All other reviews created a realistic expectation of this produc
I thought that the weather would be getting warm but I caved because I couldn’t deal with the cold and bought this heater.
To be honest, I read quite a lot of reviews before buying this and I can conclusively say that they all created an extremely realistic expectation of this product. It is very light and pretty easy to position – I will say the cord is thicker than I thought and not so flexible, but that could also be a good thing because that means the cord is less susceptible to bending and the wire breaking.
When you first turn it on there is a bit of a plastic smell that comes out – this is a cheap heater afterall – but it goes away after about two minutes or so. It did make me uneasy so, as other reviews suggested, I don’t really leave the heater on for too long or unaccompanied for too long. I mainly use it to warm my blankets by creating a little heat kind of tent and point the fan in.
I like that the heater can be laid flat or upright, which directs the heatflow kind of differently. It is quite warm, unexpectedly, for the price. It’s not a radiating heat, I will say, it’s definitely a fan. So the heat is a bit dry and doesn’t feel very lasting if that makes sense.
The different temperature dials is also useful, but I personally haven’t noticed a difference on the hottest setting or the lowest hot setting because it all tends to be quite warm.
Does the trick if you want to heat up your desk area/seat area/bedroom, but it’s definitely not for open spaces or drafty spaces.

It’s about luck I guess, bought 3, one was damaged and set the fire alarm off, emanated a smoky smell. The working ones are amazing, they heat up the whole room, I know it looks little, but it sure does its job.
AMAZING WARMTH FROM SUCH A SMALL UNIT
Ordered as a stopgap after my old bathroom wall heater gave up the ghost in my even older flat just to provide some background warmth!
Can’t say I was expecting much from a tiny unit but I’m genuinely pleasantly surprised at what he build quality and how hot it blows!
With two settings, a cool fan or an adjustable fan heater, it does a superb job all round.
And for less than 15 quid, it’s a bargain too!

Ok not great!
It warms up the room eventually, but it blows hot air then cold air when in use no settings to stop it.. so even when room is still cold it’s blowing cold air at you while this is good for safety reasons, it just takes a bit longer than other heaters I’ve used.
Very good at heating small spaces, if a little noisy. It works pretty well to take the chill out of the air in a small room within a few minutes on a fairly low setting. It’s small and easy to tuck away. It actually fits on my nightstand without issue. Because it’s fan based on terms of heat output it does put the heat out into the room instead of just letting it radiate.
That said, it’s a greedy little thing when it comes to your electricity. Six hours of this thing on its low output setting cost me nearly four pounds. It is good enough at putting heat out that turning it on for ten minutes while you get dressed, or just having it on for half an hour after you’ve had a shower is a viable way to use it, but it is far and away not the cheapest way to heat a space. I would suggest confining its use to small rooms for short periods, because if you have the money to pay the electricity bill for this thing, you probably have better heating options available.

Will heat up medium size room real toasty. Only it got 4 stars instead of 5 was that it’s auto restart stopped working along time ago. Other than that it does a great job as a heater.

Good value
The fan heater is working well so far, it has 2 heat settings and a fan only setting, the build quality is a bit cheap feeling and the heater is very light in weight, when you look into the fan through the front grill, there isn’t much in the housing and very basic looking, I haven’t had any issues with heater so far, there’s no overheating or signs of it being unsafe, only time will tell on the life span of the heater, I would recommend the heater.
A good purchase
Purchased for the early mornings prior to the GCH kicking in when I am on a real earlier start.

Terrific heater but not for me
This is a great heater and it blows hot almost immediately, compact, movable – superb.
However, it is not for me as it dries the air out (all heating except infrared one’s do this) and i have asthma.
Easy to use
So a very simple heater that doesn’t really use a lot of electric I bought mine for a cabin in the boat and it was lovely warm in about 10 minutes also it has a nice safety feature that if it does get knocked over it switches itself off and it has a thermostat with two settings of heat nice compact well-made you can stand it up all lay It down definitely worth the money
This fan heater is very warm, it does not take long to heat up the room. Our room is a reasonable sized lounge. It is not too noisy, you can adjust the heat, it is easy to move about, not too heavy, and made of a durable plastic, so easy to clean and dust.
This device heats my room quickly for its size. Compared to others I have, it’s more powerful as per the heating output. But the major flaw is the thermostat that isn’t working as it should. It has to be turned off manually or it just keeps going.

Indestructible and HOT! The right kind
I bought this because it was the highest rated device on Amazon, I got butter hands and I drop and drop everything which means in the end I break everything.
Well, it’s survived me and my butter hands, and for a couple of years it blew really nice and the exact warmth needed (which is warm warm because I’m a spoiled weakling that will get cold). Then I broke, and I was thinking boy what a warrior! My brother had a different heating fan he borrowed me. He also has one of those electric heating units.
That’s when I realised how spoiled I was with my focal fan that reaches exactly where I want it and will not just turn off because it cannot handle its sown heat.
So here I am, buying another one, first for the summer but looking forward to the winter time.
Who needs a whole room warm when you can get this to blow on your face.

Timer is nonsense.
The timer is non-functional, it just acts as another switch to turn it off/on at whatever setting you have it on without needing to turn that actual dial, other than that great wee heater, helps me heat my attic room in no time.

Provides good heat, and is quiet!
Produces a good amount of heat. The only con: the thermostat works manually (turns the heater on and off), but so far the heater hasn’t reacted to a room temperature change (+/- 5) as normally expected.
But not really a problem for me, considering the price of the unit.

