The first one delivered did not steam, however although it was a bit of a hassle, but Vax changed it by return, and up to press I am very pleased. I like the scrubber head for hard stains.
Brilliant for floors and tiles. Easy to use. Bathroom and kitchen wall tiles, ok gets them clean, easier to spray and wipe. Other attachments I found don’t really make any difference. Probably only be use for floors, excellent.
My first Vax was faulty and came without a filter essential to it working correctly. It took some time to get it replaced and the first filters suggested were not correct.
Replacement is fine and works well.
Delighted with this Vax steam mop which our cleaner recommended. It just works and is very versatile for the money and good value. We’ve had it a few weeks and it’s been a boom on our solid and laminate floors and doesn’t streak like an ordinary mop.
It’s very versatile as you can detach it for doing many other steam cleaning jobs which some of the more fancy units cannot do. We use it with and without the Vax detergent (for pets) which is half the price for 1 litre.
Heavier than my last vac cleaner to use but still pleased with how it cleans my floors and carpet.
The 2 reserviors for water and detergent are considerably smaller than the older Vax I replaced. I find this one is ideal for spot cleaning or rugs. Fully floored/carpeted room, you are continually refilling. The actual cleaning performance is on a par with the older model.
I am happy with the product itself and the customer service, it does however take up to an hour to get through on the support line and you have to have registered your product online with the receipt, inside leg measurement, mothers maiden name and cats birthday before you can join the telephone queue. I’ve always loved Vax for their product quality and unrivalled customer service so will stick with them for hard floor and carpet cleaning tools. When the company started Vax were offering 4 year guarantees on all their equipment when most companies were loathe to offer 1 year so they must have had faith in them, however over time the product quality and warranties have fallen back a little and I’m disappointed that the now rather jaded excuse of ‘it’s taking a long time to get someone to speak to you because it’s Covid’ is still affecting telephone wait times. 2 years ago it may have affected wait times but sufficient time has passed now to get the technology and staffing levels / knowledge right in my opinion.

Loved my old vax so bought this new one as a replacement – it’s superb and as I use my mop everyday happy to pay for the quality.

Love the easy fill system and setting up,a very long cable. And it cleaned the various floors with ease. The water lasted quite a bit longer to previous steam cleaners that I have used. Use it all the time.
Not to happy with the detergent side of it doesn’t even really get any through still at same level that I’ve put in when I’m finished no scent of it eithe

So far I love this steam cleaner. Lots of steam but seems to dry quickly. Lovely long cable. Like the fact there’s a detergent dispenser too. Slightly heavier to push around than my old one, but not a problem. So far I’m very happy.

This steam mop is fabulous. I have tiled floors throughout my bungalow and the grout in them had got very dirty . Since getting the steam mop I was able to get them like new with the hand held part and using one of the little tools to came with it . I think it is amazing
Lots of attachments, but the best thing it does is clean hard flooring. Much easier than a mop and bucket. Dries quickly too. I wasn’t so impressed with it on carpets as it just steams them rather than takes away dirt. Grout and mirror or window tools not that brilliant. But have successfully used the wire brush to clean the oven door.
I am glad I bought this. Even tho it does mean you have to find yet another place to store it whilst you aren’t using.
Love this mop. Bought it for my downstairs tiles and it works great. Heats up in seconds and the cable is really long.

I know the shortcomings, which aren’t many, cccompared to other makes this seems no different.
Really excellent floor cleaning – especially with detergent – and carpet refreshing on low pile, heavy dog use rugs. Easy to use but you need to go slowly with it – more so than a standard floor mop. Have used the upholstery which is also good for a refresh but DON’T use on velvet or similar fabrics. Have tried windows but with limited success so far – may be technique.
Brilliant this. Love it. Easy to use, sturdy build quality, not the lightest thing ever but then the weight is reassuring and does help it to do the job it was designed for. I would highly recommend it.
I really like this product. I bought it for general cleaning and to freshen up the house a bit.
I could not recommend this product enough. It is fantastic for everyday use especially if you have pets. A quick whizz round will not only clean the floor/ kitchen surfaces, but it kills all the germs as well. I also like that you can put it on the carpets / rugs and freshen them up.
Works really well on upholstery/windows/shower screen/ kitchen too. A great cleane
I absolutely love this product , I am a full time wheelchair user and some products can be cumbersome but not this, I’m able to give m bathroom and kitchen a really deep clean. I have PTS ( cat and 2 dogs) this steamer keeps my home lean and fresh . It is so easy to use , I can’t recommend it enough 10/10
Great machine, can control steam output, love the addition of the detergent tank as I can use product to leave a clean fresh scent in my home. Great amount of cleaning tools included which all fit into the design on the back of the unit, cable is also a good length

Super easy to use heats up within seconds and steaks for about 15 mins before needing to top up is not the lightest of weights but is manageable the included attachments are great have used this all over the house it works a treat to clean without using any chemicals just hope the water filter lasts a long time.
Really like it and does what it should do, although the water and detergent tanks need refilling more often than the older version this was brought to replace.

Great for cleaning our tiled floors I was worried it would leave them to wet but this has not been a problem. The water container is easy to fill up and seems to last ages.
Have also used it on the shower and cleaned the tiles and screen and it looks like new again.
Found it a bit heavy but done a good clean.

Arrived quickly. Unit works very well for steaming my kitchen floor. Storage for the little tools on the back of the steam mop a good idea but they fall out whilst using the machine so will just keep them in the bag. All in all a good machine for the price I paid, wouldn’t pay the full price though as it’s a little heavy and seems plasticky more than some machines. I like the idea of the scrubbing brush for harder stains

My home is sparkling clean. Use it correctly, if not handle may break as some people complaining.
It’s a bit awkward to use the tools as the pipe was stiff and not easy to rotate the heads.

Had this unit for sometime now approx 1 year or so ,excellent all rounder ,use it every day in kitchen/dining/day room which is floor tiled principally for two small dogs wet paws etc.This is the second vax unit I have bought and so far it has performed as expected .Find the coral mopheads give best results .
2 mops included. not necessary to buy extra. unfortunately i bought by reading previous comments. otherwise it’s a very nice product. we are using it to clean the grill.
My mum has gone through a few steam mops, so i recommended a Vax. She chose this one from the range and was amazed at the great price on Amazon.

A nice machine what’s different for me is you have to push a switch and keep holding it for steam. I have used it with bad detergent on carpets and works well, you get 10-15 minutesvonyial steam in tanks start as full
I haven’t used the handheld steamer much, but it was easy to use and made quick work of windows and the tracks where dust tends to accumulate.
Excellent machine and a life saver
Not only does it clean very well but it gets paint off floor tiles both emulsion and oil based which saved my life as the tiled floor had just been laid and the wife was going crazy at me for getting paint on her newly tiled floor
