Bought this duel cordless lawnmower and strimmer for my brother as he was impressed with mine.
Great cordless tools which with 2 batteries makes short work of his garden and good battery run time he’s now hooked on worxs tools and has started his own collection of cordless tools from worxs.

The only thing I have found was that the batteries didn’t last long only managed to cut half of my lawn but I have now bought myself some 4-0 Ah batteries and it now works fine. Well pleased. It was easy to assemble and easy and lightweight and of course no trailing wires.

This mower is very easy to use and is quiet to use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve got a fair sized garden and didn’t want to go with a petrol mower, corded mowers don’t reach so I needed battery powered.
This is cheap compared to other battery powered mowers and you get the bonus of the strimmer.
For basic functions and gardening they are good eg cutting grass. I think they’ll struggle with much more than grass. I used to cut all my bushes first onto the lawn then use the mower to chop and collect whilst doing the grass, this mowers not capable of doing that.
For 200 it’s a decent buy if it lasts. Worth a shot considering other manufacturers want more than 200 fore the mower unit without the battery’s, charger and no strimmer.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOk so first thing to mention is the battery life, 2 x 2Ah wasn’t enough to do the front and back although I didn’t expect it to. Back is about 150m2 and front about 70m2. Fair enough, it does do the back in one go so just need to plan when to do both. It is a good cut and leaves stripes, only reservation being that the grass collector only ever gets half full before it needs emptying. If you don’t, the bottom clogs up and you lose power as it starts working too hard (you’ll know when it happens as the blade slows and you can hear it struggling). If you’re ok with this then it’s a great mower, just don’t expect it to behave like an electric which has more power. Strimmer is great, no problems with that.

Strimmer is ok but I was hoping it would have a telescopic shaft for easier storage but it works well and it was good value in the se

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this mower and strimmer bundle at the beginning of March, so I’ve used it for about a month now. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow, and it took about 20m from opening the box to having it all assembled and ready to go. The grass box is a lightweight fabric affair with a metal frame – very effective.

The mower, which uses both the batteries, is lightweight and very effective. It’s really quiet, too – far quieter than my previous cabled electric mower. For reference, my lawns are relatively small: front lawn is about 8x8m and back about 8x4m. There are six different height settings. I started tackling the winter growth with the height set to four out of six, and it got three full boxes of grass off my front and back lawns, using about two thirds of a battery charge. I repeated over the next few days with lower height settings, and now use height two out of six for regular maintenance cuts every few days which only use a third of a charge for both lawns and typically gets about half to two thirds of a box of grass off. The mower is quite long and it’s not really feasible to turn it around at the end of the lawn so I just cut one way and walk it back backwards for the next cut.

The strimmer, which just uses one of the two batteries is great! You can use it either horizontally for trimming the grass in hard-to-reach areas where the mower can’t go, or turn the head through 180 degrees and use it vertically for edging. Edging the lawns takes only a couple of minutes with it.

Recharging the two batteries (they both charge at the same time) from the usual point of about a third empty after cutting and edging the lawn takes roughly an hour. Recharging from empty perhaps three hours.

In summary, I’m absolutely delighted with this bundle. Having a cordless mower is such a convenience compared to faffing around with extension cables. 100% recommended!

I bought the package for the mower, the strimmer was a bonus. The mower is pretty powerful, not too noisy and most importantly has great battery life. I don’t have huge lawns but this works a treat and the batteries have lasted at least 5 sessions of mowing with charging. It’s great not to be tethered by a cord, so I would definitely recommend this.

Product was easy to assemble. Batteries take about 2 hours to charge and last long enough to mow my 10m x 10m lawn AND then strim the edges. I’ve only used it once so far and it probably won’t get used again until the spring but it seems decent. It picked up the grass well also.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo I’ve used the both of them now for the last 4 months, I’ve probably done about 10 cuts and strims.
So the strimmer is amazing, super accurate, light weight, powerful and does a really good job, you can certainly get through some wire tho !
Battery life with the strimmer is very good, I have used it quite heavily for over an hour putting it through its paces, got through a while reel of wire in that time (honestly probably did a bit more than I should with an it) and it still had power left in the battery !!!!