Great little fan heate
Had one of these fan heaters at home for over two years now and it’s excellent for the money. Just bought two more for work.
Easy to use, lightweight and good value for money
Goods arrived quickly, easy to use and lightweight and value for money . It heat’s up very quickly. I am also looking forward to using it for cooler breeze for when we have hopefully a heatwave this year. Will write a review later on in the year to comment on this
Great for heating my cold kitche
I wanted a cheap, small heater that I could put on my kitchen work surface and heat the room just when I’m in there in the morning and evening because it has no radiator and gets ice cold at these times during winter. This is totally doing the job and heats the room quickly. I have a small kitchen, just bigger than a galley size.

A very warm heater with few different settings!
An amazing heater which has several different modes. You have 2 warm modes, the second being the warmest, you also have a cool option where it blows out cool air! I have had many heaters in the past which usually burn out after a month or so, but this one is looking pretty good! It has a over heat protection where is sometimes does automatically turn to cool mode when it is too hit. The plug and socket does not overheat as I usually use this for a few hours on cold days, especially during December! Very, very happy with this overall.

This fan heater is easy to use and belts out the heat when needed. It also will be great in summer for cooling down. It’s light to handle and looks great. Very good value for money.
Cheap and functional
It’s cheap and functional. I have been using it for around two months. It doesn’t have any problem. It warmed up my room where is pretty spacious by around 15 mins. I am not sure about the efficiency for long term usage, but it will be a good option if you need a small heat to accompany the house heaters for couple very cold days.

Cheap but functional little heate
Bought to heat conservatory. Discreet little heater that belts out some warmth when needed. My only complaint is that the control knob is a bit fiddly but otherwise this is just what we needed. Great price too.

It’s a little heater but it packs a big punch.
Works fine - very effective
Have a large lounge with only one radiator in it. I had the same model fan heater as this before, which finally died after three winters of use. Got this as a replacement and it’s been fine. Small but very effective and quieter than some other models. Not silent, but not irritatingly loud, just a background white noise that’s easy to ignore. Main thing is it can heat up a room quickly and effectively, and as it’s electric, no fumes so you can use it with closed windows no problem.

Thermostat doesn’t work
It’s a great little heater but you have to manually turn it off when it gets hot or turn it on when it gets cold. The thermostat just doesn’t kick in.

Just what was needed
Easy to use and instant heat. When you need to warm up a room in good time, this is perfect and 12.99 is a perfect price.
I am unable to afford heating oil this year, so am using only a stove in the lounge, but this means the bedroom is freezing. I have got this heater to switch on 30 mins before going to bed (but then switch off) just to take the edge off the chill. I intend to put this on a smart plug though, so I can control when I want it on remotely as my bedtime changes each day, and saves a trip to the cold bedroom.
Versatile, compact and effective
This is a smallish heater, ideal for a bedroom. I park one on a bedside table so that it can blow across the bed near my head. On low heat it’s like a facial sauna, really helps with the allergies. Plonk it on the floor and turn the heat up, it will get a small guest bedroom warmed up properly inside a half hour. Turn it down after that, or they complain of the heat, in my experience!
Probably a bit noisy to leave on all night, I’m OK with it but my wife is not, ymmv.
It’s a vanilla fan heater, no bells or whistles, with two heat levels (or none at all, for the summer). Seems to be made sturdier than others we have had. Recommended!
Decent product, does what it says.
It decent little heater and does what it says, quite easily warms up an 18sqm room in 25-30 mins at 1KW output and much quicker at 2KW. However, I notice several brands sell this generic model with their own names so if you shop around, you can easily get a bargain / better price.

The heat setting on the highest temp gauge is unsafe, in my opinion. It burns your skin when you go near it, so I keep it on the lowest setting which is still enough to heat a 2 storey house. I can understand why people’s stuff have melted. Unless you’re conscious in your settings of this heater, it’ll burn your house done for sure
Working as promised
This is indeed cheap but working as advertised. The only thing negative that I can say is that, the warm feeling or the heat itself for one small room (for one person) is not that much. But I can say that it is not bad for its prized and it is really working as said.

I had many fan heaters over the years, but this one is the first one you can actually feel cool air blowing. So far works well, heats the room fast, isn’t too loud. Well worth the money.

I use it to heat my garden shed when woodworking etc and it heats the place quickly and quietly. Simple to use and robust.
Beware twisted wire
Really good little heater but beware that over time the wire can become exposed. This happened to me and it sparked up so never leave it on unsupervised.

Lightweighy and easy to store. Small fan but able to warm my whole room.
I was a little concerned at some of the reviews stating that the power plug fell apart or failed miserably. However, I decided that I would buy the product and make my own decision. I am a fully qualified electrical engineer.
Upon receipt of the unit I carefully checked the plug, associated cabling and the general layout of the unit. It appeared fine to me.
I plugged it in and set it to the low heat and tried it for an hour. The plug did not get warm (a typical sign of a poor unit) and the heater worked perfectly. I needed it to warm a small area in a cold office. It also worked perfectly on the high setting, but I don’t really need this for my application. I just wanted to ensure that it worked.
I like the fact that it can be used in two positions, ‘flat’ on the floor, or ‘upright’.
Had the plug got warm I would have cut if off and fitted a new one. A simple task to ensure safety.
I should also point out that I had previously checked that the socket on the wall was correctly installed and there were no loose wires in it. This is a common cause of plug failure. The loose wires cause the socket to over heat.
All in all I am delighted with the unit and I ensure there is sufficient space round it for airflow and only use it when I am in the room
