Great value for money CCTV camera for home. This is the second Oscar camera I’ve owned. This more recent one has 1080p resolution, which makes a clear difference. As you can see from the photo (which was taken on our very dark driveway – can barely see the cars are there with the naked eye) night vision is excellent. The companion ‘Clan’ app has had some recent improvements too, and generally works well. Remember to buy a micro SD card if you want the camera to be able to store and play back a the last few days’ of footage. I found a 128Gb one on Amazon Prime for ~15. This is a more cost effective solution than fitting a ‘Ring’ doorbell camera (for example) and paying them a monthly subscription, as the Time2 camera is subs-free (unless you wish to use their cloud storage, which seems unnecessary if you’ve fitted a memory card). This camera also allows 2-way voice comms, but the way, albeit with a ~1s latency. Gives optional motion or sound detection-based notifications to phone too, which can be helpful.
The only minor niggles would be:
1) The 3 supplied fitting screws are incredibly fragile and the heads are very easily rounded off. I used alternative screws (for both of the cameras I have owned).
2) It is very difficult to choose a precise playback time of day through the app if you wish to go back to (say) 01:27am the previous night. You’ll be lucky to home in on it to the nearest 5 minutes, which makes for some wasted time as you wait to review specific events. Perhaps this will be picked up and addressed in the future?
3) Pairing the camera to the companion app through display and read of a QR code on the smartphone took a little practice. Try holding the phone screen a little farther away from the camera than indicated in the instructions (i.e. over 300mm away) to get it to work.
All in all, great value, great image quality and give peace of mind. Just put it up and forget about it.

Now onto motion detection. The camera cannot tell the difference from a human and a washing line. It does a have a filter and even with it turned on the latter is true. It’s interesting because in the public domain there are algorithms that can really help with facial and body detection which won’t take a while to implement.
For the price you get what you paid for and it was pretty easy to set up too. All cameras can be registered on the one Clan app. The app itself is well written and easy to use.
The camera also has firmware installed that did get updated when I first used the camera. This will be handy for further updates, particularly one for human recognition!

Oscar 3 Security Camera
works very well once you set it up. I had a bit of difficulty due to a misunderstanding about the password , (probably just me) but after that all went fine and I had no problems linking it to my Alexa Echo Show
Brilliant, easy to use an crystal clear picture.
Absolutely brilliant, the camera is so easy to install and the app is simple and brilliant. I love the motion and noise detection which automatically records the highlights.
We have a rescue hedgehog staying with us until spring so the footage has been very interesting, and we will be moving the camera outside when we release her back in to the wild again. The picture quality is so clear and I love the alert settings. Perfect and reasonably priced.

Great Camera
This is the first security camera I have purchased. It was very easy to mount on outside of house running a wire through wall. It was simple to connect to the app. The daylight image is in colour and VERY clear. The night vision changes to B&W but again is VERY clear. The voice control is so clear my dogs react to commands I have given them through it. I would highly recommend this camera to others. The price is great compared to others I researched. I will soon be buying two more camera to cover the side of the house and front door.

The camera is clear and easy to install. Must remember though that it runs from 240volts mains and so extension leads may be required to reach mains sockets
Better than expected.
Better than I expected. In situ on my garden shed, some 60 yds or so from my house and Wi-fi router. I use a bt extender to boost the Wi-fi to the bottom of my garden. Although signal strength is between 60 and70 percent, the pictures are very good.

I like the video quality, night vision is also great but a disappointment that the Infrared (IR) light can’t be switch off, Or given the option to do so.

Great little camera! I picked this up to replace a Reolink Argus 2 solar camera as it kept missing people coming down my driveway. The Oscar2 doesn’t miss a thing! Anything that comes into my driveway is picked up perfectly. Very sensitive to rain when its dark though… keep getting alerts every few mins. The ability to record continuously to an SD card without relying on the cloud is a nice touch. Easy to setup, works with the Smart Life app which is convenient if you have other smart devices using the Tuya platform. Only thing that doesn’t wotk using Smart Life is the motion activity zones. If this is a problem stick with the Clan at Home software as directed in the instructions. Tempted to get another one for the other side of the house.

