Do I need to dilute the paint when spraying with an HVLP paint sprayer?
Diluting may be necessary on smooth surfaces and for viscous, gel-like materials. Mixing with water is also recommended if the atomisation is too coarse or the volume of paint is too low (even on the maximum setting).
How do I prepare the working area correctly when spraying with interior wall paint?
Cover all surfaces and objects that are not to be sprayed or remove them from the working area.

Are there any tips and tricks for achieving a perfect spray finish?
We recommend spraying in a vertical spray direction. Move the device at a constant distance of 10-30 cm and at a constant speed. Make sure that the spray overlaps the previous spray slightly in order to achieve a uniform paint coverage.
How do I prepare the substrate for a perfect coating?
In order to achieve the optimal coating of surfaces, they must be clean. All dirt, dust, oil, water, etc. should be removed.
How do I spray a room?
Work away from the light. Start with the ceiling. Then do the window recesses and the corners and edges of the area that you want to spray. Next, spray the area with a spray jet adjusted to suit your preferred working direction.

I used this with water-based emulsion on doors and also with solvent wood preserver – worked well with both. They also had differing consistencies which the sprayer coped with. For large fences and sheds it is brilliant. I sprayed a shed wall in a few minutes rather than about 30 minutes with a brush. So fences, walls and ceilings would be great. It runs at quite a high flow rate and this is difficult to reduce – maybe I need more experience. As such I would be wary of say small objects or a picket fence as might waste a lot and also paint things you don’t want to! It does say it is Wall & Ceiling… All in all I am pleasantly surprised with this my first sprayer and it did the jobs I wanted very well. I also bought an additional bottle and cap. Pleased with it. Cleaning was not as bad as I thought it would be too.
Have had sprayers before and have been disappointed, as they used too much paint; wasted too much paint, through overspray and leaks; also a right royal PITA to clean.
As a result was a bit wary of this one. However, am very pleased to say it is a great bit of kit; a lot simpler to use and clean then other reviews would suggest and set-up for spraying is just as easy. I bought primarily for painting around 100m of fencing and a large timber clad shed. Needless to say it took a fraction of the time it would have by brush and the finish was excellent – even and consistent, really pleased with it. Am so pleased that I am now looking for other projects to use it on – even offering to do my neighbour’s fence!
If you have any doubts don’t – it’s a great bit of kit, go on get it!!
Have used for spraying external walls with suitable extreme climatic paint very successfully.
Very good product. Gets heavy with a paint container so painting a ceiling is not for the faint hearted. Different paints have different densities and therefore the flow adjustments to be made are massive but the gun handles that well. I painted a ceiling with a Woodie’s Paint at flow level 8, very thick paint, without dilution but to apply a Dulux on the wall I had to go down to 3 and do it very fast otherwise the would start running. Don’t thing you’ll have to do is to cover everything and apply mask tape and cover sheet everywhere such as in the ceiling for painting the walls. Once done that, I’ve painted a large room in under 30 minutes. Leave it very clean after use as per recommendations so you don’t have problems for the next use.
Why i had to reach such an old age not knowing there was such a wonderful.product available is a mystery to me , simple to use , simple to operate & simple to clean . Probably my best DIY purchase ever .
