A present for my 6 month old grandson. He loves the colour red so this bus was ideal. He spends a lot of time playing with it.

I bought these as a stocking filler for my 15 month old. He absolutely loves them. Plays with them everyday and is very engaged with putting the shell together. For 8.99 definitely worth it .

I just don’t understand them, my little boy does hold them and try putting them in his mouth , my older boy had a go too, but all in all – they’re frustrating and pieces easily lost . They aren’t very interested in it.

Child loves it. Easy to play with, many variations of interest to the youngster. It’s robust, easy to keep clean & all the bits are contained when the lid is closed…..useful for travelling.

Sadly the box’s corner was squashed quite a bit but was a gift for a friend’s baby so no time to exchange. Otherwise a good product. Always been a fav amongst my family. Good sound and shape sorting fun.

We ought these when my daughter was 6 months old and they have been a resounding success! She loves taking them out of the box, putting the lids back on and tapping two lids together.
She is now 10 months and these are still a favourite toy.
The fact that there is opportunity for colour and shape matching means that these toys will e a fim favourite for a long time yet! They are great!!

Don’t be fooled by the low price compared to many other baby toys. This one is a winner and your kids will play with it. Cute faces, squeaky sounds, things to’destroy’, what’s not to love!

Some toys the baby can get bored of quite quickly but these seem to hold their interest for longer than most toys. Their good for traveling as they don’t take up too much room but it can sometimes be difficult to find all the pieces as they roll easily and can get lost under the sofa often.

Love this. Hasn’t changed in 23 years, now my grandson loves them as much as his mother did when she was a baby. Shape sorter, colour recognition, squeaker toys all in a handy case. Brilliant value for money with swift postage.

I’d heard about these eggs and how they’re enjoyed by children all over. Didn’t think they could be that good, I mean they’re just eggs right?! Wrong! They’re magic and keep my 7 month old entertained for an unreasonable amount of time! Perfect for traveling with too, I can see this being a firm favourite for some time!

We only had this for a couple of days but my eight month old seems to love it . Although he doesn’t really know what to do with them , he just smashes the eggs together but he is entertained for a good 15 minutes. I have a two and half year old cousin who also loves it.

Bought for our 16 month old Granddaughter to play with at our house. Needed something quite tactile for her little hands to play with and this is brilliant! The chicks are lightweight and each has a shape underneath , each one is a separate colour, and all make a little squeak when pressed quickly. She absolutely LOVES playing with these when ever she comes over. Highly recommend

Love this toy so much that I’ve bought it for a friend’s 1 year old.
My daughter has had this toy since she was baby and it’s still going strong 5 years later for our son to start playing with.
It really helped her learn colours, shapes, colour matching (the lids to the eggs), facial expressions, shape sorting etc. Now she’s older she likes to arrange them in rainbow order and plays with them like real eggs in her kitchen (tapping them and splitting open the lid like a real eggshell, so imaginative play too). It’s endless fun.
Bright, pretty rainbow colours and the little squeaks are cute.
And I just noticed you can also buy the bus, plane and tractor for them which I’m definitely doing to get.
    Love these eggs

Perfect all rounder toy for many years

I bought when my son was 6 months because of the review.
I got it and thought its such a rubbish toy and how would he ever use this and there are so many pieces.

At around 8/9 months it became his favourite toy he puts the shells on and off. Babies love peekaboo toys and he loved it so much that I bought him another version of the eggs.
He still loves it at 11 months old

Only downside is there are so many pieces, very easy to lose. Lost a couple pieces already

Fabulous product. Great value. Bought it for a 1 year old boy as an Easter present, but his 3 year old sister loves to play with it too. Very well made. Cheerful attractive colours. Teaches shapes and colours as well as making sounds. We also play mimicking the faces on the eggs. i would definitely recommend this product.

I purchased it for 6 months old baby (by then) and he loved it ever since. He’s 9 months old now and I can see how he is growing with this toy / game.

My child loves these. They were an Easter present at 6 months old and they are now his favourite toys. He gets hours of fun out of them, so I can’t recommend them enough.

