, but this is not that bad. And as long as you don’t over fill it, you won’t get over spills. It can easily provide at least 3 Bowls of soup.

Love this soup maker. Having had a bad experience with another well known brand I got this one and it’s perfect. Looks great and does it’s job. Only problem is there’s no countdown display so you have to guess how long it’s got to go (or set another timer/watch the clock) but that’s a minor issue

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersProne to burning but still handy
It could be because I use lots of spices and stock cubes, but even dissolved in water and despite adding oil first (as some reviews have suggested) it tends to burn. First time it was difficult, almost impossible to scrub off and I was discouraged and was put off using it again. However, tried soaking just the burnt area in a few sprays of cillit bang for a few minutes and it scrubs away very easily. I usually make a larger quantity of soup in a stock pot, but this is so much easier and quicker for during the working week. No standing over the pot sauteing and stirring- the taste seems just as full bodied. On balance it was a good purchase, especially at the discounted price, and I will use it often for speedy, little effort soups but with the cillit bang cleaning tip.

An update after using frequently. The taste of the soups with just the desired vegetables, an onion and stock is incredible, so much better than in a saucepan. I’ve learned to add my dry spices at the end, though the flavour is amazing without all of that, and it rarely burns now. I also rinse out the jug straightaway before anything gets dried on and it only takes a couple of minutes.

I love this soup maker, a great way to use up odds and sods of vegetables and stock. Produced soup quickly and easily. However don’t like the fact that there is frequently a small burned area that has to be soaked in order to remove.

Great soup maker - highly recommended
I bought one for me, loved it so much bought a second one for my granddaughter.
She loves it, as a student she can just grab what is in the fridge and have a soup ready in half an hour – and the thing cleans itself.
Using a small amount of oil first, stops food sticking to the bottom of the flask (a small problem I notice others had).
The quality of the blended soup is outstanding, and being contained in once device, there is no mess (unlike using a separate blender to make smooth soup.

So easy to use and makes piping hot soup within 25 minutes. Comes with a small recipe book, which was handy, but I find just throwing a load of veg, stock and some seasoning in just as easy and you know you’re getting a healthy meal out of it!!

Only slight draw back is it is sometimes tricky getting blender/blades through all the ingredients to get the lid on and start it, but this is minor, maybe higher end products have a hood or something you can drop ingredients through.

Definitely a great purchase and made lunches so much easier and healthier!!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersExcellent Soup make
5 Stars, it produces amazingly smooth soups. The ease and quality of making soups is absolutely superb. A few reviews have commented residue has stuck on the inside but i have found smearing some vegetable oil on the surface stops this completely from happening. The self cleaning programme has always left the inside completely clean just using hot water. The ease of clearing up after cooking soup is quite literally never been so easy. Also I have found that the chunky soup option produces great chunky soup without any problems, I have no idea why some of the reviewers have said that this did not work as well as they would have liked. Definitely would recommend and I have now bought one for my student granddaughter and she is over the moon with it.

My mum makes soups a lot of the time but the one thing is the mess that the kitchen ends up in afterwards. She wanted to buy this as a way of keeping that simple – it was recommended to her from a friend who also loved it. We had a lovely veg soup the other day, it was smooth, nice and hot, and really tasty AND there was only one thing to wash up, really simple! Can’t wait for the next soup we’re going to have now 😀

I love it so much that the day it died (after 3 years and a half of good and faithful service, once or twice a week) I ordered a new one. I paid 60 3 years ago and had to pay a bit more (73) for the second one, but I guess if you were willing to wait you could find it on offer.
It makes 2 large bowls of soup, perfect quantity for me. Keeps the soup warm even after it switches off. It is very easy to clean; just make sure you rinse it straight after use.

