Using a EZETAI’s Trail Camera to Catch Vandals

EZETAI trail camera(Model:E9/E2/NDL601) are capable of taking both still photos and video. Trail cameras are capable of capturing photos in complete darkness with no visible flash.Trespassers and vandals seem to be multiplying at an unbelievable rate. Fortunately, spotting backyard intruders such as coyotes and hedgehogs is so easy with the help of wildlife cameras used for security surveillance.

1. Identify the Problem If you have a trespasser problem, the easiest fix is to use No Glow Trail Cam. Also, if you know that there are illegal trespassers on your property, I suggest that you install the hunting camera on a tree or wall, roof, bird feeder or a place that is not easy to find. Our accessories come with a binding strap and the metal bracket installed on the wall. In addition, the shell of our hunting camera has a certain degree of camouflage, which can better integrate into the outdoor environment and is not easy to be found

2. Purchase the Correct Security Camera

There are three nature cameras on the market for you to choose from.

1.No Glow Cameras,like EZETAI E2/E9 game camera

2.WiFi Trail Cameras,like EZETAI E6 hunting camera

3.Cellular Trail Cameras (EZETAI new product under development)

Which of the trail cameras for security is best?

Well, it just depends on your ease of use.

If you can easily reach the camera to change memory cards then having a basic no glow camera will do everything you need.

If you are placed in a high place and it is inconvenient to pick up the card for viewing, I suggest you buy our wifi wildlife camera, which can realize the mobile APP to view the video (the mobile phone is within 15 meters of the nature camera).

3. Bird feeder Camera Setup After testing the camera by yourself, place the bird feeder camera in your selected setup area. Always make sure you have the time stamp option turned to “ON.” Only in the “ON” mode, can you ensure that your camera captures the picture you want under working conditions, and can even be used as a record of your bird feeding.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this product for my granddaughter so that she could see what her hamster was up to during the night. I am very impressed with the quality of the recordings and also with how robust the camera is. I would highly recommend this product.

Great camera have used it in multiple locations, would suggest using it in the garden to find your best settings before you locate it in its final location, got great results at low levels as well, great value for the money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis camera, which I bought for 44.99, is basic but adequate.

Battery life is a few days with rechargeable batteries and much much longer with regular alkaline batteries.

It operates two banks of 4 x AA batteries (ie. 6v per bank) and switches between them as needed. It also accepts a 6v input from an external adapter (not included).
Top tip: There is no battery backup of the settings, so to avoid losing them change one bank of 4 batteries at a time. Do not do what I did and pull out all 8 and then replace all 8 as you will lose all your settings.

My biggest gripe of this camera is aiming it. You have to aim it by eye, then set it going, let it take some footage or a photo, then open it up again, and then review the footage on the built-in LCD that is only accessible when you open it up.
Also there is no way of disabling the camera before opening it up which means every time you visit the camera to swap the memory card or whatever, you will activate it and waste battery by it filming you opening it up.

That aside, it has been fine for what I bought it for. The IR illuminator LEDs and night sight work well, although be aware that this is monochrome-only. In normal lighting then it takes colour footage.

So, overall, it is fine so long as you don’t mind faffing around a bit when first aiming it.

Very good value for the cost, works well for the price paid. Takes a bit of getting used to but it does all I wanted it to do. No problem

These cameras are brilliant, a good range of settings to fit your need. The picture quality is great at night. Eight batteries does seem a lot but they last really well. I use my camera nightly to watch the hedgehogs in my garden and they last for over two weeks. I had a small issue with the buttons on my camera but the company were great and sorted it out really quickly. I would definatley recommend.