Lawnmower side, well it’s light, it is manoeuvrable, fairly quiet, doesn’t use that much power..
    Bad bits for me
It doesn’t cut low enough for my liking.
    It doesn’t leave any stripes.
It can do my front and rear lawn in one battery charge so I’d say it doesn’t use that much power.
The charger is brilliant, does both batteries from empty in about 2 hours.

Overall for the money it’s good, it’s definitely worth it for the strimmer alone

Took me time to figure it out but got there. My garden is pretty big and initially I wasn’t managing to whole garden on one charge, worked out that changing it to eco mode and sorted! Really easy to put together. And I actually now enjoy mowing the lawn!! Bought on monthly payments too and makes it much more affordable! Thanks Amazon!

Good for a small garden, when used you end up with about 20% left after the mow and strim.

Mower is the quietest I’ve heard, doesn’t quite have the cutting power of a corded electric obviously but good enough.

Batteries charge quite quick but if you have a large garden you might want the larger mah batteries.

Came with one of the fasteners missing but couldn’t be bothered dismantling the thing and sending it back for a 5cm part, just bought one from ebay.

I have loads of worx batteries so when looking for a cordless mower it was the obvious choice.
The mower supplied has a roller on the rear and came with a strimmer at a price of 50 less than the equivalent mower on its own…no brainer.
Loads of height adjustment and after 1st use it seems to cut nicely. Handles fold over for easier storage and it’s lightweight.
Yes its predominantly made of plastic but it’s sturdy and it’s easy to manoeuvre.

I like this a lot despite initial skepticism; it’s very light, the batteries are quick to charge and last enough for me to mow both front and back lawns.

It’s not a powerhouse though. Much longer grass will cause it to jam and cut out – hence why it comes with a strimmer. I do wonder if sharpening the blade would also help.

Needed a replacement for my petrol mower which gave up the ghost. So to help save emissions and noise I bought this electric mower and strimmer as a package for 199.
The mower has a safety key which you need to fit into the handle just before you use the machine. My safety key was broken in half inside the packaging so was useless. I did manage to jam a rawl plug into the space where the safety key fits so was able to use the mower. It works quite well but it is more for lightweight jobs. The lowest setting isn’t quite low enough for me but it does cut the grass okay.
I have a lawn front and back about 100 sq yards in all and the batteries coped very well. There are 3 lights on each battery which show their level of charge. After mowing both lawns it only used up one light so potentially I should be able to cut my lawns 3 times before recharge.
The strimmer is quite impressive. You use one battery to operate it and it is quite powerful. Love the flower guard and that you can turn the cutting head around to trim the edge of the grass.
Overall good price for two bits of kit but if you want a better mower look for something a bit more powerful and dare I say heavier and no doubt more expensive. You get what you pay for.
Have contacted the Worx helpline and they say they are sending me a new safety key but it still hasn’t arrived after a month!

This is a great lawn mower. I had it only for a month but I am really impressed with it. It might be the fact that it is my first cordless mower, but I have owned Bosch and Flymo mowers and they were not as good as this one.
It cuts really well and it collects really well, so no more brushing after because of all the grass sprayed on the patio.
I have a 60sq meter garden and the batteries last for two cuts, using the mower and the strimmer. They also charge pretty quick (around 2 hrs).
The downside of it is the collecting bag is a bit unsturdy and when you are trying to empty it, you drop some grass on the ground. But then again, it might be just me doing it wrong.
The strimmer is pretty good as well, it does a proper job for edges, even with only one line instead of the two that I am used to.
They are also both really quie

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI had been thinking about purchasing a cordless mower for quite some time, although the majority of negative reviews across most makes tend to be about low power and cutting out frequently. But my electric mower’s cable was splitting in places and the lead was becoming a little dangerous, so I decided to go more eco and try this combination out.