Bought this after reading many poor reviews of a rival brand re food sticking at the bottom. This Tefal soup maker is very easy to use, cleans itself and looks great on the worktop. I like it so much I have bought one for my daughter and have recommended it to several friends. Makes enough for two generous bowls. It will chop and heat, to make smooth or chunky soups, or makes a fruit compote – and it will keep the soup warm after cooking. Cleaning is easy – put in some hot water up to the mark and press a button! The soups have been delicious and nothing has stuck or burnt. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

The main reason for giving this four instead of five stars is that the self clean option is not ideal. It does a reasonable job on cleaning the main jug but doesn’t touch the inside of the lid and blender so you still need to clean these. Otherwise this is easy to use, quick and makes three good sized portions of soup – or four if you want it as a starter rather than a main course. During lockdown I have used it regularly to make vegetable soup to use up leftover veg slightly past it’s best. As a first time soup maker owner I have nothing to compare it with but have had no issues after six weeks of regular use

    Fantastic kitchen gadge
This is brilliant. I am used to making soup “old school” in a big pan. It is great just using a small amount of ingredients each time and getting piping hot soup. Best to chop veg small as it cooks better. We prefer soup with pieces setting then blend a little to get a less puree style. Just getting used to getting the quantities right for our taste. Easy to clean and we are using it nearly every day.

    Great quality soup make
Best soup maker out there. We had a Morphy Richards one, but it sadly broke a year after purchasing. We are very impressed with this one- it’s much better! The smooth function is excellent at churning out a delicious soup in around 20 minutes. Such an amazing machine- just chuck in whatever veg is in your fridge and it makes a delicious soup 🙂 Would recommend!

The Tefal Easy Soup Maker is a fabulous bit of kit. It was my wife’s Christmas present and she loves it. It makes restaurant standard smooth soup….My wife can’t stop using it…..I have soup coming out of my ears!!

The self clean function has a lot to be desired but generally I like it. It is not too difficult to wash by hand. I like just to throw chopped veg in and 20 min later soup.

    Great Produc
Great product works right out of the box.
We made smoothies first and it was so quick and easy no lumps.
Made the packet soup in it too but that left a small bit stuck at the end but understandably, easy to clean as its stainless steal just wash and wipe with a sponge and soap.
Making fresh soup later with fresh veg cant wait.

great product honestly. easy to use , easy to clean and doesnt take up much space at all

Soup very hot & easy to use.
Soup smooth and chunky both turns out excellent. Not always easy to clean when making smooth soup particularly if the soup maker is left to keep warm position.
Over all very easy to use.

Tefal soup maker never fails to please, so easy a child can make soup.
I was looking at the various soup makers as I wanted to buy one for our adult son who had shown interest in the idea as we chatted together on the phone. I thought mine was over a year old but when my husband looked on our purchase history I actually bought the Tefal one in January 2018! I was most surprised to know it has been in our home almost three years. Wow. I would not like to be without my Tefal soup maker as it is so quick and easy to use and I think my son would find it so as well. His daughter, our granddaughter who spends a lot of time with us also enjoys making soup, and she can safely be left to conjure up fresh soup out of whatever we have in the fridge. One of our favourites is Broccoli and Stilton, along with potato and leek, curried parsnip and mixed veg. Whilst I first considered the Morphy Richards one for him, after reading many of the reviews, I have decided that the Tefal soup maker is really the only one I will be buying for him as I know it is absolutely brilliant.

Excellent Kitchen assistant and a brilliant gift idea!
Very pleased. Shall buy now for my mum and brother for Christmas. Saves time in the kitchen 100%( had a bubble bath whilst my soup was being prepared!). Amazing. I have become healthier since !

    Great soup make
Love my soup maker so easy to use. Some lovely recipes in the book that comes with it. Once made it goes to keep warm setting if required. Once emptied fill with water and press the clean button, when that’s finished empty and wipe around. Makes enough for 2 large bowls or 3 smaller servings. Joined a group on FB and loads more recipes and tip there.

