Montati su Mac mini late 2012 (mod 6,1) portandolo a 16 GB. Dopo l’aggiornamento a Catalina era diventato lentissimo, ma adesso con l’aumento di RAM e un drive SSD vola meglio che da nuovo.

Il ont t install dans un MacBook Pro 2012 pour quadrupler sa capacit d’origine passant de 4Go 16 Go qui le maximum sur ce modle.
Si vous n’est pas un professionnel comme moi. N’hsite pas faire appel un pro pour leur installation car ce ncessite quelque connaissant si vous ne possder pas les bons outillages ou si une difficult est rencontrer.
Recommande un Kit iFixit pour le dmontage.

Spot on for Mid 2012 MBP
Put these in my Mid 2012 13″ MacBook Pro. I know Apple says only 8GB, but this same chipset is in a Mac Mini they say you can put 16GB in, so hey presto, it takes this 16GB upgrade a treat! Definitely helps with Logic Pro X and other heavy RAM apps.

Was a bit dubious about upgrading the ram on my MacBook myself but the instructions that were accessed assisted and made process easy. Prompt service, good value, items as described.
It’s complicated.
If you are buying RAM from this company to upgrade an old iMac, then go for it. I’ve done that twice and certainly not regretted it. But with MacMinis I would advise that you to save money and look for other options. Nothing against this company or what they sell (all good as far as I’m concerned). But I’ve now had a few macs, and I find the old MacMinis to be problematic now, regardless of how much RAM you put in there. Maybe if you keep them on the old, original operating system then they can be fine. But this also comes with its own problems (security, for one).
Good value and works well
I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro. This was very much improved by swapping out the drive for a solid state drive (SSD) but as a more marginal improvement I also wanted to increase the RAM from 4GB. At a fairly reasonable price (a bit over 50) swapping the two RAM modules for 2 x 8GB RAM modules (taking the RAM to 16GB) has been a worthwhile upgrade.
Easy to fit (keep the screws in order so they go back in the correct place) and worked first time. Excellent!

Works really well, took an old iMac and made it feel new again. I actually would not mind getting another set for more RAM. If you are running 8g Ram on an older iMac get a set of these and your Mac will run much better.

After installing my computer would not start up, reinstalled the original ram. Dead computer, also external drives not working. Eventually worked out trip switch had been triggered. Now everything ok. I’m sure this has nothing to do with the product. The extra memory works.

Assed these modules to increase RAM in my mid 2012 Apple MacBook Pro in conjunction with 500GB SSD drive and can only say that this has changed a snail to a greyhound in terms of speed improvement. Thanks to supplier for the product and rapid delivery. No comment in review related to gaming as I don’t participate.

Installed this pair of RAM sticks in an old iMac late 2013, alongside a 1TB SSD. Made the iMac run like never before, it is now more akin to a 2017/18 system.

Only other upgrade I could have undertaken would have been to install an NVME drive, but the SSD was a better and more economic upgrade to my mind.

Bought this to upgrade my 23.5″ 2014 iMac and this was the exact same spec. Installed and works a dream.
Gave three stars for ease of fitting but that has nothing to do with the RAM as that clips in the same as any other laptop type RAM. The issue is with Apple as you have to VERY CAREFULLY remove the seal between the screen and the case, very carefully remove the cables from the screen attached to the system board and then pretty much take everything out (and that means unscrewing and manoeuvring everything), turning the system board upside down to get at the RAM slots. Then reverse the whole thing! Not so bad if like me you’ve upgrading the drive at the same time but a real faff to just get at the RAM (some later models have an access hatch).
Value for money depends on how much it costs at the time because RAM prices go up and down like a yo-yo! Of course, no ideal how long it will last but hopefully now for as long as Apple allow me to use it.

Mid 2012 MacBook Pro? Get this…
Received very quick. I don’t know much about the differences between Ram manufacturers, however. This was easily installed in less than 10 minutes. And my mid 2012 MacBook Pro which has been pretty much useless for the last few years. Is now able to process tasks relatively quickly. I couldn’t browse the internet before this upgrade. Now I can edit photos and scan pictures in pretty quickly. Boot up time still takes a while, although a new ssd would fix that in future. But all in all, very happy with how this product works so fa

Installed in my Mid-2012 MBP to go from 4GB to 16GB. I was slightly apprehensive having always used more expensive branded RAM in my Macs before, but the Timetec RAM is working a treat with no issues.

After doing some research on this memory, it was reported and found to work in other manufactures laptops and computers, hence my purchase for my Lenovo ideacentre. As long as you follow the specs as in DDR3 CL11 1600, 1.35-1.5volts you’re good to go ! So you’re maybe wondering why I purchased 2X8GIGS of memory made for MAC ? Well its a least 4 cheaper for the same memory, ‘thats not made for MAC’, ‘maybe some sort of marketing ploy’ The I’m made for MAC thing,. If anything I would of thought it would of been the other way around as in the MAC memory would of been more expensive,. The memory works great and is of good speed and steady voltages, I got this memory along with a 2nd hand Intel i74910MQ CPU, The improvement is superb and going from a i54200M with 8GIG of ram has made a massive improvement from a 2013 product, along with my Samsung 1TB SSD I reckon this upgrade will last me at least another 7 years, So only 60 for the memory and 100 for the CPU, a cheap way to keep things up to date on my now very fast ‘general use’ computer.