It’s already a great price for a mower, strimmer, 2 x batteries and a charger, but having read the reviews it appears this mower can suffer from cut outs and limited battery life. So I took the advice of some other reviewers and bought 2 more powerful batteries, the WORX WA3570 20V 5.0Ah Lithium Battery Pro. Took a while to charge so cut the grass the next day.

My back garden is about 88m and the front garden just 9 m. The grass wasn’t very long but a little damp and the mower did cut out on me once when it went over a mound. Apart from that it did the rest of the gardens without problems. Only slight negative is the grass collector as it doesn’t fill up very well once it’s half full. Don’t think it’s got the power to “blow” the grass fully back, but no major bother.

The strimmer was a great bit of kit, much better than my previous corded one, and came with a flower guard. And of course I just swapped out one of the batteries from the lawn mower, so much quicker turn-around.

After finishing the mowing and strimming the batteries where left with 3 bars and 4 bars, obviously one was used more than the other, but at that rate could have done the garden twice at least.

Overall I’m very happy with this combination, but I really do recommend buying the more powerful batteries. Yes, it adds to the cost but it’s still cheaper than some mowers and you get the strimmer to boot!

Very easy to use, heavier than the old flymo but cuts well and much quieter than my old one. The strimmer is quite powerful but does a good job.

  28. Grace Walsh says:

Having a cordless mower and strimmer I wouldn’t go back to a wired one, it makes the job of cutting the grass so much easier and the mower easier to manoeuvre.

Having read some of the more negative reviews I was a bit sceptical however I haven’t been disappointed. The common problem seems to be that people allow their lawns to grow too long and then are surprised when a battery powered mower struggles, it doesn’t have the same power as a mains powered mower. If your grass is long then this mower will struggle and cut out and it will drain the batteries quickly. When the grass is long you will need to strim it first and then mowe it however if you keep your lawn short and cut it regularly this mower is perfect.

I have about a 70m2 lawn and i can cut it on one charge with no issues with battery power left to use the strimmer.

The strimmer does exactly what it should and edges.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersWORX WG927E Dual 20V Battery 34cm Cordless Lawn Mower & 18V (20V MAX) Cordless Grass Trimmer

Overall I have positive impressions of this lawnmower / trimmer despite a few issues which I’ll detail below.

Both the strimmer and mower were easy to assemble and I had them up and running in maybe 15 to 20 minutes so that was all good.

The mower itself feels very robust but the handle unit a little more lightweight – shouldn’t be a problem but was noticeable. Once both fully charged batteries were plugged into the unit I was away. All very easy.

The mower starts up more gradually that a corded mower and takes maybe 5 seconds to truly be up to speed – it doesn’t have that raw power but once it’s running it’s fine and made short work of the longer grass when allowed to work. Once I was mowing I immediately noticed the quality of the cut which I was very pleased with. I’m used to some old flymo thing which really just used to smash the grass into a green pulp so after a seeing a neat and rollered line of grass after one pass was impressive. As the machine has a reasonably large footprint compared to a flymo for example it’s not possible to get right up to the edge of the lawn on the front to back passes, you’ll need to run side on to get closer in. Doing so left the trickiest bits for the strimmer at then end.

Turning the mower around at the end of the garden for the next pass will require a bit of space, I found myself going forward and back 3 or 4 time to complete the turn. There’s a fair bit of weight in this machine which reduces its manoeuvrability.

