The product came today I’m very happy with this system the sound quality is amazing. it’s the BEST system had since my old one. I have pulled mine into my echo dot and works great.

Great product for it’s price. Unless you do music professionally and are ready to spend thousands on high quality speakers. This does all the work you’d need! Great sound!

It’s a great system for the price you pay.
The sound is fine and I like the remote control.
Positives are the sound is every bit as good possibly a little better. The speaker’s design is nice but they are made of plastic it. The bass of the Sub-Woofer is good enough for my needs. I keep my Sub-Woofer under my desk I can’t easily use any of the buttons and have to rely on the remote.
Another slight annoyance, but probably a regulation these days, is that I can’t find a way to stop the speakers going into sleep mode after a period of time.
Finally, for me miss a headphone socket in one of the front speakers

With a better user guide and improved cable build (too short) quality I’d have given it 5 stars, but as it is I think 4 is appropriate.
Highly recommend these speakers good sound quality and amazing bass with full control over sound settings

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe sound is fine and I like the remote control but, somewhat annoyingly because of the fiddling it took, the colours on the centre speaker/woofer cable had to be reversed into the woofer to get the sound to go to the right channels, i.e, white goes into red and vis versa. I’ve still given it four stars because the price is right (although I hope that doesn’t translate into problems later).

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersRealtek drivers totally fubard my computer at 1st, had to reinstall Windows and all, but afterwards worked beautifully. Gave 5 star as realtek is not their fault.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersMy word, this was an adventure…

The box arrived and I was all “Whoah!” It’s not massive, but it’s not small either., but it’s enough to make you go “Whoah!”…

The best way I can describe its size would be, if you took two boxes of half its size and put them together, you’d have the size of the box that turned up.

Anyway, laying it down neatly and slicing the top open is always amazing when the box is of a reasonable size (see above), pulling the box wings aside and gently removing stuff was possibly one of the most therapeutic things I’ve ever done.

Issues abound, of course, when connecting to the PC itself (3.5mm jacks)…

You’re going to have a different experience depending on what hardware drivers you’ve got running; and likely extra issues regardless (because despite Windows’ trying to help, they continually make things worse and never clean up after themselves).

When I first tried to plug everything in it went well until I connected the surround speakers, they were picked up as Rear, which is only available on 7.1 systems…

Getting Windows to work properly with 5.1 was several hours of annoyance, but believe me when I say that it’s completely worth it!

I had a day where I just tested the sound via music player and it’s LOUD, CLEAR, and WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe sound system is great for what I wanted it for music and gaming. But one thing I don’t like is how the quality changes as I lower the volume meaning the sound has to be high to get the best out of it. But it is well worth the price. It more likely
I need to adjust things better.

This sound system has contributed nicely to our little home cinema and even sounds like a cinema now. Highly recommend these speakers good sound quality and amazing bass with full control over sound settings

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI bought these speakers as a replacement for my Creative T6100 5.1 speakers that I had owned for over 14 years but which had alas developed a fault.

The positives are the sound is every bit as good possibly a little better. The speakers design is nice but they are made of plastic and look it. The bass of the Sub-Woofer is good enough for my needs (too much base and I get a shout from my wife in the kitchen below!).

The remote is very unimpressive but functions perfectly well. I do have my doubts as to how long it will endure as it seems rather insubstantial.

I like the stereo input in addition to the 5.1 inputs and that the remote allows me to switch between the two with ease.

There are a few little things I wish were different. Because I keep my Sub-Woofer under my desk I can’t easily use any of the buttons and have to rely on the remote. However, there are no lights telling me what settings I have selected and sometimes it takes a bit of investigation to work out if I am actually listening in 5.1 or not. I know this sounds ridiculous but depending on the source it isn’t always that obvious.

Another slight annoyance, but probably a regulation these days, is that I can’t find a way to stop the speakers going into sleep mode after a period of time. Like some people have commented, this means you might miss a system notification sound. This is not that serious as I get visual clues on my PC screen as well but it is still irritating that when I think I am having problems with a website not playing sound it’s simply because the speakers have turned themselves off!

