I wear a size 10D in leather shoes and a 10.5 or 11 in sneakers. I ordered a size down (9.5) per the instructions and the boots fit perfectly. Didn’t even need to break them in. I liked them so much that I went ahead and ordered a pair of their Chelsea boots.

I got these for casual wear, when I don’t need safety toe boots. Incredibly comfortable, after 2-3 days broken in. I literally walked a parade route THREE days into wearing them, and my feet felt great. Coming from combat boots that that take forever to break in, that’s amazing. So far, I’m happy with how the leather has held up. I do use cedar boot trees to absorb the moisture. They still smell like new leather. the uppers haven’t creased or scratched. I do have so toe rub marks on the outsole, but nothing that can’t be fixed with routine maintenance. Very happy.

Let’s get one thing straight, these are by no means made of soft leather. The leather is heavy-duty and sturdy.
After a few days it breaks in and fits wonderfully, and it doesn’t feel like you’re going to hurt your boots by walking on nearly any surface, rough asphalt included. Love these.
The Presidents are beautifully constructed boots however I really don't like how pointy the toe is. I find that I don't wear them now because of that.

I wear a 11.5 in sneakers and size 11 fits great. My only complaint is the tip of the sole wears quickly. After the first couple of days it was like the picture. So minus one star for that. The rough and tough leather is a great zero maintenance option, and looks good in jeans and a t-shirt.

In the past I had the habit to buy cheap boots. I should have paid to get some good one.... Those boots will certainly last for a few years so at the end their yearly cost will be the same. More confortable, good looking, and moreover a good mmove for the environnement.

For starters they look great. My husband is hard on his boots, he required something tough but also fashionable and comfortable and these definitely fit the bill. They are excellent in any type of terrain and have good grip. They say you get what you pay for and these are definitely worth the price. My husband usually wear a 9.5 but we bought a 10 in these and they fit perfectly. He can stop raving about these boots.

One of the nicest, most well made boots I've ever seen, Sadly, I had to send them back. The length was true to size but the standard D width, which is the only width available here on Amazon, is too narrow for me. Incredible boots otherwise. If you have a more narrow foot than me, order these in your normal size and you'll be sporting the nicest boots in town.

I like the boots, good cuality. Very poor presentation or the envelope. There is no professional or good presentation in the packaging. The boots arrived in a big box 📦 with no other paper that show the boots were new, they didn't arrived in the original box instead in a box that Amazon provided. There are tho pictures

Be patient, they will break in.
If you are in any way like me, I never wear dress shoes. Only sneakers. And if the idea of spending money on a expensive shoe you will only wear one in a great while seems silly, then you are like me.
These are a great casual, dress, anything boot. I used to wear Doc Martens in my motorcycle days, but I wanted to boot that was as tough, that could dress up. These do that. For me, and maybe because I am heart a sneaker guy, the break in was slow. They have good toe separation for a pointed boot, and I sized down 1/2 as recommended. I also own a pair of Thursdays, yes, sneakers, and those too took a little love to break in.
You will need to break these in. You will want to get boot shoe trees and leather conditioner. War thm round th house and on short walks so you get a feel and immediately put the shoe trees in. I conditioned mine 3 times over the course of a month and worked them in. Totally worth it.
Once they start to loosen up, they are really well crafted, well fitting, great boots. Looking at a pair in black, too.

Great boot and I have had a lot of boots. I opened the box and they were packed beautifully. I wear between a 10.5 and 11, They fit perfectly for me. I work in a factory office so I do a lot of walking from the office to the plant floor and dock area. I also have planter Fasciitis so I was looking for something with a solid midsole but I also wanted traction and for it to be good looking enough to wear with slacks. These boots fill the bill. I am very pleasantly surprised with these boots. Thinking of getting a tan pair. I highly recommend them.

They recommended fir this style a half size big and they were too big. The President they recommended sizing down a half size which I did not do and they are perfect but had I sized down as recommended they would have been too small. Personally I recommend going with your standard work shoe size because their recommendations have been off.

Got a pair in Brown over a month ago. I really like them and I get compliments on them more often than with any other shoes I have owned before, even random people on the street. However, they are not perfect. Honest thoughts:
-The look: great, a bit dressier than your regular captoe. Clean lines, and sharp. I think that is what make people like them and offer compliments on them. From a random lady in the elevator the other day: “I wasn’t gonna say anything, but man, those are some really nice looking boots”. Conversation starter right there.
-The fit: I usually wear 9.5 in sneakers and ordered a pair in size 9, following the company’s advice. They fit well lengthwise, but the right boot feels narrower than the left, making the it a bit uncomfortable. I am hoping this will go away once the boot breaks in. No space for extra insoles in this case, if you want extra insoles, or thicker insoles, order your regular size.
-The confort: they are rather stiff. Again, I am hoping this goes away once the boot break in. Other people say they feel like sneakers, but I don’t think they feel remotely like that, at least not yet.
-The weight: they are heavy. Get ready for a different sensation when you wear them, if you are coming from lightweight shoes.
-The color: it looks more like burgundy in some lights, which is great, I think that gives the boots some character. If they scratch, that will reveal the underlying color, which I believe is the natural leather color, so it will contrast.
-Some people complaint about creases, but my pair is doing ok for now. I don’t have shoes trees, but I do avoid stepping on them.
-The laces: they are stiff, I may change them at some point.

Great boots clearly made of good craftsmanship & solid materials. I so recommend buying a size smaller than your gym shoe size.
I bought a pair last yr & cannot wear them bc they are too big, even though they are my normal size. This yr I bought a pair a 1/2 size smaller & they fit perfectly.

The quality is obvious when you first take them out of the box. A classic looking, bold but not flashy, brown leather boot. Exactly what I was looking for. The soles, however, have a very strange pattern, one I could only describe as "nipple cleats." I wear a size 13 sneaker, but I got a size 12 boot (12.5 would have been perfect, but the world seems to be against that specific size for some reason). I wouldn't wear these hiking, but I don't think that is their intended purpose. Great boot; I'd buy from the this company again. 5 stars.

Beautifully made boots. They are very durable and take time to break in. During this period they are not so comfortable but it’s worth it. nother thing to note – these boots are HEAVY.
I would follow the Thursday boots recommendation for size to get a 1/2 size smaller. The boots are very tight until you break then in. Once they're broken in they're the most comfortable boots you could wear.