A previous review mentioned that the top got stuck in a child’s mouth. They’re well chewed on here but there’s no danger of them fitting into his mouth, so please don’t let that put you off.

They’re really well made, appealing toys. These eggs are undoubtedly the best toy purchase that I have made.

My son is maybe a little too young for these still, but they were an Easter present. The faces aren’t the most appealing I’d say, my nephew said they looked a little scary. My son loves the colours although he hasn’t got the hand of holding these brilliantly yet. They all make very similar if not the same squeak so would of been nice if they were different, but I’m sure they’ll be a huge hit once he’s older!

My 8 month old absolutely loves these, she’s had them for a few months now and they get played with everyday. She mainly just bashes them about at the moment but she likes the sound it makes.
These are one of my favourite toys for her, they have shapes on the bottom that fit into the tray, so they can match the shapes. They have colours on the faces on the shells to match the yolk which will teach them to match the colours and they have emotive faces so you can go through emotions with them. And they squeak.
    They are brilliant.
I just dislike putting them away at the end of the day as I find little eggs and shells all over the place.

  42. CandaceCortes says:

     United Kingdom

My daughter loves them, although they do go missing quite frequently as she takes them out and likes playing with them rather than sorting the shapes or colours. The external colours are not obvious enough to match with the internal colours. Bright and eye catchingly attractive however!

My niece loves these…well, banging them together in the case and making a loud rattling sound with them. The squeak is barely audible so that was a little bit disappointing. The sorting aspect is a bit complex for her at 7 months, and the colours on the exterior of the eggs are a bit subtle but I’m sure she’ll figure it out eventually!

I brought this based on other reviews for our 1yr olds birthday. When I opened I was disappointed there was no batteries and the noise wasn’t v loud, however she loves them! Gets them in and out of the box and closes the lid and bashes them to make noises and our oldest uses them as play food too!! So very pleased with them and would recommend them. It’s also good that you don’t have any batteries to replace all the time too!

My nephew is almost 5 months and loves this toy. Nothing complicated, easy for him to bash and makes a non-irritating noise – enough for him to realise when he hits an egg it makes a sound. Very simple design, but effective. Keeps him quiet and I thought a good Easter gift as he can’t eat chocolate yet.

I only bought these eggs because they were coming as a suggestion everytime I was buying something for my baby girl, so I decided to go for it and finally buy them. Aaaaand OMG she absolutely loves them….. They are always all over the floor. They are small enough for her to hold and explore. I can def say she will grow with them as it focuses on shapes, colours, emotions, order and many more. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made for my girl.

So many ways to play with this lovely toy, at 1 she didn’t understand the sorting but a few months on she’s learning to put the tops on and put them in the boxes (not the right holes yet).
Lovely toy to play with together.

I gave this to my 8 month old and he likes playing with it. He hasn’t gone for the TV remote or my phone since he got the eggs.
Lovely bright colours, easy for little hands to hold, and helps them develop their motor skills as well as adding an element of hiding /finding.
I love the little “egg carton” it comes in too, making it easy to tidy up or, transport and take to grandparents houses etc. As with most of the toys that seem to be a success in our house, no batteries included, no irritating songs telling you to count or press or dance or whatever.
I can see this being one of those classic toys that kids of this generation will remember in the future as part of their childhood.
Price wise, I thought it was in line with what is expect of a good quality toy.
I read one of the negative reviews about a child fitting the eggshell in their mouth. It seems quite large to do so – about the same size as the smallest stacking cup we have – but at any rate it has a tiny hole in the top for safety.

They are bright and colourful and she will be able to get use out of them the older she gets. She’s now able to put the eggs together and put them back ok the box, soon we will be able to use them to identify colours and shapes. Bought this when my baby was cca 6 months old, for months he was mainly using it to flip all the eggs out, throw them around the room and chewing on the eggshells.

He is now over 1 year and is slowly starting to play with this in a better manner, he is taking the eggs out one by one and putting them back in.

Easy to clean, nice and colourful, the squeaking is cute, would recommend.