That being said my back garden was trimmed in no time at all really. This left the machine indicating that not much charge was left in the batteries. My grass in the back garden is slightly over 60m2. I still had the front to do which is probably 1/4 of that. The batteries gave out towards the end of the front garden, maybe 3/4 of the way through. Overall I reckon I got 70m2 of grass cutting out of one charge – slightly disapointing as now I know I’ll always need to change batteries when doing both lawns. Luckily I had some batteries from a Worx drill I could used to finish the last bit but they were less powerful that the ones supplied so the machine died when it hit the thicker grass. I managed to finish by taking it slower. I should add that I was trimming at the lowest height so a 20mm grass height and in turbo mode for the most power. The lawn was only dense and tall in patches so it’s not like the machine was really labouring the whole way through. And that was with doing one pass down each strip of lawn (the machine impressively only needed one pass, the cut was excellent) and a bit of tidying in awkward areas but without going over areas multiple times as it didn’t need it.

I used a depleted battery for the strimmer and that did all the edging I needed with no issues at all.

The grass collection box is big and basically when it’s full the machine leaves piles of grass on the lawn so that was my prompt for emptying it. The mower is really excellent at hoovering up the cut grass, aside from the grass left when the clippings box is full, the lawn was left pristine. I’ll just empty the box before it gets full next time to avoid that.

The mower is noticeably more quiet than a corded mower too and is really smooth to push up and down the lawn. No vibrations from the handles either. So it’s more pleasant to use in that regard.

A lot of the issues I’ve mentioned so far though, for me, can really be offset by this machine not being corded. It’s so much easier to do a lawn without constantly worrying about where the cord is. The more I’ve thought about it, the more pleased overall I’ve been with the end result – my lawn has stripes!!

Additional high power batteries are available and I may have to invest in some. The machine comes with 2 x 2.0 ah batteries. The ones I used from my drill that kept letting the machine die were 1.3 ah so clearly they simply don’t have the juice. There are 4.0 ah batteries available but they are expensive. I may just opt for 2 more 2.0 ah batteries as then I know I’ll always be able to do the lawns with one quick battery change. If your lawn is in the 50 to 60m2 range or smaller, I don’t think you’ll have issues getting the lawn cut on one charge unless it was totally overgrown.

To sum up, when I’ve looked out over the lawn today after cutting I’ve been genuinely pleased at its appearance. The only lingering concerns I had are about battery life which I can solve (buy more) or manage (top up charge before attempting the front garden). So to be left with an overall positive feeling tells me all I really need to know.

Switched from a plug in flymo and the difference is insane! I had no idea that you could get results like the mower gives. I have only ever used a flymo before this and i’m am saddened that it took so long for me to find out how bad they are and how good life can be with a Worx battery powered mower and strimmer.

At this price you need not hesitate.

Battery life limited on turbo or if grass is long , recharge takes several hours makes it hard to mow twice in one day. Mower would get 5 stars if it was sold with 4 or 6 amp hour batteries instead of the 2 amp hour ones. I suffer with arthritis and needed some thing light and easy to operate with easy maneuverability lve found both with the WORX lawn mower and strimmer (lawn mower slightly heavier due to me wanting a back roller on lawn mower for stripes on lawn) this has enables me to enjoy gardening once again they are a joy to use.
love that the batteries are interchangeable with all WORX items what a brilliant idea will definately recommend these goods to any one and l am thinking about purchasing other house hold tools from this company.excellent. m.reid

Does not cut as short as I would like and it is a bit heavier than I expected.on the plus side takes up a small space for storage

Only used once so far but very impressed with cut and ease of use, battery life seems okay with 2 bars gone after about 15 mins (on Eco) so not sure what will happen on Turbo. VEry happy with Strimmer efficient and easy to use (just as good as corded types)
    Will report further after use.
Think I may order a spare battery to keep charged for backup

Arrived quickly and in excellent condition, easy to assemble and even though our lawn was overgrown it dealt with it really well. Lightweight and easy to move across even an uneven lawn, very reasonably priced and being cord free it makes mowing the lawn much easier than with a corded mower. I’d recommend if you want a lightweight cordless mower.

I’ve got a lot if Worx power share tools and never been disappointed, and I’m not disappointed with this one either, lightweight, powerful, quiet even leaves nice lines in the lawn. Awesome.

    Easy, lightweight good quality mower.