    Tefal soup make
This is amazing. It’s so easy to use and clean. I never thought I would see myself buying a soup maker as I had always made soup on the stove. But I was recommended to buy one and I chose this one. Making soup is so quick and easy. Half an hour and your fresh soup is made.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOMG! I love love this! Sell Your Car and buy this lol
seriously folks, if you love soup, you NEED to get this. I have no association to Tefal or no incentive for me to say this. if you value you and your family’s health and want home-made freshly made soup then this is a no-brainer. I love soup but the problem was all store bought soups have ‘whatever’ the food manufacturers choose to put in that and blend it with a lot of carbs, sodium, even MSG and other unwanted ingredients. what do you do? take control of your body’s health and do it yourself. this baby comes in handy about 5 times a week atleast for me especially when working from home and dont have much time to make soup. I do the prep and put in small boxes soup-maker ready items and keep the soup maker clean and ready to go. I also make my own veg stock and keep in fridge. so almost everyday or every other day when I want my amazing soup I add the ingredients, my stock and spices I want. if you like coconut cream put 1-2 tablespoon of that and wolla! (use himalayan pink salt and not the toxic table salt) and there you have it folks. enjoy!

    Good
Easy to use, easy to clean and is very useful with batch making baby food!
The only problem is theres not a great difference in the minimum and maximum levels.

So easy to use and you can ring the changes with the types of soup you can make. Beautiful bowls of soup ready in just 15-20 minutes and the self clean option is a boon.

A great asset to any kitchen and cook, a genuine must have.
I love this soup maker, it’s stylish easy to clean and worth every penny.
Meat needs to be cooked first which I wasn’t aware of but I only ever use chicken so that was done in the microwave first, then you literally chop everything and throw it in up to the level, put in your stock, put the lid on and press your menus choice, it takes 25 minutes to make your soup.
I made butternut squash and coconut milk soup, first attempt and it was great really tasty. I would recommend this to anyone it’s a great asset to any kitchen, and cook.

Love this despite it sitting in the box for a few weeks after I’d purchased it. It looks complicated to use but it’s so easy. All soup I’ve made tastes amazing, so much better than bought soup. If you want to make really healthy, easy lunches, then buy this product! You won’t regret it.

    makes the best soups eve
I purchased this item as I have to have a liquid diet for health reasons.I have been making soup for years in my old pressure cooker then using my liquidiser to blend smooth. The soup maker does it all for me in just 25 minutes and keeps it hot if I don’t need to eat it immediately after cooking,Brilliant and much cheaper homemade soup at a fraction of the cost of bought soups

    Excellent product.
    Great recipe book.
So easy to use and the soups are tasty.
Only makes enough for 2 but so fast easy to prepare for 4 and make 2 batches.
Only improvement I’d suggest is minimum and max fill markers are really hard to see.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersUseful but don't rely on the easy-clean optio
I have been using this regularly since a couple of months, more for smoothies and sometimes for soups. They turn out well and is a good addition to your kitchen gadgets. I would definitely not rely on the easy-clean option as it doesn’t do a good job. I use some soapy water and gently scrub the inner side and the blades , and then rinse it carefully without letting water enter the plug sockets and electrical points. Apart from that, I am happy with it as now my family is consuming a lot of fruit and veg !

    A VERY Good Product!
No dislikes! VERY relieved to find that ALL the inner food-touching surfaces are of stainless steel and NOT compromised by an unmentioned non-stick surface in the bottom or elsewhere of an otherwise “stainless steel” product!
Very good supplier service too! The soup maker arrived a day before expected.
    Performance excellent.

Makes great soup. Simple to use. Easy to clean. Makes three large portions. Easy to pour out. Nice and consistent. Happy customer.

Not so keen on fruit option but for soup alone well worth it.

Extremely easy to use! Very easy to clean with its self clean function, just wipe it out afterwards. Comes with a recipe book too which is a bit s*** so I bought the 100 soup recipes book from amazon which is awesome. My only downside is that I should have looked at a bigger one to make family sized, we just make 2 batches now instead as it’s a quick 25 minutes and your soup is made!

Lovely soup but lead very sho
The lead is too short and the steam goes up into my press. Ideally the soup maker should be under the extractor fan while the soup is cooking as a lot of steam comes out. I have to get an extension lead to do this and it is a nuisance.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIdeal for quick soup making
Easy to use item. Chop the ingredients & put them in, top up to Max level & select ‘Smooth’ or ‘Chunky’… Job done!
Think heavier, small size ingredients (lentils, peas, chopped tomatoes etc) might stick, or burn to bottom, but fine for carrots, butternut, leeks etc. Happened to me once, but that might have been my fault. Only ever used the smooth function, that turns out perfectly.