Consequently, even though I personally don’t like flashing lights when I listen to music, I keep the Sub-Woofer light on simply so I know for certain the speakers are still on. As it is under my desk I don’t see any flashing light but a quick glance under the desk confirms the speakers haven’t switched themselves off again!

Finally, my T6100s had a headphone socket in one of the front speakers which was very useful and also a main volume control for adjusting (or turning off the speakers completely) the overall sound level which was handy if I wanted to quickly turn down the speakers. There is a mute button on the new remote but it just doesn’t seem as convenient.

So despite one or two minor irritations I am more than happy that these speakers are a good replacement for my trustworthy T6100s.

overall very good. The quality is good but it’s not the best (7/10). Sound is very good. Over all its amazing for the price you pay. If you want to buy a 5.1 Sound for your home that is not over powered and cheep then this is the best thing.

Decent but if kit and not bad quality! Although I understand this isn’t the sellers issue, but the kit could do with an RGB ring which could easily be configured rather than a static blue color! But all in all, worth a buy!

The sound quality on this is amazing although I have had to turn the bass off totally as even on its lowest setting the house vibrates.

The only downside to this is that after a few months of owning the blue ring light flickers or doesnt come on at all. Other than that its amazing

Unfortunate after setting this up (which took a while as my PC didnt have the same output as their video example showed) after a while of trying to get things wired up and moving things around etc, i noticed i scratched the sub-woofer some how and its very noticeable. My own fault though.

It’s a great system for the price you pay.
My only complaint is the lack of complete bass shut off, because even at minimal settings it still blasts quite a lot.
Having neighbors downstairs I really appreciate the systems that allow complete bass shut off.
Other than that, maybe a bit longer chord for Left and Right surround speakers incase people want to wall mount behind themselves and not have the cables dangling.

All in all, it’s a great system definitely has the bang for the buck.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAwesome. Thats the only word that I can think of to describe these speakers.
After a bit of fiddling trying to get the correct speakers to produce sound, (the connectors were coloured differently to my PC).
The sound quality is awesome and the volume levels shake my floor, the remote is really handy as you can set individual levels and the ability to switch from stereo to 5.1 surround sound with the press of a button is great, the blue pulsing light is an added bonus which can be turned off at the press of another button.
I can highly recommend this set up for gamers and music lovers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome

With the help of an aoeyoo 5.1 audio rush digital sound decoder converter, I have full 5.1 with optical. Tried to test with YouTube which led me to discover that YouTube only outputs stereo sound no matter what the stream says. Loaded a private match on modern warefare with a loadout of decoy granades and yes, I can hear where they are. I can now hear if someone is trying to sneak up on me.
As some advice to people wanting to connect optically use the dts or dolby bitstream options, you will only get stereo with linear PCM, that format is lossless and the optical cable cannot do higher than lossless stereo.

Would have been better if the speaker wires were longer as surround sound is supposed to be around you so will have to try and get some extension cables but apart from that it is pretty spot o

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersFirst order was a nightmare getting to me, but that was Amazon’s incompetent delivery drivers fault, not the manufacturer. It took I think 10 days for a next day delivery that kept delaying and failing delivery attempts. It was faulty, so got a replacement. Yeah that sucks but it happens and won’t fault them for that.

Second order was screwed up for the same reasons of the delivery drivers being stupid. They took forever to get to me and then when they were minutes away they somehow damaged the speakers!