I have always been fascinated by animals and wildlife, I encourage many different birds to my garden and so got this wildlife camera to catch their comings and goings. It is great that i can download the videos at a later date and keep the ones i find of interest I have a family of pheasants that visit everyday and eat from my bird feeder and i love to watch them and now I can record them. This cam is also eye opening to see what goes on in my garden during the night too. An added bonus for me, is i can also keep an eye on my 4 dogs and see if they are behaving themselves in the garden when they think i cant see them!
This camera has night vision and motion detection. The quality of the recorings during the night and day are great. There is a space for a micro sd card ( which isnt supplied). The camera is water proof and in my opinion the only thing that would make it better would be if it was bluetooth so i could watch the videos and images live on my phone without having to manually download. The camera takes 8 AA batteries, which seems a lot but it’s been a month now and the cam is still working well on the same cheap branded batteries. All in all, I am very pleased with this camera and love all the wildlife discoveries I’m making.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have always loved nature and wanted to see if anything was making use of our garden

Set up was not to hard you do need batteries

I watched a YouTube video to help me out as never used one before

You can change the quality of photos/video it takes so will use less on memory card which is included, it comes with a strap to mount to tree or post but also comes with screws for a more permanent fix

I set it up and was excited to use but unfortunately not seen anything yet but it could be added to your favourite nature place and left it’s a good camouflage colour so blends in brilliantly

Everything is recorded to the memory card so you can put it into your computer or watch on the small scree

This is a well made camera that comes with everything need to get set up.The camera takes 8AA batteries so could become expensive over time and much prefer rechargeable but that aside its simple to set up and use with full colour daytime recording/pictures and black and white night vision.Great for watching wildlife in garden and works well.Personally I’d spend a little extra on WiFi version so can watch on phone but this is good camera if that’s not important to you

I really like this wildlife camera, it’s very well made and so far has been very good at capturing images of wildlife in my garden. It operates on either 4 or 8 AA batteries, depending on how long you plan on leaving it to capture images. There are options for both video and image capture, with timers to only capture during certain periods, for example at night. The included bracket and strap work well to secure the camera, along with a cable and padlock to keep it safe.

Overall I’m really pleased with this camera. Recommended.

    Excellent Wildlife camera

Good quality capture camera designed to capture all sorts of going on’s in all sorts of places but manly used to see wild animals at night, this comes with full fitting kit plus lock so you don’t lose it this requires eight batteries not supplied but use good quality ones that last, this also comes with 32gb micro card so you can use direct from the box, this is not wifi or bluetooth so will need to view from the micro card in a pc or the like, I feel this is slightly over priced as its not wifi or bluetooth read simple instructions you will not go wrong

This camera is fantastic for capturing nature, the image quality for its size is very good and the sensor works very well.
You can set how long you want to record for and how many photos to take in the settings menu, this all gets saved to the included 32Gb micro SD card.
Viewing the videos on the device is simple and moving them to a pc is simple using the card.
Comes with all attachments to put this on a tree with a strap or screws.
Only downsides are the fact it requires 8xAA batteries, it’s only 6v but uses 8 batteries to prolong the life, also the plastic catch on the side works well but not sure how long before I snap it off.

Overall a great camera for nature enthusiasts.

Good picture and video quality, shame it's not rechargeableable

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a really good quality trail cam, I know this because I compare to my old one and its a big difference.

I am really enjoying this camera. The camera is activated only when something interesting is happening, so every video it captures has something good on it. The battery use is quite good it runs for over weeks on one set of batteries while capturing dozens of short videos every day. I checked that after 1 week the battery level indicator showed remaining battery capacity of 2/3.

I used the supplied strap to mount the camera at slightly below knee height on a tree, close to where we knew animals met in the woods. What we saw over the days of filming were badgers, fox’s, cats, an otter and dogs. It is quite remarkable what actually goes on, a stones throw away from the house. I then positioned the camera on the ground with the strap and saw hedgehogs and such like. The angle at which you point the camera is the most important thing to work out, as it this angle and what passes at that angle, which will determine what it shoots.

There are Infrared digital camera equipped with PIR detectors and infrared LEDs flash low secret glow that give a wide angle view of 120 degrees from a detection distance of 65ft (20m) for hunting animal or event observation of movement activated security camera at home, office and open field.

Overall this is a super product, that will give children and adults hours of fun. It is a fantastic buy at under 100 and I can highly recommend it.

I would suggest if you are looking to buy a motion sensing wildlife camera just buy this one. It really is perfect.
Then you can write your own review and add in the great things I have missed out!

