Great product great value and easy to install
Brought this to upgrade my Mid 2012 MacBook Pro from the base 4gb to 8gb, I had another set of ram sticks in my basket and this popped up in suggested and was cheaper after reading reviews decided to go with this one. Super easy to install just push in and go (make sure it’s pushed in enough), this paired with a new SSD and the laptop is performing as if it was new agai

My MacBook Pro13inch mid 2012 was running so slow I felt it was more like a display for the tumbling beach ball than a computer. After doing all the usual fixes suggested online, I found out that I could upgrade the Ram (it was running a 4GB ram before, 2x2GB). I am not tech savvy at all but the job seemed easy, so I gave it a go. once I ad the right screwdriver the job took me five minuets and boy what a difference!!!!!!! It was very easy to remove the old components and clip in the new 8GH of ram (4x4GB). The computer is running so fast and seems to be running like a new unit.

If you have anything up to a mid 2012 MacBook and it’s frustratingly slow and looks for any excuse to crash, do not despair. We were about to upgrade to a 16 GB Model or even switch to a Microsoft Surface at an eye watering 2k minimum and then I suddenly thought let’s look on Amazon and see if there is a memory ‘thing’ we can try. The first thing I learned from the reviews was that we were just inside the window for being able to upgrade the RAM ourselves. Second thing was to ignore the instructions on Apple website to only upgrade to 8 RAM. So we purchased two 8 GB cards. Husband earthed himself this morning as suggested and replaced our two 2 cards for the new ones. In other words we went from 4 GB RAM to 16 GB RAM. Restarted the machine and watched in astonishment as it rose from the near dead and leapt into action. Everything was loaded, including my 22,500 photos in a flash. Allowed me to perform some basic photo editing in seconds which would normally take half an hour and a load of bad language. In fact it’s now so fast it is waiting for me to tell it what to do next.
Joking apart I could not recommend this product higher and can confirm that you can easily do the job yourself and you can double up on what Apple says. And like previous reviewers you will be a lot of hard earned cash better off! Feels like a real victory!

Put this upgrade into my MacBook Pro 13inch , 2016 model. Install easy & MacBook is runs faster. Recommended Amazon seller. Next upgrade will be to change the hard drive to solid state drive to make it faster.

I wanted to upgrade my 2012 iMac to the full 32 MB memory configuration as I regularly edit 4k video whilst running other programmes. The Timetec upgrade was a reasonable price with good reviews, so I ordered it. Even during the Corinavirus slowdowns, the upgrade was delivered promptly. It was easy to install and worked flawlessly without fault with multiple programmes running. I’m very happy.

iMac 21.5 upgrade
Need more memory in a late 2013 iMac this will work if you are brave/mad enough. I did this and and SSD drive swap at the same time. It all still works but faster, there are lots of teardown videos to help. Make sure you boot it to check before you re seal the screen.

I bought this RAM to increase performance of my 2012 MacBook Pro. It does the job very well. Memory pressure in Activity Monitor fell from 50%-60% to about 10% base average load for standard tasks. There was a noticeable performance increase.

A product that does not disappoint. Does the job as it intended with my iMAC late 2014 model. Has started running faster. However over time it will start slowing down. That’s only due to the CPU being an older version. For those who have a newer model, would definitly recommend for the value.

Bought these for my Mac mini as it was having issues with Adobe Illustrator freezing in the middle of complex designs. It’s annoying that MAC RAM is dearer than PC RAM but this has boosted performance somewhat. It did help a wee bit on the Illustrator issues but in the end I had to get an iMac with a decent VRAM/Graphics Card as I could not be hooped with losing elements or massive projects reduced to an artboard of black and white ‘line art’. This RAM was the best priced I could find and I have no complaints.

If you are wanting to speed up an old Mac start with an ssd drive though, I found that gave the best result. The memory was only a small upgrade compared to the ssd which brought the machine to life

My 2013 Macbook Pro had been running increasingly slowly over the past few months since updating to the latest OS -Mojave. It became apparent that the 4MB of installed memory was inadequate to cope with newer software updates so I bit the bullet and ordered Timetec 16GB memory upgrade. Having read the instructions I found it easy to install and was up and running in about 15 minutes. I’m very pleased with the improvement in speed and my old laptop is back to it’s old self !

Arrived on Time and Fitting was easy
Was nervous about ordering this for my iMac, but need not have been. It arrived on time and was easy to fit and so far has seemed to make a difference, albeit slight, in the speed when various applications are open. The machine is now 5 years old and had slowed up, but there were 2 x 4 memory slots that I had not filled when I purchased the machine and hence this purchase. All of the technical details that Timetec mentioned, fitted what I needed and so far, so good. Good value for money as well.

I normally stick to memory from known brands (Crucial, Corsair and Kingston). Needed an upgrade for a 2012 iMac and the suitable Crucial model was hugely overpriced in my opinion. Took a chance on this (the iMac is not an easy computer to open) and having installed and used it for a month it has worked perfectly and given me no problems despite running memory intensive applications. Communication from the seller has been excellent also. A highly recommended product.
I normally stick to memory from known brands (Crucial, Corsair and Kingston). Needed an upgrade for a 2012 iMac and the suitable Crucial model was hugely overpriced in my opinion. Took a chance on this (the iMac is not an easy computer to open) and having installed and used it for a month it has worked perfectly and given me no problems despite running memory intensive applications. Communication from the seller has been excellent also. A highly recommended product.

A really good buy. My iMac was slowing and needed a RAM up-grade. The Timetec RAM chips were well worth the money. Very simple to fit (I watched several Youtube videos first).

Worth the money and stopped my old mid 2012 MacBook Pro from stressing out from using to many apps at once, so if you want to prolong the life of your MacBook etc….. I recommend buying this and it compatible with a lot of type of computers
Worked perfectly in a Mid 2012 MacBook Pro and a noticeable speed bump in apps. Definitely add an SSD to ensure longevity for the older laptop, too