Night vision is OK for about 4-5 metres not that clear further away. Similar with motion detection, this is also affected by wind blowing shrubs around and washing on line. Generally a good product. Easy to install

Great camera that can run 24/7 with an sd card install. Monition detection could do with some tweaking it detects rain with in high sensitivity and range of detection drops slightly when the sensitivity is lowered. Also would have liked the ability to display multiple cameras at once within the app.

I bought this to replace other cheaper poor quality cameras, I have a four camera system around my house but wanted this for my front door area, I have previously had cameras here before this one but had nothing but problems, not recording constantly alerting me or just shutting down for no reason, so after a bit of searching I came across this one from a british company at last.
This camera works very well, no false alerts only alerts me when someone walks in my drive very clear picture good sound and records well, easy to find events when required, in fact I am thinking of changing my other 4 cameras for these as they are far superior and more reliable, company seems very helpful too, well done time2.

Good value for money
I found the Time2 camera easy to install and operate. It automatically records and stores two weeks of footage which you can access and replay quite easily by selecting the date of the day you wish to review. The time selection tool for that day is a bit basic, and not particularly precise, but still usable, but then this is not an overly expensive piece of kit. I switched off the motion sensor alarm as I have it focused on my drive, and the shadows of passing vehicles kept triggering the alarm. The quality of the recording in low light is surprisingly good for such a relatively inexpensive camera. I would recommend this product.

I purchased this to replace an ageing system consisting of a CRT monitor / DVR and 2 large night vision cameras. This wireless system is a vast improvement and at a fraction of the cost from my previous setup.

We are very pleased with this product. We wanted it to cover a fence which is on the longer side of the garden. The garden is narrow, so we didn’t know whether the camera would have a wide enough field of vision. It does. The picture quality is excellent. The camera was easy to set up, being wireless. The power source is from an outdoor PowerPoint which made things a lot easer too. We have purchased another camera, which I will set up to cover our front entrance.
Note we already have another well known brand of camera fitted high up, but they had to be professionally set up.

Not bad
The cameras work ok but are lacking in detail and are poor at night beyond a few metres. You will probably need to extend the power cord as it is not very long. Be careful if buying memory cards, the first ones I bought did not work in the cameras.
Great camera. Issues to me ate two things.
One. Camera cannot swivel left or right only up or down so you need to ensure you site it perfectly.
Two. The 3 screw holes on the back plate are in line with the body of the camera so to screw it in place you need to have the screwdriver at an angle meaning possible screw head damage.
Outdoor camera
This is a great camera for the price. Easy to install, had a faulty one initially but sent it back and the company replaced it straight away 10/10 service would recommend
Superb bit of kit for the price, got it to cover my drive and cars after roofer trashed my older way more expensive system. 128 GB sd card is giving me over 3 weeks of constant recording so long as I delete the motion stills every couple of days. Easy to use and set up with the app , put it on garage and my router is about 60 ft away in a cupboard and still getting minimum 80% connection strength.

Amazing, had two ‘break- ins’, of cars recently within our community, two neighbours have cameras, we now have three!
Easy to install, with App on my phone, link to Alexa, one minor issue, not with the camera, my understanding, however spoke to Adam, all resolved. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 5*from me
Great camera and handy software
Get the ‘Clan at home’ download software, and it’s ‘plain sailing’, logging, reviewing and saving externally only ‘out-of-the-ordinary’ events/incidents. the internal SD card ( about 17 for 128 GB ), will keep recording 24/7 ( if that’s what you want ) and overwrite itself every 16-20 days.