I have wanted to try one of these for ages, so I was excited to get the opportunity

I opened the box, was impressed at the little extras — post or tree mount, screw on mount, small lock (only the most minimum security, though). You get a 32 gb card.

What I was not ready for was the need for 8, yes 8 AA batteries. In this day and age you would expect built in lithium. However when I read through the product description it does mention the batteries — right at the bottom – although it does not say “not supplied”. I was tempted to knock a star off for this, but, grudgingly, I haven’t.

I set it up to see if our local hedgehog visited – it didn’t, but three cats, a blackbird and two pigeons showed up.

The ultra-wide angle does not make for shots you’d want on your wall but it’s great to see what comes to your garden. Most of the shots on the description page are made with a top-end telephoto lens.

Everything you need for wildlife photography …… except the batteries

It is great fun to install one of these in your garden and to be able to see what creatures have visited you during the night, or day. The night vision is excellent, albeit in black and white, although you get full colour during the day.

It is very easy to set this up using the control panel inside. You can customise most of what the camera does including whether you want videos or stills, or both, and how long you want the camera to record for. You can set the times it records within as well so if you only want night time you can choose the hours you want the camera to be active and taking photos and/or videos.

The camera takes 8 AA batteries but once installed they will last for months. You also get a micro 32gb SD. card so that you can transfer the images to a computer using an SD card slot or adapter.

We were thrilled on the first day and night we used this to photograph squirrels and a badger in our garden. Cant wait to see who visits us tonigh

The camera has angle to record of 120 degree and has a very good night vision. The picture quality is very good in HD with a 20 megapixel camera. It has motion sensor so you can playback the moment it is set off wether you use it for hunting or like me for home security. The maximum memory you can use for recording is 256G which in my view is more than enough. Overall it is a well built product and has good features to use with phone.

There are a number of uses for this outdoor camera. With its motion activation for stills or video recording and night vision it’s good for security or wildlife watching, very easy to install and operate and it takes really good high quality HD images.

Personally since the wildlife seems to be thriving out in my back garden, I set this up to see what appears and hopefully get some nice shots of a variety of birds. This is a perfect trail camera for capturing photos and/or videos of wildlife in the garden with options for daylight and infrared for night shots. It is fantastic for capturing images of timid wildlife that you would not normally see. I’ve included a few images captured by the camera, and this is just in the first few weeks.

The camera is lightweight, quick and easy to set up and operate. It requires a micro SD card and up to 8 AA alkaline batteries, neither of which are included. The battery life is good; I have been using the camera for several hours daily on 4 batteries, captured 1,000+ photos and a few videos and the battery indicator is only showing used.

There is good sensitivity on the motion sensor which activates at a good distance as wildlife approaches. The camera has good options to adjust the photo and video quality. Five different photo resolutions from 5MP — 20MP and options for capturing the number of photos taken in a series. Video length can be adjusted and also 5 different resolutions available.

The camera works perfect just sat on a garden table or can be mounted on a tree or post. It’s easy to install and move around to ensure you get the best spot for coverage and light. The rotation position enables you to capture great close up images of birds feeding in portrait. Landscape captures a wider array giving fantastic images of birds in flight.

I am absolutely delighted with the images I have been able to capture so far within just a couple of weens and am looking forward to seeing what new wonders it manages to capture for me over each coming season.

Easy to set up, stunning quality

A simple yet effective device for capturing wildlife remotely. Running on AA batteries you simply attach this device to a tree or similar and activate it. The footage is decent quality and the night vision is pretty good for this type of kit. The video, while not top notch quality is good enough and you can capture things you would never normally get so see if you place it right. The system is motion activated and automatically triggers the recording. Id recommend to those that want to capture wildlife or anything else remotely and automatically.

I bought this to spy on my cats and got it because of the night vision and ability for motion/sound detection to auto start recording video for later playback. I now have incriminating evidence that my cat’s really are this lazy and I have it in stunning video quality. Truthfully, was not expecting the great quality this camera provides.