So here comes order number three… I know, sounds bad, but when I finally got a good set of speakers they work great! Was literally a matter of unboxing, place down, plug in via good instructions, configure sound setting to 5.1 surround and designate which speaker is what… and you’re done! The remote is nice, but for some reason you can adjust every speaker except for the side ones! So I can do centre, subwoofer and surround, but I can’t do the side speakers’ volume… really guys??? Also, the subwoofer is awesome with it’s flashing lights to bass and quality, but it is annoying that I cannot switch it off. I am a considerate neighbour so I turn the sound down, but sadly the thing that goes through the thin walls the most I cannot turn off fully. Don’t get me wrong it all works great, but I prefer that control and think it is silly it isn’t there.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersThis set of speakers are amazing for its price. It can go very loud especially when it is plugged into my computer. The great thing about these speakers is that you can use it on your phone as well. The cable lengths of each speaker are actually very long which is not what I expected.
I don’t have a sound card on my computer I just use the ones that came with my graphics card and it still works. I just use the Green and one of the black cables instead of the full four. From what I hear I am sure that it works the same 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this for my man cave mainly use it for watching tv. Films and football sound absolutely brilliant. There’s no issues with sound at all the volume goes very high indeed. I even use it to listen to music from my pc too which to me has perfect crystal clear sound. My only dislike is the rear speaker cables could do to be a little longer but I’ve fixed that by buying extension cable from amazon. Overall very happy would highly recommend this product.

Sound is good for Xbox one x? Cables two short (if I lived in a hut they would be perfect).
Over all,I should have stayed with my 2.1,at least I could manage where my sound came from.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOverall I’m pleased with the GXT 658 system.
It can be turned up quite loud with impressive results gaming with sound via a Sound Blaster-Z card. It was easy to install with long cables on the rear speakers.
The user manual is very minimal with very poor explanations for anything.
Mine has a wiring fault on the Orange centre/subwoofer cable that connects to the Sound Blaster Z card in the PC, basically the red and white connectors are reversed. Easy to overcome, just plug red into white and vice-versa on the back of the subwoofer. I’m currently discussing the issue with Trust support folks.
Be sure to run the speaker connectivity tests in your sound card app or Windows.
Sound quality seems excellent for gaming and general use, not the best for music but acceptable.
With a better user guide and improved cable build quality I’d have given it 5 stars, but as it is I think 4 is appropriate.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOnly had these speakers setup for a few days and i am already greatly impressed by the performance.

The speakers all have nice long wires so you can more or less set them up wherever you want. The audio quality is really good and there is nice sounding deep bass which you can also control with the included remote.

If you are looking for great audio at a great price then i highly recommend these.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThese finally arrived after purchasing them through a lightning sale. I confess that I was extremely surprised at the size of the box when it arrived. This is a large set of speakers and the primary speaker in the centre is about as big as you might imagine from the product photograph. What attracted to me to this set was the claim on of 180 watts. I like to listen to music, various types of music, and computer speakers in general just don’t cut it. I’ve had a set of trust speakers before and while they were excellent for gaming and movies, they lacked something when playing music. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it just didn’t sound right. Not full enough perhaps. Plus of course, when I’m in the mood I like to listen to loud music, and this is where computer speakers fail the most, they buzz, vibrate, hum and generally distort at high volumes. So, I admit to a certain amount of skepticism when purchasing these.

I cannot verify if these are 180 watts, as I have no real way to measure it, but these go to quite a volume range and manage to maintain integrity quite well. Less vibration or hum and rumble than any computer speakers I’ve tried before. Not perfect, but then these aren’t high end music speakers, so I can forgive them for that. Really great running the x-box through these, the sound is almost perfect, and a good surround system for horror survival games on a dark night. Running my usual music choices through this was pleasurable, they reproduce well and maintain sound without electronic intrusion. So far so good.

If you are looking to buy these, it is worth noting that they are excellent gaming speakers, I’m very impressed with them for that. If you are a music aficionado, you may want to invest in some real speakers for your hifi, this is not going to hit that level of reproduction. For general use, entertainment, loud noise, these are absolutely perfect, and they can make a LOT of noise.

Overall I’m pleased with them, they are definitely the best computer speakers I’ve had and they do everything I want from a decent set of computer speakers. They even reproduce well watching movies – horror and sci-fi night will be fun again…

In summary. Bigger than I expected, better than I expected and loud. I may already have mentioned that, but it’s worth noting. They are loud. If you live in a flat, or terrace, keep the volume down or you might really annoy your neighbours.