The camera was easy to fit and was reasonably straightforward to connect via the app, but I did ring the help line to sort out one problem and to be fair, they answered the phone immediately and helped me straight away to resolve my issue. The camera picture quality is superb during daylight hours, but is very grainy and not that great during the hours of darkness. Well worth the money, and I will be buying another one for the rear garden shortly.

I purchased an Oscar outdoor from Time 2 some months ago, a setting up problem was professionally dealt with swiftly by knowledgeable customer services. to say i was pleased is an understatement the quality of the live viewing and the video replay is outstanding,both night and day.
Yesterday i purchased 3 x Olivia indoor cameras. The setting up and adding to my existing system was straight forward and very easy. I did purchase the 5metre replacement cables as i didn’t have a local socket vacant. They are also very discrete and blend in well.
Again i am very impressed with the picture quality both live view and video replay night* and day.
* I had a slight picture problem with night vision but, a small adjustment of camera position and formatting the SD card all three cameras are up and running with a very satisfactory result.
I have no hesitation in recommending Oscar & Olivia cameras I mark them 10/10

This camera was working fine till 5 days in, it doesn’t flash notifications up. Spoken to time 2 and now it’s working fine

Motion sensor alarm becomes annoying, the sound sensor is too sensitive even at lowest setting, car driving past 25 yards away set it off. Good cameras easy to set up and great picture quality. Bit of a pain trawling back through stored footage to see when camera was activated, you have to note the time and then scroll back to see what set it off. Overall I am happy with my three cameras and they are up to my job.
Good Product Good Value
Relatively easy to set up, although experienced some difficulties linking to Alexa. Finally managed to do this by disabling and then enabling the Smart Home Skills. Good online support in the form of instructions etc.
Fantastic customer support who were very good and speedy. Good manuals etc especially for connecting to Alexa. However not yet clear how you can command the camera via Alexa. I have raised a question regarding this. I think it’s limited to viewing on the latest version of Firestick.
Worth the money
I bought this product on the review rating as wanted something of good quality and reliability. It was very easy to set up and the picture quality is very good with clear night vision. I’m very pleased with the build but the only issue I am finding is the motion sensor. If the camera is out in the open and open to all of the elements then the rain interferes and sets off the motion sensor. I have turned it down but it still happens. Apart from that i would recommend as a very good product.

Sound very sensitive
Really pleased with our purchases, bought two for back and front of the house. Struggled at first to set the first one up but did it and then was easy to operate.
Only problem I find is with the sound detection it is very sensitive and notifications were going off every few minutes irritating on my Apple Watch so are trying it with sound off!

Buy it and you won't regret it.
I’ve had the camera a week and I’m still looking for something to complain about.
However, what I will say is, Adam Umari in customer services at Time is a gem. This impatient 75 yr old got it working fine until it was fastened onto the outside wall. Then my picture on the mobile came and went. Adam spent most of the day on and off the phone trying to sort me out. Then quite by accident while waiting for yet another call from Adam, I realised it wasn’t the camera but my phone.
Working fine now so much so at least one neighbour, after seeing mine is going to get one.
Great, easy to set up, picture perfect and the best Customer Service ever. Adam even phoned me a couple of days later to ask if everything was o.k.
Word of warning Adam, I’ve told my neighbour (who is as bad as I) to ask for you if she has a problem

Great Outdoor Camera
Great Camera. Easy to set up the only minus would be the length of cable otherwise, everything else about this camera is superb. Would highly recommend.
I spent a long time researching cameras that would meet my requirements. I did not want cloud streaming because my rural broadband is already slow. I did not want continuous wifi streaming which would slow my network. I did want constantly on, motion detection, local storage but not NVR, a good app and potential connection to Alexa for monitoring. I was not particularly keen on Shenzhen Chinese branded stuff. I have an IeGeek and although the picture is great, it’s tempremental, the motion detection is far too sensitive and now just not working.
I was delighted to find a UK supported camera that fitted my requirements. I did have some troubles setting it up with my iPhone 8, but my wife’s iPhone 7 connected straight away, so I piggy backed on hers. The picture is great, motion detection can be sensitive but turned down it’s OK. I like the alerts with the snapshots. It would be great to go straight from the alert to the footage, rather than have to search through playback, but’s that’s fairly minor. I installed an external Access Point especially. Again had troubles connecting, but managed by re-connecting (through wife’s phone) to main network, and then it magically found the EAP when I moved it outside.
So far very happy, and, if it continues to work as it is, I am considering buying more for wider coverage around the property.

