The hedgecutter is great and without a cable easy to use. The battery charger is less reliable and only gives a cutting time of about 3/4 hour, not long enough to trim a hedge completely.
This’ll used to trim very large hedge. Would highly recommend
Love the flexibility of using this non corded trimmer. Not as powerful as my old corded one but perfect for most home situations such as cutting ivy back, conifer trimming and similar.Battery life seems to go on forever…very impressed

Much easier to use than a corded hedge trimmer. Used on a large hedge, was worried that the battery would run out but it managed to complete the hedge no problem. Very pleased with it so far.
Bought this last June. Used it a couple of times last summer and it performed well. . Tried to use it again today. Charged the battery as per manual. Battery charge only allows 10 seconds use then dead. Replacement batteries not available anywhere so left with a useless piece of machinery. A quick google reveals that this is a common problem. Not impressed.
I am 73 and used to dread cutting my hedge with my old cutter. This one is so much lighter. The battery is easy to fit and charges very quickly.
Bought this for medium level pruning. Very happy with it. Battery life is good. Its quite light weight so can be used for pruning smaller shrubs as well as hedges.
This is a nice piece of kit and does the job for which its intended. Husband has a petrol trimmer ,much too heavy for me to lift never mind use, and he was dubious this cordless hedge trimmer would be up to the job. He (reluctantly) gave it a try and was well impressed with the sharpness, ease of use and the battery life. We used it on a mixed natural hedge around our car parking area which consists of natural Uk species including Blackthorn, wild rose , hawthorn and bird cherry.
We also have a Terratek strimmer, and its nice that all the batteries are the same, so you can always have a couple of fully charged batteries. The battery use is good – around 40 minutes – and I’ve never ran out of battery halfway through a job.
Good value for a rechargeable hedge trimmer, which don’t usually get a good report.
Went through an over grown Forsythia (which was blocking garden path) quite easily.
You will need to buy some cleaner/ lubrication spray for the blade.
Really liked it easy to use and I’m 81.

Easy to manoeuvre and easily cut through the new growth of my hedge. The battery lasted long enough for me to do all sides of a 22′ hedge
Only drawback I’ve found is that if the cutting blades gets damp it stops running – even with the battery at full power! The battery runs for long enough that when it eventually runs out the second battery (if you have one) is fully charged so you’re ready to go again.
Excellent piece of kit. Lightweight and easy to use. Cutting blade is a good length and a full charge lasts for ages. Also have the extendable version and would recommend both

The machine was bought as a long reach trimmer was unusable due to the heavy motor on the end of the pole. This trimmer is lightweight and easy to use having to use both hands for safe usage. The trimmer can not be used single handed which is a plus sign regarding safety.
My old hedge trimmer ceased to work after 24 years . I did not know they now made them that good i.e. Lightweight , easy to use , a neat cut and prompt delivery .

Brilliant! So, so much better than my old one! I’ve arthritis in my shoulder which can get very painful, so ease of use and weight was a big factor when considering which hedge trimmer to buy. Because the trimmer cuts so effectively, there was no going backwards and forwards over the same area of hedging, I got the job done in less than half the time of my old trimmer, so it didn’t aggravate my pain to the degree of the old trimmer. Trimmer cut easily through thicker hedge branches. Overall a great hedge trimmer that performed brilliantly. I’ve only used it once, so am unable to comment regarding durability.

Not a lot to say, but it is superb, the battery lasted for two cuts about an hour total and with spare batteries available it is a great deal.
Used this to cut a 2.5 metre high x 7 metre long Laurel hedge, was expecting the battery to die but just kept going. Only downside,Battery takes a while to charge so maybe should have bought a spare but apart from this it’s still amazing value

Excellent hedge trimmer for the money. Cuts through privet, nettles and brambles with ease. Battery lasts for long enough to cut a 10 meter hedge and only takes an hour or so to recharge. Highly recommended!
This is an absolute gem! Im in my seventies and needed something light, effective and easy to use and this fits the bill in every department!
I replaced them with Black & Decker mains powered and they were great but it was quite a performance in preparation: mains extensions, step ladders etc. and then putting the paraphernalia away again.
So I decided to try battery power again in the hope that technology had advanced since my first unfortunate experience. And it had. Lighter, much more powerful, good battery life and quick recharge. Very pleased with them.

Our hedge was somewhat overgrown and dealt with it admirably. It does get a little stuck on the larger bits of the hedge, but as long as you’re steady with it, it also deals with the larger foliage too. Would definitely recommend / buy again.

I’m really pleased with the performance of the hedge trimmer and was very impressed with how quick and easy it was to cut the hedge, with the added freedom of no extension lead/cord, being dragged through the house!! The battery took about 35 minutes to charge, after use.