Absolutely turbo charged my 2012 Mac, Mac advise 8Gb of ram, but I went 16 and have been using the computer constantly for a few weeks with very strenuas tasks. Mixed with the SSD upgrade this is blindingly brilliant. It’s like a brand new computer, and is leaving my friends newer model in the dust.

So easy to install, just unplug from the back of the Mac, this reveals a push in button above the socket, push this in and the panel above pops off, lift the two tabs either side of the compartment, insert/ take out and replace other cards, push the RAM cards in firmly till you hear a click, push down on the tabs, and refit the panel, re connect the power lead, switch on and away you go, went from 16 to 32 RAM in under five minuets.
If you have like I do a late 2015 iMac, and you look under about this mac and it will say you need the 1600Mhz cards, some providers will tell you you need the 1867Mhz cards, either will do BUT if you have the 1600Mhz cards fitted you CANNOT put in the 1867Mhz as well, you need all the cards to be the same frequancy, you cannot mix and match. Luckily I was directed correctly or it could have been an expensive mistake.
I will defiantly use Timetec again.

I’ve had a mac mini server for several years with a large storage capacity which holds all my music and films. But I rarely used it because it was so slow. It came with 4gb of RAM which is woefully inadequate. Finally I had had enough of waiting 10 minutes for it to boot and constantly looking at the spinning wheel whenever i clicked on a application. I’m not overly tech savvy, so bit a bit of online research and spoke to a few people and all suggested in the first instance to upgrade the RAM. This machine takes 16gb RAM maximum and working on the assumption that one brand is as good as another, I looked around for the best priced 16gb upgrade. The TimeTec appeared to fit the bill at just over 60 for 2 x 8gb sticks. It arrived next day and following advice, I wore rubber surgical gloves to handle, remove and install the new RAM which was a very easy process. Then I switched on. BINGO! The Mac now runs as it should. Fully loads in less than 1 minute and loads applications without delay. Wish I had done it years ago. So in short, this memory seems to do the trick. Thank you Timetec!

Upgraded my 2013 iMac to 32 gb,this was super easy to do and went without a hitch. Restarted my mac and the new memory was recognised immediately without intervention. I cannot stress enough how much of an improvement this upgrade makes to performance. Much cheaper than going to apple direct too.

One thing I will say is make sure you have the correct screwdriver to take the back case off as for mine it’s a Phillips #00 but for the late 2012 retina model it’s different. Just check beforehand. I found one online for a couple of quid and once I had that the install was easy to do (about 5 mins)

I have a 27 inch 7 year old IMac that was becoming incredibly slow and un-responsive and despite several “factory resets ” the ridiculously named but appropriate “sbbod ” was a constant feature .
I am not an IT person in any way shape or form ..but a logical person .

I’m going to order 2 more to max out the RAM on my iMac which makes so much difference it’s unreal.
This is a very real review from a normally cynical and sceptical person ..to buy something that actually does what it’s meant to nowadays is a breath of fresh air.

Good value and service
Great service by Amazon. The RAM I bought is great value and, one week in, has given my late-2013 iMac a useful performance boost. It increased the memory from 8GB to 24GB and the iMac seems to start a little quicker and is generally snappier.
With different sized sticks of RAM (4GB & 8GB), note that to get best performance, install equal size sticks in slots 1 & 3 and 2 & 4.

After owning my late 2013 for almost 7 years it was finally time to upgrade the RAM to something more up to the task of 2020 applications.
The ram dimms came well protected in a plastic case and then an amazon box.
Installing the RAM took less than a five minutes on my 27 inch model – thanks to apple use of a hidden door on the back which grants access to the RAM cage – there are plenty of videos of installation should you need assistance.
I am using these two Timetec dimms in conjunction with my the two 4gb dimms provided by Apple. This has brought my iMac total ram up to 24gb (16gb + 8gb from Apple). This system is now tonnes faster and applications load more efficiently.
Don’t think that this cheaper Timetec brand is going to do any less than branded alternatives – The chips on the Timetec ram are genuine SK Hynix chips which is the same brand used by apple.
Highly recommend and an easy recommendation to anyone with an iMac.

Amazing difference in the performance of my iMac. I am not at all techy but this was super easy to install. Worked so well I ordered another one for my last spare memory slot.

Brought this to upgrade my Mid 2012 MacBook Pro from the base 4gb to 8gb, I had another set of ram sticks in my basket and this popped up in suggested and was cheaper after reading reviews decided to go with this one. Super easy to install just push in and go (make sure it’s pushed in enough), this paired with a new SSD and the laptop is performing as if it was new agai