I have an IeGeek and although the picture is great, it’s tempremental, the motion detection is far too sensitive and now just not working.
I was delighted to find a UK supported camera that fitted my requirements. I did have some troubles setting it up with my iPhone 8, but my wife’s iPhone 7 connected straight away, so I piggy backed on hers. The picture is great, motion detection can be sensitive but turned down it’s OK. I like the alerts with the snapshots. It would be great to go straight from the alert to the footage, rather than have to search through playback, but’s that’s fairly minor. I installed an external Access Point especially. Again had troubles connecting, but managed by re-connecting (through wife’s phone) to main network, and then it magically found the EAP when I moved it outside.
So far very happy, and, if it continues to work as it is, I am considering buying more for wider coverage around the property.
Exceeded our expectations
Hubby has bought two of these security devices, one for outside and a plug in for inside. They are absolutely brilliant. Easy to install with excellent picture quality and gives us peace of mind that we can keep an eye on our property at all times. We were even able to talk to the horses at the bottom of our garden during a recent visit to Turkey, although they were a little disappointed not to get an apple or a carrot. The service from the help desk is first class and they are able to answer any queries you may have. Have recommended these products and so far two of them have purchased from this company. Would not hesitate to recommend this company or product as it fulfils all our requirements.

I have bought the Oscar 2 and Sophia cameras. They are incredibly easy to set up, and when I couldn’t see how to do something in the App they are brilliantly responsive on the phone – answer almost straight away, listen to the problem and talk you through it. It was such a delight after the last camera I tried. they are on permanent record and send alerts through with a picture to the App message centre and alert your phone notification area. The only problem that I have found currently is that when you go to view the alert recording it just takes you to the current view, rather than the time when the alert happened. I’m told this is an error, but we’ll see.
Concerns? – yes, mainly that if the camera is stolen then video evidence goes with it. Particularly true of the Sophia indoor camera of course. They offer cloud backup in the USA at $45 per camera per annum which seems rather pricey. They tell me that they plan to introduce it in the UK too, but at that price??

Everything about this camera is five stars. Picture quality is outstanding . Sound etc is great. We know who is near our house 24 7 getting instant notifications to our phone. We answered the door to a caller while sitting having lunch on holiday in Prague ! We bought another for the back of the house so everywhere is covered. Just buy it , it is terrific.

Motion detections work very well. I think, it compares the pre and pos images to determine movements rather than infra red signals trigger. You only get alarm if there are real movements (cars or people). Sun light (or shades) movement or plants waving about do not trigger alarm. Very clever software.
With the indoor camera, motion detection even works through the window glasses (for viewing outside from inside the house). However this kind of usage does not work at night because when night visions kicks in the infrared signals reflects on the windows bounce back and blues everything. Nigh vision works very well inside the house (not through windows). I suggest Time2 to update the Clan software to have an override night vision option (like the indicator signal override option), then this camera should work well through the windows at night, by turning night vision off.
Will definitely purchase a few more of these.

