Adjustable flame function not on this model but still advertised !!
This is a pretty good fire, easy to install, looks great in the room.
Only issue is the flame brightness is NOT adjustable as advertised so please bear this in mind when purchasing this fire.
Apart from that and the price fluctuations it’s pretty good.
Value for money
Dont know about the heat output, I only use the light. I love this purchase and visitor have commented how lovely it looks.
I wasn’t sure of the quality and overall appearance of this fireplace when I ordered it, but I can honestly say that I am absolutely thrilled with it. It is easy to install (remove from box, and plug it in), the heat output is great (thermostat controlled), and it looks beautiful. I was desperate for a homely fireplace in our bland new-build living room, and this certainly worked a treat at a fraction of the cost of other fireplaces that I had looked at in person. This fireplace is great. It was really easy to unpack and install. The glow from the fire affect is lovely and very real looking. The heat is great too and has a thermostat that switches it off when the temperature has been reached. My only bugbear is it’s advertised as ‘white’ and it isn’t. It’s off-white/cream. I probably wouldn’t have purchased knowing this but, overall, a great fireplace that looks lovely.

I’ve tried the lights and it looks so cosy with them on alone. I also tried the lower heat setting and it puts out a lot of heat! The fan isn’t too loud either. All in all I couldn’t be happier with my fireplace.

This looks great and has made my small living room much more cosy. It looks way better than it feels though! The materials feel very cheap, however, it does not look as cheap as it feels. I’ve still rated it 5 stars as I think you get what you pay for – I was on a limited budget so couldn’t afford any more. I believe I’ve got great value for money as I wanted very specific requirements re colour of surround and back panel, size, features, etc. and this matched those perfectly. If I wanted better quality materials I would have to pay at least double, but it does not detract from how good this looks.

I am so pleased with my fire it is perfect in every way, value for money, packaging and heat out put. a little disappointed with the delivery team, the package was so so heavy, it was raining my flat is accessed by internal stairs from my front door I asked them if they would please mind putting the fire at the top of my stairs as there was no room at the bottom, but they declined saying no we are not allowed in I am 57 years old and a lady i thought they may of had a little compasion. So I had to leave it out in the rain until my partner came round.

Great fireplace, warm, cosy but….. the bulb on the fire stopped working after 6 weeks
Absolutely love the instant focal point this suite provides, it’s great the light can be used independently and the heat is a fantastic boost for those extra cold nights without having to over heat the whole house. Great value for money and It arrived well packaged, was easily put in place the same day. Only reason 4 stars not 5 is because we will have to cut out skirting boards for it to sit flat. But I’m sure this is the same with expensive suites too so overall I thoroughly recommend this product .

The surround comes ready assembled in box with the stove. The flame effect is very good and gives a lovely glow. The flame effect can be used on its own and makes the room look cosy. Two heats settings and not too noisy. Thermostat control will switch the fire on and off according to room temperature. There are no fittings to attach it to the wall but I improvised with a slotted mirror plate screwed either side of the inner frame and then to the wall. The skirting had to be re-cut as this fire surround was bigger than my precious one. No need to cut the carpet – it sat nicely on top. The stove is very lightweight plastic with a cast iron look – still very nice. Very happy with item and does not look cheap.
We bought this as it looked like it was quite good value for money and looked nice. It actually looks vastly better than we thought it would. It’s a good, solid quality surround.
The inside of the surround is hollow, which was good as the cable on the fire wasn’t long enough, so I used a 13 amp extension and fixed the socket inside the hollow. There’s enough space behind the backboard for the cable so it can fit flush to the wall (I cut my skirting around it). There’s a plug hole in the back of the backboard enabling the cable to be completely hidden.
There is a LOT of packaging with this, so a trip to the tip may be necessary to dispose of it. It comes well padded with foam supports and polystyrene. The heater had a bit of tape residue on it but this came off easily using a baby wipe. Other than that, it just needed a wipe down with a soft cloth after installation.
The heater itself is great – the LED lighting makes the room look really cosy, and can be operated independently of the heating. The unit kicks out a good amount of heat (it’s a fan heater and as such you can hear it).
Overall, we’re very pleased with both the surround and the heater, and would recommend it to anyone looking for something solid, that looks good, and doesn’t have a fortune to spend.