Good product for small lawn, has to be used in turbo all the time to prevent it snagging on grass?
Overall i am satisfied. Just manages mine on 1 charge, may not as batteries age.

was a bit concerned about battery operated shouldn’t have been its done a better job than my cabled mower, even the strimmer does a good job glad I took the chance

This is one of the best things I have bought to be honest. Effortless to use, completely different to my old flymo, no more cable and I wasn’t even tired after cutting the grass! I bought 2 extra batteries, but could probably just get away with the two supplied.

Great little mower, light and easy to use. Drawback is poor battery life. Needs the bigger units to become efficient.

Good so far, only used once at end of summer though, cut my lawn and strimmed edges in one charge, about 70 square metres.

Could do with extra batteries or larger capacity batteries, but other than that, easy to use, cuts great, only downside is the battery life especially if grass is wet.
really need to purchase extra batteries, especially to also use the strimmer.

Great mower mows my small lawn easy, I get 3 mows out of one charge. The strimer is exerlent you do have to get your boarder clean before using it the first time. Or you will have stones flying every where

Excellent mower and edger. Very portable and easy to charge. Would recommend.

Only 4 stars given as the charge didn’t seem to last very long – might have been due to it being hard worked as the grass was long and wet, but had to be cut! Laster longer on second charge – we will see. Hopefully better on shorter dry grass!

Works great for my lawn, can mow the whole area and still have enough in the batteries to trim the edges. I have not tried eco mode yet. The mower is good, and the trimmer is excellent. I have about 100 square meters of lawn with 4 flower beds with log roll edging.

Takes 15mins to cut grass now with this mower – used to take an hour with a larger electric one! Very light and great stripes. Only downside is how long the batteries will last although ok so far. Strimmer is also the best every had. Recommend both.

I got this at a great deal price. A great bit of kit but could do with being a little more powerful. As it doesn’t fill the box properly.

Had to take my first one back as the strimmer broke. Strimmer bit flimsy when it folds but works and cuts perfectly. Mower is really good and cuts fantastic. Downside is batteries last around 20/25 mine but i do manage to do both front and back including a strim.

So easy to put together as well. I’m very pleased. Haven’t used the trimmer yet!

Excellent product.. not sure why I didn’t buy before. If you are just contemplating to buy just do it!

Had a few flymos before and this unit beats them in quality, weight.

Easy to roll and the convenience in using a cordless is too great once you start.

Good instructions and well built. Folding of lawnmower is done by unscrewing handle and reversing before screwing them back.

Easy to set cutting profile compared to all the previous 60-100 corded lawnmowers I have used.

    Pros
    – Very lightweight in comparison with my previous petrol lawnmower. I can pick this up 1 Worx lawnmower 1 handed no problem.
    – Strimmer does the job, for both edging and getting into corners.
    – Battery compatibility with other worx products(I already own drill and impact driver)

    Con
    – Only real negative is battery life, but saying that I get through my 50m2 garden in 50% charge of the batteries.
    – Width of cut might be smaller than what people are used to.

Roller is a nice touch, but isnt that effective due to the light weight of machine.

This is an awsome set for a small to medium garden. The strimmer worked better than I was expecting and the lawnmower was just ace five stars

Lovely lawnmover for the price. I had long grass that had been left. This cut it no problem. Strimmer works brilliantly much better than the last one i had.
Being a single mum this was easy for me to set up and easy to use. Lightweight and seems durable. Very pleased!

Bought this last week and first used it yesterday, Easy to assemble and battery life, pretty good. If you have a larger lawn I would purchase extra batteries so they could be charging to take over. Cut the grass well and created stripes with its roller. Do not set the blades to low if your grass is slight longer as it will cut out, keep at a higher setting.

    It’s a great mower.
    Large capacity bag.
Cuts really well. Has a slight occasional blockage but tilt the mower and it clears.
It’s let down by the battery life.
4 or 5ah batteries should be standard not a cost extra.