Excellent cameras and app
I originally had the earlier version of Time 2’s CCTV and these are a world away from them. Really easy to set up, picture quality is brilliant even at night. You can set them up to respond to motion and/or sound and there are levels of sensitivity, you get alerts on your phone when it detects anything. I was very impressed that I got alerts when I was away from home. It’s sometimes a little slow in alerting me, whether that’s to do with broadband speed? All in all an excellent system.
Outdoor camera
Easy to install once I remembered my WiFi password , being a country property only problem is the rabbit’s continually set it off through the night but it does show just how good both the night vision and the motion sensor are, I could adjust the sensor sensitivity down but then the distance the sensor picked up is reduced so have just left it on high, I would highly recommend these camera’s to anyone considering the price difference between this and a nest camera

great units and work fantastic- i have them in place in the garden of my house abroad- it tings my phone when it detects a passing person of car so i’m happy as it sends me a slice of video to check all is well.
only slight negative is this is the second set i have purchased and this set does a lot more but they are plastic as opposed to die cast metal. if they were more robust then i’d be giving you 5 stars guys

Really good quality day and amazing night images.
Easy to install.
The only downside is the cable is only 2m long. Not long enough if you have to maunt the camera somewhere outside and you do not have power socket close by.

Good clear pictures for this security camera
The time2 security camera is exactly as advertised. It is a wired installation which is what we wanted and is easy to install. If I have any complaints it would be the length of the power cable. That said there is a longer cable which can be purchased. It would be in the company’s interest to provide this as standard.
These are well worth buying.
Very good picture quality and good to look back on what triggers it off. Over sensitive at times but can be if too much of an area set up to watch. Easy to set up. Spiders can be an issue as they set up webs in front and you get a lot of images from the night of ghostly looking spiders making a web.lol..make sure you install an sd card as it costs nothing once fitted to record onto it ongoing. Like these a lot.
Better than RING
This is an amazing product for the price the only downfall is the speaker is not very loud so if you want to talk to someone you need to shout. Cheaper and better than RING so I recommend this you wont be disappointed Jeff

The cameras work perfect and the app for the iPhone/iPad lets me view them from wherever I am. The images are very clear, this includes the night infrared images as well.
Recently got a new router and forgot how to link the camera to the new router.Thanks to the patience and email instructions from Adam at Time 2 quickly resolved.
Very good camera easy to install. 24 hour delivery was excellent.
Great little camera
Great product, easy to install and set up. Good quality pictures both day and night. Cable from camera to first connector is quite short so does require some scrambling around in loft space to make connection if installing under roof soffit.

Great camera easy setup and use
Bought along with the Sophia indoor camera. Pleased I bought this as just like the small indoor camera it’s great, has a simple setup, and easy to install just screw to wall and plug in – I did buy a 10m extension lead for this as the supplied lead wasn’t long enough for me. App is easy to use and nicely minimal but with enough functionality. The motion sensor isn’t perfect and can be a little lag to alert you but it’s still fine. Would buy agai

Not something the neighbours would have tolerated. Oscar 2 allows you to speak into the camera, deterring any intruder. Night camera image quality is good and only one power cable means you don’t have drill a large hole. I did need to contact Time2 and Hannah was patient and helpful.

Great little camera that’s easy to install. Delivery was prompt and the item well packed. I also purchase an extension lead as my power socket was not close enough. Recordings last for three days and are easy to locate. Picture quality is good and covers a wide area. Mine is located to cover my parked car on the drive, no subscription required which is a bonus
I bought this camera a few months back now and it has been just brilliant. The picture quality in both live mode and playback mode are superb and it was so easy to set up.
We have the camera set to detect any motion at our front gates, which are in a private, unlit lane. We want to know if anybody approaches our gates or worse still enters our property.
The three motion detection settings are ideal for us as we can change the settings dependent upon the weather conditions.
It is really helpful getting the banner alert on my phone to say that motion has been detected. Our friend Oscar is a really helpful member of the family. We don’t use the sound detection on it, but could easily do this.
We changed our wireless router at home and the staff at Time2 replied to my query within a couple of hours and gave me a simple to follow instruction. I should have been able to do it, but…..
I would recommend this camera particularly for the price.