This was a last minute purchase for My Grandaughter Summer to pop in Her Christmas stocking. How delighted was I when this, amongst multitudes of expensive and wonderful gifts, they proved to be her absolute fascination. well made, colourful, and just the right sounds and size for small hands and imagination. The adults were eager to play too…in fact Her Daddy had the “Weebles Airport” toy well over forty Years ago of which one ‘plane and its pilot and passenger remain. These were not better but certainly equal in every aspect of the originals and I’m sure they will last at least half as long. Brilliant. Thank You.

I bought these after reading reviews that said they were a “go to” toy. My little one didn’t really bother with toys but it was worth a try. He LOVES these and spends ages playing with them. He’s only 9 months old so he can’t work them properly yet but he still gets a lot of enjoyment from the box and the pieces.

This toy is suitable for a wide age range. The box is extremely sturdy and the pieces are chunky for little hands, perfect for babies.bits lightweight, despite the plastic being a good thickness. Each egg has a different shaped bottom which fits into a particular part of the base for when they’re a little older. The egg tops are colour coded but fit all the different eggs so can be colour coded as they learn. My little one spends a long time banging the egg shell pieces together, they’ve been very durable so far. He also uses them as teething toys, they’ve had a right good chew on many occasions.

The only negative I have is on a personal level. I’m the one who has to pick it up and put it back together at the end of each day. I’ve got to pretend that it’s not satisfying putting all the pieces in the right place, lining up the faces so they all face forward and sitting my nice, neat box to the side ready for the next play session.

Absolutely love these eggs. Had some for my son, Then got some for my daughter and some as a gift as we like them that much. They go from baby to toddler – Small babies love holding the eggs and pressing them up and down, and then as they get older putting the shells on the eggs and eventually matching up the shapes. If you have a child who loves putting things into boxes they will love these. Also can be used as part of a play kitchen. Really nice all rounder.

I bought this toy for my 22-month-old niece, but his 3.5-year-old brother loves it too. The younger enjoys scattering the eggs’ parts on the floor and putting them back together in the box; the older is more interested in matching the shapes, the colours and the expressions/moods of each egg. I thought they’d get bored quickly, but months have passed and this is still one of their favourite toys. Only down-side is that they are made of plastic; they should make them in a recyclable material.

    WORTH EVERY PENNY!
    EVERY PARENT SHOULD BUT THESE!!!
My daughter had these from 3 months old and at 12months is still playing with them!
She loves playing with/chewing the yellow egg box, we spin the egg halves on our wooden floors, she claps the eggs together, she puts them in and out of the box, she’s now starting to pair up the eggs and shells AND she still has more to learn (matching shaped bases and colour of eggs)!
I cannot believe how much entertainment she’s had from this one toy! BUY IT NOW!!!
Sturdy, versatile and durable beyond measure! Not even a crack or bend after 9months of daily, rough use!

They make egg like sounds when they’re bashed together and the eggs are squeezable. Very easy to clean.

Literally cannot recommend these enough (such an unusual toy- who knew!)

My little boy is obsessed with these eggs. He didn’t pay with them much when he was younger but now he loves them! He’s 15 months now and Its the first thing he picks up to play with in the mornings. I also enjoy matching the faces now and again.

Great toy which teach toddlers colours and shapes..

.That said it could be bit better made – couple of the eggs are not as squeaky as the rest.
In addition – it would be better if each eggshell would fit individual eggs but instead it doesn’t matter where they are allocated – they will fit regardless which would increase the whole teaching kids how to fit shapes / colours.

My grandson really loves them so glad I bought them. He is only six months old and they will last till he’s 18 months at least, a proper learning toy

What a great little gem of a toy. The eggs are very light and fit perfectly into babies hands. She loves banging them together and sucking at them. They don’t squeek as much as I would’ve expected but it doesn’t change the fact that her face lights up whenever I put the ‘egg carton’ in front of her. I purchased them when she was 6 months old and now at nearly 11 months she still plays with them.

My son is almost 2 years old and has suspected autism. He loves placing objects inside of other things and shaking them and this was the perfect toy for him. It is great to see him really concentrating on taking them apart and putting them all together again – he can spend 30 mins plus happily just doing this. Would absolutely recommend for any children aged 18-36mo. They can tolerate a good throwing around too!
